Chapter 39: Rise of MetalScorpionmon

Disclaimer: I do not own Digimon or MLP: FIM. I do own Takuma and Goldmon as well as Pumpkin Spice, Christmas Gift, and Harvest Leaf from Equestia, whom may show up in certain chapter. Not to mention Dr. Wolf, Commander Firebrand and FOB are owned by their corresponding brony reviewers.

Things seemed to happen way too quickly for Takuma and Goldmon. One moment the two along with their Tamer friends, their Digimon partners, the Sun Goddess, Dragon Whispy and Marcus with his own Agumon had just defeated both Trixie and Leopardmon. The next thing Takuma knew a pink a beam comes out really fast towards him and Goldmon and transported the two somewhere else in the Digital World. Where that place was sort of shocked Takuma as it was a desert area of the Digital World. Takuma sweatdrops "Uh, Goldmon...Is this my imagination or is this a desert area?"

"It's a desert Takuma" Goldmon replied.

Takuma frowned as he checked for anything he could contact the others with. All he had was his D-Arch and that wasn't used for email. Goldmon turned to his partner "Takuma?"

Takuma makes a fist knowing that the two had to rescue Fluttershy "Do you know where Zaiquiomon's castle is at?"

Goldmon shrugged "I know what Zaiquiomon looks like...I just don't know where his castle is held at."

Takuma looks in front of him "It looks like we must start our journey alone."

"Alone?" Goldmon asked.

Takuma nods firmly looking at Goldmon "Somepony's gotta rescue Fluttershy! I know the others are on their way to also rescue Fluttershy but they'll also try to find you and me. We'll only slow the Sun Goddess down if she tries to figure out where we are. Besides we have no way of contacting the Sun Goddess or our friends. Looks like we are on our own."

"Takuma..." Goldmon muttered trying to think of a friendly counter but he had none, Takuma was right on his words."

Takuma starts walking forward "So Goldmon...Let's get started."

Goldmon sighed hoping Takuma wouldn't start losing his mind in his effort to rescue Fluttershy and Calumon alone "Very well. Just please keep a level head."

"I'll do that after Fluttershy and Calumon are safe! Gatomon can only protect my Fluttershy for so long. Plus without the Sun Goddess she can't Digivolve so if the Soverign and Makuramon want, Makuramon could easily defeat Gatomon."

Goldmon was silent letting this sink into his head and silently hoped that Takato's theory on Calumon being able to Digivolve Digimon could be true.

The two start making their way up the desert unaware that a shadow of a Digimon was watching the two from a safe distance. It stared at Takuma and Goldmon for a while before walking off to talk to another Digimon it's master.

Keenan, Thomas,Yoshino and their Digimon had just made it back to DATS headquarters. They had quickly met up with Marcus's father Spencer Damon whom had taken over DATS's Director position. The older Damon frowned hearing that his squad confirmed the Tamer's story of what Zaiquiomon had done. As Spencer Damon left to get the money Sampson estimated Ponyville needed to be paid because of the damage, the headquarters was contacted by Marcus.

"What's up Marcus?" Thomas asked as one of the female DATS squad members picked up the signal "And we can confirm the Pig Deva did run rampage through Ponyville."

"That seems to be the trend" Marcus's voice told the blond DATS member "After all the Sun Goddess and I have confirm Zaiquiomon's holding Fluttershy hostage. We just defeated Leopardmon-"

"You had to fight him too?" Keenan asked hearing this as he looked at Yoshino whom was preparing to leave to confront Yamaki.

Both Keenan and Yoshino had to defeat Leopardmon when he arrived on Earth to destroy it and even with the two of their Digmon Falcomon and Lalyamon fully Digivolved into their Mega Forms, Leopardmon proved too hard for those Mega forms so they had to defeat him using Burst Mode.

"We did Keenan" Marcus admitted "We have some good news and some bad news."

Thomas smirked "Oh? You have bad news for once Marcus? You usually have good news."

"HEY NERDSTIN! I will always have good news! But this is a bit urgent...Which do you want to hear?"

