Disclaimer: I do not own any of the official characters from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Lauren Faust is the person who created this generation of ponies. The Familiar of Zero (ゼロの使い魔 Zero no Tsukaima) and all of its known official characters, concepts, locations, etcetera are owned by Noboru Yamaguchi. The series Metroid, and all known characters, concepts, locations, etcetera is owned by Nintendo. Any original characters belong to me unless stated otherwise.
Author's Note: This particular triple crossover takes place within my sub-universe series The Familiar of Zero Mission of the Metroid fandom that follows the adventures of Saito Hiraga, Sekai Jiraiya, and Lumine Starr. While crossing over with My Little Pony, that portion is part of The Conversion Bureau sub-universe created by the first author "Blaze".
This off-shoot of the entire chapter in general however has no actual impact to the universe of The Familiar of Zero Mission. This was written up simply because of TCB stories I have read lately and the ideas involving this universe of the MLP fandom will not leave me the hell alone. I doubt it'll make much sense, and mainly I wrote this out just so it would get out of my head and make room for better plots.
EDIT: I was aware of an error that somehow duplicated this chapter twice in one page. I fixed that.
So Much for the Conversion Bureau
So for life on Earth, it was typical for the humans that lived on this wonderful planet: starships flying in and out of the atmosphere, space traffic causing delays in shipments from interplanetary deliveries, and the occasional alien refugee coming to Earth to make a new living on the planet that gave birth to the government known today as the Galactic Federation, or for humans to wake up next to aliens whom have held a few generations living on Earth since their ancestors coming to their planet many years ago.
While humanity has evolved and their technology has allowed them to meet other alien races, and form a new government with them, and to colonize other planets and moons in faraway locations from Earth, there were still the struggles that humanity (and aliens alike) deal with. One of these main threats was the race of warmongering creatures that are collectively known as the Space Pirates. But as the beginning terms of the Phazon War start to develop, something unexpected was going to happen that would throw the universe into a loop.
Today started like no other for the government officials of the Galactic Federation, for the civilians that go about their daily lives, and the occasional randomness. There was a man who was docking at one of the parking bays of the Galactic Federation. He was a colonel in the GF's military army. His name was Fugaku Hiraga. He was one of many higher-ups in the Galactic Federation Army and Marines called to headquarters to discuss the looming threat of the blue poison called Phazon.
Fugaku sighs as he shows his ID and goes through the standard procedures of scanning for foreign substances on his person.
"With all this bullshit of Phazon threatening the universe, it's keeping me away from my family more and more," Fugaku said to one of the techs working the scanning device.
"Yeah? I haven't seen my family in months, Colonel Fugaku. With this threat of Phazon discovered by Samus Aran, and the accursed Pirates utilizing that deadly mutagen, things are going to get a lot worse in the following months, or even years."
"Scan Complete. You're clear, Colonel Fugaku."
"The sooner this convention ends, the sooner I can get to work doing my share of space patrolling."
Fugaku left the scanning chamber, allowing the next alien to step into the chamber for a scan. Fugaku dug into his pockets and pulls out his wallet, and upon opening it sees the family photo that he always carries with him; depicting him with hiss lovely wife and their two sons.
"Hopefully we solve this Phazon crisis happening, and the universe can return to some sense of normalcy," Fugaku hears one of the scientists state to one of his colleges, as he walks down the hallway.
Damn, I miss my family...

On a planet far away in another area of the universe, we have a large blue planet called Big Blue. At Mute City, there were F-Zero Races happening right now and also displayed live on television. On a gunship flying towards Earth after making its very long travel through subspace, the F-Zero Races were being broadcast on the cockpit's main monitor. The occupants of the gunship were rooting for Captain Falcon to take the checkered flag in 1st Place.
"Captain's gonna win this!" exclaims Saito Hiraga, the main owner of the gunship nicknamed Dragon Buster. He was a pure human from a rich history descending back to Earth's feudal Japan. He was of Japanese descent, but born on Planet Big Blue.
"No doubt," said a female, her cat ears twitching and tail swaying happily as she was spooned in the arms of another male with long pointed elf ears.
The catgirl with the hints of bleach blonde fur along the backs of the hands, feet, and the small of the back was Lumine Starr. She was a feline-based species of humanoid alien from Planet Thuban 9 of the Elistar system. Her race was typically called Cait Syth. The male with the elf ears was a Jiraiyan, often confused with another elf-based humanoid race. This was Sekai Jiraiya, from planet Jiraiya in the Xia system. And his bloodline was that of royalty; he is also the last of his race.
The fourth companion of the gunship was a beautiful young woman. She looked almost human in physical appearance, but she had insectoid-like traits to her form. Blue-green chitinous-like plating covers along her slim stomach and frontal sides of her midsection, and appear to accentuate the large bust that is her breasts. A black carapace-like attachment frames along her forehead and ends with sharpened tips behind the ears, with a growth of a long twisted unicorn's horn, and from the upper base of the horn was a crown-like growth tipped with blue orbs. Her face was archaically shaped, a trait of beauty to her race with waist-length teal hair in curly smooth tresses. In addition, she has a sharp pair of fangs when she smiles, large sharply-tipped ears with small silver ear studs and green crystal earrings, and dark green eyes with elongated oval pupils. The tipping ends of her eyelashes were also tipped with tiny blue orbs, highlighting her eyes with a trace of teal green eye shadow. Large insectoid wings are folded along her back. She was dark-skinned, an exotic chocolate brown.
"I hope that my daughter is capable of keeping watch over our kingdom while I am away," she said, playing with the luminous blue orbs that make up the bracelets around her wrists.
"Princess Anis will be fine, Chrysalis. We volunteered to bring you to the Galactic Federation so you can finally join the galactic communities. Sombra can no longer hurt you and your people," Saito tells Chrysalis.
Her wings and the blue orbs that tip her crown glow a soft blue aura. The green of her earrings also gave off a soft aura glow. She is clad in a beautiful gown-like black/green shimmery dress with attachments of silver and gold Valkyrie-like armor plating along the legs, waist, upper chest, with a plume of silver white feather wings forming a side skirt attachment on the left waist. For footwear were plated high heels. From a specially-cut hole in the back of the outfit, her long teal horse-like tail with equipped gold tail ring is allowed its non-constricted freedom. Their exotic alien traveler was, as Saito indentified, Queen Chrysalis, of planet Chrysa. Her race were known as Changelings; humanoid alien life forms that can shape shift into mimics of who they see. They were similar in shape shipping/transformative powers as another bounty hunter who went by the name Gandrayda; however they can only mimic living organisms, not those of robotics.
