A normal brony is in for a big surprise. In the form of a small group of ponies. Will he be able to cope or will he be driven insane?

The Beginning

I sat back in my chair as the episode began. He brushed his long hair out of his eyes so he could see.
"Thanks for helpin' me pick all these apples, Twilight." Said the small, orange pony known as Applejack. Yes. I am a brony. The intro began and I took this as a chance to go and get a drink since adverts always came on afterwards. I was in the middle of pouring the black liquid out of the bottle before I heard a familiar noise.
"Hey! What is this place!?" The voice exclaimed.
"Ah don't know, Pinkie." Replied another voice "But it doesn't look like we're in Ponyville any more." I rushed into the room to find six ponies stood in my living room. I stared at them and they stared back. Everypony except Fluttershy who had cowered behind the couch. Pinkie Pie bounded up to me and held out a hoof.
"Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie! What's your name?"
"I-I'm J-J-Jake" I stammered in shock. Pinkie Pie and turned to smile at the others.
"Don't worry he seems harmless!" She exclaimed. Fluttershy slowly came out from her hiding place. She looked at me, nervously and I smiled. This seemed to calm her down slightly. She slowly came closer to the rest of the group. I smiled at all six of them.
"Now...how did you get here?" I asked.

The ponies finished their story and I stared at them, my mouth agape.
"S-s-so you were sent here?" I stuttered. All six mares nodded. "But why?"
"Princess Celestia wanted us to learn about different species." Twilight said "She called them 'humans'" I continued to stare at them. So they knew about humans! This was an extremely surprising revelation. All seven of us sat in silence. I heard a sound in the kitchen. It was then that I realised Pinkie Pie was gone. I sighed and got up.

I found Pinkie sat on the floor of the kitchen eating out of a tin of biscuits. I stared at her and she stopped mid-cookie. The cookie dropped out of her mouth and onto the floor.
"Uh..." She began. I laughed and smiled at her. It was just Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie. She realised I wasn't mad and closed her mouth. The corners of her mouth began to quiver. I knew what was coming. I was right. Pinkie burst into a fit of laughter and the other mares rushed in. They smiled at the sight of Pinkie rolling on the floor laughing uncontrollably. Everypony except Rarity and Fluttershy as they weren't the type to drop on the floor and began laughing. From that moment I knew this was going to be hard.

Trying To Cope

It's been a week since the six mares appeared in my house and I can safely say that I have absolutely NOT got used to it. It's almost impossible to get used to having six mares in your house. Especially when one of them always wants to party at all the wrong times. Just yesterday I came downstairs after hearing a loud bang! to discover that not only had Pinkie Pie brought Gummy with her but she had also brought her party cannon. Twilight and Fluttershy are no problem at all. Fluttershy is, well, Fluttershy and Twilight is...kind of...the same. But as for Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash...I. Can't. Cope! Rarity is the worst. She always has something bad to say about my things. Rainbow Dash flies about to much. Applejack just sits on the back garden porch with a blade of corn between her teeth and her hat covering her eyes. Ocasionally she'll spot apples on the trees and buck them off but I don't mind that. It's actually kind of helpful. We'll just have to see whether or not I can deal with these mares.

I ducked as another burst of table decorations soared out of the pink ponies cannon.
"PINKIE!" I yelled. But she didn't seem to hear she just hit the cannon again and more decorations flew out. Soon my living room was brightly decorated.
"Great!" She exclaimed. "Now for the outside!" I stopped her just as she reached the front door.
"You can't go out there." I told her.
"Well why not, silly?" She asked. I thought about it for a moment. It was early. Nobody would be awake. Reluctantly I opened the door and move out of the way. Another bang as Pinkie began decorating the outside. I sighed. A week and I still haven't managed to gain control over the mares. I nodded towards Fluttershy, to signal Pinkie was gone, as she slowly poked her head round the corner of her hiding place. As soon as Pinkie had begun firing the party cannon she had hidden behind the couch. Normally I wouldn't pick favourites but Fluttershy and Twilight would be. They never do anything to annoy me. Twilight just reads and studies humans while Fluttershy just looks at pictures of Earth's animals. Although I do think that Equestria is on Earth and is hidden from humans due to the fact that Spike put a globe on his pile of stolen items. The front door opened and Pinkie came in with her party cannon. I didn't want to know how my neighbours would react to it but what the heck! I watched as she walked upstairs with the cannon.
"Ooh!" I heard her exclaim. "I missed a spot!" Boom! The party cannon went off a final time. I smiled. Confound these ponies.

