CHAPTER 11: CHAOS - PART 2

As the black clouds shrouded the skies overhead, Discord signaled his dragons to stop bringing destruction upon Canterlot for the moment. There was a looming silence for a little while as any surviving ponies, wounded or not; remained in place, looking towards the sky as their Princesses prepared for battle, as well as the leaders of the guard as they prepared to battle the horrific queen of changelings. It was frightening to see how confident both Chrysalis and Discord were about their positions, they simply stared down their enemies with no doubt they'd prevail.

Perhaps this was a sign for the dark future to come. Soon pouring down from the black clouds was warm ashen rain, it poured heavily ceaselessly over the ruined city of Canterlot as it helped dwindle the flames somewhat, as well as drenching everypony below. The suspense was overwhelming as Discord and the Princesses seemed to be locked in a battle of stares, just waiting for one to make a move. As well as Chrysalis down below.

Celestia then broke the silence by calling out to her sister in a commanding tone. "Luna, don't worry about me, I'll hold off Discord for the moment, I realize now what I must do. You go deal with the dragons, I don't want the beasts attacking anymore than they have, I'll be fine."

Luna was hesitant as she shot discord an angered glance, even she was surprised by her own behavior, not too long ago she'd have attacked him on sight, but now she was able to keep her cool. She sighed heavily as she nodded to Celestia, then turned to look at the area surrounding the city, the mighty beasts still lurking in wait for their acting leader to give some sort of command, but they wouldn't need it seeing as they'd be forced to defend themselves in the next few seconds. Luna shot further into the sky as her voice echoed across the land. Her tone elegant and powerful as was familiar with the Princess "Prepare yourselves beasts, for those who attack Canterlot, shall face the night itself!"

As Luna shouted those words, the very air around her began to shimmer and blacken intensely. The dragons then all rose, flying into the sky as they got the message, they were unafraid of the little pony that boasted so much. But they couldn't forget they were dealing with the creature that also diffrentiated the day between the night, that had the power to turn the skies black and even raise the moon. This was the guardian of the night, no, being overconfident would get them killed. Majority of them puffed smoke from their nostrils as they flapped their mighty wings, awaiting Luna's attack. But one of them grew impatient and simply let off a piercing roar, charging the princess and then releasing a mighty flame.

Luna's face was the pure definition of concentration as she propelled to the left in mid flight, flapping her beautiful alicorn wings in one swift powerful motion, dodging the flame and spinning as she did so. Her horn pulsed with an intense dark blue color as she let off a mighty blast of magic in one of the dragon's direction. Her half of the battle had begun.

As Discord simply ignored Luna's battle going on around him, he looked at Celestia with some sense of nostalgia. Discord was still smirking but his eyes saddened somewhat. It was as if he were reminiscing over the times he spent here in Canterlot, and with the Princesses. It was a sign of respect in some form, he looked over at Celestia with a sense of respect and nostalgic remembrance. To him, this battle was already over, and he hadn't been so excited for so long, so on edge about ensuring everything went perfect at the right exact moment. To Discord, he'd never have enemies like these two ever again, such challenge would never exist in this universe ever again. Discord simply looked down with a heavy sigh as he muttered. "Well, I'm going to miss you Celestia, and even your hot tempered sister now that I think about it."

Celestia raised a brow at Discord as his smirk hastily disappeared from his face and he to looked concentrated and serious. Such an expression she hadn't seen from the draconequus in so many years that felt like an eternity. It was an expression that sent a shiver down Celestia's spine. His piercing eyes as he was focused, his face devoid of any emotion. Celestia was immediately thrown back to the time when she'd first encountered Discord. As she looked upon him as the rain poured down heavily over the both of them, she saw that same creature she'd known in days lost to the fabric of time. Days where she would consider herself young, she saw a younger more innocently stubborn draconequus, and it caused a single tear to slide down her cheek, although one couldn't diffrenetiate the tear between the rain. She simply bit her lower lip before speaking before smiling somewhat at Discord. "Save your confidence for a time when it matters."

Discord simply stated. "I'll give you the benefit of the doubt...." He was then gone as Celestia's eyes snapped wide. Discord reappeared behind her in a single swift motion with eyes intent on killing, in one claw he wielded a mighty jawbreaker sword with sharpened edges that Celestia recognized the moment she'd seen it. She turned as fast as she could as this single attack seemed to send the world into a slow-mo state, it was a race against time as Celestia's hooves were lit with fire and in a split second she'd use one of her forelegs to swap Discord's oncoming blade out of the way.