As for the being mentioned as Sombra, the King Sombra was a self-appointed king after fifteen years of keeping Chrysalis's people imprisoned by his dark sorcery. It was when she took over the role as leader after the death of her parents she managed to get a magical beacon deployed. That beacon attracted the crew of the Dragon Buster. In short, the Dark Crystal Empire that Sombra erected over the main capital of Chrysa was destroyed after a final battle that determined the fate of the planet's survival by his dark magicks. Saito, Sekai, and Lumine were the planet's saviors.
This event occurred one year ago.
"Saito."
"Hm? Yes, Chrysalis?"
"I couldn't help but notice that over the year since our liberation from Sombra's magic, my daughter Anis has developed emotions for you," she casually tells the dark-haired teen.
Saito blushed, eliciting a grin to emerge on Chrysalis' lips.
"And he's done it again! Captain Falcon takes the checkered flag and the Gold Trophy in this year's F-Zero Grand Prix!" one of the F-Zero announcers shouts.
Celebrations all around on board the Dragon Buster, as on the TV, minutes later as the race ends fully, Captain Falcon waves to all of his fans. Half an hour later the gunship reaches Earth when the ship's computers picked up strange energy fluxes and pinpointed it to the Hawaiian Islands. Sekai, being sensitive to some types of magic, took control of the ship, disengaged autopilot, and flew towards the planet.
No one in the universe knew this was a sign of trouble brewing... especially since an out of the blue event allowed this to happen...
=0=0=0=
A horseshoe-shaped portal emerged on the natural Hawaiian Islands that remained in this day and age not transformed into heavy industry platforms. Emerging from the vivid portal of light was a tall pony with wings and a horn, followed by other ponies. Four of these ponies wore identical armoring; two have wings and two had horns, and they were armed with sharpened metal spears. Behind them were six ponies: two unicorns, two pegasi, and two Earth ponies. These six ponies were wearing what some would call tacky jewelry.
The air was crisp and clean, with the hint of the sea and tropical winds. Lovely scents can be caught in the wind coming from pineapple trees, and coconut trees. The sky was a beautiful orange hue, with greenery as far as the eye can see. They had appeared on a beach because the lapping soft crash of waves washes ashore the beautiful crystal white sands. Over the hills, the sun is seen in its sunset.
Yes, I can go on and on how beautiful this scenery looked like to these equines that appeared from a magic portal...
"This land looks so beautiful," said Fluttershy, inhaling the clean air.
"Don't get comfortable, my little ponies. We have yet to encounter any humans," said Princess Celestia.
They have been studying this world for years after Daring Do's grandfather had uncovered a strange mirror that looked into other worlds that were violent. This mirror was unlike the magic mirror sealed at the Crystal Empire. After years of research, Celestia finally decided that they would extend their hooves to the humans of this world beyond the portal friendship, and to solve their crisis of bloodshed and wars. And also, she would hope to show the humans the life of being a pony being more peaceful than being human...
Boy they were in for a huge surprise...
Suddenly a thrum of dark magic washed over the island, freezing the ponies.
"Magic that pierces the boundaries... Ahahahahaha! This portal will grant me my return!" a dark voice roars out. One that was VERY familiar to Princess Celestia.
Celestia gasped. "King Sombra!?"
The mares who hold the Elements of Harmony gasp.
The portal they came through soon disrupted when another swallowed it, the mixing of the light energies fused with dark energies forming a deadly harmony. Suddenly a black cloud of smoke emerges, storming the very air with a loud scream. These magicks exploded from the portal now compromised of twilight magic, and shoot away, hitting the ground after streaming through the air. Soon familiar eyes with smoky purple wisps emerge, followed by an evil smile.
"I have made my return!" Sombra's voice echoes, as the large cloud of smoke strikes the ground, generating a vicious burst of wind. The spiraling smoke began to vanish slowly. Celestia was ready to unleash her light magic, then the smoke-engulfed form was finally revealed... in his glorious non-pony form?
What in the name of Starswirl...?
He stood at a tall height of seven feet equal, with a dark skin tone. His eyes were a vivid red color with poison green sclera, and smoky wisps of purple radiating from the edges of his eyes. A four-horned gun silver helmet wraps around the top and sides of his head, with an additional two horns cresting the sides of his face. He had a goatee and wicked-trimmed sideburns. From the forehead was a blood red crystal horn that gave off a sinister glow. His long hair flowing behind him was smoke black, and flowed and swirled like it was made of smoke itself. His entire body from the neck down was encased in silver gray heavy armor with traces of black and red around the neck, chest plates, crotch, and arms/legs. Black gloves protect his hands with red-spiked knuckle guards. Draped across the large shoulders was a royal red robe with framed metal collar connecting to the armor. It made him one very imposing dark king.
He lifts his right hand, as a black crackle of electricity runs across the fingertips. He clenches it tightly before looking around, examining his location.
"Hmm, this is not the Dark Crystal Empire..."
His eyes trail over to... ponies? Ponies were standing there, frightened at his appearance, except for the armored ponies holding crude metal spears in front of a tall winged/horned pony that was giving him such a dark look. This was intriguing... they clearly radiated forms of light magic from their souls, and were the source of light magic that allowed him to form his twilight.
"This is not Planet Chrysa. You... what are you and what planet is this?" Sombra demands of the ponies.
Before any sort of answer could be given, a loud boom is heard, catching everyone's attention. A large flying metal ship (to the ponies) flew over and three shadows had emerged from it, freefalling. One of them swings what looks like a wooden staff and green shimmering energy swirls around the three shadows. The spell by Sekai cushioned their freefall as they hit the ground in front of the ponies.
"King Sombra!"
Sombra laughs evilly. "Well, well, well... the heroes of Planet Chrysa. I guess my re-emergence into life has not eluded your detection skills, Sekai."
"We detected strange energy signatures coming from here, and then we felt a sudden burst of dark magic."
Saito draws forth his sword Derflinger. "How the fuck are you still alive? We killed you in the Crystal Throne!"
Sombra grins. "I am a being of immense dark magicks from the galaxy. I never believed I would die, but I was always prepared for my inevitable return. I was but a mere shadow in the world of darkness when I felt magicks that broke the boundaries. So, I simply used the energies of that portal and here I am..."
He points to behind the three hunters.
"The portal's creation is due to those creatures that stand behind you. The magick that flows from them is that of light itself..."
The girl with the cat ears and tail glances behind her. She did not look human to the ponies.
"Sekai... Sombra's right. They are radiating a form of light magic off their beings."
"Twilight magic... the fusion of darkness from Sombra, and those creatures' light magic formed twilight," said Sekai, looking towards the fused white and black/purple portal.
"Correct. And that is how I regained my body; twilight magic... one of the most dangerous forms of spirit artes to your race, Sekai. But unfortunately, our reunion must be cut short. I'm going to ensure that the heroes who defeated me die right here and now!"
