Chapter 49: Magun Thaws

Disclaimer: I do not own Digimon or MLP: FIM. I do own Takuma and Goldmon as well as Pumpkin Spice, Christmas Gift, and Harvest Leaf from Equestia, whom may show up in certain chapter. Not to mention Dr. Wolf, Commander Firebrand, FOB and Silver-Quill are owned by their corresponding brony reviewers. Also the Magun is from Final Fantasy Unlimited.

Things had certainly gotten ether weird of confusing for Takuma. Just recently the Tamers had managed to halt the D-Reaper's advance thanks to being able to Biomerge outside the Digital World. After making sure to combat it in the areas it was advancing, the group mostly Takuma was met by the Princesses of Equestria, Princes Celestia and Princess Luna. The question Princess Luna just asked over through him.

"No disrespect my Princesses, but Princess Luna, would you care to repeat that please?" Takuma asked still shocked at what Princess Luna just asked.

Princess Luna gladly repeated the question clearly seeing that Takuma was in shock with the question "Takuma Sparkle, would you become our Guardian, Champion Defender of all Equestria?"

It was Twilight that spoke "There has never ever been a Guardian of Equestria before!"

Princess Celestia agreed "That's true, if Takuma accepts the position and duty he will become Equestria's first ever Guardian."

Silver-Quill looks at Princess Celestia "Oh? And what's his position about to do, is he taking over your position from protecting all Equestria Princess?"

Princess Celestia shot Silver-Quill a get lost sort of look but it was briefly as she answered him "It's true part of Princess Luna and my duty is to watch over and protect Equestria night or day. However with the occurrences of several Digimon including most of the Devas, that have attacked Equestria and now this D-Reaper, all of which are enemies only Takuma and his partner Goldmon along with their friends can handle, it's best and time we have our first Guardian, Champion Defender of Equestria."

She turns to Takuma "Shall you accept the position and duty, you will be tasked in watching over all of Equestria and protecting them from any threat, sort of what Princess Luna and I do daily. It would help having a third eye watching and protecting Equestria...One that can get to the locations much more faster than we can."

Takuma was still shocked at the question not sure what to say, it wasn't every day two Royal Princesses came to you proposing to be the very first Guardian of Equestria, and he respected that, so he asks out towards them "Are you sure you want me to become the Guardian of Equestria? If so, why me?"

This got Twilight Sparkle and her friends along with the Tamers still in their Biomerged forms to agree with the question slightly muttering to themselves.

Princess Celestia heard the ponies and tamers talk to themselves quietly. She understood Takuma's question and was prepared to answer it which she does it smiling at him "Takuma Sparkle. You've come a long way from the very first day you arrived in Equestria as a baby boy to this day. You had faced many challenges protecting Ponyville night and day from Digimon that attacked it with your friends at your side. Going into the Digital World to save your love regardless of your own life. To right now handling the D-Reaper. In all occasions you rose up to the threat and prepared to face it and so far have been able to defeat them all. I am pretty sure there is nopony worthy of being Equestria's first ever Guardian, than you Takuma. Equestria needs somepony like you to help protect it Takuma. So yes, I'm sure Princess Luna and I want you to be our first ever Guardian."

Princess Luna agrees with her sister "Equestria needs somepony that's serious about keeping Equestria safe from harm. Who knows what other foreign and inner dangers Equestria may have to face. With you, shall you accept the position and duties assigned to you by the position, we'll be able to make sure nopony ever gets hurt or harmed again."

Takuma heard the Princess's honest and sincere answer. Honestly hearing Princess Celestia say all that about him was heartwarming to him.

"Come on!" Terriermon said as he and Henry changed back "Say yes Takuma! It's easy! I know that's gonna be your answer!"

"Don't rush him Terriermon" Henry warned his Digimon Partner "A decision like this does require time to think. It is one of importance."

Sakuyamon turned back into Rika and Renamon with Rika speaking up "Takuma, I'm in agreement with the Princesses! You'd make a great Guardian of Equestria!"

Takuma looked at her "You really think so?"

Renamon agreed with Rika "I believe that too. Takuma you'll be a great Guardian of Equestria. You helped Rika out greatly."

"Yeah!" Takato said while Gallantmon went back into him and Guilmon "She's not as mean as she used to be."

