Shy was scared of my car witch I found funny. “Don’t worry Shy it won’t eat you.” I opened the passenger side door and gestured for her to get in. “You sed you wanted to go to the vet and help out right?” She nodded and with a determined look got in. I closed the door and walked over to the driver’s side and got in. “Right off we go to the vet!” I started the car and backed out. “W-what about the others?” I looked at her and smiled. “Don’t worry, Connor will keep a eye on them.” She calmed down a bit then looked out the window. “Wow we are going very fast...” I laughed. “It’s how I roll. Were here.” I parked in a empty spot and got out. “Come on you just pull that thing there and push.” She looked at the door handle and did just that. She found it amazing how the door opened up instead of out. “Ok come on I think I can pass you off as a student studying this stuff.” We walked in and she sat down in a chair. I approached the front desk. “Hey baby I need to-” She shot up. “Your DJ SomEMan!” I nodded laughing. “I sure am. Now can you help my friend over there? She’s a student studying vet stuff and would like to be a temp nurse here.” She nodded and walked out from behind the desk and over to Shy. “This way sweety.” She looked scared at first but got up and followed. “I’ll pick you up and 4 hours!” I called to her as she dissapered in the back.

When I got back to the house I sat on the couch next to Vinyl. “Everything go well?” She looked over at me and smiled. “Ya, I hope she fits in there. Look at me acting like a dad.” We both laughed. I waisted the day away playing basketball, thinking about new tunes, and of course listening to Shy’s story’s when I went to pick her up. To be honest life had gotten fun around this point.