I spent the rest of the day taking down all of the decorations while having to listen to Pinkie Pie's endless pleas for me not to. Rainbow Dash was flying in the back garden which I didn't approve of but nopony listens to me anyway. Applejack would often challenge her to a race in the garden which, luckily enough, is very large. Pinkie continued to plea with me but I didn't listen. I finally took down the final decoration and sat down, exausted. Taking care of six grown mares is not easy. Especially when one of them is Pinkie Pie.

Not Such A Normal Day

I groaned as I got up out of my bed. Why did this have to happen at three in the morning? I looked down at the green reptile which was now tightly clamped to my leg.
"Really?" I asked. "Now?" Gummy just wiggled his tail. I groaned again and walked out of the room. I was used to it. This happened every morning. It seemed to be the only time Gummy was hungry. I switched on the kitchen light and went for the food Pinkie had brought for Gummy to eat and poured it into a bowl. As soon as my hand let go of the bowl the alligator let go of my leg and began eating the food. I didn't know how he did it without teeth but he was Pinkie Pie's pet. I made my way back up the stairs just in time to see a cyan blur fly out of the window.
"Got get up bright and early for some excersise!" Rainbow Dash shouted back to me hurriedly. I sighed and walked back into my room. This was gonna be a long day.

I walked down the stairs yawning loudly. I heard clattering coming from the kitchen so I headed in that direction. Pinkie had just got a tray out of the oven and placed it on the table. The tray was filled with steaming cupcakes. The scent filled the house.
"I made cupcakes!" Exclaimed Pinkie as she turned round. I smiled and walked back out of the kitchen. As usual everypony else was sat in the back garden. Well...except for Rainbow Dash. She was lying on a cloud. Applejack was sat on the deck with a blade of corn between her teeth, Twilight was reading, Fluttershy was talking to some birds that had landed in my garden and Rarity...she's just Rarity. I sat on the couch. It was odd. It had only been a week but I had almost gotten used to it all. I hadn't quite gotten used to Pinkie Pie yet but I was close. I hadn't had many friends. That was until Twilight and the others showed up. Ever since they came into my life I've been happier than I'd been in years. I knew they would have to leave at some point. I just hoped it wouldn't turn out like My Little Dashie. I heard the door open and I looked up. Twilight and the others came in and all layed on the rug facing me. I looked at them sceptically. Then I realised. I rushed upstairs and grabbed what I needed.

The cold winter air blew through my hair as I walked. Yes. That was what me and the others did everyday. We walked. The green foliage lay on the ground only moving slightly because of the light breeze. We stopped to rest underneath a small oak tree.
"So..." I began. "What's Ponyville like?"
"Eh." Rainbow Dash replied. "It's cool but to calm for me. Not enough speed." I chuckled.
"Hey, Pinkie. Who's taking care of Sugarcube Corner?" I asked. No answer. "Pinkie?" I turned round to find both Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy missing. My eyes widened in fear. I got up and began to run.

The foliage shot up around my feet. It had begun to get dark and I was almost ready to give up. I had looked everywhere. Under trees, behind bushes even in trees. But I still couldn't find her.I was about to fall to the floor and give up when I saw a lone figure lying on the ground. I rushed over to find Pinkie Pie lying there, shivering. Her teeth were chattering and tears were streaming out of her eyes. The others rushed over and I noticed another figure running off into the distance.
"Rainbow Dash!" I shouted. "Go after them. Me and the others will stay here with Pinkie!" Rainbow Dash flew up into the sky and over the trees. I turned the shivering pony over to find a gash on her stomach. My eyes widened. There was nothing I could do about this. I couldn't take her to a hospital and I had no way to get to Equestria.
"Get back here!" Shouted a voice. I dived sideways and grabbed the figure.
"No you don't!" I looked at the figure to find... "Fluttershy!?" all of us were shocked. Pinkie Pie slowly opened her eyes. When she caught sight of the pegasus she began to panic.
"I-I-I-I didn't mean to." Fluttershy stammered. "I was scared. I thought Pinkie Pie was somepony else. I grabbed the closest thing I could to defend myself." I looked at the sobbing yellow mare.
"Does anypony know a way to Equestria?" I asked. Everypony except Twilight shook their heads. "How?" I asked. Twilights horn began to glow brightly and a beam shot out and then dissapeared into the sky. A distress signal. And sure enough at that moment a group of ponies appeared carrying a gurney. I looked at them. I was suprised at their lack of reaction after seeing me.
"Ponies get sent to this world all the time." Twilight explained. "Research." The ponies dissapeared in a flash along with Pinkie. This would not end well. But for now all we could do was wait.