A surging aura explodes from Sombra, generating buffeting winds.
"Sombra... I can't believe you have returned from the dead," another voice spoke up. This voice was also familiar to the ponies.
A humanoid creature that looked like the queen of the changelings walked up, cutting through the group of ponies that moved away in fear of her. Off in the distance was the Dragon Buster, away from the battle field but not shut off as the engines were on stand-by mode.
"Queen Chrysalis! Stand back!" Saito yells at the queen.
That name surprised the ponies.
"Chrysalis! You are here too, I see? Good. I have a trophy to bring with me when I show your corpse to your daughter Anis!"
Sekai's staff shines and he unleashes a bolt of white lightning. Sombra formed a black crystal shield that blocks the attack. This started the fight as Saito rushed towards Sombra in a fast sprint, slashing at Sombra who ducks and blocks with his crystal shield. Lumine's form shines before the light dissolves leaving her in her pink and white feline-like combat armor. The other ponies backed away as Sekai's magic flared with a green tint of nature.
"Yuopuutin'di Ieku Pudiushimu!" (1)
The ground cracks as Saito expertly sways through and between the long tendrils of wood that were flying towards Sombra's leaping form. The tall sinister sorcerer roars, throwing purple fireballs to burn the tentacles of wood.
"Sombra!"
Saito had grabbed one of the tentacles of wood and earth and used it as a rising platform. Then with a boost of his own energy he springs upward farther, the sword shining with a brief glimmer.
"Perun Ruugatimuumugu!" (2)
The same lightning attack from before strikes at the sword, and the sword's special properties absorbs the energy, just as Saito shouts as he chops down. Sombra growls in pain before dissolving into black smoke to evade the weapons fire coming from Lumine's buster arm. For Saito, he lands on an outstretched wood tentacle and slides down its smooth wooden bark, tucking into a roll as he hits the sand, before he springs to his feet, barely dodging more fireballs from a re-solidifying King Sombra. His eyes crackle with energy as he then switches from purple fireballs to black crystal chunks, targeting Queen Chrysalis.
"Not bad, but it appears you've gotten rusty!" Sombra taunts, as Sekai channeled more magic to form natural shields to block the corruptive black magic crystals.
"Chrysie, it's not safe for you to be out here," Sekai told the queen.
"Sombra has returned, and this time I will not look upon him with fear, Prince Sekai," Chrysalis told the elven prince.
"But is your magic strong enough to combat his dark magic, Chrysie?"
"I have some surprises up my short sleeves, Sekai," she said, as her green magic aura takes hold around her horn, and envelop her hands.
Sombra is cut-off from his attack by Saito and Lumine double teaming the evil sorcerer, mixing their weapons attacks into their close-quarters combat tactics. But Sombra was easily able to keep up with their blur of attacks.
"Princess Celestia! What's going on?" Twilight asks her mentor, unsure of what was going on or how that two of them looked so much like King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis, but not a pony or changeling.
Celestia was unsure herself. One of them was clearly human; however the other two humans weren't human. And she was feeling the feel of magic in the air, surging wildly in this battle that erupted. Humans didn't possess magic according to their studies into this world. One had cat ears and a cat's tail, while the other had long pointed ears, a crystal growth on his forehead, and radiating a large concentration of elemental magic. The only human of this weird group carried a sword that can absorb magic and be used to empower sword attacks. And then the creature that looked like the changeling queen that attacked Canterlot, but standing and looking almost human.
Something was very wrong here right now...
"My little ponies, prepare to harness the Elements-"
Celestia is cut off by a building power of magic flowing from the humanoid Chrysalis.
"Come forth! Answer my plea, Warrior of the Moon! Banish the darkness from the world of light!" The aura surged vividly and began to grow above, taking a solid shape. "Nightmare Moon!"
Pony jaws dropped at the shout of the name. The aura that took shape solidifies with a flash of light before a vivid light purple and blue aura surrounds a humanoid female warrior clad in the armor of the Nightmare Moon familiar to Celestia and the Harmony Bearers. The armor was a nightly blue color and the bodysuit was a rich royal purple. The face of the humanoid female was half human and half pony. The armor resembled that of Nightmare Moon with additional content, with black cloth capes that drape over the sides of the tall crescent-shaped pauldrons that protect the shoulders, and underarmor of the torso.
A white moon crystal pendant is set in the center of the torso armor just above the summoned deity's bust. A metal skirt decorates the waist, and has long high heel plated boots. White gloves cover the hands tipped with crystal black claws. The helmet that protects the head of the deity matched the shape of Nightmare Moon's pony helmet for our pony viewers. From the back of the helmet, a shimmering magic curtain forms the deity's hair, along with a similar glowing sparkly tail from the backside.
Nightmare Moon's aura shined as she stands her ground, summoning a large glowing metal glaive. In a burst of light, four shimmering black pony wings not connected to the back take form and seem to float along her sides in a spread manner. Crescent floating metal crafts also float above the wings, with a curved moon crescent hovering above her helmeted head with a glowing oval light blue crystal within its center.
Nightmare Moon was Planet Chrysa's Patron Deity that protected the planet from an ancient evil from ages past, lived among Chrysalis's ancestors, and died giving her divine protection. Celestia and her entourage didn't know this, though. The name drops were just confusing the hell outta them! Hey, despite the name, this Nightmare Moon was one of the good guys...
"So, you summon the Patron Deity of the Moon's spirit. Like that will help you!"
Sombra sweeps his leg releasing a burst of magical energy forcing Saito and Lumine to jump back to avoid the attack, just as Nightmare Moon charges forward in a burst of magic, the large moon glaive pointed forward. Sombra blocks the attack with his own crystal blade, chopping forward but missing the deity. With a roar, Sombra slams the weapon at the ground, and black crystals shoot forward in all directions. Saito throws wind magic under his and Chrysalis's feet and they fly up into the air. Saito and Lumine run to avoid the black crystals. Nightmare Moon teleported in the sky before racing downward with a lunge, glaive pointed towards Sombra's form.
Sombra was pierced, but turned into a plume of smoke, cheaply dodging the kill.
"Damn his smoke dodge! Such a cheap tactic..."
He reappears, gathering energy into his hands.
"Hmph!"
Sombra with the energy gathered generates a large lance made of black crystal that shimmers with a red pearlescent tint. The blade's end was like a grab's claw; sharp and deadly with serrated prongs.
"Throughout celestia and terra this is my glory!" He swung his weapon, lashing out with three separate waves of black magic that struck down the three hunters. He then leapt high into the air as energy consulates around the entire weapon, before shooting towards the blade's tips. "Demon's Lance!"
The weapon is launched downward and upon striking the ground, an immense powerful explosion of dark magic sends everybody crashing into the distance.
