"So you've been here exactly how many times?" Scout asked Ginger.
"A couple of times, enough to know my way around," she replied.
"So, what do we do when we find the REDs? Just bring them back?" Sniper asked.
"Yep. That's the plan anyway," Soldier replied.
"I can't believe we're saving these guys!" Scout exclaimed.
"I don't think you believed we would be turned into ponies either, foolish boy." Spy commented, getting a slight smile when Scout steamed at his remark. Ginger couldn't help but let out a small giggle.
"Come on, we're almost there." she chuckled, pointing her hoof towards a small village, one that reminded the BLUs of the Degroot Castle area.
"So, if you take a mongoose and combine it with a honey badger, you get a Tasmanian devil!" Soldier exclaimed, slamming a fist into his other palm. Sniper was leaning back on his chair, hat over his eyes, legs and feet propped on the table.
"I'm telling you mate, that's not what you get." he calmly replied. Soldier scoffed.
"Then tell me Aussie boy, what do you get?!" Solder retorted. Sniper lifted his hat, adjusted his sunglasses, and looked soldier in the eye.
"Platypus." he tipped his hat back down over his eyes, Soldier slammed his fist into the table. Sniper wobbled a bit, but stayed calm and didn't move, not falling backward.
"TASMANIAN DEVIL DAMN IT!" Soldier bellowed. Applejack was sitting in the library with medic, scoffing at the two's argument.
"How long have they been goin' at it?" she asked. Medic looked at his watch.
"Well, if my calculations are correct, which zhey always are, it has been about… six minutes." Medic replied, adjusting his glasses. They had been at Twilights house, waiting for the princesses. Everything was calm until Soldier started talking about mixing animals together to get new species, Fluttershy just left the room at hearing their silly argument. Sniper, who was trying to sleep, simply replied calmly to everything, hoping he could get some shut eye.
"Is it always this bad in your world?" Applejack asked. Medic laughed.
"Oh, no mein fraulein, this is peaceful for us. It normally gets bad if it's soldier and Demoman." He said. He then looked up. "three…two… one."
Soldier, in anger, flipped the table Sniper was propped on, causing him to yell, "OI!" as he fell backwards and onto his back. Medic smiled.
"Ah, right on time, as always." he chuckled, sipping some tea he had made. Applejack chuckled a bit as well. Soldier and Sniper continued their argument until they heard the door open. They saw Twilight come in with the food she had promised to get from everyone.
"Straight from the Cake's bakery, they said it was a gift for protecting us all." Twilight said with a smile. The RED gathered around, splitting the food, trying to keep as polite as possible. This seemed easy for Sniper and Spy, they had to be calm like this before.
Flashback…
"I'm telling you mate, this won't work." Sniper said, fixing the bow tie on his red tuxedo. He had borrowed one from Spy, it fitting like a glove. He didn't like it, he like his clothes to be a little loose, enough to give his body parts breathing room, technically speaking of course.
"Oh, suck it up. If zhis supposed BLU operative is here, we have to stop her." Spy replied. The two walked up to a large set of doors, guarded by two men.
"Names?" one asked.
"Spy and Sniper" Spy answered. The guard checked a clipboard, which seemed extremely small in his large hands, and looked back at Spy.
"Right, You're on the list. Your seats are C-23 and C-24." the guard said.
"Thank you." Spy replied, the two walking in. they took their seats, looking at the stage.
"So what's this Muppet suppose to look like?" Sniper quietly asked Spy.
"She should be wearing a crimson red dress with a yellow outline, at least that's what our Intel said," Spy replied. They took their seats, and waited to spot the man they were looking for. The lights went dim, and two spotlights shone on the stage. An overly muscular and large man whose chest hair was cut to look like the country of Australia, his mustache sending a chill down Spy's spine.
"Right, Sorry about the wait, I had to go to Primate Hell to get the gorilla teeth for my backscratcher. It was damn worth the time to!" The large man grunted. "So anyway, You know who I am, and if you don't, you can take your hippie ass out of here! TIME FOR THE SAXY AWARDS!" the man then yelled his voice blowing some tables and unworthy maggots away. Sniper poured a glass of wine, waiting for the man they were looking for.
Nothing stopped Sniper from tagging his man. No obstacle, no element, no human being. The way they heard about this guy, he needed to be took down, and fast.
"I'm going to the southeast wing, make sure that headset of yours is working." Spy said. Sniper nodded and watched the room as Spy walked off. He hadn't mentioned it to Spy, But Sniper knew they were being watched. He noticed two men on the balcony, possibly armed with hidden weapons. He also noticed a man they saw earlier running a trading booth. The look he gave Sniper didn't give him a good vibe, and Sniper noted him reaching for a small black button, which would be hidden to the untrained eye.
Sniper knew for now that they had to keep calm.
"Sniper? You there?" Rainbow Dash asked. Sniper shook his head, shaking away the memory.
"Yeah, there a problem?" he asked.
"Well, if you consider you not eating a problem, then yeah." Dash chuckled. Sniper sighed and went back to eating the small piece of cake he had on a plate.
"So ye are telling us that we can't return immediatly with the REDs?" BLU Demoman asked Ginger.
"That's correct." Ginger replied. "Normally in the laws of accidental teleportation, if you are teleported to a certain place unintentionally, that means that dimension needs you for a purpose." Ginger explained.
"Oh, and who the hell came up with that?" BLU Scout asked.
"A very smart man. About 900 years old I think." Ginger replied, keeping her eyes forward as the slowly entered the town. They got many stares from the towns folk, one of them running off.
"Something tells me that our welcome isn't going to be very pleasant…" BLU engineer mumbled.
The girls were talking until they were interrupted by a rapid knocking on Twilight's door. Scout opened it, only to be knocked down by the news reporter Windy Writer.
"There are new ponies in town!" Windy exclaimed.
"What do you mean?" Medic asked him.
"They're you! But, not you!" Windy replied, looking at him. Medic adjusted his glasses.
"What do you mean like us but not like us?" Engineer asked. Windy got an idea, and got out a pencil and his notepad with his magic. He then began to draw, looking up at engineer once in a while. After about a minute, Windy used his magic the levitate the notepad up to Engineer's eyes. Engineer looked, scoffed, then took off his goggles, which he only did if it meant trouble.
He grabbed it, the other REDs looking at it, the reaction not being any different. They were looking at the image of a Pony, but it was blue, wearing a hardhat, goggles, and blue overalls with a wrench with a Sentry firing in the background as a cutie mark. Engineer looked up.
"Are you sure this is what he looked like?" Engineer asked, Windy nodding rapidly in response.
"And there is this Alicorn with them also!" Windy exclaimed. This shocked the girls. It seemed like just a second later, Rainbow Lily came flying in.
"Hey girls, you see those newcomers in town? There is this orange and red one that keeps asking for you guys." She said, pointing a hoof at the RED team.
"How can this be?" Heavy asked, rubbing his chin.
"I don't know big fella, but this could mean trouble." Soldier grunted, putting his helmet on, grabbing his shovel.