Rika grew an anger mark, and thanks to Firebrand giving her the crowbar bashes it on Takato's head. Takato falls to the ground in pain speaking out while raising a hand "Of course! Her anger management needs work!"

Guilmon has nothing to say to add onto any advice to Takuma, he was just concerned for Takato "Takatomon? Are you okay?"

"If he's like me" Silver-Quill told Guilmon "I'm sure he is!"

Takato rises onto his feet "Man, I've gotta remember not to insult Rika when she's with us."

Takuma smiled at the advice his friends given him. He turned to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna and bowed gracefully while speaking his words "Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, if you two really think and want me to become the first ever Guardian of Equestria, then I'll accept the position gladly."

The Princesses smile hearing this. It was as if they were expecting Takuma to accept at least Princess Celestia was expecting it. Princess Luna wasn't sure if he would but once he did accept the position she rose smiling too "Good, thank you Takuma."

Takuma looks at Goldmon "With you at my side, we'll stop anything that's a threat."

"Correct!" Goldmon admits "Whatever the danger Takuma, we'll face it together as a team!"

Princess Celestia brings out her badge, the badge looked like any police officer badge but it's title was called Guardian of Equestria and gave it to Takuma whom took it in his left hand inspecting it "Takuma, this shall be your badge to show as proof to everypony that you are the Guardian of Equestria. Plus by accepting the position Princess Luna and I want to give you this."

At her words Firebrand helps her to bring out the Magun still in it's golden cylinder form. Takuma looks at it "What is it Princess Celestia?"

Princess Celestia answered "A weapon only one other person has ever used. A weapon that's a guarantee one hit death blow when fired. A weapon that can summon Summons with the right Soil Charge Triad. It's called the Magun and when it's resting waiting to be used it stays in this form. Takuma, stick your right arm into it, this weapon shall be a warning sign to your enemies and be a symbol of Equestia's peace process as if to say, yeah we don't kill but if we have no other choice we will."

Takuma debated if he should stick his right arm into it. He hesitates thinking of the incredible power the Magun possessed, it's power was just under MetalScorpionmon after all. MetalScorpionmon could practically handle anything, so there was no need for him to use the Magun...At least not often. So after thinking it over he raised his right arm and stuck it right into the golden cylinder. With a CLICK the Magun attached itself onto Takuma's arm and stayed attached. Takuma looks at the weapon in it's golden cylinder mode finding it quite light for him to move, almost as if it wasn't weighing the arm down. He looks at Princess Celestia "Princess...Thank you for the Magun but I'm pretty sure I might not be needing it often. MetalScorpionmon alone can handle anything."

To his surprise both Princesses smile hearing this. Princess Celestia turned to him "I figured you'd say that and I'm glad you did."

Takuma blinked with Silver-Quill asking out "Why is that? Isn't he your Guardian now?"

Princess Celestia answered "Why yes, Takuma is Equestria's first ever Guardian. However unlike other Guardians, Princess Luna and I will be his only bosses-"

"Of course you two would be his only bosses" Silver-Quill muttered.

Princess Celestia continued her explanation "Takuma is the Guardian of Equestria which means he has to show what we all call the Equestria way. In otherwords he has a Semi Non killing rule which means he's not allowed to kill the enemy unless three exceptions are made."

Princess Luna announced the exceptions "One, is if the opponent is a Digimon, or D-Reaper or any type of monster that has a monstrous and murderous feeling to it. Second exception, is if the opponent is a robot looking to do damage to Equestria...And third exception is one that Takuma will have to reflect on the most,"

She turned looking at Takuma's eyes "Is if you have no other choice not to. This may mean you don't kill the opponent the first time you meet them, it may also mean you don't kill the second time but if by the third time you meet that same individual and all methods of peace dealing with doesn't seem to be working then it'll be okay, of course Celestia and I hope you won't think of killing them after the third time ether but that was an example of when you can do that."

Takuma gladly accepted those rules "Trust me my Princesses, these rules are sensible and I will obey them. I still don't plan on using the Magun as much unless I absolutely need to. Princesses you don't have anything like a book about the Magun now do you? I mean if I have to use it how will I know how to bring it out? And which is this Soil Charge Triads go together?"

Firebrand answered him "Not sure really, but there wasn't any instruction booklet to the Magun where we found it. This sort of thing may come to you as you get into the heat of battle. The Magun after all seems to have a mind of it's own."

