I awoke with a fright. For in my dreams I am not safe. I bit myself to see if I was awake or not.

“Thank god I’m awake...” I muttered.

I jumped out of my bed and looked outside. It was at least one o’clock in the morning. Then suddenly, a crash, startled, I looked around outside. There was an old 1960’s police telephone box wedged into the ground. A head with a scruffy mane popped out from the front doors of the telephone box.

“Well this was unexpected.” He exclaimed.

“What...” I said through my sleepiness.

“You there! What year is it?” He shouted.
I guessed he was talking to me as me and him were the only ones around.

“2012..? Who are you anyway?” I replied.
He returned into his box without answering my question. He rose again 2 minutes later and replied,

    “I’m the Doctor!”

“Doctor what?” I replied with demand in my voice.

“Doctor, just The Doctor.” He exclaimed.
He then proceeded back into the box and came back up not one minute later.

“What to come with me?” He inquired.

    “Where?” I replied.

    “Anywhere!” He shouted.
I then walked slowly towards the box. I heard a rustling behind me. I looked around swiftly to find my cousin, Blazemane, looking at the box with a curious look on his face. He then turned towards me saying,

    “Where are you of to?”

“I don’t actually know myself.” I replied, honestly.

“Can I come?” he grinned with a swift smile.

“Umm…” I wondered, “Ask the guy in the box I suppose.”
Blazemane entered the box, not shortly after he exclaimed,

“Whoa!! It’s HUGE in here!! Hey guy, can I come with?”

“I don’t see why not.” He replied sounding happy.
I then entered the box, and, to be honest, it was pretty big. It was a huge circular room with two stairs on either side, indicating more rooms downstairs. In the centre of the room was a circular panel with a load of small buttons, dials and a few flashing lights.

“Are you ready?” The Doctor asked.

    “Yeah!” Exclaimed Blazemane.

    “I guess…” I replied.

“All righty then…” The Doctor turned towards the panel, “Allons-y!”
He pressed a few buttons and the box shook. It was hard to imagine all this could fit into that tiny box. That was my problem, thought too much, I’d think too much and then I’d get into trouble. After a couple of minutes, me and Blazemane talked to The Doctor about all his adventures. Then, the box (or “TARDIS” as he calls it) shook violently. The Doctor opened the door, and then came at us with a big grin.

    “I think I went off-course.”

“Then why are you grinning?” I inquired.

“’Cos I love adventures!” He said.
He clopped his hooves together and we exited the TARDIS. Immediately there was a big bang and then everything went dark. I thought it was all a dream, I thought the space pony had gone. But then I awoke in what looked like an infirmary.

    The Soviets

I looked around me, The Doctor and Blazemane was there. It was no dream, for it was real. The Doctor looked at me with his big eyes and said,

“You were restless, bad dreams, eh?”

“Yeah, had them since I was a foul.” I confessed.

    “I see…” he replied.
I looked around even more to get in my surroundings. There was a British flag and a few guns in the corner,

    “Where are we?” I asked.

“We are in World War III!” He replied.

“What?! We’ve gone forward in time?! How so?” I asked.

“Through the TARDIS!” He exclaimed, “It stands for, ‘Time and Relative Dimension in Space.’” He replied with a grin.

“So…… We’ve gone forward in time or something?” I asked.

    “Indeed!” He exclaimed.
A pony came in wearing a general’s outfit and a beret. He approached my bed and said,

“Good evening, I believe you came with the Doctor here, is this correct?”

“Yes sir.” I replied with a salute, after all, it was polite.

“Excellent, me and the Doctor go far. I knew him when I was in training camp. Saved us from… what were they called?” the General asked.

    “Cybermen, General.” Replied The Doctor.

“Yes that’s it, and the Doctor saved the camp from the Cybermen and we tried to give him the medal of honour. Alas, he wouldn’t let us give it to him.” The General said.

“Not my style. Won’t go with the tie, you see.” The Doctor said with a grin.
The General sat down on the nearest bed. Then suddenly, his ear pricked up. There was a clink of metal,

“EVERYONE GET DOWN!” Commanded the General.
We all jump below the beds and then there was a big boom. There was a mix of shouting, screaming and some language that I didn’t understand, most probably Russian. I was bitten on the leg and then pulled out from under the bed. It was a surprise attack. The Russians pulled us out from under the beds and next thing I knew I was tied up and thrown into a carriage. I didn’t see the Doctor on the carriage, I was worried. What if I was stuck into the future? What if I didn’t see my family? What about my friends?? Me and my cousin were stuck in 2034 and we couldn’t do anything about it.

Approximately four hours later we were at there camp. It was dark, probably 10ish. They dragged us out of the carriage and lined up with one another. I looked besides me, there was a beautiful pony. Her eyes were a shiny maroon colour, and her mane would have looked excellent if it wasn’t for all the dirt. She looked at me to, and blushed. I was pretty sure I was blushing to.

    “What’s your name?” I asked.

    “Cherry Pie,” she replied, “You?”

“I’m Stormwind, I’m from Ponyville.” I replied, hot in the cheeks.

    “That’s cool.”
Her cheeks were redder than pure red, if it was possible. She got kicked on the back and she walked towards the fire. The man coughed then spoke,

“Are you… Cherry Pie?” He spoke with perfect English.

    “Ye-yes.” She replied.

“Good, you shall die then. Move to the right.”

    “No!” I shouted.

“You have a problem?” The man said.
I stood up. If I was going down, I might as well go down fighting. Like my uncle, Riftwitz. I bucked the nearest soldier in his face. In all the confusion of shooting and bucking, me, Blazemane and Cherry escaped. Through the cold morrow we ran. We stopped when we thought that we were a safe distance away from the camp.

    The Space Pony Returns

We settled down upon the cold, damp grass. Panting, we searched around for any sign of rescue. Then we heard a distant crash. We turned around to find the old police box wedged, once again, in the ground.

“Hello!” Said the Doctor, poking his head out.

“Very well timing, Doctor!” I exclaimed, “We were about to be killed!”

“Very sorry about that, old chap, it’s just that I had cloaked the TARDIS so well, I couldn’t find it. I eventually found it again though.” He explained.

    “Fine…” I groaned.
We entered the TARDIS, settled down and lifted off.

“Are you sure we shouldn’t go back and, I dunno… save them?” I asked.

“We are not allowed to interfere with time that much, you see.” He replied with hast.

    “What about me?” Cherry asked.

“You can go and live in Ponyville with Stormwind and Blazemane I guess.”

“But where will I live?!” Cherry exclaimed.

“You can live with me!” I said aloud.

    “Are you sure?” Cherry inquired.

“Naw don’t worry, my tree house is big enough for both of us.” I replied.

“Okay, thanks.” She pecked me on the cheek and walked of. She probably didn’t know were she was going, but, with girls, you just never know.

    Epilogue

Three years have past since me, Blazemane and the Doctor went out adventuring. I have had a kid with Cherry Pie, whom we named, ‘Joey’. Blazemane went on to write a biography about the adventure and earned thousands of gold.

CRASH! I looked out the window with haste, and saw the Doctor and his box with him.

“I’ve really got to nail them landings…” He muttered, “Hey! Storm! Want to come on another adventure?”

“Of course space pony! Let me grab Blazemane and we’ll be of!” I exclaimed with excitement.
The Doctor looked around. Ponyville was a peaceful place, and that is how it should be kept. Although some thought differently…

    The End…?
