Poetic Musings Vol. 1
Chapter 6: A Scootaloo Collection
Previous Chapter Next ChapterWinged Ambitions
Soaring, bounding, with wind in her face
This was freedom! With beauty and grace
Nothing could touch her! Here, she was free
Energy coursed her, wing to knee
Scoot flew a long arc, making passersby stare
A great flier she was, that much was fair
The dream continued 'till the filly came to
She sighed and huffed, she had practice to do
Scootaloo's Awakening
It was a frequent dream for Scootaloo
One that held her feelings true
Falling through the dark's embrace
Tears streaming down her forlorn face
Her broken shattered wings
Being not much more
Than crumpled pathetic things
What did she have to live for?
---------------------------------------
Waking up, covered in sweat
Greeted by the sun
This day was diff'rent, that she'd bet
Out to her friends, she runs
St. Scootaloo's Hymn
They say she was a bird of peace!
Full of good! Soul white as fleece!
Full of life! Never a sin!
Now everybody sing this hymn!
(insert awesome chorus)
Scootaloo ain't no aaaangeeeel!
But she could have foooOOOooled me! (mmmhhmmm)
She has the soul of Gaaabrieeel!
Through her, our souls set free! (OW!)
(insert awesome chorus again)
Banishing fear with a soul so dear!
Never gonna leeeeet us DOOOooown! (that's right!)
Like an aaaaangel's teeeear! We always keeeep her neeear!
And spread her joy throughout the TOOOWN! (oh yeah!)
(insert awesome chorus again and end the song)
