It was morning in Equestria. In the city of Canterlot, Celestia was flying towards the balcony where luna was looking through a telescope, "I'm here Luna, you can go to bed now."

"Thank you sister." Said Luna as she spread her wings then flew off.

Celestia turned the telescope towards Ponyville. She saw that Rainbow Dash was giving a filly named Scootaloo a ride down from her cloud home, to school. Celestia smiled thinking to herself, 'Imagine that. Scootaloo was once an orphan who would rely on other pony's kindness to get somewhere to sleep, and now, she has a home with her sisterly figure Rainbow Dash. I guess technically that would make Rainbow Dash her mother, but hey, my subjects don't know about my mother and father the king and queen of time and space, and yet, they don't question why I'm a princess and not a queen, so, whatever.'

Celestia's parents were two alicorns. Her father was a dark blue stallion with a black mane, and some stars for a cutie mark, His name is Space. Celestia's mother is a white mare with red hair and a clock for a cutie mark, her name is Time. Or at least that was their form, until they turned themselves into a more formless state to become space and time. But that's another story.

Scootaloo was dropped off to the schoolhouse. Celestia turned her telescope away to focus on more important matters. Celestia saw the usual stuff, nothing interesting. Course, she did get to see a colt take apart a wagon to place in his uncles house while he's gone to Canterlot on business. What a classic but funny prank.

Hours later, Celestia decided to take another look at Ponyville. While looking at the market place, Celestia caught sight of Scootaloo doing her after school crusading for her cutie mark by herself (Sweetie Belle and Applebloom were sick in bed, so Scootaloo was on her own today) Celestia giggled at the fillies silly attempts.

'If only she would at the very least think that being athletic was be her kind of cutie mark.' Giggled Celestia.

Celestia was about to turn away to other things when, "WHAT DOES THAT FILLY THINK SHE'S DOING!?" Celestia shouted when she saw Scootaloo do something that was most certainly not what her cutie mark was going to be. The crowd of ponies present at the market place were staring in shock at the filly.

Celestia took her eye away from the telescope. "I can't believe she'd be that stupid!" Celestia said in anger.

At the market place in ponyville, everypony were watching Scootaloo with shocked faces.

"What does that silly filly think she's doing?" Shouted Cherry Berry.

"Is she crazy?" Shouted Ace.

*Giggle* That blank flank is so desperate." Said Diamond Tiara.

Upon receiving more stares than usual, Scootaloo stopped what she was doing. Scootaloo looked in confusion at all the ponies staring at her, "What? What?" Asked Scootaloo in confusion.

Twilight the alicorn quickly trotted towards Scootaloo, "Have you lost your mind Scootaloo!?"

Scootaloo looked around with just her eyeballs, "What? What's wrong?"

"What you did is not legal you know!?" Twilight fearfully shouted in Scootaloo's face.

Scootaloo lowered herself to the position that she makes when she takes a scolding, "Oh my!...I'm sorry twilight. I didn't know." Scootaloo said sheepishly, turning her face away from Twilight.

Twilight opened her mouth to say something when, "SCOOTALOO!" Celestia had teleported to the market place. Everypony except Twilight bowed down.

"Princess!" Said a shocked and scared Twilight, "What brings you here?"

Celestia just made a stern look. "I know what Scootaloo has done." Answered Celestia who turned to Scootaloo, "Meet me and Twilight in the library." Then she turned away and trotted off.

Scootaloo slowly got up. "What do you think she'll do to me?" She asked Twilight nervously.

"I don't know." Said Twilight not taking her eyes off of the princess trotting away.

At the library

Scootaloo walked into the library/tree. Scootaloo looked up at the princess and smiled sheepishly. Celestia just raised an eyebrow, making Scootaloo lower herself to the ground.

"What were you thinking?" Said Celestia.

"Well...um..."

"NO!" Celestia interrupted, "What you did was stupid and dangerous, and not to mention outlawed."

Scootaloo closed her eyes, tears slowly coming down, "I didn't know your highness. I didn't mean to do anything wrong." Scootaloo slowly raised her head to Celestia, only to see her stern look again and lower her face back down again.

"Your highness, please...she's just a filly. Take mercy on her." Begged Twilight Sparkle.

Celestia made a sigh then said, "I will Twilight."

Scootaloo looked back up at Celestia, "Really?" She said softly.

"Of course I will, but you still did something wrong and have to be punished for it." Celestia said, no longer with a stern look.

Scootaloo lowered her head, placing herself into a ball, "Whatever you do to me, I'm sorry." Scootaloo started to cry lightly.

