On one particular month, a wanderer comes to nearly every city in Equestria. He brings with him the concept of a sport that will change the kingdom forever: football, known to the ponies as longball.

By declaration of Princess Celestia, the new sport becomes national, and with the season starting in two months, Ponyville must compile a team to start the season. What's the name of their team, you ask? The Ponyville Elements.