Princess Celestia cries out in pain, as even when she generated her most powerful light-attuned magic shield, the strange technique was sending a backlash of pain to her body. The shield shattered when Saito bodily smashed through it, crashing and toppling over the princess. The other ponies were getting up, brushing off sand from their bodies from the sudden and powerful explosion of dark magic that sent them all flying away. It was terrifying to the six girls with the Elements of Harmony seeing this humanized King Sombra with such destructive power. The guards were already trying to find their weapons to assist in the protection of their sun princess.
"Pitiful!" Sombra yells, lunging forward ready to impale Saito and the pony he crashed into.
Chrysalis swishes her hand at Sombra and Nightmare Moon got in the path, blocking with her Moon Shield. She then pushes Sombra away and forces him back, bringing the fight to the dark king.
"Sekai! Healing spells, quick!" Saito shouted.
In a burst of magic Sekai had sprinted towards Saito and the downed pony. Muttering under his breath in Long Dau, runes splashed around in a wide radius, and a heavenly glow lights those within the circle. Cursed damage was healed away. As the healing continued Nightmare Moon and Sombra continued their duel of weapons clashing again and again.
From the ground, Lumine withstood the pain she was feeling in favor of landing some potshots with her buster gun.
Celestia moaned, opening her eyes as she felt her strength return and the aches and pains fading away. The healing runes vanish and Sekai stood up. Nightmare Moon landed a hit that sent Sombra flying right towards the dirt. This was good enough distance.
"Diiwaku Tidiumun!" (3)
Jamming the Chozo Staff's bottom end into the ground, a shockwave of yellow energy races along the ground before stopping just under Sombra where the ground explodes with rocky spires to smash into his back.
"Hey Saito! Grab me already so I won't rust or get crystallized," cried Saito's trusted blade, Derflinger.
Saito sprinted towards Derf and grabs him, just as an angry Sombra casts some dark fire at the black-haired bounty hunter. He brings the blade up and cleaves the fire in half, Derflinger glowing softly as his innate talent draws the magical energy from the fire. Then, reversing his hold on the talking sword, slices down sending a lighter-colored fireball right back at Sombra who blocks with a shield of crystal.
He's left open from behind as a powerful bazooka explosion strikes him in the back. Staggered by this glaring opening in his defenses, Nightmare Moon charged forward and struck with a hard kick towards his head, another axe kick into his midsection, then unleashes several blazing swings of the glaive, ending this combo with a blast of explosion magic sending Sombra flying back.
The three hunters reunited, taking a defensive form in front of Queen Chrysalis, and the ponies whom gathered around the taller winged horned pony.
"Blasted fools... you won't get another chance like that again," Sombra warned, spitting a bit of blood from his mouth to the dirt.
"Too late, prick!" Sekai retaliated.
Sekai lashed out with all of his power through the Chozo Staff he wields in the form of purplish blue lightning strikes that channeled through conjured magic chains. Sombra was wrapped in the chains, and the thunder attack struck at his body before the chains finally exploded from being overloaded with magical energy. This was Sekai's empowered Ruugatimuumugu Mine (4) technique. Sombra was lying on his back at the end of this electrifying explosive attack...
They all tensed up when Sombra turned to smoke, only to resolidify, back on his two feet. He's mad now.
"You still have that drive for battle. But just drive alone will not stop me this time around!" King Sombra's eyes glowed much brighter, those trails turning much thicker as his aura started to grow. Sekai swore. Sombra was planning to unleash a larger wave of crystals hoping to glass them all. Even if they continue this fight, Sombra's increase power was a notice for the fighters.
"We gotta escape now! This fight's a lost cause!"
"NO! YOU ARE GOING TO BE GLASSED FOR MY COLLECTION! YOU WILL DIE HERE AND NOW!" Sombra's roars were piercing the howling winds of his building power.
Saito remote-calls the Dragon Buster and the ship immediately took flight and flew towards them, the back hanger door opening up. Sekai threw out his magic and grabs the colorful ponies and forced them into the gunship's back, Saito and Lumine racing inside to get to the cockpit. Chrysalis just jumped on-board, and was grabbed by Sekai as the ship lurches off the ground and speeds away in a hurry. Just in time, too. A brilliant explosion of magic flares outward, and from it, a shockwave of black crystals started to take form from thin-air, corrupting and "glassing" the islands.
Sharp jagged shards of black crystal were piercing towards the heavens, some shoots blooming towards them in an attempt to strike them out of the sky. But Nightmare Moon's aura bathes the gunship and the crystals shatter upon touching her aura. The Dragon Buster flies clear from the air space around the islands as an aura of red takes shape into a round barrier, releasing a surge of fading dark magic that no doubt would have been detected by the Galactic Federation. The islands were now cut off from everyone.
Somewhere on the mass of crystallized sand, Sombra's power faded and he casts a dark look on the retreating starship belonging to the heroes that ended his life one year ago. But, he was back again. He decides to head further into the glassed island and begin his reconstruction of his crystal empire, and reform his dark crystal army. Whatever this planet was, he'll make it his base of operations...

The hanger doors seal shut with a metallic slam, and Sekai sighs.
"Chrysalis, are you alright?"
"I am fine, Sekai."
They look to the moon deity, and said deity bows regally before vanishing, her spirit returning to the spirit realm.
"No doubt the Galactic Federation detected those massive energy spikes. Chrysalis, I'm sorry this turned into a complete clusterfuck of a bad situation."
"It is not your fault. None of us knew just how treacherous King Sombra's powers truly were."
From the ship's cameras, and the picture feed displayed on one of the monitors in the hanger, Chrysalis and Sekai could see the black crystals "eating" the islands up and turning the landmass into crystallized land.
"Other than getting you an audience with the Galactic Federation's Council and the Chairman, we'll have to inform them of this latest threat to all of life in the galaxy."
"If only Sombra would just stay dead..."
"We'll handle this threat when the time comes, Chrysie," Sekai placated the queen. Heading to the command deck, he turned the mic on. "Lumine, I'm sure summoning the Moon Patron tired Chrysalis out. Get her some food and drink."
"Sure Sekai."
"Saito-kun, how long until we reach headquarters?" Sekai then questions Saito.
"Well, provided traffic's not a bitch and we keep at the fast speed I'm on now, roughly thirty minutes," was the answer.
"Good. Keep me posted."
"Roger."
Mic is turned off for now. Chrysalis was seen looking to the ponies that were looking at her with wary (and apparently untrusting) glances.
"Chrysie, Lumine's going to provide you some food and drink. You must be a bit tired from the spirit summoning."
"Sounds good. I could enjoy a good snack," she says, before looking back at the colorful ponies. Sekai also wondered how or why they were on that beach in the first place with Sombra. With his attune to magical forces, he could feel that the tallest winged and horned pony was connected to that portal of light before Sombra's magicks bled through.