"How about the good news before I leave" Yoshino said.

Marcus then nods "Good news is we've defeated Leopardmon and will begin to make our way to Zaiquiomon's castle. We also managed to capture Trixie-"

"The same Trixie that Twilight Sparkle said is aiding Zaiquiomon?" Gaomon inquired.

"The same one" Marcus's Agumon admitted.

"That is good news" Thomas admitted "Trixie's in a dungeon I suppose."

"She is" Marcus confirmed "But the bad news is, that when we defeated Leopardmon, a pink data stream activated and struck Takuma and Goldmon transporting them to some place else. He's like you Thomas, very smart but ever sense losing Fluttershy well watching he be kidnapped has messed his mind up. He maybe trying to find Zaiquiomon's palace alone."

Thomas pauses hearing this and nods quietly then spoke the concerns the Sun Goddess and Takuma's Tamer friends had "And without Takuma thinking logically he could be way in over his head."

"Indeed" Marcus's Agumon said.

"So we need one of you to find where Takuma is and to help him try to think logically so he doesn't go in over his head."

"Will do" Falcomon said.

"Good" Marcus said "On the meantime Sailor Sun, the Tamers, and I are going to be on our way to Zaiquiomon's castle."

"Rodger that" Thomas said "If you need help taking Zaiquiomon, please tell the Sun Goddess that DATS is nearly done paying Ponyville off and will be there for her if she needs assistance taking Zaiquiomon into custody."

"Thanks guys!" Marcus said "Over and out!"

Then there was silence as Spencer Damon arrived with the full amount of money to pay off Ponyville. Marcus's father sees how Yoshino, Thomas, and Keenan looked uneasy as he spoke "What just happened?"

Thomas explained everything to the director that Marcus had just told them. Ever sense Marcus had left Dats or well to be at Sailor Sun's side Thomas had taken over as the leader of his DATS squad containing himself, Yoshino, and Keenan well outside Commander Sampson's orders anyway. Spenser Damon sighed once more not exactly happy with the news but he admired his son's bravery and knew things would soon hopefully end. Spensor Damon leaves the money on the counter so Thomas could think on the next step on what to do.

Thomas turned to Yoshino "Go ahead and get Yamaki."

"Of course" Yoshino said.

"Consider that done!" Layamon told him.

Thomas turned to Keenan "Think you and Falcomon can deliver the money to Ponyville?"

"Of course! Falcomon and I can!" Keenan said.

"But why can't Keenan and I go find Takuma?" Falcomon asked "After all we've been in the Digital World long enough to know the areas plenty well."

Thomas nodded at the comment "That would be a logical move, but it's what Marcus revealed to us, that Takuma is a lot like me when it comes to brains. If he's truly suffering from watching Fluttershy being kidnapped in front of his eyes, and isn't thinking clearly, it's best someone like myself find him. After all he may not care for his own life, but I know his adoptive mother Twilight Sparkle cares for her son's safety."

"Right" Keenan said with a nod taking the bag of money.

Thomas turned to Gaomon "Gaomon, looks like you and I have to find Takuma."

A female DATS officer spoke "Thomas...We've just managed to pick up a faint signal in the desert area of the Digital World. There is a human signature we are picking up and a Digimon one too."

"Send me and Gaomon to that location immediately! That human signature and Digimon signature must be Takuma and his Digimon Goldmon. " Thomas instructed her.

"Yes sir!"

Thomas turned to Keenan "It would probably be best to not tell Sampson of this due to him being near Twilight Sparkle. I'd rather not let her freak out that her son has vanished."

Keenan and Falcomon nod as the three DATS members go out to their corresponding objectives.

Yoshino was driving her squad car looking for Yamaki with Layamon at her side. She drove to the location where the remains of Hypno's building stood. It was still destroyed thanks to the Juggernaut program being decimated by Makuramon's sneak attack. Yoshino purposely waits till she spots Yamaki. She eventually doesn't have to wait long as Yamaki arrived at the sight five minutes afterwards. Yoshino gets out of her car and walks over to Yamaki "Are you Mr. Yamaki?"

