Sarise ran through countless tunnels dodgeing harpoons, snakes, trip wires even a bolder or two.

'Dangit who ever built this place really doesn't want me to make it to the end!' Sarise that while hopped over an obviously placed trip wire.

"Hah!" He cheered while landing on a stone tile.

'That was stupid who would place a trip wire out in the... Oh NO!' The stone tile that Sarise was standing on began sinking into the floor triggering a volley of harpoons to drop from the ceiling. 'Its a trap!' Diving off the tile just barely getting impaled by the harpoon Sarise began sprinting down the dark corridor dodgeing more traps and hopping over more trip wires. Further down the corridor a large cobble stone door began to close.

'Aw! Crap!' He raged. Jumping over a pit of ravanous rattle snakes. Sarise landed on his back sliding under the door. But while he was sliding under his hat caught the edge of the door causing it to fly off his head. 'Oh no you don't!' lungin out he retrieved his hat at the last second just barely getting crushed by the large door. The door slammed shot with small tremor.

"Phew..." Sarise dusted off his hat and planted it back on his head. Sarise jumped at the sound of a slow clap filing in behind him. The room was then instantly illumanated by a bright light. Sarise spun around getting into a defensive position.

"Bravo! Bravo! That was just splendid! Splendid indeed!" A tall chimpanz sat back in a large ruby throne. "I'm suprised you've actually made it this far!" The ape let out a loud raspy laugh which then proceeded to gag into his fist.

"Who are you?" Sarise asked taking a step back getting deeper into his defensive stance. The Chimpanz raised a furry eyebrow in return.

"You've never heard of me?" The ape motioned his hand towards himself. "Tis I!" He bellowed in self confidence. "King Momo!" Sarise lowered his gaurd and chuckled to himself and raised an eyebrow.

"Really?" He asked "Never heard of you." he then chuckled to himself again. Momo furrowed his brow

"Really?" He replied back. Sarise shook his head

"Nope doesn't ring a bell."

"Huh... What a shame because I am the one who built this place! I have traversed these tunnels for countless decades! Harvesting the gems the treasurs. I'm the one who designed these walls and set those traps with my bare hands! Countless travelers like yourself ventured through my tunnels in search of fame and wealth. Were either killed or became lost and insanity drove them over the edge! Yet only a handful though were able to make it to the end... and yet they-"

"Em... Yeah a sorry to ruin such a great story." Sarise inturrupted the ape. "But I... You know..." Momo coughed into his fist and leaned back up against his throne. Raising an eyebrow.

"Oh right yeah your reward... Sorry about that. You know being down in a cave for countless decades kinda drives you over you know..." Momo sneered leaning over and retrieving a large bag Momo then began to dig his hand through it. "Huh? Whats this?" He said in a obviously sarcastic voice. Sarise raised an eyebrow in suspicion. "Tis seem I'm out of treasur." Momo tilted his head and smiled at Sarise. Who then sat up

"Really?" he replied

"Really." Momo returned with a sneer.

"Wh-wait it does seem to appear that I do in fact. Hace one more particular Gem you might really be found of." Momo snickerd Sarise frowned he does not like where this is going.

"Momo what are you-"

"THINK FAST!" Momo pelted a baseball sized Gem right at Sarise. Who instinctivly caught it before the gem could even hit him. Looking down at the glowing green Gem which also had hints of orange within it. Fear struck Sarise.

"Wait this aint-" Sarise was then cut off by King Momo who then snapped his fingers and shouted,

"Mesfurios Dos Chakas!" The Gem then exploded in Sarise's face releasing a green and orange smoke which then proceeded to choke Sarise then causing him to pass out. Momo cheered out in glee hopping down from his throne clapping his hands together. "Yes!" He cheered then reaching down and claiming his prize.

Sarise woke his body aching. Everything was dark and he couldn't see a thing. He was then blinded by a bright flash of light coming down from the ceiling. Forcing Sarise to shield his eyes. But then he noticed something out of the ordinary. Two dark brown hooves

'What the Hay? Why are they dark?' He thought attempting to stand but his legs wobbled uncontroably causing him to fall over. Instantly he was blinded again but this time by a wave of dark colors. Shoving his mane out of the way he noticed that it wasn't its ordinary shade of black instead it was multiple shades of black, grey, and hints of white like a nocturnal rainbow. He ruffled his wings in fustration he did not like these changes what so ever. After getting to his knees he then looked around the mysterouis room he was now in. It's floor was made up of white tiles and white walls. In one corner of the room was a rack of all his clothing and other belongings. Sadly though they were encased behind a glass cabnet. In the front of the room was a large metal door. Beside that door though was mirror and a sink. Sarise staggerd his way toward the mirror and gasped at the sight of himself. His mane was completely over grown it stretched all the way down his back and towards the top of his legs. He had a large scruff beared his coat was also darker then usual. And he also was skinnyer then he was before do to lack of nutrition. Which also explains why he is so weak. But the most suprising thing though that caught him off gaurd though was his eyes. His righ eye was a dark shade of blue, while his left eye was a crimson red. Sarise gasped again at the sight of his pupils, his pupils were slits like a dragons eye. Sarise fell back onto his haunchs. Curious he looked down at his cutie mark. With a sigh of relief it was still the same a treasur map and a compass side by side. Sarise was then startled by a loud static filling the room.

"Ahhh... I see you're finally awake... Hmm?" Momo's voice filled the small white room.

"Momo!" Sarise replied not knowing if Momo could here him or not. His voice sounding dry and dehydrated.

