My Little Pony: Jurassic Park

Prologue

The blazing sun shone in the humid air as a pegasus carriage descended near the bustling rustic town. The locals walking and running about selling various tropical fruits and hoof-made knick-knacks to many vacationing tourists; More specifically Canterlot nobility and the upper crust of Trottingham and Manehatten. As the carriage came to a stop, a male, white unicorn wearing a straw hat and purple shades hopped out, magically carrying two suitcases. The lead pegasus raised a hoof to collect the travel fee, but was brushed aside as the unicorn closed the carriage door and walked away.

“Cch, Amareican ponies,” huffed the pegasus as the carriage lifted off.

The White unicorn trotted through the moving crowd as he headed towards one of the local outdoor cafe’s. Almost immediately entering the area, he was flagged down by a mare’s voice.

“Quick Buck! Quick Buck! Over here!” said a blueish mare eating a meal. She had a magic wand with flowing magic as a cutie mark.

“Trixie waited IMPATIENTLY for your arrival,” retorted Trixie. Quick Buck sat in the open chair adjacent to the pouting blue mare.

“Don’t say my name so loudly,” he growled.

Trixie stared at him blankly for a few moments before sarcastically yelling to the crowds, “QUICK BUCK! QUICK BUCK IS HERE!”

The crowd, at first, looked at the two with surprised, quizzical eyes in the sudden outburst of the shouting mare, but they quickly continued on their daily business.

“See, no one here cares about you,” jeered Trixie in a matter-of-fact tone. “What a tacky hat, trying to look more ridiculous that you do now?”

The white unicorn ignored her comment and proceeded in lifting one of the suitcases he had brought along with him, placing on the table.

“Did you bring what Trixie asked for?” she inquired, as she eyed the suitcase.

“Yes. Like you said 21,000 bits up front and 100,000 more when you bring back the living embryos,” Quick Buck said, opening the suitcase containing the 21000 bits. Trixie giggled gleefully as the golden bits twinkled in her eyes.

“Oh, worry not, Trixie will bring all that you desire.” Switching her gaze from the bits to Quick Buck, she inquired, “But how will Trixie transport them off the island?”

With a smirk, the white unicorn brought the other suitcase over and took out a snow globe; The Royal Palace seen visibly inside the glass. Smiling deviously, he answered the blue mare.

“THIS is what you will use to transport the embryos.”

“...a snow globe?” retorted Trixie in disbelief. “Trixie fails to see how this useless souvenir will assist Trixie in her endeavours.”

“Ah, but you see, it only looks like an ordinary snow globe,” Quick Buck began as he shook it. “Hay, it even works like an ordinary snow globe, but on the bottom there’s a secret compartment.”

He then flipped the souvenir upside down and said “Riff Raff.” Suddenly the bottom of the snow globe disappeared, revealing the high tech cooling compartments inside. The mare squealed with delight as she saw the ingenious contraption.

“The compartment is magically sealed, so there is no way anypony can find it,” continued Quick Buck, as he hoofed the snow globe to Trixie. “Just make sure you use ‘Riff Raff’ to open and close it. Remember, we want the living embryos. They are no use to use if they don’t make it of the island.”

“If Trixie says she will deliver, Trixie will DEFINITELY deliver,” she reassured the white unicorn. “As long as your stallion on the boat understands the time agreement.”

The blue mare looked at Quick Buck sternly. He answered her gaze in a similar fashion, “At the east dock, in the boat for park employees, exactly 8 o’clock pm and no later.”

“Good,” Trixie chimed, satisfied with his answer. The cafe waitress came and dropped of the receipt for the meal Trixie was eating. Both of them glanced at the receipt and then back to each other.

“Don’t underestimate Trixie, Quick Buck,” said Trixie with a twisted smile, sliding the receipt towards the unicorn. “That was Rich’s first mistake.”

This is my first time making a fic, and I really, really wanted to do a crossover like this! I have many ideas on what to write, but I decided to focus on this. Also, chapter updates will come up when I have time to think of what to put next, being in college and all. Ah, all the MLP: FiM names belong to Hasbro Inc and the name Jurassic Park belongs to Universal Studios, Spielberg, and others. I do not own any of them. Hope you all enjoy this story. ^_^