While he was still cursing that he had been outsmarted by Makuramon, Yamaki heard his name called "That would be me! Who is it?"

He pauses as he is approached by Yoshino whom flashed her badge "I'm Yoshino of the Digimon Data Squad! You are ordered to come to DATS headquarters for questioning immediately!"

"Questioning?" Yamaki asked her "On whose authority?!"

"DATS has every right to question you" Yoshino warned "And if you must know our Commander Sampson and Director Spenser Damon have authorized the questioning."

Yamaki stares at the young but still older teenaged girl. What exactly did this girl have over HIM of all people. He stares at her badge and it was real, he could see that she wasn't lying. She makes a move to her memory eraser "If you refuse I may have to take action by removing your memories!"

She has a memory eraser? Yamaki thought And she thinks she can erase anyone's memories?

Yoshino sees him trying to intimidate her but she holds firm as she warned him "Careful Mr. Yamaki. I can erase your memories or I can leave and get another DATS member Marcus Damon onto you...And trust me...He'll bring you in one way or another...And the other way usually resolves him into using his fists which aren't a pleasant way to get introduced by him."

Yamaki had indeed heard of Marcus Damon, but only because of rumors of Marcus at that time being the best street fighter of all Japan. There was differently truth to her words. He sighed "Fine! Officer Yoshino. Do what you must I'll come willingly."

"Good decision!" Yoshino said placing her memory eraser back into her pocket "Now let's go."

Yamaki gets into the back of Yoshino's squad car as she gets into the drivers seat.

Lalyamon finally spoke to Yoshino "That took longer than you said it would."

Yamaki blinked seeing that Yoshino had a Digimon which Yoshino seemed happy to have.

Yoshino nods to her partner "Strong types like Yamaki over there can be hard to convince. I had to resort into threatening to use my memory eraser which I would've used or leaving and getting Marcus onto his butt."

"Marcus wouldn't take no for an answer" Layamon admitted "If Yamaki said no to him, Marcus would break him down and drag him."

Yoshino drives the squad car looking at Yamaki explaining to him "Hypnos isn't the only organization that knows about Digimon. DATS was created mostly for people using Digimon for crimes or like you doing something illegal to the Digital World...But the biggest difference between Hypnos and DATS is, DATS tries to maintain peace between the two worlds, not to destroy the other world."

"HEY NOW!" Yamaki shouts at her "DIGIMON DON'T DESERVE PEACE! THEY ARE-"

"DON'T YOU DARE COMPLETE THAT SENTENCE!" Yoshino shouts back "DIGIMON ARE LIVING BEINGS WITH HEART! They deserve to live, and when you learn something about the Digital World maybe you yourself may have a change of heart! Then again maybe you won't Mr. I want to destroy the Digital World and all Digimon involved in it!"

Yamaki blinked "How'd you know about Hypnos?"

"DATS is aware of anything that's Digimon related" Lalamon answered "We only let Hypnos go as far as we did because at that time was because we didn't know much about Hypnos."

"Now that we do" Yoshino told Yamaki "The Commander will have a stern questioning session with you Yamaki. You don't know how much of hot water you are in. Honestly...You'll be lucky if he doesn't decide to erase your memories after the session or arrest you. Although memory erasing would be the more suited punishment."

Yamaki was silent as Yoshino drives the squad car back to her headquarters.

Back in the Digital World, Takuma and Goldmon had walked further and further in the desert. The inexperience of being in a desert place was getting to Takuma. Even in the Digital World deserts were hot especially with the hot sun over his head. Goldmon being a scorpion was more than happy in being in the Digital World, burying himself in the sand and using it to cool off and walk. Takuma gets over to what he thought was a place for water. At the same time Thomas had arrived in the area. He and Gaomon compared to Takuma were properly prepared. The two had spotted Takuma rushing over to the area and leap, only falling face first into the sand "HEY! This isn't water!"

"Correct" Goldmon said holding in his laughter at his tamer's misfortune "It's sand."

