With the recent victory over the Unliving Queen fresh on their minds, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Star Swirl the Bearded begin to investigate just who or what was responsible for Luna and Twilight Sparkle's fall from grace. They soon discover that Princess Celestia has not been the only one observing and manipulating events to fulfill their own interests and agendas. As they endeavor to thwart the machinations of this corruptive entity, unbeknownst to them the predictions of an ancient doomsday prophecy start to be fulfilled.

Can they vanquish the demons and prevent the coming Armageddon, or is this truly the end of days?
