Poetic Musings Vol. 1
Chapter 2: The Vacation (all main six)
Previous Chapter Next ChapterA vacation down south, they had all sought
Mexicolt tickets, they had all bought
Each of the mares, had a reason to travel
To go see new sights, let tension unravel
Now they were here, leaving the train
The day had grown late, sun starting to wane
As darkness crept up, the street lights were lit
Sounds started to grow, as luck would have it
Twilight remembered, from what she had read
Today was the day, for Mexicolt dead
Los Dias de Los Muertos, seemingly grim
'Stead they saw parties, smiles filled to the brim
As the night wore on, they felt out of place
Except for the Pink, who soon set the pace
They put on sombreros, becoming a sight
They had much to do, t'was young: the night
As hours passed by, they were entranced
From dazzling lights, and how they had danced
The days that came after
Found six friends with cheer
Their hearts filled with laughter
Ready for next year