Thomas quickly rushes over to Takuma's aide. The young boy and his Digimon Goldmon had been searching in the area for hours and sweat was starting to overcome Takuma. Thomas quickly spoke reaching to Takuma's hand "You just had your first mirage!"

Takuma looks up in front of him seeing Thomas standing in front of him, to Takuma's eyes he thought Thomas looked like his father Yamaki "Really? Father what are you doing here?"

Takuma then passes out due to the heat. Thomas quickly and smartly reacts. Sprinkling water from his water bottle all over Takuma then having Takuma drink some of his water. Thomas quickly turned to Goldmon "We gotta find some shade."

"There's nothing but sun and sand in the way way we came from" Goldmon said concerned for Takuma "Will he be okay?"

"He will be when he cools off" Thomas told Goldmon.

Gaomon found a huge area with shade actually it was a strange water hole area with huge canyon like walls providing shade everywhere around the area. Thomas took a weakened and passed out Takuma in his arms then makes his way to the shade area "Good work Gaomon!"

Goldmon follows Thomas and Gaomon to the area where Thomas gets right back to work cooling Takuma off. Ten minutes later Takuma stirs finding himself in a shaded area of the desert. He weakly tries to sit up "Take your time" a voice sounded.

Takuma looks in front of him to see Thomas with his Digimon Gaomon sitting down in front of him "You just nearly died by heat stroke. Lucky for you Gaomon and I were able to rescue you for the time being."

"I don't have the time to wait!" Takuma told the man.

"You have no choice now" Thomas told Takuma "In your condition, you are in no position to fight or continue on. You're still suffering from being overheated by the sun. I'm Thomas H. Nortein of Digimon Data Squad and this is my partner Gaomon."

Takuma blinked as Gaomon waved to him "Funny...Goldmon and my first battle together was another Gaomon..."

"We're nearly common Digimon to see" Gaomon replied.

He tries to get up but Goldmon was weighing him down just by sitting on his chest or at least standing on it "Goldmon! Will you get off me?"

"Sorry, Takuma!" Goldmon told him "But listen to Thomas. He just did rescue you. You wouldn't last five minutes out there in your condition."

"But Fluttershy!" Takuma protested.

"She'll be rescued" Thomas told Takuma "In time."

Takuma struggled but Goldmon still doesn't let his partner get onto his feet "She'll be killed if I don't rescue her!"

Thomas looks at him "Listen to yourself Takuma Sparkle! You're smarter than that! I know you love your Fluttershy, but even she wouldn't want you to die being reckless!"

"Reckless?" Takuma inquired.

Thomas nods "It's fine to want to rescue someone you care deep for, but it's another thing trying to do it recklessly like you are doing right now. Goldmon is right, you'll surely die if you continue in your condition. Your body is fighting to recover from being overheated. When that happens you won't be able to think clearly and your reaction time isn't too great ether. Rest now and cool off. Once I've deemed it that you are well enough to continue we'll continue."

Something comes on Thomas's communicator and it was Director Spensor Damon's voice "Thomas...Have you found Takuma?"

Thomas answered "Yes, Director Damon. Luckily Gaomon and I have found him in the nick of time, he's suffering from being overheated and heat stroke but he should be fine with my protection."

"Good" came the voice "Yoshino just arrived with Yamaki."

Thomas nods "Good! Now good luck at the questioning."

The communication ended as Takuma looks at Thomas "What's wrong with my father?"

Thomas answered "He's not under arrest at the moment but he may just get his memories erased at least about Digimon. We had to bring him in for questioning after Hypnos failed to do anything about Digimon attacks in Equestria and other things."

Takuma sighed "Thank goodness..."

Takuma tries to relax and Goldmon manages to get off his Tamer partner.

Two shadows prepare to walk over to the weakened Tamer and Dats member on the intent to kill the Tamer. Goldmon and Gaomon shift feeling this with Gaomon growling "Oh-no! Thomas sir! we've got a major problem!"

Takuma blinks as Goldmon spoke "Something is approaching us!"

