The afternoon had fallen on Ponyville, but this wasn´t a normal afternoon for the Ponyville habitants, the attention of everyone was on the center of the city, where a fight between three Griffons and one local vegeatables seller was taking place.

" I tell you I want carrots you incompetent! " one of the griffons shouted at the frightened pony.

" I...I´m...sorry b...but all of them were sold out this m..morning " he said with terror in his face.

" Well we don´t care about it...you better bring more or we´ll be making you suffer and believe me... we did not play when it comes to suffering" shouted a second griffon, while the third one held the helpless pony with his claws.

The rest of the citizens were shouting at the griffons to leave the pony alone.

At the same time a unicorn with a backpack that no one else had seen before was walking towards the scene, few of the citizens take notice of the stranger. He only look at the fight, sighed and continued his way towards the town. One of the griffons noticed about it.

" Hey guys look at that " he said to his partners while raising an eyebrow and pointing at the unicorn.

The other griffons turned and saw the odd pony peacefully walking.

" Mhm forget it... he knows he could not do a thing... let him keep walking like the frightened coward he is" the appareantly leader of the griffons shouted at him.

At this the unicorn stopped walking, still remaining in silence

" What in the name of Celestia its happening here? " the mayor of Ponyville shouted at the fight scene.

" MAYOR! " the helpless pony yelled in joy. " Thanks to Luna and Celestia that you are here! these griffons have been taking me like a punching bag since the afternoon! "

" I noticed that...who do you think you are?!...you just can´t come to Ponyville causing this kind of trouble... you better apologize to stop this madness !" the mayor angrily shouted to the griffons, to this point they had already let go the local seller.

" NOW YOU DON´T TELL US WHAT TO DO STUPID PONY " The griffon leader said and with a claw punched the mayor in the face letting her in the floor towards the rest of the ponies. The crowd gasped at this and someponies helped the mayor to get up.

" Now this had gone really far now, don´t you think? " a voice came from behind.

The crowd turned to the white coated unicorn with a black and grey mane that had putted his backpack on the floor.

Twilight Sparkle was arriving at the scene with the rest of her friends and noticed the pony that was facing the griffons.

" Who is that guy? " Twilight asked to her friends raising an eyebrow.

" Ah´ don´t know, ah´ never seen him ´fore " Applejack responded with a confused look on her face.

" For that matter what its happening here? " Rainbow Dash said.

" These griffons have been causing trouble since the afternoon, they have punched the mayor already! " Lyra- that was on the crowd- responded to Rainbow Dash and the rest of the mares.

" Oh yeah?! so lets see if they do the same to me! Hold on I´ll take care of this " Rainbow Dash said with a hoof in her chest.

" Now hold on sugarcube we don´t want trouble! " Applejack yelled at Rainbow while holding her tail to stop her.

" Well, well, well...what do we have here?...the coward pony from later pretending to be a hero!...what are you going to do COWARD?! "

" Look I didn´t want troubles later but after seeing what you do to that mare, I don´t care about getting my hoofs full of dirt with some big mouth griffons anymore... so... I´ll give you 3 seconds to go away and don´t come back... but If you don´t...all of you will be wishing you never had the courage to came here just to make troubles " the white unicorn said with a serious expression to the griffon.

" HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA don´t make me laugh... you a stupid unicorn all by yourself it´s gonna beat us?!...oh yeah I am really scared! " the second griffon said sarcastically.

" I really recommend you to take the advise..." said the unicorn has a final statement.

" You want to fight? Bring it on tough guy!.." said the third one.

" 1..." he starded the count.

" Are you serious with this?! " said the leader of the griffons.

" We have to do something...! " Rainbow Dash excalimed

" 2..."

" What is he doing? " Twilight said to herself.

"OHMYGOSH I don´t want to see this" said Pinkie Pie with her hoofs on her eyes. "But still I´m going to... ! "

" 3..." The unicorn finished counting.

" Lets go get him " the leader griffon started running towards him.

"..." the unicorn remained silent.

" TAKE THIS..." the griffon yelled at the unicorn while approaching incredibly fast.

" Whoa!!! " the griffon shouted. " What the...where is he? "

" Whoa he teleported himself like you Twi! " Pinkie Pie exclaimed.

" I don´t think so..." Twilight reponded with a serious and confused look in her face.

" What ?! " the five mares exclaimed.

" You see...when the unicorns use magic to teleport there is a flash of magic and I didn´t see anything... he just dissapeared..." mentioned Twilight.

The five mares remained silent and very confused.

" HEY...over here " the voice of the unicorn came from behind the griffon.