Celestia did something that Twilight wasn't expecting, she gently grabbed Scootaloo and held her gently in her front hooves. Celestia said to Scootaloo gently, "Just be brave Scootaloo, I will grant leniency."

Scootaloo stopped her sobbing, "You'll what?"

"I'll give you the smallest sentence possible." Answered Celestia.

Scootaloo smiled, then dropped it imagining the worst, "What are you gonna do to me?"

Celestia put Scootaloo down, brushed her mane and answered her saying, "I'm sorry, but I have no choice but to sentence you to the dungeon for four years."

Scootaloo turned her head away closing her eyes. "Okay." Scootaloo murmured softly.

Celestia motioned Scootaloo to come to her, and motioned Twilight to step back, both obeyed. Celestia glowed her horn, then in a flash of light, Scootaloo and Celestia vanished.

Scootaloo and Celestia appeared in the royal palace. Scootaloo would've admired the halls but she only thought about her fate.

"Follow me." Said Celestia, Scootaloo obeyed. They came to a brown wooden door with a barred window on it.

"Is this the way to the dungeon?" Scootaloo asked nervously.

"Yes, yes it is." Answered Celestia.

Celestia unlocked the door with her powers, and led Scootaloo down some spiral stairs. When they came to the bottom, there was a light yellow unicorn stallion with a black mane and an ax for a cutie mark sitting behind a desk.

"Why hello your highness. What brings you down here?" Asked the stallion.

"I'm here with a prisoner XN Cutioner." Answered Celestia.

XN Cutioner looked at the filly present, "Are talking about this filly?" Celestia nodded.

"But...what did you do child?" He asked Scootaloo. Scootaloo lowered her head and explained.

After the explanation, XN said, "My my...you've become so desperate for your cutie mark that you've gone and did something like that?" Scootaloo just turned her head away from him.

"Well..." XN picked up a quill and got ready to write something, "What's your name?"

"Scootaloo." XN wrote it down.

"Do you feel remorse?"

"What?" Asked Scootaloo.

"Do you feel sorry for what you've done?"

Scootaloo nodded.

"How old are you?"

Scootaloo just tilted her head, "Why are you asking me these questions?"

XN placed down the quill, "I'm filing paperwork about you."

"Oh." Scootaloo said softly.

"Anyway, how old are you?" Said XN.

"Six."

XN turned to Celestia, "How long is she sentenced here?"

"Four years." Answered Celestia.

"Four...years." XN said while writing it down. "So Scootaloo, are you willing to change your ways?"

"Yes!" Scootaloo immediately shouted in a sad whining tone.

XN smiled and said, "Good. I'll be right back." Then he walked off somewhere

Scootaloo lowered herself to the ground, then said to Celestia, "What does this place serve?"

Celestia trotted to Scootaloo's side, and placed her wing around her. "Hay and water, and on special occasions cherries."

XN returned with a small cage, "Well, the actual cells' bars are too spaced out, you'll be able to squeeze right through, so I'll be placing you in here to keep me company." The cage was made of wood and was shaped like a long half oval, with a small door that had a grey colored lock on it.

XN levitated the cage up onto the ceiling (hooking it up) he then levitated Scootaloo into the cage, closed it and locked it with his unicorn powers. The cage was a little to the right from being directly over XN's desk.

Sobbing, Scootaloo said to Celestia, "I guess I'll never get my cutie mark now."

"Now who says anything of that sort?" Said a shocked Celestia.

Scootaloo slowly dug her hoof into the cage's floor, "Well, I can't go crusading in here."

"Silly, of course you will. You just may or may not be able to use your talent in here." Said Celestia.

"Really?" Asked a sobbing Scootaloo.

"Of course. Now, I better get going..." Celestia said as she turned to trot off, "I've got plenty of royal business to deal with and all."

Scootaloo just wrapped herself up in a ball and laid there in her cage.

XN continued filing his paperwork. While filing paperwork, he said to Scootaloo, "Do you need anything?"

"No." Whimpered Scootaloo.

"Well if you ever do, just tell me. Remember Scootaloo, I'm not here to punish you, your punishment is simply to BE here. Also, if you ever need to use the bathroom, I'll let you out and lead you to my personal restroom. While in there, I'll need you to make haste and not ladde daddle." Explained XN while he was writing something.

Later that night

XN brought Scootaloo a blanket and a pillow. "Here you go my dear. Goodnight." XN blew out the candle that was on his desk.

Scootaloo fell asleep in her cage (even though it was cramped).