Takuma sees Goldmon shift upward turning feeling shadows approach the area as Gaomon sees feels it too. Thomas stands up "Who goes there?"

The Shadows emerge and a Genie Digimon approached with an army of other Digimon which all looked like Mummies.

"Certainly not good!" Thomas frowned "Especially at a time like this."

Goldmon looks at the genie and Takuma sees it in his D-Arch "That's Lampmon! Mega Level Demon Man Digimon...His Phanton Turban and Golden Smog attack are attacks that'll leave opponents puzzled"

"And the mummies are Mummymon!" Gaomon reported "Ultimate Level Digimon with a sneaky electrical Snake Bandage attack."

"What do you want?" Thomas demanded.

Lampmon glares at the Data squad member turning to a Mummymon that had told him about Takuma's presence "You didn't say Data Squad was here too!"

"What differences does it make boss?" The Mummymon Lampmon was speaking to spoke "We can crush him!"

Lampmon eyes Thomas "If you must know I've come to finish the deed I should've done thriteen years ago."

The Digimon eyes Takuma "It was I that separated you from your father Yamaki when I was a Wizardmon. At that time I was under secret orders of Zaiquiomon-"

"Even in that time he was scheming against the Sun Goddess's back!" Thomas interrupted.

Lampmon nods "Only because he saw the future! He saw Hypnos being a big time threat to the Digital World so he attempted to destroy both Yamaki and Takuma sending me! I thought I had killed the father but something went wrong with my attack as I went to kill the little baby boy! My attack somehow managed to transport him to a new world, that world being Equestria and we never attacked it. Now I have become a Lampmon and will complete the deed I should've done long ago!"

Takuma growled slowly getting up "So I have you to thank for separating me from my father? But actually give you thanks for allowing me to meet my adoptive mother Twilight Sparkle."

"Careful Takuma" Thomas warned "You've still haven't recovered."

"I know that!" Takuma told him "But if I'm going to die I'd rather go down fighting with Goldmon at my side!"

"You aren't alone in this conflict" Thomas told him "I shall assist you."

Lampmon nods "I thought the Sun Goddess might get involved somehow in protecting that boy so that's why I brought an army of Mummymon! Mummymon prepare to take down that blond Dats officer! I'll deal with Takuma Sparkle one-on-one!"

Thomas brings out his Digivice to give Takuma time to bring out his cards to Digivolve Goldmon. He stares at the Mummymon then smiled at them then taunts him coming up with what Marcus would've said to him "You really think that army is enough to hold me and Gaomon off? Well then let me show you that it'll take much more then the army you have now to defeat me and Gaomon!"

The Digivice glows as Thomas spoke "D.N.A Charge...Overdrive!"

Gaomon shouts "Gaomon, Double Warp Digivolve too...MirageGaogamon!"

In Gaomon's place stood a wolf like knight in blue armor whom replied to Thomas "Orders sir?"

"Attack plan Alpha!" Thomas ordered "Take them out quickly so we can help Takuma! He'll need us because from what Marcus revealed to us he can only go Ultimate."

"Sir, yes, sir!" MirageGaogamon shouts he seems to vanish raising his massive claws and easily takes out an entire row of Mummymon deleting them completely with one move. One Mummymon raised his blaster "Snake Bandage!"

MirageGaogamon simply seems to blink avoiding the attack which hit a second charging Mummymon "Full Moon Blaster!"

Before the two Mummymon could react MirageGaogamon opens his chest and unleashes a powerful beam at the Mummymon. The beam connects to the two Mummymon deleting the two and the entire column behind them. Still despite this more Mummymon rush forward to engage MirageGaogamon whom spoke "This may take a little more time but it should be easy for me to engage this army sir!"

"Good" Thomas told MirageGaogamon.

Takuma looks at Goldmon "Ready buddy?"

"You bet I am!" Goldmon said.

Takuma took out his card "Digi-Modify! Digivolution Activate!"

Goldmon shouts "Goldmon, Digivolve too...Scorpionmon!"

