Epilogue

One week had passed since the D-Reaper had been defeated by the Guardian of Equestria's Magun. Surprisingly enough Ponyville was rebuilt in that short time frame. Immediately after defeating the D-Reaper, and after Fluttershy had let him go, Takuma had flown to Canterlot to tell the Princesses the news. They congratulated their guardian for a job well done. They had decided to have the coordination ceremony in one week so everypony could prepare...After all Takuma had something in mind, if he were to become the Guardian of Equestria and he needed to show the Equestrian way, then he needed a group of friends to help him in his new job. He had the perfect idea on who. Right now he was at Rarity's being measured for his coordination outfit. There was a knock at the door and Sweetie Bell answers "Yes, who is it?"
"It's Rika, Sweetie Bell" Rika answered "I just came from Earth because Takuma called me earlier wanting to discuss something with me."

"Oh!" Sweetie Bell said "Hold on there, I'll inform him then let you in."

"Okay" Rika admitted "Take your time."

Sweetie Bell ran off finding Takuma whom was still being measured by Rarity whom spoke to him "Stop struggling Takuma, let me get a good measurement in so the outfit fits you completely."

"Sorry Rarity" Takuma apologized to her trying to stop struggling.

Sweetie Bell then spoke "Takuma! Rika's here."

Takuma nods to Goldmon his partner whom himself was waiting to get a suit to speak for him. Goldmon nods back turning to Sweetie Bell "Thanks Sweetie Bell, allow her and Renamon in."

"Got it" Sweetie Bell said quickly retreating back to the front door, she then used her magic to open the door allowing Rika in "Our first ever Guardian will see you and Renamon now Rika and Renamon."

Rika smiled as Renamon dropped down at her side "Thanks Sweetie Bell."

Rika and Renamon entered Rarity's shop then walked over to Takuma. Renamon waits alongside Goldmon then spoke "So what's this about?"

Goldmon had adopted Terriermon's playful nature voice "You'll see. Don't want to spoil too much, but I'll say it's a good one."

Rika watches Rarity take a successful measurement on Takuma before speaking "So what did you want to speak to me about?"

Takuma turned to Rarity "Are you done measuring me?"
"I am darling" Rarity acknowledged him "Now just got to get the outfit."

Takuma nods "Could you take Sweetie Bell with you while getting it, I'd like to speak to Rika and Renamon in private."

Rarity agreed "Very well but Sweetie and I won't be gone for long, come on Sweetie, you can help me carry the outfit."

"Coming!" Sweetie Bell shouts following her sister.

When the two had left Rika blinks "You aren't cheating on Fluttershy now are you?"

"Me cheat on my Fluttershy?" Takuma asked in a sort of demanding tone "I'd never do that to her!"

Rika smirks "Good."

Takuma saw that she just wanted to know that then spoke "I called you here today because I want to discuss this with you."

Rika blinked nodding quietly allowing him to continue. Takuma then spoke "Rika, I want you to be what one would refer to as one of the three sidekicks I have."

Rika blushes bright red at the proposal, it wasn't Takuma confessing his love to her that she knew would never happen but it was on par with it "You mean, you want me to help you out in being the Guardian of Equestria? As in I help you out and get to fight alongside you if you need it?"

Takuma nods explaining himself "Yes, you see if I am the Guardian of Equestria, and I'm supposed to show the Equestrian Way, I have to have friends at my side. Not just any friends though, friends that I can count on to help me out. I've already asked the other two and they've agreed."

"May I ask who they are?" Rika asked "One better not be goggle head I can't stand him when he does something embarrassing!"

"I won't totally say who are the other two of my sidekicks, as I want it to be a surprise to you but the other two I will say one is going to be training me into being the Guardian of Equestria I'm supposed to be, and the other is going to teach me how to fly!" Takuma said answering her, he then turned to her "Rika...Goldmon and I have thought about this proposal of my third and final sidekick-"

"Mostly it was you that have thought it over" Goldmon reminded Takuma "But I did agree with your pick for it."

Takuma smirks at Goldmon "Of course I did buddy" he then turned to Rika "After thinking and talking it over with Goldmon, I've decided that I need a good friend to me someone from Earth to litterally be my eyes and ears on Earth. I want to know what threats may come to Equestria from Earth as once I'm sworn in I won't be able to go to Earth to watch over Equestria. And that's where you come in Rika."