"Ohhh Sarise, Sarise, Sarise get a drink kick back relax." Momo said and at the edge of the room a small hole in the wall opened revealing a glass of water. Sarise stared at the glass with desperation he was thirsty but he didn't know if he could trust Momo.

"No!" He replied his voice hoarse. It hurt even to speak but he wasn't going to fall for such in easy trick.

"What?" Momo respounded with a slight chuckle.

"I'm not falling for such an easy trick." Sarise placed a hoof over his throat massageing it trying to supress the pain but it hardly helped. Getting up from where he was sitting he approached the sink turning the faucet handle. Water poured out of it splashing the sink and hitting his coat. Bending down he began to slurp the water to only find himself vomiting back up. The water tasted foul it was if it was pure sewage.

"I wouldn't drink that if I where you." Momo's voice danced. "You wouldn't want to know where that water came from. Now Sarise please drink the water." Sarise looked up at the ceiling to find a speaker in one corner of the room.

"How do you know my name?" He asked.

"Oh hohoho. I know almost everything about you Sarise?" Momo snickerd

"But how I thought you been down here for decades?" He asked starting to become worried.

"Well that because you told me everything." Momo laughed. Sarise sat there dumbstruck

"H-how? I was knocked out?"

"When you first inhaled the gas yes. But the gas from that Cellus Gem caused you to have memory loss."

"S-so you drugged me? How long have I been down here!?" Momo laughed hysterically now.

"Yes if you put that way. And are you sure you want to know?" Momo asked

"Yes-" Sarise coughed into his hoof causing his throat to flare in pain.

"Two years." Momo said Sarise stared up at the speaker flabbergasted

"Wh-what?" Momo laugh bellowed and Sarise was starting to get annoyed

"Oh the look on your face. I kid I kid. Its only been two month." Sarise sighed with relief.

"Now please Sarise drink the water. Its very hard for me to understand you." Sarise turned his attention towards the cool glass of water. After ruffling his wings and looking back towards the speaker. "Go on. Drink it." Momo pressured him. With a concerned look Sarise ruffled his wings again and walked towards the glass of water. Bending down and picking it up with his mouth and tilting his head back, the water gushed down his throat clensing all the cracks and dry spots. Relief and pleasure surged through his body. Filling up it his stomach and causing it settle with a sigh of relief he dropped the glass and sat back. "Good now... I guess now you must be hungry." Momo said with small chuckle. Sarise stomach grumbled causing him to clutch it as a wave of nasuea washed over him. The hole in the wall closed and reopened seconds later with a hot steamy plate of steak with a side of mash potatoes.

"You got to be kiddig right?" Sarise asked looking back up a the speaker his voice sounding much more clear then earlier. Momo snickerd.

"Yep."

"You know I can't eat that! I'll get sick!"

"Ohh... But you've done it before." Momo said.

"What! No I haven't!" Sarise snapped back. Momo laughed

'God does this ape ever stop laughing!' Sarise gritted his teeth.

"Oh I love the whole memory loss side effect. Its like a replay button or something. Because your reaction everytime is priceless." Sarise shook his head in anger.

"Your saying you drugged me more than once!" He roared. This seemed to cause Momo to laugh even harder.

"Thats excactly what you said last time! Oh my lord it's like I stepped back in time."

"Let me out of here Momo!" Sarise roared

"I will but if you do one thing for me." Momo said.

"Whats that?" Sarise asked.

"Eat the meat." Momo said calmly. Sarise took a step back he couldn't eat meat even if he already has before. But he don't remember eating it. After a few moments of silence Momo said, "Alright fine I guess you don't want to see your two daughters again." This struck Sarise hard.

"Fine! I'll do it! I will eat the meat..." Sarise turned his attention towards the now cooled down plate.

'This couldn't be that hard...' he thought 'Just one bite thats all Momo wants is one bite right?'

Last Serise could remember was that he has never tasted meat in his entire life. At least thats all he could remember Momo states he has already done this before but Sarise didn't believe him. Staggering his way toward the plate Sarise knelt down gripping the hunk of flesh in his mouth. Nausea overwhelmed dropping the stake back onto the plater Sarise leaned over and vomited all over the floor.

"Come on you coward it's only one steak." Momo voice pierced Sarise. Leaning back towards the stake he knelt back down picking it up and he then sunk his teeth into the flesh. Foul tasting greese splashed across his tongue causing him to wince. "Good now chew it slowly." Bringing the hunk of flesh to the back of his mouth by his molars and proceeded to chew goraning at how bad it tasted like a young child who doesn't like the taste of his corn. Finally after a good minute he swallowed trying hard not to vomit it back up. "Good." Momo said calmly "Now finish the rest." Sarise stood back stunned.

"Wh-what!? I can't eat the rest of that crud I'll get sick." Momo moaned.

"Alright alright fine sheesh." Momo sounded dissipointed. The door on the other end of the room dinged as it opened. "Just like I promised here." Sarise approached the door. In front of him was corridor was a pitch black corridor made of pure cobble stone.

"What I thought I was free to go? What this?" Sarise asked.

"Well last thing I rememberd was you asking for me to let you out of the room and I did." Momo said "Now if you want to escape and go home. Well you must traverse these caves. But weary my friend every thirty minutes these paths change think of it like labrinth or something." He chuckled

"What are you talking about Momo?" Sarise asked

Momo chuckled, "I'm saying in order to escape you must traverse throught The Tunnels of Darkness..."
