Meet Supernova. His Cutie Mark is an exploding star. According to Cutie Mark Symbolists, that means he will one day kill Princess Celestia.

Supernova has lived on the run from the Guards for years. Everypony he meets is either a tool to be used or an enemy to be destroyed. When he meets Twilight Sparkle in the Everfree Forest, his first thought is to use her to lure Celestia into a trap. To do that, he'll need to befriend her.
