Chapter 17:Can It Mix?

"Are you sure they're here?" BLU Engineer asked, giving a questionable look.

"I'm Positive." Ginger simply stated. They had been receiving many looks from Ponyville Residents, but none dared to look back. Soldier would sometimes return the glare. They had walked another 3 feet when a familiar sound stopped them dead in their tracks.

"That's close enough." The sound of the bowstring on Sniper's huntsman being pulled froze the BLU's cold. Not that they were scared of it, but the fact they didn't have their weapons, or couldn't use them for a better term. Ginger softly stepped forward.

"You are the RED Sniper, am I right?" she asked, keeping her tone soft. Sniper kept his aim steady.

"Yeah, mind telling' me who you are?" RED Sniper asked.

"I am Ginger, and I believe you recognize the ponies that accompany me." she calmly replied. Sniper kept steady.

"Somewhat." He muttered. "obviously a little different than when I last saw them."

"Obviously," Ginger chuckled. "So where are the others? I know they're hiding." Sniper kept his aim.

"Alright mates." Sniper called out. One by one, the other REDs stepped out of their hiding spots, weapons aimed. Ginger raised an eyebrow, Sniper doing the same.

"And?" Ginger asked. Sniper mumbled.

"Girls." he said. The ponies came out, Rainbow Dash, Rainbow Lily, and Fluttershy landing from the sky, the others coming out from under the bridge Sniper was standing in front of. Twilight looked Ginger over, Ginger returning the look.

"What? Never seen an Alicorn before?" she joked.

"I'm pretty sure you know that answer as well as I do." Twilight replied. Things were still pretty tense, until BLU Pyro and RED Pyro connected "eyes"

"Mmph mmph?" BLU Pyro asked.

"hudda hmph, Mmph hudda hudda!" RED Pyro replied. The two talked some more, the others looking in confusion, and they were baffled even more when BLU Pyro hopped into RED Pyro's arms, the two hugging. BLU Scout was by RED Spy.

"Are they…." Scout trailed off.

"I believe so." Spy said.

"So, The administration says BLU has won because we "had an unscheduled departure"?" Engineer asked.

"Eyup." Engineer replied.

"What about RED itself?" Scout asked.

"Shut down. BLU has as well." Sniper replied.

"What about our families? What they tell them?" Spy asked.

"I'm afraid zhat is unknown." Medic answered.

"WAIT! HOW ARE WE SUPPOSE TO TELL WHO IS SAYING WHAT AND WHO IS RED AND WHO IS BLU?!" Pinkie suddenly burst out. Her chest was puffing due to her breathing hard. Everyone else looked at her as if she had just gone crazy, Which was pretty normal.

"Just saying!" Pinkie then happily said, bouncing into the kitchen. They were all sitting around in the Cakes bakery. Ginger and the girls had gotten along well, but for BLU and RED…meh.

"Well, they're getting along well, aren't they?" Twilight sarcastically said.

"Hey, at least they're not killing each other, right?" Ginger chuckled.

Both Scouts were arm wrestling, which was visually awkward considering BLU were now pony form. RED Soldier and BLU Demoman were giving each other glares, just waiting for the other to say something. RED Spy and BLU Spy were technically the most talkative, having a conversation with facial expressions. Both Snipers were simply staring each other down.

"So, um, what did you guys do after the companies shut down?" RED Scout asked.

"Well, for a short time we had to fight these robot guys created by some "hidden brother" named Gray Mann. We fought for a little while, but he backed off. We were just lazing around until we finally decided to try to figure out what happened." BLU Scout replied. RED Scout then got a good grip and slammed BLU's hoof into the table, BLU Scout cursing at his defeat.

"That's where I stepped in." Ginger spoke out.

"Yeah, her and Merasmus teleported us here." BLU Soldier added.

"Merasmus? How the hell did you get him to talk to you?" RED Soldier asked, the slightest bit shocked.

"It was you who was his roommate, not me," BLU Soldier chuckled. RED Soldier steamed a little, but he knew he had to blow it off. He could beat the BLU's ass again once this was all over and they went back to their world.

If they ever got to go back.

If they wanted to.

This place would seem like a peaceful place to live, especially compared to their line of "work". Soldier pushed it to the back of his mind, that question would be answered when it came.

"So, like I was saying earlier, the REDs cannot return to their rightful world until they have completed a certain task." Ginger reported. RED Sniper had a thoughtful look on his face.

"Well, it obviously has to deal with that Shadow Stallion wanka." He said, rubbing his chin.

"Yeah, but what about that tall ass thing it was with?" RED Scout asked.

"We probably have to deal with him as well lads." RED Demoman stated.

"Wait wait wait, wasn't he in a game or something?" BLU Scout asked.

"It was an urban legend. You know, just to scare little children." BLU Sniper replied.

"Obviously tall man is no legend." RED Heavy said.

"So we have to destroy these two you speak of," Ginger stated, putting a hoof to her chin, thinking. "What does this "Shadow Stallion do?"

"Well," RED Engineer started, "You never know. It's constantly moving, and attacks random targets. We have never found out a pure reason behind each attack other than that they were trying to destroy us." adjusting his goggles as he spoke. Ginger nodded.

"Well, that's not very helpful, now is it?" Ginger rhetorically asked.

"I guess for now, we have to arrange for you and the BLU's housing areas, and get them use to the lay of the land." Twilight suggested.

"Indeed so, It has been a quite while since I had last come to this place." Ginger said. And with that, everyone went their own ways.

RED Sniper was walking with BLU Spy, telling him the lay of the land, but also trying to make a potential alliance between them. For the time being, that is.

"So you see, Twilight's house a good view over most of the town and fields, making it a good sniping spot and a command post." Sniper told him. BLU Spy trotted along side, observing the area.

"Well I'm sure as you know I am not one to camp in one spot." Spy replied. "What about sleeping quarters?"

"Well, we are hoping Engineer could build us a potential base like the ones back home, but we're short on materials here. So the girls have been offering us their homes to stay in." Sniper explained.

"Very nice considering we're all cold blooded killers." Spy joked. Sniper couldn't help but chuckle himself.

"Yeah, but they're an alright group of Sheilas." Sniper replied. The two continued talking about the land and what to do in case another attack were to happen.

RED Soldier was on patrol in town, making sure nothing suspicious was going on. Ever since the changelings attacked them that one day, he had been on guard for them.

"Just like a damn Spy, those four legged bastards are." He muttered to himself. He eventually saw BLU Heavy, who joined him.

"What is tiny soldier man doing?" Heavy asked.

"Patrolling, son. We had some ponies attack that do the same damn things spies do." Soldier replied, looking around.

"Da, I see. And Soldier man crush little changing ponies?" Heavy asked.

"Damn straight." Soldier confirmed. The two kept walking through town, checking every area Soldier could think of in that questionable head of his.

"So you're saying the other humans have appeared here in pony form?" Shadow Stallion asked. The silent nod from Slenderman confirmed this.

"What do you suggest master?" Shadow Stallion then asked. Slenderman raised a fist and punched it into his open palm. A smile would have been seen on Shadow Stallions face if it could be seen.

"Right away…" he said with a dark chuckle. And with that Shadow Stallion trotted out, eyes glowing blood red.

A/N: Sorry for the short chapter and the long ass update times, this is pretty much just a small update. I've been busy with studying and spending time with family, and also work has been busy. But I will still update when possible and finish this story as well as my others.