An explosion set off in the skies.

Chrysalis simply continued to chuckle as she burst into laughter at the sight of the four ponies willing to defy her. Willing to go against somepony who'd actually trained with Celestia, a creature who'd fought one on one with a goddess, a queen of her race, these ponies were truly fools. Chrysalis soon quieted down as she gave the four of them an amused look, looking down at them from atop the steps, down into the courtyard. She smirked sinisterly as she cocked her head to the left speaking in a humored tone, "So don't keep me waiting you all, you going to attack or what?"

Bravemane looked to Sombra, they both nodded in unison as they then set their eyes on the queen. Sombra and Bravemane then burst forward on their hooves, Bravemane weilding his sword in his forehooves as he propelled off his hind legs and bursted into the sky in a swift powerful jump, descending right atop Chrysalis. Sombra was right beside him as he summoned two blackened weapons manifested through dark magic, he was suddenly on Chrysalis's right side. Bravemane on Chrysalis's left side as they each swung, intending to kill.

Chrysalis simply remained there with her devious smirk, unafraid of their blades.

Bravemane and Sombra's eyes widened as they'd certainly cut into something but it wasn't their target. Fiercely taking in their attacks were two changelings, one who purposely moved himself in the way to block his queen from any harm while the other threw himself in the way of Sombra's attack. Sombra and Bravemane's eyes were wide as the green blood splattered on their faces. Bravemane felt his mind go blank, They sacrificed themselves without a second thought.....

Sombra irked, gritting his teeth as he snapped. "EDEN!"

Eden, the young blue colt, made his way forward with a determined expression as he was already in the process of casting his spells. "I know!" He moved with haste as suddenly a multitude of dark colored spells burst forth from his horn and fore hooves, spells that sent a multitude of the changeling subjects back. Eden stood on his hind hooves as he swung his forehooves into the air and upon stomping on the ground, he'd summoned what appeared to be a barrier madeup of the very night sky, sparkling with the very stars as it surrounded the perimeter, trapping the four of them as well as Chrysalis inside. He'd made a makeshift arena, but it wouldn't last long. The changelings reacted violently to the surprise attack from such a supposedly young pony, they banged against the barrier, desperate to get in and protect their queen as they shouted her name.

Chrysalis raised a brow, a little surprised by such high grade defensive magic. "Oh?..."

Eden gritted his teeth as he winced somewhat, his body shuddering every moment the multitude of changelings banged against his barrier. He snapped "Whatever you guys are going to do, do it now. I can't keep this up forever you know!"

Sombra smirked as he pushed the changeling corpse from his weapons, as did Bravemane. "Thanks, don't worry, we have all the time we need now." Sombra then nodded at Bravemane as they then closed in on Chrysalis once again, swinging their weapons at her, this was it, she was defenseless!

Chrysalis simply closed her eyes with a slight yawn as her horn lit a bright green, and once again the two attacking ponies found their weapons halted by an immovable force. Their hooves trembled as they gritted their teeth, a transparent green mist was holding their blades back as Chrysalis then eyed the two of them with a look of disinterest. She stated simply with a slight smile, "You two are going to have to try harder. Did you truly think me so weak?"

Bravemane and Sombra continued to snarl angrily as they tried to move, but they were stuck in place, the Queen's magic holding them like their bodies weren't even their own. Was she truly this powerful? Were they simply flies compared to the state the queen of changelings was in now?

Chrysalis didn't regard them for the moment however, what she wanted was the frightened mare looking upon her still unable to move at the sight of her.

Ellie was frozen, her body trembled as her eyes were wide with dread as she looked upon her old friend, still unable to bring herself to join in on the attack. She simply stood in the courtyard, shaking her head as Chrysalis took a few trots forward towards the petrified mare.

Chrysalis giggled, amused. "Aw, how sweet...."

Bravemane's eyes snapped wide as he gritted his teeth infuriated. "Brightmare! What're you doing! Snap the buck out of it, she's coming, don't just stand there! Defend yourself!"

Sombra and Eden both shot desperate glances at Ellie as the mare only continued to look upon her friend. Sombra like Bravemane, was unable to move. Eden was busy holding the barrier, not too far from Ellie.