Chrysalis walks past them, ignoring how the armored ones tensed up as she passed by them and through the opening and closing automatic door. That left Sekai all by himself with the alien-looking equines. Why did they have that cartoonish aura to them?
"I can tell that you are not in cahoots with King Sombra, since you never took active in our little bout with the dark sorcerer," said Sekai.
"Yes. Although, we knew of another pony that goes by the name Sombra... but he was not... that creature that stood on two legs. Who are you?" asks the regal-looking pony of the group.
"Hm... I am Prince Sekai Jiraiya. I'm a type of elf-based alien humanoid species of the universe. My kind is distinguished differently from other elves from the crystals that grow on our foreheads. I'm of a royal bloodline because of the crystal-like wing growths on my forehead sprouting from the sides of my soul crystal as a type of molded crown. My race are also heavily attuned to the spirit artes of the universe, or commonly referred to as magic."
"Are those talking ponies I see?"
The ponies turn to the voice... and spy a talking catfish... a talking colorful catfish... a talking colorful ALIEN catfish...
"Cool! Talking fish!" exclaims Pinkie Pie with her bubbly personality shining.
"Yes Klaus," Sekai answers, ignoring the exclamation from the pink one, "They're apparently talking colorful ponies. Ponies whom I question where their origins from since they appeared on that beach where King Sombra stood alive once again..."
"What? But I thought you, Saito, and Lumine killed Sombra a year ago?" the catfish named Klaus exclaims.
The ponies flinched at the word kill. Sekai paid them no heed.
"We did. But apparently there was a portal of light magic and it was mixed with his breed of dark magic forming twilight magic, and now he's alive again and stronger than ever."
The talking catfish from his specially-made fish tank with special hologram lid (allows anything to go into it but keeps the contents from getting "swished about" especially during dog fights in space) started cursing in German.
"So, you're going to inform the Federation of this development?" the fish asks, once he stopped his German tirade.
"Duh. Since Sombra's back from the dead, his dark magic can cause really harmful damage to the planet and the Federation in turn, since this is Planet Earth, home to the human race and the birthplace of the Galactic Federation."
"I can tell from Chrysalis's introduction to the Federation, Sombra's apparent rebirth, and these mystery ponies in the hanger, we're going to be dealing with a lot of bullshit in the future. And it's all going to be very troublesome."
"Hey! Don't ignore us like we're not here," one of the ponies shouted. It was the winged pony with the rainbow-colored mane and tail.
Sekai sighed. "I am sorry. It's just we're dealing with a lot of chaotic stuff right now, much more chaotic now that King Sombra has returned back from the dead."
"Yeah, bolder Space Pirate attacks and raids on defenseless planets and colonies, this whole Phazon stuff Samus Aran uncovered and alerted the Federation about, Mrs. Hiraga wanting grandchildren from her son, Princess Anis having a sexual desire for Saito."
Sekai chuckled at the last part.
"Yeah, I noticed the lust-love-induced glances Chrysalis's daughter shot towards Saito when he wasn't noticing or looking."
"I'm surprised you didn't do anything stupid like shove them into a broom closet and seal it with magic until they banged each other," said Klaus.
"I did think that but then Chrysalis would likely have smacked me around with her magic. Was tempting. Very tempting. I just think that Saito's getting a bit envious of Lumine and I having our nightly romps in the bedroom."
Klaus laughed. "Yeah, and poor Saito only has his right hand and online porn for comfort."
The fish and the alien elf openly roared with laughter, their teasing of poor single Saito Hiraga, who back in the cockpit was hearing all of this and threatened revenge under his breath much to the smirking forms of Lumine and Chrysalis who's snacking on dried pinako fruits. The laughs died down eventually; the ponies were silent however on this, not understanding of what was going on.
"Go to hell, Sekai," Saito finally said on the intercom, once the laughter died out.
The talking fish looks to Sekai. "Hand me my hamster ball, please."
Sekai levitated a modified large hamster ball, filled it with fresh water from the fish tank, before Klaus jumps out of the tank and into the ball, the lid closing on it and sealed tight. Now mobile, the fish "rolls" out of the hanger, leaving Sekai with the ponies.
"Okay. Distractions over with... I can tell that this is not just a social visit. No one in the universe has ever encountered talking ponies before. As far as humans know, unicorns and pegasus are mythological creatures to them."
Unless you count mutant alien hybrids, was the afterthought in Sekai's mind. He was recalling the monster aliens he once encountered called Horsebirds.
"I am Princess Celestia," the winged horned pony announced herself, using her royal voice as she spoke. Sekai stayed quiet. "My entourage and I are from a magical world of peace and harmony, known as Equestria. I am but one of the co-rulers of Equestria. My younger sister, Princess Luna, is back in Equestria taking rule of the kingdom while I am away on this... I guess you can call it a welcoming to the human world."
"I see. And what are the names of your group, princess?"
"My trusted guards are Steel Wing, Silver Brace, Ironhoof, and Strong Shield. The girls with our nation's trusted relics are the Bearers of the Elements of Harmony. My protégé and most trusted student, Twilight Sparkle. And these are her friends; Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Fluttershy." She pointed her hoof towards each mare indentifying them by name.
"A pleasure to meet you all. So, Princess Celestia, how did you end up here? Was it through that portal as I suspect?"
Celestia nods reluctantly. "Yes, you are correct. It was through my power and magic and the aid of a strange magical artifact from our world, that I, my closest and most-trusted guards, and my six ponies who carry our kingdom's trusted relics have come to the human world in order to give them peace and harmony. The artifact was found by a pony's ancestor a long time ago, before the founding of Equestria. And recently have we completed studies upon the artifact for more than a hundred years research, learning that it connected to a world where hairless monkeys we learned are called humans existed."
"And you have an interest in the human world?"
"Originally yes. While we were frightened at the destructive powers humans possess, they also at the same time have the ability to heal and create things. It was a fascinating study for our ponies. We hoped that we would grace humans with peace, and help end the wars, the bloodshed, and the hatred that seems to stem from the darker side of humanity."
Sekai nods slowly. "I see... Well, humans while true can be destructive, are also the most creative, capable of adapting to any kind of scenario presented to them. Humankind can adapt to anything. No matter what happens humans will find a way to survive from situations or scenarios that would lead them to a period of downfall or near-death, or something of an apocalyptic scenario. And when Earth a long time ago was visited by aliens from the stars, humans soon adapted, and became friends with the aliens especially when the first alien settlers that came to Earth brought with them the technology that humans learned to use, create, and adapt to."
The ponies were surprised to hear this.
