Having failed in their mission to prevent the Crystal Empire from declaring war against Equestria, Nature Spark (a blind unicorn), Downpour, Backdraft (two pegasus brothers), Discipula Star (Luna's protégé) and their strange group of friends have set out on separate missions, given to them by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna to contain the damage. Their success could mean a more peaceful end to the violence and bloodshed that the current steward of the empire, Duke Doré Langue, has caused, while failure could result in the deaths of the royal sisters, as well as the loss of countless innocent lives. Blood will be shed, traitors confronted and lives forever changed as someone in the shadows weaves a devious plot...
