For decades ago a rich family of ponies had lived in a farm by Baltimare, who had stood empty for a long time. Some jealous ponies from Baltimare's alleys began to protest over how very wealthy those ponies had been.

"Let's burn down the farm tonight." an alley pony told his friends one Nightmare Night evening.

"Yeah, let's do it after what these greedy ponies had done to us." another pony said to the gang leader.

So later that night had the gang of ponies burnt the farm down, but the rich ponies went away quickly. Later on in the winter was the wealthy family returning to the farm they rebuild.

"I had been hoping for this family to stay away from that farm they once lived in, or this would not had happened." Uncle Strude told a newspaper.

The royal Canterlot tried to keep the rich family return as a secret, but the gang leader found them after setting the farm on fire. That gang leader had ran up in the Canterlot mountains by taking the lives of the whole family on Nightmare Night. The rich father and his family had been found stabbed by a knife. Many ponies chose to move from Baltimare after these events.

"Me and my six friends refuse to go up in that abandoned farm to solve the case." Spike told the newspaper.

The Canterlot guards also refused to visit that abandoned farm, and left the murder mystery alone. One of the surviving family members had been on a camp with her friends in the forest near Baltimare a summer many years later. A week had passed while nothing happened. It was like everypony had forgot what happened in that remote and abandoned farm.

"This once had been one of the most famous and wonderful camps in Equestria." a mare told the press.

That camp laid near a lake by the forest. But the friends to the mare wondered why the mare were out in the foirest at night. The mare kept on searching for her family in the forest. At last were the mare going crazy, and drowned herself in the lake. Then the camp closed too because ponies had been scared of the ghost of the drowned pony, who kept on searching for her family and the murder that still were around somewhere.