Princess Celestia agreed "He's right, the original owner of the Magun at one point was able to use it constantly and willingly, but after one serious battle he somehow lost the ability to bring it out willingly. I'm sure the Magun will be able to help you think on how to bring it out."

Takuma looked at the Magun which was on his arm accepting it "Alright."

Dr. Wolf gave Takuma the bullets "These are what you'd be using to power the Magun."

"So many colors" Takato muttered.

"And each color represents a part of a Soil Charge Triad" Rika admitted.

Dr. Wolf then spoke to Takuma "Long ago the Magun could be used for destruction and did seem to feast upon negative emotions. However Princess Celestia has infused these bullets with the Elements of Harmony making the Magun be unable to feast on any negativity and won't make you surcome to it's effect if it does."

Takuma takes the bullets "Wow...Thanks."

Princess Celestia smiles at Takuma "One more thing Takuma, now that you've accepted being our Guardian, Princess Luna and I will grant you one wish."

"One wish?" Takuma asked the two Princesses whom nodded "Anything?"

"Indeed" Princess Luna told him "So what is your wish?"

Takuma thinks about it knowing the only way Fluttershy could go back into her Pegasus pony form was if the Sun Goddess freed her so that wish couldn't really be granted but there was one he always wanted to. He walks over to the Princesses and whispers to their ears his greatest and sincere wish. Both Princesses blink at what his wish was but then smile knowing why Takuma wanted that wish.

"Your wish shall be granted Takuma Sparkle" Princess Celestia said.

Both she and Princess Luna's horns began to fill with their magic and they sent out the magic around Takuma. A bright flash appeared and Takuma began to transform. When the transformation ended Takuma was on all fours and was white Pegasus Pony. He still had his brown hair and eyes. He looks at his reflection in the water to see that he certainly was a Pegasus pony. He spreads his wings inspecting them "Hmm...Was expecting a normal Earth Pony but I'm surprised that I'm a Pegasus pony."

Rainbow Dash swoops down scooping him up "Ah yeah! You're a Pegasus now Mr."

She even hugged him giggling happily "It's probably a good idea for you to be a Pegasus Takuma. I mean you can fly."

She sees Fluttershy staring at her as if trying to remind Rainbow whom Takuma belonged too, this caused her chuckle awkwardly "Sorry, Fluttershy, just got caught up in the moment." She then accidentally let go of Takuma and he falls head first onto Takato's head, both boys went down hard with Takato speaking up "If he can fly...Why did he fall on me?"

Rainbow Dash blushes "He just became a Pegasus, he needs to learn how to fly."

"Rainbow... Can we work on that later" Takuma said getting off of Takato.

"I suppose so" Rainbow Dash admitted.

Takuma looks at the Princesses smiling "Thank you...This is my greatest wish ever, sense I ever came here. I've always wanted to be able to be a pony."

Princess Celestia and Princess Luna smile with Princess Luna speaking up "It's a fine wish you made Takuma. Please note that this is another form you can take, you still have your human form."

Takuma blinked transforming back into his human form "Wow. What spell did you two use?"

Princess Celestia answered "An Alicorn only spell, Wish Granting Spell."

Takuma turned to Goldmon "Well looks like we have to start our duties."

"Right" Goldmon admitted "The D-Reaper isn't fully destroyed."

"We'll have to destroy it" Takuma admitted turning to his friends.

Princess Celestia and Princess Luna prepare to leave. Princess Celestia turned to Takuma "I trust you Guardian to defeat this D-Reaper once and for all. After this, we want you to come to Canterlot to be sworn in as Equestria's first Ever Guardian in a special coordination ceremony. Plus you are getting paid for this work personally by me and Princess Luna."

"Very well" Takuma told her.

The Princesses left with Twilight walking over to her son "So...What's your next step Takuma?"

Takuma answered his mother as he turned to his Tamer friends "We stop the D-Reaper at any cost but first, we should try to figure out how everyone else is doing against the D-Reaper."

Firebrand turned to Takuma "After your coordination Takuma, I'll personally oversee your training."

"Training?" Takuma asked him.

Firebrand nods "You need the training to understand your position and how to best respond. We'll work on that when the D-Reaper is destroyed. As for now FOB will be the location where we can contact DATS."

