Chapter 19: Aftermath Part 1

Summary: Following a full check up with Nurse Redheart, Applejack takes Baby Harry to see his friends at school before taking him to Canterlot with the girls.

"Oose a cutie wutie wittle awicorn baby? You are. Yes you are." Nurse Redheart cooed to the infant alicorn who was giggling as she tickled his tummy. She then turned to Applejack and Time Turner who was there to support the two as hopefully in the future they would be his wife and son.

"So how is he Nurse?" Applejack asked. "Anything wrong?"

"Other than the fact that he is the cutest little baby alicorn I've ever SEEN. Well...he's the only baby alicorn I've ever seen but still." The Nurse then cleared her throat. "He's in perfect health. Aside from the scars."

"Scars?" Applejack asked.

"He still has his scar from Chrysalis. Look. Come on baby. Open your tummy to mommy." Nurse Redheart cooed above Harry who giggled again and showed his little tummy. Indeed, there was the oddly shapen X figure across his small chest.

"Do you think he still remembers things from the present?" Time Turner asked.

"Well, there's one way to find out. Most baby's I've shown pictures of Changelings too are curious and try to eat the picture thinking it is food." The Nurse brought a picture of a changeling around. Then showed it too Harry.

He started crying in terror. Luckily the table was reincorced with a barrier so he baby's couldn't fall while the Nurse was away from them. He clawed at the barrier trying to get away from the scary bug thing.

"There there sugarcube." Applejack rushed to baby Harry's side and cuddled him as he hid in her chest from the scary picture.

"I guess that answers that question." Redheart hastily put the picture away as the baby shuddered. She suddenly showed him a watermelon lollipop and he squealed with delight as she put it in his mouth and he started suckling on it.

"If you wish to test things further with this I don't recommend scary things." Nurse Redheart told Applejack. "Try to show him friends and family. Birthdays, Hearths Warming Eves, things like that. I don't know If he'll return to his normal age, or age naturally from here on out. I'd consult Princess Celestia or Luna on that." The nurse told Applejack.

"Thank ya Nurse Redheart." Applejack said as Time Turner put Harry in the baby carrier on her chest.

"Bring the little cutie back anytime!" Redheart waved them as they left the hospital.

"So what are ya gonna do AJ?" Time Turner asked

"Take him to his grandma. Maybe she can help." Applejack said. "I'm gonna round up the girls and leave tomorrow morning. I think I'll go show his class why he's not there though.

"All right, I love you Apple Sweet."

"I love you Timey Wimey." Applejack said as the brown coated stallion put his muzzle to hers.

Harry's Mind...

This sucks. The 9 turned 1 year old pouted in his mind as he suckled on his lolly. "I've got the mind of a 9 year old but the emotions and skills of an infant and...Are they seriously doing THAT above ME? Baby Harry pulled out his lolly and pouted angrily. He phlegmed and spat at Time Turner.

"What the-?" The two broke apart as Time Turner felt the loogie hock.

Baby Harry was sucking on his lolly glaring at Time Turner.

Applejack laughed. "I guess he still don't like that."

Don't mess with my momma. Especially not in front of ME! Baby Harry glared up at Time Turner.

"See ya later babe." Time Turner gave her a kiss on the cheek and left the two, chuckling as he walked back to his workshop.

"Come on sugarcube, let's go see yer little friends huh?"

Yay!

Baby Harry squealed happily as he finished his lolly and Applejack popped the paper stick in the trash.

At the schoolhouse, the lesson was interrupted by a knock on the double door. Miss Cheerilee stopped the lesson. "Oh hello Applejack, come to get Harry's homework?" She asked figuring he would be absent for a while recovering from the Nightmare Spectre Incident as it was now known in Ponyville.

"No Miss Cheerilee, I just brought somepony by to see everyone." Applejack said.

"She actually brought him? Why?" Sweetie Belle asked. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo knew about Harry's situation.

"Well then come on in-" She gasped. "Oh you are so adorable!" She cooed at somepony that the students couldn't see. "Whose a cutie baby alicorn?" Cherilee cooed and the students heard a baby's giggling.

"No way." Snails said.

"This I gotta see!" Snips said and the students rushed to the door.

"All right everypony stay back so Applejack can bring him in."

The students stepped back to give Applejack some room as Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon shoved their way front. "Move it! We wanna see the baby!"

The students gasped too as they saw him. There was only one pony they all knew with that coat and Mane.

"No way! Peppermint Twist gasped.

"How is that possible?" A random student asked.

"CUTIE!" Said one female foal.

I don't know these ponies...Baby Harry thought with increased worry Why did Mommy bring me here? I'm scared! Baby Harry started tearing up.

"Stop crowding him!" Came a somewhat familiar voice to Baby Harry. An Earth Pony and Pegasus colt pushed the students back to give their friend some room.

Baby Harry made noises reaching for Featherweight and Shady Daze. I know them! I know I know those ponies! But how? Why can't I remember?

"Aww, he remembers you two lil fellas." Applejack cooed at her infant son trying to get to Featherweight and Shady Daze.

Baby's Harry's eyes widened. I'm losing my memory, the longer I'm a baby.

Baby Harry started to cry. Most thinking it was because he couldn't reach Featherweight and Shady Daze