Ellie took a few trots in reverse as Chrysalis only continued her approach. As she looked into the queen's eyes, she could only be overcome with fear, dread, denial. She recalled the times she and Chrysalis would talk in the kitchen, such a sweet pony, probably the kindest one she'd ever met. She remembered the times she and Chrysalis would spend their free time together, telling jokes and just funny stories of the things they'd witnessed together. She reflected on the time when they were such close friends. And why was it that only now could Ellie see just how much she'd lost. She attempted to recall such close friends, such family, why was it that Chrysalis was the only one who appeared in her head. There was nopony else! She couldn't do this. She couldn't attempt to cut down probably the closest thing she'd come to family in so many years, years she spent dwindling away studying, being serious, a shut-in. She shook her head at Chrysalis desperately, as if pleading with her not to come any closer.

Chrysalis simply continued to approach the mare with a smile.

Ellie then surged forward on impulse. She had her blade levitated as she put on an intimidating face as she charged the changeling queen, Chrysalis however only continued her approach as Ellie rapidly closed in on her. Chrysalis didn't falter, and she barely reacted to the mare's sudden charge. Ellie lifted her blade, letting off a piercing roar as she swung it down upon Chrysalis, and her blade halted only a few inches from the changeling's head.

Sombra and Bravemane, as well as Eden looked upon the two engage in combat with wide eyes, curious to what just transpired. Bravemane's heart raced, he looked at Ellie desperately, was her blade stopped in a similar fashion to how his and Sombra's attacks were? He pleaded with himself silently that this was the case.

But as the silence drew on, there was no green mist surrounding Ellie, it was just her with a broken expression as her body trembled and she shook her head, she muttered. "I– I can't do this..."

Bravemane snapped wildly. "ELLIE!"

Chrysalis simply grinned, the situation ended as they both expected. A sadistic smile creeped onto the changeling queen's face as she had a psychotic expression, chuckling as she peered into Ellie's eyes. "This is just too funny, you truly love me. I can feel it, the delicious substance surging through your body. You, a pony, in love with a changeling! It only makes your ignorance of the situation shine even more Ellie, it's pathetic!" Chrysalis burst into laughter as she flung her head back as her horn surged with energy, she then pressed onward as she shot a blast of magic towards Ellie with that maniacal smile yelling as she did so. "You are clueless to everything! There is no us, there never was! You're just a creep!"

Ellie's expression worsened drastically as her eyes shot wide and she looked upon Chrysalis tragically. However she did mangage to cut through Chrysalis's attack, but she was easily being overtaken. She took a trot back and with each trot in the opposite direction, Chrysalis only pressed on with hers. Chrysalis only continued to let off blast after blast as Ellie's defensive swings only got less and less accurate. Chrysalis shouted as she proceeded with her assault. "You're just a weak pony who has no idea what she's fighting for! A pony who defends an unjust cause, a pony following the herd! Those talks of a life after this, a life after the Gala, to think you have such dreams! I was just as clueless, just as foolish! Ponies and Changelings will never trot together, you daft little pony, accept it!"

Ellie snapped at Chrysalis with tears in her eyes as she halted her blade. "Then enlighten me!"

Chrysalis then paused, looking at Ellie with wide eyes. Once again, she revealed some shred of her former self as she looked the mare in the eyes. Chrysalis felt irked, taking a few trots back. She winced somewhat at Ellie, "What?"

Ellie's eyes were wide with desperation as she pleaded with Chrysalis. "Tell me! What must I do to earn your acceptance!? I'll do anything, anything! I don't know the situation, I don't know why you're acting like this! But please... please don't leave me to." Ellie looked down as the tears streamed down her cheeks and she seemed broken by such words.

Sombra snarled somewhat as he winced angrily at Ellie. Pathetic!

Bravemane was in shock as he heard her. Damnit Brightmare....

Eden simply looked at Ellie with saddened eyes as he continued to hold up the barrier.

Chrysalis then looked at Ellie quite interested, she smirked somewhat as she raised a hoof. "Alright, I know what I can do with you Ellie....yes, I know exactly what I can do with one such as yourself...you see, looking at you only upsets me more. I'm tired of liars, but your feelings are genuine. I don't have time to explain everything and have you turn against me then, but ultimately I'm quite pleased you asked. So I'll do this for you–"

There was a brief silence as everypony waited for the queen to speak.