Lampmon shouts "Phantom Turban!"

Takuma watches as Lampmon throws out his hat which seemed to vanish. Takuma quickly pulls out his second card but Scorpionmon gets pummeled by a hat taking him down but not out. Scorpionmon gets up "Cheep shot!"

Lampmon shoots out his hat again using the same attack but this time Takuma was ready he takes the other card "No this time! Digi-Modify...Matrix Digivolution Activate!"

"Scorpionmon, Digivolve too...SamuraiScorpionmon!" Scorpionmon declared as it evolved into SamuraiScorpionmon.

Scorpionmon watches as Lampmon's hat comes at him and uses one of his Kitanas to bat the hat back at Lampmon "You're going to have to do better than that to defeat me!"

Lampmon managed to catch his own hat and put it back on "So be it!"

Takuma nods "Get him SamuraiScorpionmon!"

SamuraiScorpionmon charges drawing both swords "Right, let's see if this genie can handle being cut up!"

SamuraiScorpionmon slices out at Lampmon whom avoids the attack once but not a second two swipe attack. He may not've dodged the second two swipes but he blocked them from damaging him. SamuraiScorpionmon then attacked "Double Kitana Venom Strike!"

Lampmon takes the attack or that is what Takuma thought it did. The moment the attack looked like the genie had taken the attack, Lampmon retreated back into the lamp to avoid the attack. It seemed like it was magic that aided the Digimon as it was nearly instantly and SamuraiScorpionmon blinked seeing this "What the?"

Even Takuma was thrown off for a loop "He can do that?"

Thomas was watching the battle while concentrating on the army of Mummymon "Well if you think of it Takuma...It seems logical. He is a genie and they can do anything."

He then sees a MirageGaogamon take down two more Mummymon but sees a third taking aim at the Mega's back with and warned MirageGaomon "Watch your back!" The Mummymon attacked "Snake Bandage!"

Thanks to Thomas's warning MirageGaogamon managed to spin around catching the attack in his claws "Thank you sir!"

Lampmon then uses his magic to make himself reappear behind SamuraiScorpionmon's back "Golden Smog!"

SamuraiScorpionmon heard this and Takuma could only watch as Lampmon attacked SamuraiScorpionmon with a golden like smog attack that engulfed it. SamuraiScorpionmon coughs "Oh man! Just what I need a poison fog!"

Lampmon saw his chance and shouted "Phantom Turban!"

He threw his hat again and Takuma shouts "Incoming!"

SamuraiScorpionmon prepared to bat the hat back but it simply vanished out his sights "WHAT THE?"

The hat comes at SamuraiScorpionmon's back and the Digimon felt it coming at him but seemed to be too slow to react and was hit causing the Digimon to finally fall onto his back and nearly onto Takuma. Takuma avoided the falling Digimon "No way!"

Lampmon laughs "It's over Takuma! I'll be able to destroy you! Now that SamuraiScorpionmon's taken my Golden Smog attack his reflexes are slower!"

SamuraiScorpionmon gets back up "Not for long!"

Lampmon attacked again with Phantom Turban. SamuraiScorpionmon takes the attack again this time in his side even when he tried to stop it from the front and back. Takuma could only watch seeing that he was powerless against a Mega. He realized he did need Thomas's help but MirageGaogamon was still engaging the Mummymon and that he was failing his Flutershy! This irritated him "Come on SamuraiScorpionmon! We can do it! We can't fail Fluttershy!"

"You bet we can!" SamuraiScorpionmon shouts.

Lampmon mocks the two "We shall see one last Phantom Turban shall do it!"

Lampmon attacked with his attack again and this time SamuraiScorpionmon completely moved too slow as the poison done it's work completely immobilizing him. The attack hits SamuraiScorpionmon's chest sending him flying and reverting him into Goldmon. Seeing Goldmon fly off Takuma caught his partner and the momentim carried Takuma back first into a canyon wall "Ouch!"

"Takuma!" Thomas shouted.

"I'm fine!" Takuma said wincing while checking out an immobilized Goldmon "I think! Goldmon..."

