Author's Note: This is a non-profit fanfiction made for the sole purpose of doing something fun about one of my favorite characters in the Mass Effect series. Harbinger and Shepard belong to BioWare and My Little Pony belongs to Hasbro. Enjoy.

Chapter 3: The One Question

Location: Equestria, Ponyville, Ponyville Library

Time: One hour and fifteen minutes post Arrival

Harbinger: Families are a social phenomenon characteristic to organics, we do not have these 'families' amongst our members.

Rainbow Dash: But how do you make kids then?

All the females blushed at the question, while Rarity also admonished the rainbow Pegasus.

Rarity: *indignated* Rainbow Dash, it very unladylike to ask such questions.

Rainbow Dash: Hey chill out, I'm just asking. Besides how do you think they do it?

Everyone in the room started thinking.

[Twilight Sparkle's Mind]

Twilight is shown standing in the kitchen, while wearing a pink apron, with a large cookbook. The unicorn is preparing something delicious from the said book. The sound of the doorbell is heard.

Twilight: Spike, can you open the door?

Spike: On it.

Spike who is now slightly older and bigger goes up to the door, but before he can reach it, the door opens. In comes, Harbinger wearing a crimson checkered polo vest with the "Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns" insignia and a white dress-shirt underneath. He greets Spike and gives him his briefcase. At the same moment Twilight comes out of the kitchen, she smiles at Harbinger.

Twilight: How was work today, dear?

Harbinger: It was quite exhausting, training those unicorns physically is the hardest part of all the work. But they are showing great potential.

Twilight: *sly grin* With you who wouldn't show great potential, and I have just the reward for hard-working stallions. *points toward the second floor with her eyes*

Harbinger: *smirks (Because he now has a mouth, albeit not the prettiest}* I'm looking forward to it.

The two start to lean their muzzles closer, until Spike says.

Spike: Get a room you two.

Twilight then snaps back to reality and blushes furiously at her thoughts.

[Rarity's Mind]

A door is shown from inside a dark apartment room. The sound of a lock opening is heard and the door opens. Inside comes Rarity wearing a plain black dress with her hair in an updo hairstyle. Following her comes Harbinger wearing a crimson tuxedo with a white undershirt and a white rose in his front pocket. Both are chuckling obviously from a lovely evening and from being quite…tipsy. Harbinger sits down on the large bed.

Rarity: If you will, excuse me Harby, I have to freshen myself up.

The Reaper just smiles suggestively as the white unicorn goes into the bathroom. She emerges a few minutes later wearing only a pink towel (that's actually a lot to wear for a pony). Rarity walks up to Harbinger, who has now discarded his clothing, swaying her flanks sexily on her way to the bed.

Rarity: *in a sultry voice* We're alone, in an apartment, just the two of us.

Harbinger: *with a sly grin* Are you suggesting something?

Rarity: Oh, I'm suggesting lots of things.

Rarity pushes Harbinger down on the bed before climbing on top of him and …

The unicorn shakes off her unladylike thoughts, but chuckles at the idea nonetheless.

[Rainbow Dash's Mind]

Rainbow Dash is shown flying through the sky enjoying the warmth of the sun. She lands on a nearby mountain and looks around.

Rainbow Dash: Where is he? We were supposed to meet at noon.

Harbinger: Were you looking for someone in particular?

Rainbow Dash turns around and sees Harbinger relaxing on a large rock, grinning at her. She smiles back, but then her gaze turns into a challenging one. Both of them suddenly take flight. They start to move at high speed trying to outfly the other. They make a pass over Ponyville, when Dash suddenly hits a cloud with her wing, sending her in an uncontrollable corkscrew. Harbinger notices this and rushes down to save her. The distance between the is quite large and the Reaper uses his wings to fly faster. A vapor cone starts to form around Harbinger's body and he suddenly does a Sonic Rainboom, or in his case a Sonic Flameboom. He finally reaches the falling pegasus and catches her meters from the ground. Rainbow Dash opens her eyes, which she kept closed in fear and sees her savior. She leans closer and kisses his cheek.

Rainbow Dash: My hero! *Harbinger blushes (wait, how?)* I guess someone as cool as you deserves a reward from someone cooler like me. *leans towards his ears and whispers* Do you think we could do IT during a Sonic Rainboom?

Harbinger:*smirks* Is that a challenge?

From Ponyville, everypony could see a sight never seen before. A Sonic Rainboom, but unlike the normal one this was was laced with large flames, and also unlike the normal Rainboom, everyone could her the naughty sounds of Rainbow Dash's org…

Rainbow Dash suddenly clears her head and dismisses the idea. Harbinger would have to be 20% cooler to get a round with her.