Rika blushes as he turned to her "If you accept, not only will I allow you to fight alongside me in Ponyville and Canterlot but you and Renamon will act like spies watching over every little thing on Earth. Only reporting any dangerous threats that may come from it sense you'll be allowed to leave. So are you interested in it?"

Rika didn't have to be ask twice. Deep down in her heart, she wanted a purpose in life. She wanted to be very close to Takuma as two friends could be without being considered boyfriend and girlfriend. Rika actually smiled for once reaching out her right hand towards Takuma's left. Takuma sees her doing this and reached out his left hand. The two shook hands with Rika speaking up "You have my full services! You need two eyes to watch over the Earth, then consider me and Renamon your eyes and ears on Earth! We accept right Renamon?"

Renamon agreed with Rika "Indeed! It would be an honor to serve the Guardian of Equestria alongside the other two of his most trusted friends and sidekicks."

Takuma smiles "Thanks Rika, I knew I could count on you."

Rika smiled too "That and we get to help you out around Ponyville and Canterlot."

"Plus have an excuse to actually leave Earth and go into Equestria daily" Renamon admitted "That way DATS won't have to think on why we are leaving everyday."

Takuma nods "I'll make that announcement during my coordination ceremony. Oh Rika there is one more thing."

Rika eyes him "Which is?"

He gives her a potion that Princess Celestia and Princess Luna had made "Drink this"

"What for?" Rika asked.

Goldmon answers "Takuma figures that everyone of his friends should also be able to turn into a pony if they are working alongside him. That potion is from the two Princesses and will turn you into a pony but it will also allow you to transform back into human as well."

Takuma points out "It's also to try to protect you from Lyra."

Rika remembering her encounter with Lyra agreed "Thanks Takuma, this will certainly help me from being kidnapped again by her and then wonder why you aren't showing up to save me quickly."

She began drinking the potion and once she did she transformed. Sadly she didn't get wings or a horn, her transformation was a regular Earth Pony. Like Takuma she too was pure white but she had her brown hair as a mane and her tail. On her flank though was a broken heart as if wearing her regular shirt. Rika looks at her Cutie Mark sighing while thinking Wonder what destiny this means?

She takes a good look at her hooves smiling a little bit and leaps up kicking with her rear hooves "This is perfect! Just wait till a certain Goggle-Head angers me now."

Takuma sweat dropped thinking Takato's going to have to learn real quickly to not do anything embarrassing in front of Rika now. Or he runs the risk of being kicked by her in pony form, and seeing how Spike sometimes gets black eyes from Mother Twilight accidentally kicking him yeah it might be painful depending where she kicks him.

Rarity returned with the outfit seeing the new Earth Pony or at least she thought the Earth pony was new until she was the Cutie Mark "Is that you Rika darling?"

"It is" Rika said.

Rarity then gives Takuma his outfit which was a nice tuxedo "Here you go Takuma...Come on Goldmon let's get you a tuxedo too."

"Okay" Goldmon said jumping down.

Rika looks at herself "I guess I need a dress for the coordination too. Takuma is it okay I attend it like this?"

Takuma smiles "Ether way is find, you can be human or you can be pony. That's up to you."

Rarity turned to Rika "I may have a dress for you, a good light blue dress with the chest part having that broken heart."

Rika looked around spotting the dress "May I have that?"

"Sure you may darling" Rarity responded "After all I made it for you when you were in the Digital World."

Rika walks over to the dress, she briefly transformed back to human form and tries the dress on in human form. She blushes as the dress fit her completely "Wow! It fits perfectly!"

She then took the dress off and tried it on in pony form, and it still fit her "Thanks Rarity! I'll keep this one for sure...Uh, how much?"

Rarity smiled "Oh this one for you is free. Consider it free because you helped our Guardian out in defeating many other Digimon and the D-Reaper."

"Thanks" Rika told her.

Once Goldmon had been fitted for his tuxedo, the four would head to Canterlot. They had gotten to Canterlot castle just two hours prior to the coordination. Once there Rika saw Firebrand in a tuxedo and Rainbow Dash in her dress "Why are you two here?" Rika asked.