" How did you..? UGH!!! " He tried to said but was interrupted from a punch of the unicorn in the face letting him knocked out in the floor.

"Whoa...thats gotta hurt..." Applejack muttered.

" Hey you are playing dirty...! " one of the griffons shouted at him.

" Oh yeah...and you were playing clean or something? " the unicorn responded.

" I gonna teach you you little...y...you..lit.." He tried to attack but it was to late the unicorn had ran over and punched him in the stomach sticking out his breath, the griffon collapsed on the floor trying to catch his breath.

" He made beating that griffons looked so easy.." said Rainbow Dash

" Let´s see here I´ve already knocked out your boss and let another one rolling in the floor...you have something to say? " he asked with a raised eyebrow to the last of the griffons.

" How...this ca...this can´t be! " he yelled in desesperation to the unicorn.

" Look I´ll give you a second chance, grab your friends and go away...and if I see you causing trouble again... I will have no compassion.. Understood? " he said to the frightened last griffon.

He grabbed the other griffons over with his claws and started flying and shouting to the unicorn. " This...this ain´t over !.

" You know I´m pretty sure that it´s over " he responded.

" We´ll met again you little scrup! "

" I´ll be waiting... but really I think that all of you will not come back.. for your own sake" he responded threateningly.

The griffon just turned around and fly away from Ponyville with his partners knocked out being held in his claws.

" YEAH WOHOO, THAT WAS AWESOME.." The crowd started to clap at him, even the mayor was shouting while approaching to the still stranger pony.

" Well thank you...stranger that was really good from your part ! " the mayor said to the unicorn that remained in slience.

" Let me introduce myself I am the mayor of this town... Ponyville... and for the fact that I´ve never see you around I have to say...WELCOME TO PONYVILLE..HA HA HA" she said with a voice full of joy." And again... thank you for all " she said and then trotted away like the rest of the crowd, with the exception of Twilight and her friends. The unicorn just grabbed his bag again and continued his way across Ponyville.

" Hey " Twilight said to the pony."Where are you going? ".The unicorn still remained in silence not wanting to do eye contact with Twilight.

" ´ey we are talkin´ to ya´! " Applejack yelled at him.

Twilight get towards the unicorn and put a hoof in his shoulder... making him stop and look at her. " Look I want to talk to you... would you mind listening?" Twilight said to him.

" All right, all right what is it? " the unicorn said at her.

" We want to thank you for helping the old carrot and the mayor...for a stranger thats a good action from your part..."

The unicorn nodded and said. " Well... you have nothing to thank about... I just do what I have to do, but I have to admit...I wasn´t going to do anything.. at the first place ".

" Anyway that was nice...coming from a stranger again " she said with some joy in her voice. " Well... I have to introduce myself to you...my name is Twilight Sparkle I´m a personal magic studient from Princess Celestia and these are my friends.

" Howdy mah´name is Applejack and ah´ work bucking apples on Sweet Apple Acres where yah´ are well recieved all the time nice... to meet you."

" I´m Rainbow Dash and MEN could you show me sometimes some of that quick moves that was awesome"

The unicorn let out a chuckle.

" Bonjour my name is Rarity and I make the most beautiful dresses here in Ponyville... for not saying In all of Equestria and let me say to you that outfit could not be my style but you look very well on it !... and you know you can ask me for anything you want !" Rarity said fancy.

" Thanks... I guess? " he said at Rarity

" HEY THERE... my name is PINKIE PIE and if you are staying please tell me that you are staying cause that´ll be very awesome I always like to meet new friends and I can make a HUGE welcome party to the town with CUPCAKES, BALLOONS, MUSIC and not booooooriiiiing music I mean FUN music that will make you dance and..."

" PINKIE!! " Twilight shouted at her. " Pinkie I think he got it already! "

" Thanks " the unicorn muttered to her. Twilight let out a chuckle

" Well thats good to know Pinkie..and tell me... Who are you?" The unicorn said pointing at Fluttershy

"Eep.." Fluttershy get scared immediatly.

" Um...excuse me?" the unicorn raised an eyebrow.

" M...my name is Flutt..."

" Come again? " he said raising an eyebrow

" My name is Fluttershy" she said with a low voice making him not able no listen.

"Oh... I see" the unicorn realized about the frightened that the canary yellow pegasus was." Um..look I noticed that you are very shy but it´s OK you know?...don´t be scared... look... my name it´s Caretaker...but you can call me Carter everyone calls me like that...and I promise you that you can always count on me whenever you need me...and if you let me be your friend I well be very greatful... so tell me..What´s your name?..." he said with a hoof on her shoulder.