Chrysalis grinned. "Turn your blade on yourself, and slit your throat." As Chrysalis said this, her eyes began to glow a vibrant green color, staring right into Ellie's eyes.

Ellie seemed shocked at first, but as she stared into Chrysalis's eyes, she was overcome with the need to obey her orders. Her eyes to started to glow green as she then slowly levitated her blade, slowly bringing it to her own throat.

Chrysalis cackled somewhat as her eyes widened with eagerness. No more loose ends......

Bravemane couldn't believe what he was seeing, he put all his strength into moving as he attempted to fight desperately against the queen's spell. He shouted as he did so "Buck! B-Brightmare don't do this! You moron! That's an order! What're you doing!? Brightmare!"

Ellie simply pressed the blade against her throat, fur strands of her coat hanging over the blade's edge as she brought it to her skin.

Chrysalis chuckled playfully. "This is what ignorance gets you in the end. Only tragedy, and chaos!"

Suddenly tackling the changeling queen from her side was the young Eden. Chrysalis's eyes snapped wide as she shot her glance to the left What!? She tumbled to the ground as did Eden. The barrier surrounding them shattered as the changelings poured forth. But as Eden's barrier shattered, so did Chrysalis's concentration, as well as her powerful hold she had on Sombra and Bravemane. They didn't hesitate to begin attacking the oncoming changelings, holding them off as best as they could in such a bleak situation.

Ellie's eyes returned to normal as she shook her head, a little dizzy from what had just occurred. "W-What?"

Chrysalis hurriedly rose to her hooves as she seemed infuriated with the young colt. Her horn began to glow a vibrant green once more as Eden was still staggering to his hooves. The rain drenching all of them as Chrysalis let off a piercing yell "Ignorant whelp! You trifle with business that has nothing to do with you! And such an idiotic decision will cost you your life!"

Chrysalis let off a mighty blast straight towards the colt.

Eden's eyes widened as he saw the incoming light, but felt he couldn't react in time, still tired from holding up the barrier, he simply stared at his oncoming demise with a tired expression.

But in the flash of the moment, there was a figure that pushed the colt out of the way, taking his place in the path of the blast of magic. Chrysalis's eyes widened as she saw a determined Ellie fearlessly take her target's place.

The world slowed down once more as Bravemane caught a glimpse of the situation, being overcome with dread. NO!

As the blast made contact, Ellie was consumed by green fire, followed by an explosion. Her body shuddered as she was flung across the sky and practically all of her armor fell from her body in the scene. She soon descended, limply hitting the ground, tumbling and skidding across the pavement as she laid a few feet away, motionless. The entire right side of her face, especially her eye was charred, and her left hind leg was smashed, shattered.

Eden simply laid on the ground wide eyed as he rushed over to the aid of the mare, shaking her as he shook his head.

Sombra simply scowled at the mare. "This was her own doing..."

Chrysalis simply looked upon her old friend some distance away with a disinterested expression. "Moron....tch!"

As Discord and Celestia were still doing battle in the skies. That battle soon came to a immediate halt once again. Discord reappeared some ways from Celestia, still with that expression of melancholy. "The time draws near dear Celestia. So before the end, I want to give you a better picture of what occurred on this night."

Discord withdrew his sword as he spread his arms. "Phase fighting, mastery of time magic in the form of dimensional rifts. I realize you're away of such things hm?"

Celestia was breathing heavily as it seemed she was the one who was losing. She looked at Discord with a tired expression, simply listening and taking as much as she could from this short break he was allowing her it seemed.

Discord simply continued. "I'll take the silence as consent. You see Celestia, you cannot touch me, for I've mastered what others were too afraid to. For with each attack, with each blow, I may in all actuality fade from existence for a brief moment, but that is all I need, for if I time it right, not even you, a goddess, can ever defeat me. You are already aware of your own defeat, there is no weapon you possess that can defeat such magic, you know this."

Celestia winced somewhat.

Discord smirked. "And that was only a small step Celestia. But it's time the curtains were drawn, it's time we brought an end to our little show, I'm glad I got to share this moment with you however, truly I am. I can't say I won't miss you in one way or another. Worry not, for I'll take care of Equestria for you."

Celestia continued to peer up at him, raising a brow slightly.

Discord snapped his claws. "Goodbye, Celestia."