Firebrand took one look at Rika's pony form and knew at once who'd he'd be working alongside with "So, you're the one that's going to be joining us to keep an watchful eye on Earth."

Rika blinked "So you two are?"

Rainbow Dash nods "You bet Rika! Commander Firebrand and I are the other two sidekicks Takuma has, Commander Firebrand will teach our Guardian the ins and outs of his job and I'll teach him how to fly."

Rainbow Dash blushes eying Takuma "We've tried yesterday and you accidentally flew into a tree."

Takuma blushes too at hearing this and Goldmon burst out laughing "And he got stuck in it."

Rika smiles at Takuma's choice for the other two sidekicks he would have around "I look forward in fighting alongside you two."
Firebrand smiled back "Thanks Rika. We'll talk again after the ceremony."

"Anypony know whose invited to it?" Rika asked them.

Takuma turned "Everypony is including the Sun Goddess, her boyfriend, my father, DATS, our friends Henry, Takato, Guilmon and Terriermon."

"That's a lot of ponies" Rika muttered turning to Takuma "So how are you going to introduce us?"

"Takuma has a plan" Firebrand told her.

Takuma nods "As I'm being sworn in, before I give my speech, I'll call you all out by name. Once your names are called you'll come out and stand beside me on ether side."

"That way they get to see who Takuma will have as not only his friends but his sidekicks" Firebrand said.

Two hours went by, everyone that was invited to Canterlot Castle had arrived. Sailor Sun was given a seat with two two Royal Princesses due to her being the ruler of the Digital World. Princess Celestia sees the guest arrive walking over to the microphone "My dearest citizens, we are all gathered here together on a momentous occasion. As you all know recent attacks from Digimon and The D-Reaper have tested our peaceful ways. Due to uncertainty of our future, Princess Luna and I have deemed it necessary that in order to protect all of Equestria, a Guardian was needed. So with that said, let me proudly introduce you all to our very first ever Guardian, Takuma Sparkle with his Digimon Partner Goldmon!"

Four ponies came out singing "Behold, a Guardian is before us, Behold, behold the Guardian is before us."

Takuma walked out Magun in it's golden cylinder form clearly visible for all eyes to see. Takuma makes his way towards the end of the red carpet, then stood with Goldmon on his back staring out at the crowd below. Boy was there a lot of ponies around. All of DATS was there as well. He and Goldmon wave to the crowd as the ponies all shouted Takuma's name. Yamaki watched his son a big smile was seen on Yamaki's face, at seeing that Takuma found a purpose in life a purpose where he'd protect everypony in Equestria from any threat. It made Yamaki proud of his own son but it also made him want to cry on the inside seeing how far Takuma had grown up. His son still had more to grow but with this position he was that much closer of almost being a young adult. Princess Celestia walked up to Takuma and Goldmon placing a hoof gently around Takuma's neck "Say something Guardian."

Takuma decides to transform into his Pegasus form to let everyone know he could also be a pony. Yamaki was surprised even when Twilight had unsuccessfully tried to tell Yamaki about this development. The reason why it had failed was Yamaki had tried to find Kurata that day and didn't think to check his cellphone for any sort of voice mail regarding Takuma's decision to be the Guardian of Equestria and to have his wish at being able to be a pony granted.

Takuma waves to the crowd with one hoof and took a deep breathe and everypony went silent wanting to hear their first ever Guardian speak "First of all, I'd like to thank Princess Celestia and Princess Luna for giving me this opportunity to become Equestria's very first Guardian. It's truly a great honor and I vow to you that I will always place Equestria first. Goldmon and I will do what we can to make sure no threat ever succeeds in disturbing our peaceful way of life."

Hearing this the response was massive cheering and clapping from the crowd. Goldmon waves at them with his tail both he and Takuma wait for this to die down. Once it had Takuma speaks again "However, as the Guardian of Equestria, I need to reflect on what the Princesses both say is the Equesrtian way. Therefor I have developed three special friends of mine whom are to become my sidekicks whom will help me on my decisions on what to do to a particular enemy. Please welcome my sidekicks as I call them out. First, Commander Firebrand!"

Commander Firebrand comes out waving to the crowd. For the most part everypony agreed that this was a good choice all but one whom shouted "BOOOO! Bad decision!"