" My name it´s Fluttershy! " Fluttershy exclaimed. At this the rest of the mares were open-mouthed. "And thank you mister..er...I mean..C...Carter... and I´m an animal caretaker... "

Carter giggle himself as Fluttershy herself.

" Hey thats pretty funny...when you think about it ! " He said this time laughing with Fluttershy.

" What did just happen? ". Twilight tought to herself with a hoof on her chin. " I´ve never seen Fluttershy get that confident with... a stranger... there its something about this guy that makes her feel confident..this guy it´s special... and I can tell that just by seeing what he just did later with the griffons...that way to move that fast and fighting so well... and now making Fluttershy feel that confident ".

Carter stopped laughing and turn to the rest of the mares. " So yeah...my name´s Caretaker and again you can call me Carter... and nice to meet all of you".

The five mares snapped out and Twilight get herself to talk with him. " Hey... it´s getting late... did you have somewhere to stay?"

" No.. but I have my tent for camping here in my bag...so I think I will be great just with that " he answered to Twilight.

" Oh...you know the library where I stay its very big so...why you don´t stay with me?...er I mean in the library..." Twilight said nervously.

" Well that´ll be nice of your part but you know... I´m still being practically a stranger for you " he said with a raised eyebrow.

"Of course you can stay... and for that matter I saw what you did fighting that griffons... and now what you did with Fluttershy I have reasons to trust you now..."

" Well then, thank you so much Twilight" Carter said to Twilight with admiration in his look.

" Good that yah´r staying...well I gotta go ah´ have to woke up early tomorrow that apples are not gona buck themselves out of the trees.. ah´ll see you tomorrow guys" Applejack said while trotting away.

Rainbow Dash yawned and said." Yeah I´m on my way to bed too... so I´ll see you tomorrow, nice to meet you Carter and really I´m expecting YOU to teach me that fighting moves...well see ya´! " Rainbow Dash flew away letting a rainbow road behind her.

" I have to take a look on my animals before I go to bed so I´ll be going too...thanks again mister Carter I hope to see you tomorrow" Fluttershy exclaimed while trotting away.

" Are you all serious are you leaving now? but we can make a party a VERY FUN PARTY right now I can take Dj-Pon3 and make a loud and full of dancing fun party and I can make cupcakes too! do you like cupcakes I love cupcakes not like Derpy that likes muffins the muffins are not my thing but PIES I love Pies! I can call Soarin from the Wonderbolts and he will come immediatly but..." Pinkie Pie said without breathing until Rarity grabbed her from the tail.

" ALLRIGHT ALLRIGHT PINKIE... we can do that another time we have to sleep its very late now...see you tomorrow Twilight and welcome again Carter " Rarity said while dragging Pinkie from the tail..

Twilight nodded and said." OK let´s head out to the library don´t you think? "

" Of course" Carter responded.

"SPIKE, SCOOTALOO I´M HOME.." Twilight yelled at the entrance of the library. " So Carter what did you think about the library?

" It´s very big actually so where did..."

" Hey Twilight we are here and ow..." Spike said interrupting Carter.

" Hey!... who are you? " Scootaloo said from the side of Spike.

" He is Carter and he will be staying with us for awhile" Twilight replied to Spike and Scootaloo.

" I think this place its getting Over-populated Twi " Spike said raising an eyebrow to Carter.

" SPIKE! How could you say that the library its very big and he made a lot of help in a fight in the afternoon! so I offered him the guest room for him to stay! " Twilight shouted at Spike.

" But Twiligh..."

" Hang on Spike" Scootaloo put a hoof in his mouth. " If Twilight thrusted him we have to thrust him as well.."

" I don´t know its something strange about him " Spike said looking at Carter "OK Scoots just for you" Spike turned to face her. "And I will be watching you buddy" And then they left each one to their rooms"

"What just happened?! " Carter exclaimed to Twilight.

" Just ignore them...you know how are the young ones when they are in love" Twilight responded.

"In love?" Carter raised an eyebrow. " But there was a dragon and a fillie!" he exclaimed

" You know.... thats another story for another day" Twilight said to him

" Allright...anyway...where I am staying..?" he asked with a tired voice.

" Oh...of course follow me please..." Twilight responded.

Twilight had already shown Carter his room and she stayed thinking on her own bed. " Well I think carter it´s a great pony but still there is something strange in him he is not a normal unicorn...well I trust I can know him better tomorrow but for now I have to sleep." Twilight closed her eyes and fallen asleep.