Takato took charge "Rika, go with Takuma to FOB and see how well everyone else is doing on Earth and the Digital World. Henry, and I will combat the D-Reaper here until you arrive."

"Right" Rika said.

Firebrand, Goldmon, Renamon, Rika and Takuma went to FOB. While this was happening Takato turned to Henry "Come on, let's start to drive the D-Reaper off."

"Right with you there" Henry agreed.

The two raise their D-Archs shouting "BIOMERGE ACTIVATE!"

"Guilmon, Biomerge Too...Gallantmon!"

"Terriermon, Biomerge too...MegaGargomon!"

The two Biomerged forms began to face off against the D-Reaper to hold off it's assult.

Amazingly, Commander Firebrand, Goldmon, Renamon, Rika and Takuma arrived at FOB Equestria really quickly. Commander Firbrand located and sent singles to DATS and the Digital World. Both Takuma and Rika hoped that the D-Reaper was about to be defeated for sure. The first to respond to the calls was Data Squad. Commander Sampson was on the field, his Digimon Kudomon was now Kentarousmon a Royal Knight trying to lead MirageGaogamon, Rosemon and Ravemon against the D-Reaper. Like the Tamers Data Squad was seeing success due to their Mega Level Digimon.

"Full Moon Blaster!" MirageGaogamon shouted blasting out at the Red Chaos of the D-reaper annihilating it.

"Rose Spear!" Rosemon shouts out her attack striking one of the D-Reaper's agents instantly destroying it.

Ravemon was flying around and attacking the D-Reaper's agent. Kentarousmon took aim "Icy Breathe!"

The ice attack rushes over towards the Red Chaos of the D-Reaper freezing it and destroying it.

Commander Sampson took the call "Hello? Whose this? Takuma Sparkle? Oh...How's the battle against the D-Reaper going down there?"

Takuma answered him "Henry, Rika, Takato and I along with our Digimon were able to Biomerge outside the Digital World and are making progress against the D-Reaper. I'm calling from FOB Equestria to see how well the efforts on Earth are going?

Commander Sampson studies the battlefield "We've made some gains against it and it appears to be shrinking on Earth"

"It is" Kentarousmon said "But only because it's joining with another D-Reaper."

"As in joining forces?" Takuma asked.

"That's exactly what it looks like here" Kentarousmon answered "Although I don't know where."

"I have a feeling it's Equestria" Takuma muttered "Have you been in touch with the Digital World?"

Sampson answered "I haven't but Spensor Damon has but only to inform the Sun Goddess of the latest development. If your theory is true, once the D-Reaper vanishes we'll be heading there to help you out against the D-Reaper. Still in Ponyville?"

"That's correct" Takuma replied.

"Well you can stop wondering when it'll stop shrinking Sampson" Thomas told his Commander "Because it has completely."

Sampson turned to Thomas "Get ready to respond to Equestria."

"Got it" Thomas said.

Takuma was nervous about this, if the D-Reaper was joining forces then Takato, and Henry were in trouble. He turned to Firebrand "There's no time to contact the Sun Goddess."

"Leave that to me" Firebrand told Takuma "You go out there and be the Guardian of Equestria you are! Make Princess Celestia and Princess Luna proud of their decision to name you Equestria's first ever Guardian."

"Will do!" Takuma told him he turns to Rika "Come on Rika! The others maybe in danger."

"Right!" Rika agreed.

The two Tamers raised their D-Archs shouting "BIOMERGE ACTIVATE!
Goldmon turned to Renamon whom nodded knowing this was indeed bad. Both Digimon wasted no time shouting "Goldmon...Biomerge too...MetalScorpionmon! Renamon, Biomerge too...Sakuyamon!"

MetalScorpionmon looked at his right arm, the Magun was still in it's unthawed cylinder form and now coated in Chome Digi-Zoid armor casing to protect it from being dissolved by acid. Quickly he and Sakuyamon left with Firebrand contacting Sailor Sun in the Digital World. All MetalScorpionmon heard from Commander Firebrand was as he left "Sailor Sun...Sun Goddess of the Digital World, there maybe a problem with the D-Reaper."

In Ponyville Gallantmon barely dodged being engulfed by the Red Chaos part of the D-Reaper. He then slashes out with his spear. MegaGargomon managed to avoid it too but not before grabbing onto it and pushing it backwards. Beelzemon was helping them by blasting out at the D-Reaper with his new gun. This seemed to be able to push the D-Reaper back but it was growing in size.