"For awhile, after humans and aliens coexisted, peace WAS brought forth. Aliens help the humans create massive starships and humans left Earth to view their solar system, build human colonies on several moons of the Milky Way system, etcetera. In the late year of 2003, the Galactic Federation was born, and plans for humanity to expand past their solar system commenced, with human colonies built in other regions of space, and terraforming of planets. But even with the founding of our government, a race of other aliens emerged from the darkness of space and attacked. They are known today as the scourge of the universe, a collective race of aliens known simply as Space Pirates. The Space Pirates are a war-driven race of monsters that desire subjugation and destruction of all inferior races; either to be put through extinction, or enslaved."
Sekai played with his magic, as he told them this story, his magic animated various "cartoon-like" scenes.
"The first alien settlers, the Chozo, knew of the Space Pirates and helped the Federation develop weapons that would combat them. Thus war returned. Humans and aliens alike fought against the pirates ever since, until the year 2055, where some prophets among the universe like to call it fate having intervened. The galaxy's future hero was born. Her name was Samus Aran. She was orphaned as a child during a Space Pirate raid on her home colony of K-2L. Not much is known except by those that are lucky to call her a close friend, that Samus was adopted by the mysterious Chozo and taken to Zebes where she was infused with their DNA and raised to become a warrior."
Sekai dissolved his magic play.
"Samus grew up training to become the galaxy's protector. And protect us she did. She had a brief stint in the Galactic Federation Army when she was a teenager, under the command of a man named Adam Malkovich before leaving the military and setting off as a solitary bounty hunter, taking on missions that borderline suicide and completing them where others would either fail, or die trying. The battles in her adulthood were those of the impossible, of the unimaginable, and would make themselves felt in history. Three years ago, in the year 2075, Samus Aran took the fight to the Space Pirates after they raided the Federation and stole a creature that was discovered on Planet SR388, the Metroid, and brought it Planet Zebes, which had been transformed from a peaceful planet to that of an impenetrable fortress of evil. She destroyed the Space Pirate headquarters in Zebes, and destroyed the pirate's leader, Mother Brain, and was successful in ending the terror they brought... for a time."
Sekai takes his seat on the ground, cross-legged, as the ponies themselves were sitting on the metal ground trying to get as comfortable as they can. The guards remained vigilant though standing tall.
"But still, despite this major victory against the pirates, they're still a vicious force to be reckoned with. A year after that mission Samus undertook we met her on a mission of ours that crossed with hers, and earned her friendship in the end of our jointed bounty hunt of a criminal pirate named Ajax. When she left to track down a distress signal, we then discovered the existence of Phazon. Samus learned more of the source on Tallon IV. Today, the Galactic Federation was brought to light on the Phazon's existence, and the Space Pirates that were now using Phazon in their experiments to make them stronger. You see, the Space Pirates, much like humans, are adaptable to any situation. But unlike humans, the experiments they perform on themselves are that of nightmares. They will do anything to ensure they have more power that can be used to destroy the Federation, enslave or destroy the galaxy to rule, and kill Samus Aran as she has become their sworn nemesis for time and again stopping and destroying their ill-gotten works and planning's."
Crossing his arms over his chest, Sekai continues. "For humans and aliens alike, all desire peace in the galaxy, but as long as the Space Pirates continue their evil tyrannical ways, there will always be those who stand up and defend those who can't defend themselves. That's our history in an abridged nutshell. The longer version would take too long and we're likely at Galactic Federation Headquarters in a minute or two. So if you're still expecting to meet Chairman Keaton of the Galactic Federation to be human: He's not."
With that, Sekai stood up just as the intercom buzzed.
"Sekai, we're at Federation airspace. I'm hailing them now so we can get clearance to land."
"Roger that, Saito..."
He clasps his arms behind his head and lets out a sigh.
"First Phazon threats by the pirates, then King Sombra, and now ponies from another world... so troublesome today has become."
"Excuse me. Mr. Sekai?"
It was Twilight Sparkle that spoke up.
"Yes, Miss?"
"What about that other alien... Queen Chrysalis?"
"Judging by your tone, you know of another being that has a very similar name?"
They didn't answer, but the looks he received said all.
"Queen Chrysalis and the Changeling Race hail from a planet in the Lumina Region of the universe. They are humanoid magical shape shifters, although they can only take the form of flesh organisms, nothing mechanical in nature. About a year ago, I, Saito, and Lumine picked up a distress signal, magical in nature, and tracked it to Planet Chrysa. From there we learned of a dark magic-using king who calls himself Sombra. He had taken control of the Changelings' homeworld, enslaving the race and keeping Chrysalis's family hostage. Her parents were killed when they tried to fight back when she was a teenager, and only recently had gathered the power to send said distress beacon out."
The door swings open prompting the guards to tense up as Chrysalis walks into the hanger.
"Chrysalis here prayed for an answer from the stars and we blessed her with our appearance. After learning of her plight, we swore to help free her and her people from King Sombra's control, and ensure the destruction of his Dark Crystal Empire. After three months of fighting, we led a massive Resistance Force to the empire and took the fight to Sombra. I, Saito, and Lumine personally battled Sombra on the top of his castle, once in this physical plane of existence, and again when he tried to seal us in the Dark World where we finished him permanently and not only escaped the Dark World, but also escaped the destruction of his collapsing crystal empire. With him gone, the Changelings were free and we were hailed as heroes. It helped that the Patron Deity of the Moon, Nightmare Moon, blessed us with her powers to take the fight to Sombra."
"And our people will forever be in gratitude to you, Saito Hiraga, and Lumine Starr," said Queen Chrysalis, smiling brightly.
Sekai smiles warmly.
"Yeah. Of course..."
And the happy smiles faded away in a hurry. Chrysalis's own smile turned to that of an angry frown. "Yes... Sombra cheated death and has returned."
"I promise you Chrysalis... he will be stopped for good this time."
"And this time, I will not stand idly by and let him resume his destructive rampage. With the blessings of our Patron Deity of the Moon, I will aid you."
The ship jolted a bit, signaling Saito docked at the base, as the hanger doors were opening.
A Federation Marine was waiting calmly when the doors fully opened. Sekai steps out and salutes the soldier briefly.
"Welcome to the Galactic Federation, Sekai Jiraiya. You're at Docking Bay 4."
"Good. That way we don't get lost when we leave later."
A cheap attempt at humor. The Marine chuckles briefly.
"Saito Hiraga has informed base of what transpired at the Islands of Hawaii. We all detected a large burst of energy spikes coming from that region. I am sure this is something that will be brought up to the Chairman and the Federation Council."
"Yeah. Originally, we're escorting Queen Chrysalis here to the Federation, so she can officially join the galactic communities. Then the crap at Hawaii happened... and now we got more extra guests."
