                                       Prelude into season 3

A year after the Royal Canterlot wedding, We find Cadance in her room, in the castle looking though her stuff. She locks the door for some privacy.

''Guard i would like to be alone, please make sure nopony interrupts me.''  says Cadance

''yes Princess'' says the guard

''There, maybe i can get some alone time to myself for a bit.''

So Cadance looks under her bead, to find her box of memories. she opens the box. to reveal a picture, a picture of  what?.

An Alicorn foal, she take a minute to look at the picture. Tears start to form on her face.

''My little foal, i miss you so much. I'm so so sorry, i couldn't save you. Of all things that had to take you, it had to be Changelings, that took you away from me. Shooting Star please forgive me. Please forgive me for losing our foal.''

But then she think to herself.

''but What if, what if she got away somehow. But who would've taken care of her after all these years, would i be able to recognize her. wait, What am i talking about. No mare in her right mind would forget her own foal. I have to stay positive, maybe she's alive and maybe her step parents, Told her about being adopted. And she might be on her way here.

Cadance starts to smile, then out of nowhere  her smile becomes a look of fear.

''Wait no, if she's on her way here and I'm gone. And my aunt meets her before i do, it could end badly. Celestia would lock her up, or banish her, or lock her up, in the place she banished her to. Then Shining would leave me, and Twilight hate me, forever And aunt Celestia would kick me out.

''Foreverrrrrrrrrrrrr''

Pinkie appears from  Cadances closet, and slowly closes the door.

''Well, my aunt did remove that law after me and Shining got married. Maybe she'll be a little more forgiving, wait what am i saying. She'll grill me for keeping a secret for so long, i mean i had a foal at such a young age. I'm surprised she didn't notice i was pregnant. She thought i gained weight. I'm shocked, you know i thought she would catch on right away.

''So you'd think child''

(gasp)

''Aunt luna?, wait how much did you hear''.

''You had a foal a such a young age. Why, and who was the stallion that did the deed.?''

''His name was Shooting Star, he was a kind stallion. He was sweet, nice..''

Luna holds up a picture of Shining Armor, in front of Cadance using her magic.

''Aunt Luna...!''

''Don't aunt Luna me. Let us remind you, your a married mare. You can't think of other stallions''.

''Aunt Luna, he died long time ago. He'll always be in my memory, but I'll always remember my little foal.        

Please aunt Luna, you must promise not to tell anypony. If she does show up one day, i'll tell everypony when the time is right.''

''Ok Cadance, i won't say a word. But don't take forever.''

''Thank you aunt Luna, thank you so much.''

After Cadance gives Luna a hug, she  hears a knock at the door.

Knock, Knock, Knock

''Who is it''

''it's me princess Cadance, Blue Mane Celestia's Advisor. I'm here with the guards.

Celestia wants you and shining Armor in her throne room ASAP''.

''I'm on my way, thank you Blue Mane.''

After talking to her aunt Luna, she puts the picture away. And heads for Celestia's throne room.

Luna takes a moment, and looks at the picture of the foal in question.

''It is a cute foal, it looks just like her. Oh Tia my sister, Please don't be so hard on her when you find out. I'm sure she didn't mean to keep it a secret from you. I'm sure she was just scared to tell you.''

''that was a good start to chapter 0.''

''Cadance, what did i say about looking over my shoulder when i'm writing a fanfic.''

''Oh come on DU666. Wait, if your a unicorn why are you an alicorn''.

''never mind that now Cadance''

''But i want to know.''

''You don't need to know.''

''But what if the readers want to know.''

''Why do they have to know, they really don't need to know.''

''but Everypony needs to know''

''Ok, let me stop you right there. I don't know how that got started. You know what never mind''

(walks away)

'Wait come back, you need to finish the story.''

''I'll finish when your not here.

(turns around)

''Oh, you came back?''

''Yes Cadance, now get off  my computer''

''Now back to the story''

One year, 11 months and 31 days after the sombra event. somewhere in a valley full of dieing flowers.

''Big brother Bleeding Heart, i wish you luck on your journey.''

''Don't worry little sister. The goddess came to me in a dream, and ask me to go to the Crystal Empire. Maybe i'll find my out what i'm supposed to do.

''I'll miss you big brother''.

''Don't worry Morning Glory, i'll be ok. Take care of dad while im gone.

''Bye big brother i'll miss you

So, Morning Glory hugs her brother and waves goodbye to him. So she returns to her father, to see if he needs help.

''Hey dad, do you need any help. Bleeding Heart already left for his journey. should i go and sharpen the spears, or find heavier rocks, to load into the catapult.''

''No i don't, look my little girl. There is something i must tell you.''

''What is it dad.''

''you were adopted.''

''Yeah, i kinda figured dad.''

  ''You knew.

''Yes, i'm sorry dad''.

''It's ok, it's not your fault. But i must tell you....''

''What's wrong dad.''

''I want you to leave, i'm not long for this world. Go find your real family, but never forget, the good times you spent here.''

''I'll miss you dad.''

''I'll miss you to, my little Morning Glory.''

So the next day, Morning Glory sets off on her journey.

''Hey i got an idea, how about i go and visit my brother. He'll be surprised to see me.''

And so, Morning Glory sets off to the Crystal empire.