"I don't get it!" Gallantmon shouted "No matter what we do to push it back, it keeps growing! Take this, Shield of the Just!"

Gallantmon's shield attacked the Red Chaos part of the D-Reaper causing damage and for it to shrink a bit but likewise it still grew.

"I'm not liking what it's doing!" MegaGargomon shouted "Mega Barrage!"

His attacks connect but likewise after seeming to shrink the D-Reaper it seemed to grow bigger.

The two manage to dodge another attempt from the D-Reaper to attack and engulf them. They jumped and weaved in and out of the attempts. Then when it seemed hopeless a voice shouted "Get down you two! Acid Rocket!"

Both Gallantmon and MegaGargomon heard the warning and literally allowed themselves to throw themselves onto the ground as acidic meteroite sized blast came at the D-Reaper's red Chaos part eliminating some parts permanently. MegaGargomon turned to see MetalScorpionmon and Sakuyamon coming to their aide "Perfect timing you two!"

"Yeah" Gallantmon said "It nearly got us! Do any of you know why it seems to be growing rapidly?"

"I do" MetalScorpionmon said "At least I have a theory why, and it's this, the D-Reapers on Earth and the Digital World are shrinking in size, to combine into one giant one in hopes to crush us and the rest of it's enemies in one battle so it can go about to shrink again into three to finish what it's started."

"So it's...Combining?" Gallantmon asked.

"Just great!" MegaGargomon spoke sarcastically "Who programmed it to do that?"

"Kurata maybe?" Sakuyramon asked.

"Or maybe it adapted itself to get smarter" MetalScorpionmon said "We've gotta cut it down now and I think I know what I can do to do that...It's gonna be big."

"What's are you planning?" Gallantmon asked him.

"To Dive bomb this thing" MetalScorpionmon said "It seems to not like taking Sulfuric Acid and can't recover from it. If I can get a good dive bombing form in with the second method I use Acid Rocket..."

Sakuyamon understood him "Then perhaps we can destroy this thing even if it combinds!"

"Good plan!" Takato said "For this to work you'll need a distraction."

"What do you have in mind Gallantmon?" Sakuyamon asked him.

"So glad you asked" Takato said "MegaGargomon, Sakuyamon, you two and I will distract the D-Reaper attacking it on all angles. That way it doesn't see MetalScorpionmon fly up and prepare an Acid Rocket."

"Fair warning" MetalScorpionmon warned his friends "When I shout Acid Rocket, get a good distance away!"

"Right!" MegaGargomon admitted "This method of Acid Rocket is a lot more dangerous and powerful than your first method. Don't want any friendly fire after all."

"Mind if we help distract it too?" a voice asked.

The ponies of Ponyville turned to see Sailor Sun, Marcus, Merukimon, the four Sovereigns, Dragon Whispy, and all of Data Squad. It was the Digimon parts of the Biomerge forms that shouted the name seeing Sailor Sun "Sun Goddess!"

"You're here!" the Terriermon part of MegaGargomon said.

Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Twilight blink seeing Sailor Sun standing alongside her partner MagnaDramon. Twilight then asked Sailor Sun "You're the Sun Goddess?"

"I am" Sailor Sun told Twilight "And you must be Twilight Sparkle...Takuma's spoken a lot of good things about you."

Twilight blushes "What are you doing here?"

It was Zaiquiomon who answered "To put and end to the D-Reaper once and for all! It's combining into one."

"And we heard your plan Gallantmon" Marcus told him "And we'll all be joining you so that MetalScorpionmon can fly into the air and dive bomb this thing."

"If we play our cards right this thing won't know what hit it...Although only Digimon with Ranged attacks should attempt to attack it. We want to be ready to avoid any acid recoil from the Acid Rocket" Thomas admitted.

"It's the best shot we have" Sailor Sun admits.

"Go for it!" Pinkie Pie shouted.

"Yeah, give it all you got!" Rainbow Dash agreed.

"Right!"

The huge alliance charges forward towards the D-reaper.

Gallantmon charges the D-Reaper first "I'll be going first on this attack, Shield of the Just!"

"Let's add in a little fire to that!" ShineGreymon shouts "Glorious Burst!"

"And even more fire" Zaiquiomon agreed "Blazing Helix!"