The Marine behind his helmet's visor blinks, seeing multi-colored ponies walking out of the ship. Some had wings, other had unicorn horns. The tallest one with the wavy "in-the-breeze" colorful hair had both wings and a horn.
"This is a lot of metal," one of the ponies spoke. The mare with the white coat and purple mane looked a bit... distressed at the "drab colors" around her. "This place could use more color..."
"Uh... am I hallucinating?"
"Colorful ponies that can speak the human language, and for those with horns, can use a crude form of spirit artes, yes. You are not hallucinating, soldier."
The marine shakes his head, but remains calm in this odd situation. "Okay. I can tell just wanting to know will be troublesome. Colonel Hiraga was notified of his son's arrival and he'll join you shortly to escort your entourage to the Federation Main Base."
"Of course, soldier. Carry on with your duty."
With a salute, the marine left them to their business.
"Hey Saito, you know your dad's here right?"
"Likely called with others of high ranks regarding the Phazon Threats," answered Saito.
"And that would be correct, son."
The footfalls came from a tall imposing man with trimmed slickened dark hair with some grays along the sides. This was Fugaku Hiraga, Saito's father.
"Hey dad."
Father and son share a family moment/hug.
"We meet again, Jiraiya," another voice cuts in.
Sekai knew that voice. Looking over, another taller being was walking up to them with heavier footfalls encased in ice blue armoring and trailing with ice crystal vapors. The tall unidentifiable alien has the pony guards take defensive positions in front of their princess, and the girls to stare in awe and some in light fear of the strange creature walking on two legs. Sekai was always referred by his last name by this particular bounty hunter.
"Rundas. Yes, it has been awhile since we last met. Only six months since we ran into one another on that desert moon..."
Rundas is his face was seen would be smirking here at this point. But you can tell the Phrygisian was invisibly grinning with a smug attitude.
"I was here dropping off a recent successful bounty. An enemy of the Galactic Federation tried to sell secrets to its enemies. I caught him and took residence on the G.F.S. KAITO-3 until we reached Federation Base on Earth. The man's head is a high profile target and the mission was to bring him directly to the main headquarters instead of a Federation Outpost in the universe once captured. I would like to keep his head as a trophy... but well... you know the rules. Besides, this guy was a real prick."
"Who?"
"Leon Schindler."
Sekai hissed at the name. Many a hunter whom has ever come across the man known as Leon Schindler would curse his name black and blue with hate. The man was a crafty snake of the galaxy, often betraying those he teams up with when the situation calls for a "strategic retreat" that often left his former allies either in a stranded situation, or dead.
"It was only a matter of time before that man pissed off the Galactic Federation. I only wish it was us who captured that asshat."
Rundas laughed. "Well, finders keepers on the bounty, Jiraiya."
"Lucky bastard. I hope you at least iced him."
"He previously had a serious case of blue balls, if you catch the hidden meaning."
Sekai laughed. "Nice, Rundas, nice."
"Well, enough talk of the asshat," said Fugaku. Yes, even Fugaku has heard of the asshat named Leon Schindler.
"Yeah. Nice capture of Schindler, Rundas," said Saito to Rundas, who merely waves off the compliments.
"A lot of crazy stuff happening with you and your friends son, I take it?"
"Yeah dad," Saito answers, "lots of crazy stuff."
"Well, if you and your company will follow me. I'll take you to the surface. The scenery of the city from here is very beautiful at night."
And it WAS a beautiful sight, at least for the pony visitors from another world. But it was also awe-inspiring to them. For the others it was just normal scenery when they visit the Earth, and thus nothing different was amiss. For Princess Celestia however, her original intention when visiting the human world was now off-track, since learning that humanity has evolved beyond their home world; traveling the stars themselves amongst alien races and everything.
The ponies stopped after minutes of traveling through strange corridors after entering a large building made of steel and glass. They were at some sort of check point if the humans in white hazmat outfits were any indication. A plastic knock indicated Klaus ran into the wall. Yes, he was still in his water hamster ball, and had followed everybody. Hey, he's a human in the body of an alien fish...
"I'm sorry if it's rude, but standard procedure for all visiting the Galactic Federation is a bioscan of your entirety to ensure nothing harmful gets passed through the borders," Fugaku explained.
Princess Celestia did not mind; they were simply cautious. It was likely a rule of their government, too.
"Of course."
"Oh, and Princess Celestia, even if they are your guards, normally they won't be allowed to carry weapons such as spears." He got no attention from the guards; they were almost like statues with how rigid their poses were. "However, as you are visitors you have diplomatic law for personal protection. Just promise they won't do anything harmful."
"They will not act unless I say so. They are dutiful and loyal soldiers to the kingdom," she replied.
Sekai nods. "Thanks. The bioscan won't hurt. It's harmless, and relatively quick."
Saito demonstrated by going through the procedure. As he stood in the small cubed room, lights emerged and line-scanned his entire body under a luminous blue hue.
"All biosigns normal. Registered Weapon: Derflinger the Devourer of Magi. Scans Green. You're free to pass, Mister Hiraga."
Saito left the chamber through the other side. Rundus went next, deciding to stick around; the colorful ponies interested him for some reason. He went through with no trouble, followed by Lumine, then Fugaku (again), then Sekai.
As this went on, Celestia was thinking back to her plans. You see, her original plan was as she had told the Prince Sekai Jiraiya: offer friendship and help the human world curb the war-like tenancies, and end the bloodshed and hate. But with humans spread far beyond just their planet, settling on other planets and moons and stars, coexisting with various different alien races yet indentified by names, this was going to be much more difficult, even when she decides whether or not to mention her idea of setting up Conversion Bureaus to entice humans of accepting their peaceful ways of pony life...
This world's Queen Chrysalis exited the chamber, given the green light. Next was the fish in the water ball. It was amazing to the ponies no human blinked at a FISH of all things entering their chamber thingy.
"Bioscan complete: Signs normal. Scans are green. You may precede, Klaus Haussler."
The fish in the ball rolls out of the chamber when the other door swings open.
"You're next, madam," said one of the suited humans. One of the others in the suits weren't human, as they had four arms instead of two and on bird-like hind legs. The four-armed female alien typed away on the console's keyboard as Celestia went inside with no hesitation. The other guards followed their princess, and Twilight and her friends followed their princess.
Another thing that bothered Celestia: three names known in Equestria (Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra, Nightmare Moon) having vastly different counterparts/history in this world...
"Please remain still as we conduct the scans," the alien woman tells the group, as the scans begun.
...
...
...
...
...
Beep-beep-beep!
"Multiple signatures detected. Orange Light."
"What is it?" questions Fugaku.
"Its energy signatures, Colonel," one of the other technicians said. "It's coming from those tacky ornaments six of the creatures are wearing, sir. And of course the weapons are detected from the armored creatures... crude-looking spears."