[Applejack's Mind]

Applejack is seen at Sweet Apple Acres bucking some apple trees causing the apples to fall neatly into baskets below. She rubs the sweat of her forehead with a hoof, sighing from exhaustion. She looks into the distance. We can see Big Macintosh, her older brother carrying a barrel full of apple cider towards the cellar. Granny Smith, her grandmother is seen rocking on a chair knitting something. Applebloom, her younger sister is seen playing with her two friends Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle. Applejack sits down to relax.

Applejack: Darn, ah' could sure use sum' a nice cup o' apple juice.

Almost like Celestia listened to her prayers, Applejack yelps as a large amount of apple juice drops onto her from above, soaking her in sticky liquid. She angrily looks up to see Harbinger in the air holding an empty barrel. He smiles innocently as he tries to fly away, but is stopped by a lasso tied around his waist.

Applejack: Not so fast ya pesky varmin'.

She yanks the lasso a little to hard causing Harbinger to drop out of the air and fall right on top of her. Applejack having come out of her daze looked up to see the pony Reaper and blushed. Harbinger notices this and with a big grin licks Applejack's neck. She moans at the touch.

Harbinger: I think somepony needs a bath. But you taste to sweet to let it go to waste. Do you need my help with the bath?

Applejack smiles at him wrapping her hooves around his neck.

Applejack: Ah think we're gonna' need to take this someplace else *wink* partner.

The orange mare returned from the 'daydream' and kicked herself mentally for having such thoughts about somereaper like Harbinger.

[Fluttershy's Mind]

Fluttershy is shown in front of her house feeding some ducklings. The baby ducks quack happily at the yellow Pegasus, who returns them a smile. Fluttershy looks towards the chicken coop, there are some loud bangs and booms coming from inside and moments later Harbinger runs out being chased by angry chickens.

Harbinger: Ahhhh, get them off me!

Fluttershy chuckles at the Reaper, but she is suddenly surprised when Harbinger blindly runs into her causing both of them to roll down a hill (which Celestia must have conjured just for such occasions). The finally stop at the base of the convenient hill, with Harbinger being on top of Fluttershy.

Fluttershy returns to the real world being unable to continue such an embarrassing line of thoughts.

And finally…

[Harbinger's Mind]

Harbinger is seen standing in a dark room reviewing some holograms. He presses a few buttons and turns towards the back of the room. There are five glass pods filled with some white steam. With a press of the button the steam clears revealing Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy who are all unconscious. Everyone the begin to stir and finally they wake up. They look down at Harbinger with confused eyes.

Twilight: Harbinger what's going on?

Harbinger: Why, you are going to transcend into a new form and become the ultimate pony being.

Rarity: Then why are we here in these dirty glass things?

Harbinger: I need to extract only what is useful, the rest does not matter.

The Reaper presses another button causing the pods to vent an unknown gas into the pods. The five mares begin to panic.

Rainbow Dash: C'mon Harby, this isn't funny.

Harbinger looks obviously not pleased with the nickname.

Harbinger: *slightly angry* It seems that you will be the first one to transcend Pegasus.

The pod then starts to vent even more gas when Rainbow Dash suddenly starts to melt, she screams in horror and pain, trying to escape from the pod. The other four mares watch shocked as the Pegasus finally melts into a puddle of gray liquid. The ponies start to panic and hit the walls of the pod. But they are silenced when the same fate befalls them as Rainbow Dash. Harbinger now walks up to a window, and looks out into a large chamber with walls covered in pods that are filled with various ponies. The Reaper watches with pride as many ponies are turned into the same liquid and pumped into a Pony-Reaper larva that is undergoing construction.

The Reaper snaps back to reality and sees the five mares looking towards him as if expecting an answer.

Harbinger: Let us not delve into that territory.

Codex: Shepard

The Reaper known as Shepard is the AI form of the human formerly know as Commander John Shepard. The Commander became a Reaper in the aftermath of the Battle upon Earth when he used a super-weapon known as "The Crucible" to take control of the Reapers. Shepard now hold the title of the leader of the Reaper Armada, a title which once belonged to Harbinger. With the help of the newly acquired army the Commander rebuilt the Reaper super-structures known as Mass Relays and has currently retreated the Armada back into the Dark Space, awaiting any signs of trouble that may befall the galaxy.

Author's Note: This chapter was so goddarn funny to write, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. And no, this does in no way mean that Harbinger is gonna' have a harem. Harbinger doesn't give a flying feather about relationships with organics. Even if the Mane 6 ( or Mane 5 for now) do show some affection, he will not return it.