The three attacks came at the D-Reaper's right side.

"Our turn" AzuLongmon told his group which was himself, MegaGargomon, and MirageGaogamon "Aurora Force!"

"Mega Barrage!" MegaGargomon shouts.

"Full Moon Blaster!" MirageGaogamon shouted.

These attacks came at the D-Reaper's left.

Sakuyamon turned to Sailor Sun whom smiled "Go ahead you can be an exception for only ranged attacks."

"Thanks!" Sakuyamon shouts "Twin Blades of Beauty and Truth!"

"Fire Tornado!" MagnaDramon shouts.

"Icy Breathe!" Kentarousmon shouts.

These attacks shot out at the D-Reaper's front.

"And finally it's my turn!" Sailor Sun announced holding her Sun Staff and glowing white all over due to her being in Mega form "Sunlight Gamma Ray!"

Sailor Sun's staff gathered in her light and fired it out as a huge death ray at the D-Reaper's back.

The D-Reaper takes the attacks at all angles. Incredible damage was dealt to it.

"Now MetalScorpionmon!" everyone and everypony shouted.

"No need to tell me twice!" MetalScorpionmon shouted coming downward acid outlined his whole body "Clear the area everypony! Time to dive bomb this thing with ACID ROCKET!"

MetalScorpionmon came down on the D-Reaper and unleashed the acidic attack once he slammed right onto it. A massive explosion appeared as acid erupted out all around the combined D-Reaper. The Acidic blast was massive engulfing the D-Reaper which nearly covered every building in Ponyville except for the tree house of where Takuma lived with his mother. Amazingly the acid only ate away at the D-Reaper leaving the buildings miraculously untouched.

"That was incredible!" Spike shouted seeing MetalScorpionmon standing alongside his Tamer Friends, Data Squad's Digimon, the four Sovereigns, MagnaDramon, Dragon Whispy, Majramon and Sailor Sun herself "That seemed to work."

To everyone's surprise the D-Reaper was still alive and growing in size but this time at a very slow pace.

"It survived that?" Marcus asked "Oh man! That was a good plan too!"

"What do we do now?" Gallantmon asked "MetalScorpionmon's second method of Acid Rocket wasn't enough! It should've worked."

"At this rate we may tire out and return to our rookie and human forms" Sakuyamon admitted.

"If only we can hold this off a little longer."

MetalScorpionmon hated to admit it but he could handle the D-Reaper but this much alone would take a lot of work. There had to be something he could use to save Equestria. He knew he spoke the truth that if the D-Reaper was able to defeat every pony gathered to stop it, then it would indeed separate into three D-Reapers again and overtake all three worlds. This had to stop and he knew it. There was only one option he had. Amazingly though, his thoughts triggered the golden cylinder that was the Magun on his right arm, he saw a white light glow from a tiny circle.

He wasn't the only one that saw it Sailor Sun managed to see the glow too but out of the corner of her eye. MetalScorpionmon then spoke out "It has moved..."

"What moved?" MegaGargomon asked mostly in Terriermon's voice.

Takuma then spoke out the words "SOIL, IS MY POWER!"

Magun Thaws Music Plays from Final Fantasy Unlimited

At this command there was tiny drill that emerged from the cylinder and it began to spin around. Gallantmon watched this "So...It's time for that to come out. We should consider ourselves lucky that our friend is using it."

The cylinder quickly began transforming into a triple barrel shot gun. The first that seemed to come out was the slots to fill in the bullets then the transformation of the Magun began. The Cylinder's parts magically swirled around MetalScorpionmon's arm taking shape of the triple barrel gun. Something beat as if it were a heart and when the gun was completed MetalScorpionmon admits out "The Magun...Has thawed"

Sailor Sun blinks almost immediately she knew the weapon MetalScorpionmon had was a dangerous one even to most powerful Digimon depending on what was Summoned "When did you get that MetalScorpionmon?"

"Just recently" MetalScorpionmon said.

End of song

"So that's what the Magun looks like when brought out of that cylinder" Sakuyamon muttered "Incredible."

MetalScorpionmon aimed the Magun at the D-Reaper thinking According to the Princesses, I only get one shot with this thing. Which Summon will be the best to use against it.

He stares at the D-Reaper still aiming the Magun at it speaking to it "This nightmare with the D-Reaper shall soon come to an end."