Both Firebrand and Takuma look down to see who did this and weren't surprised that it was Silver-Quill. Firebrand glared at Silver-Quill then he looks at Takuma"You want some fried chicken Guardian?"

"Not really" Takuma admitted.

Takuma then returned "Next sidekick is Ponyville's finest, Rainbow Dash!"

Rainbow Dash hearing her name called quickly flies onto the scene waving to the crowd. Rainbow only stops when seeing her own heroes the Wonder Bolts watching her. She blushes as she steps alongside Firebrand being at Firebrand's left side. Takuma smiled "And last will be helping me out the most, my friend Rika Nonoka with her partner Renamon."

Rika walked onto the scene. It was now Takato's turn to look up not only in surprise but he looked at Rika's beauty. She looked so beautiful in her dress. Rika walked halfway down the red carpet before transforming into her Earth Pony form and ran as fast as she could ending up standing at Takuma's left side. Renamon with instantly with her once Rika was at Takuma's left side. Takuma let's his three friends wave to the crowd. In the back Princess Celestia, Princess Luna and Sailor Sun actually smiled seeing this.

"It is a good idea that he has three friends to help discuss matters" Sailor Sun admitted.

Princess Celestia agreed "In any job it's best to have friends. I can see why they were chosen, Takuma made a good choice."

Princess Luna shook her head yes in agreement with her sister "Firebrand will teach our Guardian the ins and outs of the job, Rainbow will teach him how to fly, and Rika can help him keep tabs on Earth, just in case anything from the Earth maybe a threat."

"I do question why her though" Sailor Sun admitted "I mean he could've choose Takato or Henry."

"It's most likely due to Rika's troubled past" Princess Celestia told Sailor Sun "Takuma likes to befriend those that have trouble pasts and haven't quite moved on. This way Rika learns more about Friendship."

Sailor Sun smiles nodding "Right."

Takuma allows the ponies to cheer for what he had shown them before speaking up again "Everypony, as I've stated before, Goldmon and I will fight to protect all of you. We won't do it completely alone as my friends you see before me will help when it's needed. In fact after this ceremony is completed, and when I can fly better, we'll be going on routine patrols to all areas in Equestria. If I see anything at all, Goldmon and I will respond immediately."

"And hopefully everything can get resolved without violence" Goldmon said.

More cheers and applause were sounding for Equestria's first ever Guardian. Takuma smiled happily. Twilight Sparkle watches her son happily thinking Takuma, keep everypony save, I know you will

With these words said Equestria was ready to celebrate Equestria's first Guardian. Dr. Wolf spoke for Takuma during the party "Takuma, you certainly have come to an age where every action you have has a good reaction or a bad one. I know that you will do what you can to protect all of Equestria. Just remember that you need a level head to think clearly. Sure all lives are in your hooves now but your life has meaning too. Everypony here supports you and so do I. I look forward in seeing what happens after."

Silver-Quill lets Dr. Wolf complete his words "I myself have some good parting words."

Commander Firebrand eyes him "You'd better have some after the booing you made during the speech Takuma was making."

"Are you saying I'm not allowed to have my opinion?" Silver-Quill asked Firebrand.

"Well I suppose you are" Firebrand admitted "But it was sort of rude of you to do that."

"I agree with Firebrand on this one" Dr. Wolf told Silver-Quill "You don't ever boo when someone is making a speech unless there was something about it you didn't like or something you didn't like with that person."

Silver-Quill spoke to Takuma "Guardian, I didn't mean any disrespect but are you sure Firebrand is the one you want?"

"He's going to teach me the ins and out of the job" Takuma told Silver-Quill "Plus he's a marine. I would certainly benefit having him help me out at my job."

"I suppose so" Silver-Quill admitted "But know this, you should always be yourself. With Goldmon at your side you have a good team. I just hope you are successful at what you do in the future. There maybe dangers you have to face alone, no doubt you'll face them bravely. I'm not really sure if this is the correct step naming you the Guardian of Equestria and all but I'm willing to give it a try." he then smirks laughing "Of course you realize any mistake you make, I'll make sure to never forget. Like when you got stuck in that tree yesterday."

Takuma blushes "Like I needed a second reminder about that..."