Goldmon finally stirred opening his eyes "That Golden Smog done me in..."

At this point MirageGaogamon was in a pickle himself having his claws and arms tied up by Mummymon. The Mega was trying to break free "Rats! Thomas sir! We need a Plan B soon! Lampmon's going in for the kill!"

Thomas watches trying to think of a plan as Lampmon advances on Takuma "Time to face death Takuma!"

Goldmon tried to move but he was paryalized thanks to the Golden Smog "Can't move Takuma..."

Takuma closes his eyes thinking of his Fluttershy. He didn't want to fail her. He grips his hands trying to contain his anger "Goldmon...We aren't going to fail Fluttershy are we?"

"No" Goldmon admitted trying to smile "We aren't! We'll think of a way to beat this guy!"

"Then both of you shall die!" Lampmon shouts snapping his fingers "Time to face death! Golden Smog!"

"Trust me you don't want to take this attack" Goldmon muttered.

Takuma closes his eyes feeling his friendship with Goldmon, his Tamer Friends, of course his Fluttershy, and his mother. Sure he was still angry at losing Fluttershy to Makuramon but right now they had to succeed in beating Lampmon someone that took him away from his father and it was personal. Goldmon felt this bond as even he knew their friendship was incredible. Goldmon nods "come on Takuma! We can beat this guy!"

"You know it buddy!" Takuma said gripping his Digivice "Let's show him!"

"You'll die!" Lampmon shouts.

"NO we won't!" Takuma and Goldmon shout as Lampmon's attack comes closer to him.

Takuma's D-Arch started glowing and a mechanical voice announced slowly as the words appeared on it "Biomerge Digivolution!"

Takuma held his Digivice "Biomerge Activate!"

Goldmon closes it's eyes "Goldmon, Biomerge too..."

To Thomas's eyes Takuma and Goldmon merged together with Takuma becoming something like a spirit and get absorbed into Goldmon as it skipped it's Champion level and Ultimate Level forms and go straight to what Thomas's Digivice was making it to be...A Mega Level!

Soon in Takuma and Goldmon's place was a huge green armored human scorpion hybrid with the lower part of it's arms being gold. It seemed mostly like a scorpion but stood on two legs and had two arms but scorpion like. It's green head was in form of a scorpion with a gold visor similar to Samus Aran's visor. It also had built in jets in it's back which were gold. It's scorpion like tail was green still it got to the tip where it was gold it also winded up similar to the Dragonzord's tail. On it's pinchers near the golden parts there is a camouflaged golden wrist blades that could extend or stay attached to the pincher like Wolverign's claws. It's chest was green towards the arms and stomach area but gold near the actual chest area of the human When the transformation stopped the new Digimon's form was announced "METALSCORPIONMON!"

MirageGaogamon managed to break free announcing "It's MetalScorpionmon! Mega Level Metal Insect type Digimon! It's armor is composed of thick Chrome Digi-zord armor so thick that just about any impact is worn off and it's immune to any toxins...It also fight with high dosage of Sulferic Acid the same acid and lethality as the acid found on Venus."

Thomas had never seen anyone be able to merge with a Digimon "Incredible! Takuma and Goldmon became that!"

MetalScorpionmon stood in Takuma and Goldmon's place as the Golden Smog attack hit and where it might've worked on SamuraiScorpionmon, MetalScorpionmon stood unharmed glaring at Lampmon whom was shocked "N-N-N-No way! It can't be the legendary Biomerge!"

MetalScorpionmon then spoke with both Takuma's and Goldmon's voice heard "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE WHEN FRIENDSHIP IS HIGH! Now it's time to end this!"

With it's jets igniting MetalScorpion flew towards Lampmon. Lampmon shouts "Eat this! Phantom Turban!"

The hat was thrown but MetalScorpionmon simply allows the attack to hit them. The hat didn't do any damage in fact it seemed to bounce off them as if it were a feather. Lampmon blinks trying again and again but MetalScorpionmon ether dodged or charged through without taking any damage "Impossible!"