The D-Reaper doesn't seem to think it's in any danger, almost mocking such a pitiful weapon. MetalScorpionmon then thought of one thinking to himself There's only one thing that I can think of that'll defeat this for sure...A black hole type of thing. Then as if on cue something magically told him the solution, the Takuma part of him thought it was the Magun that was calling to him somehow to use the summon in mind.

MetalScorpionmon points out at the D-Reaper "The Soil Charge Triad to use on you has been decided!"

Magun Fires Song from Final Fantasy Unlimited plays

MetalScorpionmon takes out a blue soil colored bullet "The Fury that Levels anything to the ground-Storm Blue."

The blue colored soil bullet is locked and loaded into one of the chambers of the Magun.

He takes out a gray colored soil bullet "The Essence that Erases all Color-Ash Gray"

The second bullet locks and loads.

"And finally" MetalScorpionmon declared as a third but black colored soil bullet spins around "The spirit that Drops into Infinite Darkness-Silent Black!"

The third bullet finds the chamber, locks and loaded into it. The heart beating sound now seemed to beat faster and faster, a drill sounded out and then a magical field seemed to surrounded the barrels of the Magun as MetalScorpionmon shouts waving the Magun around as if aiming it at the D-Reaper "EMERGE...I summon you...Atamos!"

At the last second he points the Magun up high into the air, then pulled the trigger. BOOM! The Magun fired upright, three colored bullets of Storm Blue, Ash Gray, and Silent Black emerged spinning around into the air.

"Uh MetalScorpionmon" Gallantmon said to him "How could you miss? The D-Reaper is in front of you!"

MetalScorpionmon eyed him "I didn't miss. This particular summon is supposed to be fired upright."

"Why is that?" Gallantmon asked.

"You'll see."

Everyone looked up and watched as the three colored blasts touched each other combining and then it happened. A red creature appeared above the heads of everyone. It seemed to be like a small spiral type galaxy. It sights the D-Reaper then appeared to open it's mouth and little by little huge gusts of wind erupted from the creature. The Winds were so violent that it began to suck up the D-Reaper nearly instantly. Everypony except MetalScorpionmon had to hold onto something for dear life.

"WHAT IS THAT THING?" Gallantmon demanded at MetalScorpionmon with MetalScorpionmon watching worried silently as ponies tried to clang to anything in order to not be blown into it"It's sucking up everything and every pony!"

"I think he's summoned a creature that has a Black Hole in it" MegaGargomon in Henry's voice sounded "It feels like it has a Black Hole it in!"

"But it is sucking up the D-Reaper!" Sakuyamon told her friends "And it's working!"

Everyone watches as the D-Reaper tried to withstand Atamos's wrath but it was literally being sucked into it.

"Why I'll be" Thomas stated "It is working."

Gallantmon watches "Incredible! The D-Reaper can't withstand it!"

"Logically speaking" Thomas told Gallantmon "Nothing can withstand the gravity and suction power of a Black Hole, not even light escapes it."

Eight ponies clung onto MetalScorpionmon for dear life and he allows them to, the Summon he used was the only one he could think of that could stop the D-Reaper, and he was right. Too bad it did massive uncontrolled collateral damage to not only buildings but to other living ponies. When Atamos had finished the D-Reaper was completely gone. Not a single trace of it was seen and Atamos as quickly as it was summoned vanished completely with the D-Reaper completely sealed away locked in.

"That did finally did it" Takato muttered as the Biomerge forms split up.

Takuma was looking at the Magun which had taken the time to go back into it's golden cylinder form. Takuma looks at the Magun thinking Memo to myself, only use Atamos in an area where only the enemy is. That power did defeat the D-Reaper for good but at a cost."

Takato reached for the cylinder on Takuma's arm wanting to try to feel it only it burnt his hand "OUCH! Takuma! That thing is still hot! How can you not feel it burning your arm?"

Takuma looked at Takato "That's funny, I don't feel it burning me at all."

"That was the most incredible thing I've ever witnessed!" Rika told Takuma "You totally rocked with that Magun. It was as if you were naturally born to use it. The way you summoned Atamos."

Takuma smiles at her "Thanks Rika."

He then frowned at what was left of Ponyville sighing "Oh boy...We'll have to rebuild the place...Again."

"Perhaps next time" Takato told Takuma "That they can be prepared for that wind storm."