With that it happened, in a mere instant a massive portal shattered the very skies above the ruins of the beautiful pony capital of Equestria. The sight was absolutely mesmerizing, as looming over Discord was something thought entirely impossible amongst any race. The sky looked as if it were simply a window, a window to another realm that'd just been shattered. Pieces of the sky drifted downward, then shimmering into dust in the wind as if they were simply pieces of paper. This massive portal was as frightening as it was alluring. Beyond the gateway one could see nothing but blue and white swirls, as if a beautiful midday sky was twisted with the clouds into a distorted appearance.

Everypony just stopped, nopony had any words to describe what they were seeing in the sky looming over Canterlot. Luna and the dragons stopped fighting. Chrysalis and the guards, as well as her changelings stopped fighting. All the remaining ponies of Canterlot that simply were observing everything, now had their attention focused on the sky.

Celestia trembled as she looked upon the horrid sight. Her eyes wide with terror as nothing in her right mind could have prepared her for this. The blue luminescent light shining from the portal beyond dimensions enveloping the goddess's coat as she simply gazed up past Discord at the terrifying sight, the absolute realization of Discord's grand plan for Equestria, and what it meant. This was inevitable chaos. Celestia then looked to Discord, her eyes still wide, as if searching for any sense of redemption for the draconequus, she found none. She simply muttered "Discord...what have you done?"

Discord remained silent as he simply looked down upon the current ruler of Equestria, devoid of any emotion.

Celestia snapped at him in a commanding tone. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE DISCORD!?"

Luna looked up to the skies as she to spoke softly to herself. "There's just...no way we can–"

Soon a grotesque roar rang out across Equestria; coming from the portal. A roar unfamiliar to anypony that even sent the dragons fleeing in fear. Even the changelings trembled as Chrysalis felt a shiver run down her spine. The citizens of Canterlot simply covered their heads as if that would make any difference, some taking this moment of distraction to head for the gates and make their escape. Soon large massive black tentacles that looked like that of an octopus began to emerge from the portal, followed by a large piercing yellow eye. An eye that made the city of Canterlot look like a mere speck in comparison, whatever this massive creature emerging was, it'd consume the city, and the rest of the world if it got the chance.

Discord simply looked down at Celestia as if waiting for her to speak.

Celestia shook her head in disbelief. "You're mad Discord! You've gone beyond the point of no return! This is beyond even you, how could you do something like this!? This will destroy the very world of Equestria, do you understand that!?"

Discord shook his head with a smirk. "No, only you and Luna, Celestia....."

Celestia's eyes widened further as she knew exactly what he meant by that. This caused Celestia's anger to die down as she lowered her head and her face darkened.

She'd lost, this was confirmation. Discord's words rang true, and there was nothing she could do about it, there was only one path she could take.

Celestia's flaming mane returned to normal as she simply remained silent, she then spoke regarding Discord. "I– I hope you find peace someday Discord...I hope all of us can...." Celestia then looked up at Discord with tears streaming down her cheeks as her body trembled, her commanding tone no more as she was pleading with the draconequus. "Please...at least don't let my mistakes cost them everything...p-please, don't be too hard on them...I beg of you..."

All of her decisions, everything she'd done. Celestia wondered if this was her punishment, if this was always meant to happen. All she wanted to do was protect her race, defend her world from the monstrosities she'd seen since she was a filly burdened with the fate of watching over an entire world. She'd made so many mistakes, so many decisions that she regretted fully until this day. She wanted so desperately to be the perfect leader, to be able to make everypony and everything happy and satisfied, to be a loving and gentle ruler and achieve peace and harmony for all. She'd failed.

Discord crossed his arms with a simple nod. "I will consider it Celestia...."

Celestia would take those words for what they're worth. She then flapped her mighty wings bursting past Discord as Discord didn't move, he simply let her go, as he expected.

Celestia flew straight towards the portal, gritting her teeth with a determined expression.

Luna didn't hesitate to join her sister in the skies, right by her side. "Sister! What're you doing!"

Celestia shot Luna an intense gaze, shaking her head. "You know what we must do little sister, we have no choice."

Luna's heart sank, she shook her head immediately; coming to a halt. She then peered down at Discord, who still had his back turned to them, then she peered down at the city of Canterlot with wide eyes, then specifically at the spot where her two head guards were looking straight up at her as well. She peered down at Sombra and Eden with affectionate eyes before turning to Celestia, "We can't just leave our subjects Sister! They need us! This is insane!"