Silver-Quill taunts Takuma more "I wonder what other embarrassing things I'll see you do. And I can't wait to tease you about them...But seriously about that tree thing, you should've saw that coming-"

Takuma eyes Goldmon whispering to his partner"Goldmon...Please shut him up."

Goldmon agrees aiming his tail at Silver-Quill's eyes "Venom Spray!"
Goldmon unleashes his venom at Silver-Quill's eyes. Silver-Quill never seen it coming but all he saw next was a eye full of venom "AH! Guardian this stuff burns! Goldmon, your venom burns! You two could've warned me that this was coming, now I can't see anymore."

Firebrand chuckles as Silver-Quill walked around trying to get the venom out accidentally finding Twilight's tail and thought it was a napkin "Oh goodie! I need something to clean my eyes out."

Silver-quill dips Twilight's tail into water and tries to get the venom out of his eyes. Twilight blushes deep red turning her head at Silver-Quill whom now had successfully cleaned his eyes out. Silver-Quill then notices his mistake at using Twilight's tail with Twilight glaring at him blushing deep red "Uh-oh."

"Care to explain yourself?" Twilight demanded.

"Well uh" Silver-Quill began "You see."

Twilight began building up magic in her horn and Silver-Quill smartly retreated "You'll never take me alive!"

"GET BACK HERE YOU HYPOGRIPH!" Twilight shouts chasing after him "I'm going to give you some payback!"

Takuma sweat dropped seeing his mother chase Silver-Quill around. Firebrand turned to Takuma whispering "You made the right call asking Goldmon to blind him."

Rika smiles turning to Sailor Sun "So Sun Goddess, when is Trixie's trial?"

Sailor Sun turned "I'm in the middle of transfering Trixie over to Princess Celestia's dungeon. In a week both she and Zaiquiomon will have their trail...Well check that Trixie will get hers, Zaiquiomon's expected to plead guilty."

Rika sighs "And Trixie?"

Sailor Sun shrugged "She may plead guilty but whatever punishment they'll have, it maybe a temporary lock up in a not so fatal Gate of Destiny."

Rika shivers "I'm guessing one used for jail?"

Sailor Sun nods "Yes."

Sailor Sun turned to Takuma "Congratulations on being Equestria's first ever Guardian."

"Thank you" Takuma told her.

Sailor Sun smiles as Takato and Henry walked by "Takuma, being a Guardian means you and I might meet again one day. Since we all worked hard to defeat the D-Reaper, allow me to give you and your friends my true identiy. Just make sure to tell nopony."

"Our lips are sealed Sun Goddess" Renamon replied.

Sailor Sun cancels out her transformation giving all four Tamers a big shock to see that Sailor Sun was Kari Kamayia.

"Kari Kamayia?" Takato asked shocked "You're the Sun Goddess?"

Kari nods "Yes, I am."

She stretches out her arms "It's been quite a while since I ever returned to this form."

"Did this have to done Sun Goddess?" Gatomon asked Kari.

Kari nods "Yes, Takuma has every right to know who I truly am, after all I know who the Guardian of Equestria is."

Takato blushes "Oh wow...Kazu and Kento have missed this reveal."

"Too bad you can't tell them goggle head" Rika told Takato still in Earth Pony form, she smirks raising her hooves "Cause if you do, I'm going to kick you so hard you may be knocked out."

"Thanks for the warning" Takato said sweat dropping.

Henry turned to Takuma "Well I guess you are about to go into your next stage in life."

Takuma nods "If you, and Takato need a hand I might be able to help but not often."

With this said the celebration would continue and Takuma's journey as Guardian of Equestria would only get better.

BIG EPILOUGE I KNOW, BUT IN A WAY I'M HAPPY TO HAVE COMPLETED ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL FANFIC. As always I'd like to thank everyone that has reviewed this fanfic. Anyway I want you all to know this isn't the end for Takuma Sparkle and Goldmon. There will be two sequels that come out before he's featured in Guardian Digimon Book 3, so look forward to the sequels and Guardian Digimon Book 3.

Anyway on the more personal note, with this successful fanfic, I plan to do a book reading on all chapters and post it up on Youtube. I would like to have character voices in the book reading. I'll also post this announcement on Deviantart as well.