"Anypony hurt?" Takuma understood Takato's worry and he rushes about asking out for any pony that may have gotten injured.

Amazingly though no pony was seriously injured or devoured although Christmas Gift was nearly sucked into it. The white Pegasus Pony flies down looking at Takuma panting heavily "I'm pretty sure that was my mistake, I'm not flying ever again when Atamos has been summoned...It nearly ate me!"

"Get in line" Rainbow Dash admitted as she too was nearly sucked in "Had it not been for Twilight catching me and placing a barrier around us "I'd be eaten."

Twilight looked around "Well, the D-Reaper's gone."

"But Ponyville needs to be rebuilt" Takuma sighed "This time it was my fault."

"Not really" Silver-Quill told him "The D-Reaper forced your hand to use the Magun, it was the only choice you had left. Plus you needed a Summon that could deal with the D-Reaper now and forever."

Sailor Sun agreed "Even in the Digital World, collateral damage can happen. It's all part of the job sometimes. At least nopony got hurt."

"Just scared out of our wits!" Rainbow and Christmas Gift shouts.

Takuma eyes the Magun "It did save the day I suppose. I'll give it that."

"You made the right call" Twilight Sparkle told her son "Atamos was the best solution, don't feel bad about the whole town destroying thing. Not everypart of Ponyville is destroyed though. We'll recover from this."

Takuma nods "Thanks Mother Twilight."

Twilight turned to Sailor Sun "Thanks for coming."

"My pleasure" Sailor Sun told her.

Takuma then remembered something "Sailor Sun...When Trixie was helping Zaiquiomon, she pulled a nasty trick on my mother whom accidentally turned my Fluttershy into a human."

"Yeah!" Twilight agreed blushing red "And I feel bad about it. The book said only the Sun Goddess can undo that."

Sailor Sun heard this smiling knowing full well that it was her that could undo it "I'll be happy to undo the spell."

She turned to Fluttershy "If that is what you want."

Fluttershy smiles "I so do! Or at least grant me the privilege of being able to go in and out pony form."

Sailor Sun nods "Very well."

Sailor Sun held her Sun Staff close to Fluttershy "Sunlight Curse Removal!"

The Sun Staff glows yellow and quickly transforms Fluttershy back into her Pegasus Pony form. Happily Fluttershy spreads her wings and flies towards Takuma. Takuma saw her coming over to him and transformed himself. It would be Fluttershy that would tackle Takuma but gently allowing him to hit the ground on his back. Fluttershy was on top of him smiling speaking "We can have some more fun and time together now that we're ponies."

She then kisses him on the lips and he holds onto her "I wouldn't have it any other way my love."

She giggled hugging him joyfully. Takuma holds her close happily. He never wanted to see her hurt and vowed to protect her. She eyes Sailor Sun "Thank you."

Sailor Sun smiled "You're welcome Fluttershy. And you can transform back into your human form at will."

Fluttershy was very grateful for being freed and even more grateful at being able to go into human and out again into her pony form. She was so happy hugging her Takuma.

"Uh Takuma..." Takato asked him

"Yeah Takato?" Takuma asked him.

"Where's the Magun?"

Takuma looked at her front right hoof to see it was bare "Hmm, good question."

Twilight had a guess "Maybe the Magun wouldn't fit on the hoof so it briefly vanishes when Takuma is in Pegasus Pony form, meaning that Takuma can only use it in his human form or as MetalScorpionmon."

Fluttershy hugged him close happily as Takuma turned to her "Fluttershy, we'll have some time together. Right now I have to get ready for that coordination ceremony at being properly named the Guardian of Equestria."

Fluttershy understood "Okay, but please hold me for a little while longer."

Takuma smiled "I will."

Takuma holds his girlfriend close as she hugs him happily. Takuma eyes Goldmon whom nods happily "Together forever Takuma. I'm with you until the end."

Well guys, this nearly marks the end of the story. The D-Reaper is gone and Takuma has accepted in being the Guardian of Equestria. A quick note for those that may fear that the Magun will be too much, please know this, it'll only be used when MetalScorpionmon isn't enough. In fact I plan for Takuma to use the Magun perhaps amazingly 1 percent of the time because let's face it MetalScorpionmon alone could handle any threat. Anyway Next chapter is the Epilouge and will basically be Takuma's coordination.