"Tacky?" Applejack muttered aloud.
Celestia didn't know whether or not they were insulted.
"Let me check from the monitor here," Sekai requests.
One of the technicians was given the okay and data was sent to an outside monitor. Sekai studied the detection scans. While magic existed, yes, it's a force the Federation hardly dealt with. Before the Chozo had vanished from the galaxy, they were the shamans of magic. Few other alien races dealt with the arcane arts like the Chozo had, Sekai's formerly-existed race included.
"It's alright, sirs. Those ornamental necklaces and tiara are magical in nature. I recognize the strand of the spectrum the signatures give off. I'm sure the princess can clarify."
Celestia answers. "Yes, they are the Elements of Harmony, the greatest magic known to ponydom."
Sekai nods. "Besides, my Chozo Staff is that of a mature artifact. Is everything else okay in the scan, however?"
"Yes, sir. No viruses or strands of dangerous germs. They are clean of any contamination."
Sekai nods. "Then let them through. I'm a magical expert in any manner."
"Very well, prince."
One of the technicians at the computer types away and the scans were given the okay. The other door swings open allowing the ponies to exit.
"That took longer than normal," Rainbow Dash stated, taking flight into the air. She didn't like having to stand still as those line lights ran all over their bodies.
"We always have to be careful. Sometimes Space Pirate spies tend to infiltrate the Galactic Federation just to do damage from within."
Celestia just stayed quiet, as she and her entourage are brought further into the humans' large building. She was hoping their trek ended. Whoever this Chairman Keaton was, Celestia hoped Sekai was just joking. Like an alien could be in charge of what looks like a huge government for humankind...
FIVE MINUTES LATER...
Princess Celestia stared at the short squat-looking ALIEN in the brown robes and wearing a crude version of a suit and shirt with red bow-tie. He had gangly-looking greenish brown skin, with various wrinkles here and there, a wide mouth that took most space of his short head, and he had two eyes that stood on short eye stalks.
"Colonel Fugaku... I see your son has come and visit us," said Chairman Keaton.
"It's in regards to the interruptions of the energy spikes the Galactic Federation had detected during the meeting regarding the upcoming Phazon Crisis," Fugaku answered.
"Chairman Keaton, sir." Saito nods in politeness to the squat alien. "Originally, my crew was escorting a VIP to the Galactic Federation, in hopes that she and her people can finally join the galactic communities and give tribute and help to the Federation when it comes to our common enemy, the Space Pirates. Sir, meet Queen Chrysalis. She is the royal leader of her race, known as Changelings."
"It is an honor to meet you in person, Chairman Keaton," Chrysalis bows in a feminine manner.
Keaton smiles kindly. "A pleasure to meet you, your highness. And who are the... equines that stand behind you, Mister Hiraga?"
"Well... it's in regards to the energy spikes. When we arrived to Earth we picked up the energy spikes relating to magic. We traveled when a secondary burst of magic was detected, this time one of darkness. Then an old enemy that once had Chrysalis's planet enslaved had apparently returned back from the dead. We fought the dark crystal sorcerer, King Sombra, but he decided to unleash all of his power. We forced the ponies into the gunship as we escaped the crystallization zone. Hawaii is crystallized, sadly, and also behind a powerful force field of magic."
"I spoke with them as we flew to the Federation," Sekai picks up the tale. "The regal winged unicorn is Princess Celestia. She is apparently a co-ruler of her home world called Equestria. They are talking ponies, to be blunt. The ones with the unicorn horns can use magic like I can... albeit different from my race's branch of spirit artes. They came to this world through a branch of light-attuned spirit artes, but apparently their beacon of light magic attracted the dead soul of King Sombra... and he had returned to the world of the living through the fusion of darkness and light."
"Hm. I see. Well, while we can get into discussion about our two royal visitors from different worlds, our meeting regarding the Phazon Crisis will resume shortly. Afterward, however, I will bring you both to attention with the council. I hope you do not mind waiting quietly off to the side?"
"No Chairman," Chrysalis answers. "Please, I have heard much of this Phazon, and I too am worried about how dangerous this substance could be to the universe at large. I can wait until the end of the meeting."
Princess Celestia just nodded her head once, folding her wings inward. Many of the words were foreign to her, and she never heard of this thing called Phazon, but judging by the tones regarding the word, it was anything but good.
As the Council of the Galactic Federation poured back into the chamber hall, the ponies stood away in one corner, while Saito and company decided to sit around Fugaku and the other high-ranking military soldiers of the Marines and Army. Many of the council, both human and alien in origin, noted the ponies that were in the room but kept silent as they sat down in their assigned seats.
Clearly, the human world is much bigger than we had anticipated, Celestia thought, seeing the various unknown alien faces of various models and creation. This will be tough to begin when I am given my spotlight...
Hopefully, at least to Celestia's sake, her greetings do not agitate the panel of humans and aliens she was seeing sitting on their rows of elevated seats, and the apparent "leader" of Earth. So much study to the human world and many theories and speculations surrounding this world were completely demolished upon seeing things vastly different than what the artifact (originally) showed them.
Why couldn't simple plans remain simple?
Saito Hiraga is a character from Familiar of Zero. That also includes Derflinger. This version of Saito comes from another Metroid crossover I wrote entitled The Familiar of Zero Mission. And along with Saito are my OCs Sekai Jiraiya and Lumine Starr, whom in said story mentioned arrive in Halkeginia and thus all sorts of chaos happen with their arrival. I'm also borrowing elements from that Metroid/Familiar of Zero crossover story's background for this massive oneshot. I should go back to that fic and edit the plot to update species names and languages...
Another cameo crossover blends F-Zero and Captain Falcon, with the F-Zero races being the NASCAR of the Metroid universe. And finally, I took Nightmare Moon, Queen Chrysalis, and King Sombra, and gave them Metroid backgrounds and altered history opposed to their pony counterparts and then blended the Conversion Bureau oneshot stories I have read lately into this My Little Pony oneshot. The final mixing bowl we got here is the ponies coming to a human world that has spread across various different planets and galaxy regions in the universe...
Some side additional ingredients are using the Long Dau language (Japanese, not English) from Tales of Xillia as the native spells language for my OC Sekai Jiraiya...
Does Princess Celestia eventually get her Conversion Plot going even after learning humans are not alone in the universe and are so far spread out, or will this fail, especially in light of the upcoming wars with the Pirates' use of Phazon, and the return of King Sombra the dark crystal alien sorcerer? If I feel like writing a response to this oneshot, I will...
FINALLY: I should point out I'll take requests from reviewers or readers who want me to write something for them, much like I would ask for my other collection stories of Bleach, Naruto, and Harry Potter. Just keep in mind that anything related to clop will be done but likely on AdultFanFiction instead of here...