Celestia snapped at Luna angrily, "Letting this creature pass through into our world is insane! You know what we must do sister! We must put a stop to this, and we're the only ones who can do it. We'll find our way back someday sister, but for now; we must leave, or absolutely everything will be for nothing! I need you by my side Luna...." Celestia looked to her little sister with saddened eyes, trying to give her a reassuring smile. "Remember dear little sister, we're not alone, there will be a time when things can be set right, perhaps, Equestria needs time to diverge off our course."

Luna simply looked into her sister's eyes, listening with a frightened expression.

Celestia continued. "The light will always shine through in the end little sister, for now, we can only hope that what defenders remain will be able to find a way to succeed without us, or at least until our return, if we ever do. But our time grows short, it's now or never Luna, we must do this, together."

Luna's body quivered as she took one last glance at her precious remaining subjects as they all looked up at their Princesses, puzzled about what was about to occur. Luna gave them all one last reassuring smile, as if a final farewell for the time being before turning to Celestia once more. "Then hope we shall sister. For now, let's ensure there is a future to come back to then...together..."

Celestia nodded to Luna as the two alicorn goddesses flew side by side. They then flapped their wings as they flew upward, straight towards the portal as the massive creature only continued to slowly progress into their world. Luna and Celestia were shining beacons of power as they both lit up together, flying straight into the massive portal straight into the unknown, roaring in sync as they did so in defiance of their oncoming fate. Together the goddesses disappeared from sight as they went into a realm beyond this world, as they disappeared the creature let off another bellowing roar, but this one was in pain.

Everypony simply continued to gaze up towards the sky as they had no way to describe what was transpiring. Soon the massive tentacles began to recede back into the portal as then, a mighty cataclysmic explosion set off where the portal was in the sky. Another piercing roar from the creature as a veil of light covered the sky and the portal then closed in on itself slowly. The tentacles simply disappearing as the portal shut, and the sky then slowly returned to normal.

But as the rain continued to pour heavily over Equestria, there was no sign of the Princesses; with the portal, they to were gone, beyond the reach of their subjects.

Everypony simply looked up at the sky in disbelief, was this truly happening? Were they truly alone?

Were they all truly without defense?

As Discord remained in the sky, he then began to chuckle somewhat. "Hmhmhmhm......"

His voice only continued to get louder as what started off as a soft chuckle, turned into a maniacal cackle. He burst into laughter as he spread his arms, embracing the rain as he leaned his head back, continuing to laugh in delight of his grand achievement. He'd done the impossible, he'd defeated the Princesses of Equestria, he'd defeated day and night, for the grand master of all magics is time itself. Discord could only continue to cackle in delight as his laughter was proclamation of his mighty rule, the world was now his to take over, to conquer, he'd won.

As everypony looked at the draconequus laugh amongst the clouds, there was a looming silence.

Chrysalis to was grinning sadistically. She cared not for what would transpire now, for with the Princesses gone she was now free to build her empire once again, this to was good news for her.

We were then taken back to a familiar scene, one in the far distant future. We were looking upon familiar figures, the mane six we've come to know and love as they all stood in the Canterlot throne room.

Twilight sparkle raised a brow to Princess Celestia. " Is this about the weather? And the animals' weird behavior? What's happening out there? Why isn't my magic working? Is there–"

Celestia cut her precious student off with a raise of her hoof. "Follow me." The princess then led her student and her friends to a room further from the throne room, a hallway decorated with fascinating glass windows, each telling a tale of their own. Celestia peered up towards one in specific before sighing heavily. "I've called you here for a matter of great importance. It seems an old foe of mine, someone I thought I had defeated long ago, has returned. His name... is Discord."

There was a brief silence in the room.

Celestia spoke in a saddened almost nostalgic tone. "Discord is the mischievous spirit of disharmony. He ruled Equestria in an eternal state of unrest and unhappiness. Luna and I saw how miserable life was for Earth ponies, Pegasi, and unicorns alike, so after discovering the Elements of Harmony, we combined our powers and rose up against him, turning him to stone." However, the Princess held back many details regarding such a dark time.

She recalled the time of Discord's rule.

As Discord simply continued to cackle wildly, laughing as he looked up into the clouds. He knew his time had come, this was a new beginning for him, as well as it would be for the ponies of Equestria.

His reign of chaos had begun. Next Chapter: Chapter 12: Chrysalis Estimated time remaining: 20 Minutes
