Lyra walks hoof in hoof with her fillyfriend Bon Bon all over Ponyville. It was just one of those days where you just need to let off some steam with a nice walk.

They looked at nearby animals and bugs. Butterflies, squirrels, bunnies and dragonflies. There were even a few fillies and colts playing catch in the park.

"I love these kinds of days, Lyra. We can just be ourselves, nopony to judge us, no secrets. All we need right here and right now is each other."

"I feel the same way Bon!"

Bon Bon rested her head on Lyra`s shoulder. "Love ya."

"Love you too." Everything was peaceful. Everything was beautiful. Everything was perfect. At least until Lyra tripped over something and fell flat on her face.

"Hahahahaha...!" Lyra narrowed her golden eyes.

"It`s not funny." Another giggle escaped Bon Bon`s lips.

"It kind of is!" Lyra rolled her eyes.

"Laugh it up. Laugh at me." She batted her eye lashes and extended a hoof. Lyra forgave her fillyfriend quickly and got up. She turned and bent down to examine the object that had embarrassed and hurt her. A small black corner of something was sticking up out of the dirt road.

"What is it?" She looked at it perplexedly.

"Dunno. Help me dig it up." Bon Bon was wary of digging the road to get some mysterious object, but they were not doing anything illegal so she just let it slide.

"Okay." The two mares began digging to deeper and deeper. Each time they scooped up the dirt, more of the object was visible. That didn`t stop their confusion though, it just made it even more puzzling. After a few minutes the whole thing was seeable.

Lyra eyed the 'thing'. She checked out each and every detail. It was big and black. It had the shape of a cube and it had glass in the front. A variety of circles with odd writing underneath them was on the front. Meanwhile, Bon Bon was getting impatient. "Well?!"

"I got nothing." Lyra shrugged.

"Let me look at it." She stepped closer and began to examine it. When she couldn`t tell what it was she got annoyed. "Stupid thing!" She kicked it and it turned on.

A pony appeared on the screen. She began saying the news. None of which sounded familiar. With a closer look they recognized this pony as Golden Harvest or Carrot Top for short. They turned around to find nopony other than Carrot Top herself.

"CARROT TOP!" She fell down from the sudden and scary shout.

"WHAT?!" Bon Bon gestured frantically towards the screen. The yellowy-orange mare turned around and nearly fainted at the sight of herself talking on this weird thing.

"WTF! WHAT IS THIS?! WHAT DID YOU TWO DO?!"

"Nothing! Bon Bon and I found this in the middle of the road!" Carrot Top stepped forward. She poked a button on the 'thing'. The screen suddenly changed and was replaced by some ponies who looked very familiar, yet slightly altered somehow.

Then, a lavender pony appeared on the screen with a look of determination. "Applejack, who reassured me when I was in doubt, represents the spirit of... honesty! Fluttershy, who tamed the manticore with her compassion, represents the spirit of... kindness! Pinkie Pie, who banished fear by giggling in the face of danger, represents the spirit of... laughter! Rarity, who calmed a sorrowful serpent with a meaningful gift represents the spirit of... generosity! And Rainbow Dash, who could not abandon her friends for her own heart's desire represents the spirit of... loyalty! The spirits of these five ponies got us through every challenge you threw at us!"
