Luna's Olympic Moon Games
Chapter 1: Waffles
Luna sat upright, sitting on a golden chair who rose higher than her own head. She let out a smile as she tasted the crisp waffles her dear sister Celestia had made. She waved her hair from her mouth, making cheeky crunches at the brown sauce dripping from the sides. "Hershey's chocolate syrup, the finest in Equestria..." she slowly thought. "Do you want jelly filled center, or frosting?" Luna was in no mood for frosting. "More strawberry jelly, the merrier!" she heartily chuckled.
Celestia soon left her lonely, to keep her thinking about her saviors, Twilight and the team. "A precise gifted girl," she went on. "Very intelligent, brave, honest, short-tempered, but.... fun. Maybe, I could create an event of my own! From the moon, I was born, I will hold all of Equestria to a competition, but fierce." She moved the crumb onto her plate. "I imagine..." Her amazing daydream was to be left, for she needed to contact the amazing Pinkie Pie!
"Enter your number here" A nearby phone spoke. "Hmm... 458- 567- 8897. Contact Pinkie Pie. I'm sure this is her number. I'll really need her advice." she exclaimed. "Pinkie Pie here! Queen of parties and cupcakes! Which one? Parties or cupcakes?May I know who is speaking?"Luna gently shaked her head. "This is Luna speaking. I'd like to join the Olympic Moon Games grant!" Pinkie Pie, in her dessert wonderland, waved a magical wand that she earned from Celestia and --presto!
"The wish is done. It will be 2 days from now. Toodles!"
"Luna," Celestia eavesdropped. "I like your idea. Maybe.... I can help!"
"Starla's already helping, but you could prep the place up. "
"Okay then, do you want to go for a stroll?"
"Lovely."
A burning comet fled the temple. It was none other than Starla, Luna's assistant. She held capable of replacing Luna in missions. The heat and temperature was burning hot, she froze diving into a pool. Luna knew she had come, and teleported her to her castle. By then, Luna was applying red and black striped long sock and slippers. Her lips rosy red, her dreamy black cloak making her as sweet as the mysterious "Mare do Well." "Come for a walk?" she asked.
"Little royalty, I behold a letter." a nearby teacher had gave.
Wait! Her lips quivered as she opened the note.
" Dear Luna,
I'm proud of you. Knowing that I am soon to leave this world for 200 eternal years, I trust you, and your friend Starla to make this mission possible. Yes, it is just a measly event, but the thing is... Nightmare Moon is returning! And the future predicts they will be froze to death, no longer creating harmony, but chaos.
Don't worry, We don't know exactly where the villain is, but.... I'll be able to attend your party. I don't think anyone's went to the moon, but this event is royalty: marked as the Lunar New Year, in exact. But your party will be quite interesting, with red dragons, and horror. This is all I know.
I'm guessing Ms. Sulfur gave you this regarding nonsense. None to worry, I am always with you, and Twilight. God bless you, Luna.
-Celestia.
"What is it, Luna?"
"N-nothing, Starla. A funny letter, hehe.."

Luna was mad to hear all this nonsense. Her dear sister was leaving her, and now she had to do all the magic herself. She embraced the beauty of the world around her, snatched some flowers, buckets, apples, and raced up to the moon temple in the sky. From the starry view, they could see a weary image of Celestia's smiling face spiraling the humongous sun.
While racing up, the two alicorns pushed and bumped each other, Luna bumping Starla's cutie mark, a comet with two stars. The moon temple was stacked so high, only to praise the great moon and sun spirits, who were said to live in both temples- the sun temple and the moon temple. They called themselves Ying and Yang.

Celestia, too; spread her butter wings and flew upwards like a plane. She easily flew, all the way to Outer Space. She ran up to the sun, where she placed her wings in the raging heat, a common sacrifice to the gods. The wings were pouring blood, each drip soaked into the core, where the future is held. The more of blood, the more of the knowledge she gains. She was known to do this every year, sharing most of her knowledge with Twilight.

"Buck them apples more Apple Bloom! We need to make the cider if we want to make these fellers here satisfied!" Applejack hasted. Twilight easily plucked the apples from the tree, tossing them to Applejack, catching the apples with her mouth.
"I'm glad to help, but I've gotta scurry." she insisted.
Traveling to Canterlot, she knew Luna needed her help. Out of nowhere, she gained wings and took flight! "Luna?" she whispered. Finding no abode of her, she settled down, joking as of all this was a dream or a joke.
~ It doesn't make sense, that's the twist part.