"You're attacks are like most attacks that will come at me" MetalScorpionmon spoke in a warning tone "Most attacks have no effect on me even the Elemental ones don't.

Lampmon tried a "Golden Smog!"

MetalScorpionmon decided to go on the attack "That won't work on me! You've tried that before when I completed going into this form! It's a poison type attack and that has no effect on me at all!"

He goes right through the attack "And now Acid Claw!"

The two wrist blades on MetalScorpionmon's arms er pinchers extended and filled with a lethal amount of acid as they swung both blades. Lampmon blinked bringing up his arms to block them but the acid was too much and the Digimon's arms were cut off causing him to be in pain.

"Battle up!" MetalScorpionmon shouted "Acidic Drill Tail Swing!"

MetalScorpionmon's tail was surrounded by acid and it starts spinning like a drill, and swung it the tail. Lampmon snaps his fingers and retreats to the lamp but this is what MetalScorpionmon wanted striking the lamp with it's tail completely destroying the lamp and forcing Lampmon whose arms had reformed. The powerful tail swing also sent Lampmon flying into the air and MetalScorpionmon starts gathering in acid in one pincher "You're finished! Time for my true primary attack! ACID ROCKET!"

The pincher gathered in power and it launched out THIRTY volleys of Meteorite sized Acidic blasts as if they were shot out of a rocket! Lampmon didn't have his safety retreat and could only watch as the attack hit him. Not one or two but ALL THREE OF THIRTY OF THEM. It turned out that only one was needed to completely destroy Lampmon but in the end Lampmon was defeated. Seeing their leader defeated the surviving Mummymon retreat not wanting to feel the wrath of MetalScorpionmon. MetalScorpionmon lands next to Thomas and MirageGaogamon.

Thomas eyes MetalScorpionmon crossing his arms "That was a bit of overkill don't you think? Did you have to send thirty of those Acid Rockets in one move at Lampmon? Only one would've done..."

"I was planning to send one" the Goldmon part of MetalScorpionmon admitted.

"Hey!" the voice of Takuma spoke "Lampmon made me angry. I tend to lose myself when I know Fluttershy and Calumon are in danger. Besides he deserved it.

Thomas sighed looking at MetalScorpionmon "You couldn't have succeeded Biomerging if it wasn't for your friendship to Goldmon and your friends."

MetalScorpionmon nods "Correct."

Thomas smiled "It couldn't have came at a better time."

There was a new message coming from Sampson whom had arrived back in DATS "Thomas! If Takuma is well enough I'd suggest you make your way to join up with the Sun Goddess."

"What's wrong?" Thomas asked.

"Our sensors just picked up a Digimon signal coming from an Impmon. It's massive meaning it's Digivolving straight into a Mega Level"

"Rodger that" Thomas said he turned to MetalScorpionmon "Looks like we need to regroup with your friends first. Impmon's Digivolving, perhaps into his Mega form and most likely he'll confront your friends."

MetalScorpionmon now had concern in his voice "Then let's go after Takuma rests a bit more."

"Agreed" Thomas said turning to talk to the Takuma part of MetalScorpionmon "Just thirty minnutes more though."

Takuma agreed "Alright."

Uh-oh who could be coming to confront Takuma's friends? In your reviews what did you think of MetalScorpionmon? I'm not really good at describing things but how well did I do? Anyway next time. Chapter 40: Rescuing Fluttershy Arch P1: Takuma and Thomas must race to aide the Sun Goddess and her allies to join up with them for the mission in rescuing Fluttershy and Calumon. A New Mega Level Digimon threatens to stop the Sun Goddess from reaching Zaiquiomon's castle. Who can it be?

Also I know Dragonhero 15 wanted me to put in an Impmon scene but I ran out of space and words due to the Data Squad seens. However in the next chapter I will put the scene with Impmon and Zaiquiomon in it.

Also as another note, MetalScorpionmon isn't immune to all Elemental Attacks...Two types of Elemental Attacks can still go through. That won't be revealed however until much later like when facing Zaiquiomon.
