My Little Pony: Friendship is Fourth and One
Chapter 19: Canvas of the future to be
Previous Chapter Next ChapterLuna walked through the dark dreamscape, her own dreamscape. It was never filled with the characters or ponies others were able to experience. In Luna's dreams roamed prophicies, from the past, and a new one from time to time. She found it was always fun to study the new, to learn of the future, knowing what to expect. Sometimes they were as simple as a new foal will be born, to a large flood. But this time, it was different.
As Luna walked, she saw a creature. It stood on two legs, its back to Luna. It was just as tall as DJ, but taller than Ryan. It wasn't as wide as DJ either. It wore something that looked like a rugged blue material for pants, and a white shirt with orange stains spotting it. A strap wrapping around the back of its head.
As Luns got closer, the thing turned. In its right hand, it held a strange object. It had a large container on top, with orange balls on the inside, a long barrel, a trigger like Ryan and DJ's weapons, but it also had another cylinder on the back, which appeared to be screwed in.
And it's face, was anything but. It was a mask, with a tinted visor, multiple small holes where the mouth was to be, with a white skull painted over it. It wore black gloves, only allowing the tips of ita fingers to poke through. It wore dark shoes, made of a tough material.
Luna stared, and the more she did, the more appeared. They would walk out from behind the one, wearing similar attire, but with noticeable diffrences. They were all different sizes, from small and fat, to tall and built like a brick shit house. Luna hadn't even noticed the things had surrounded her.
The first raised its weapon, and pulled the trigger.
Instead of the loud explosion that came from DJ's weapon, instead, came a softer 'thunk' noise. But Luna still screamed in pain as the projectile collided with her chest. She looked down, expecting to see a gaping hole, but instead, found an already rising welp, and orange splatter.
The other creatures began to fire the non leathal projectiles, leaving welps and orange spots. Luna was eventually on her knees, pain covering her body. She looked up as the one with the skull mask came up face to face with her. It slowly removed the mask, revealing a set of green eyes, staring into hers. It gave a small smile.
"We're on our way." It said, before placing one more shot right under her chin. Shakinh her awake in the real world.
She sat straight up in her bed, almost jumping out for her journal, her dream journal. Writing every detail. The weapons, all shaped the same, but colors, sizes, and letters were all different. 'Arrow Precision', 'Diablo', 'System X', and 'Brass Eagle'. She drew the common shaped of the weapons, along with the masks.
She looked over at the clock on the wall, it was about time for her to wake anyway. She closed the journal, and made her way to her bathroom, where a small scroll lay. A bit of magic residue still floating around, suggesting it was recently put there. She picked it up, reading it to herself. Sister, I fear that my decision with our guests may be too quick for one to comprehend. I fear he will act out, lash at me or you with violence. I wish for your advice on this, while I believe it would be great for Ryan to visit Ponyville for a time, DJ will be very unhappy with my decision, and we will lose all progress with him. He will be waking around twenty minutes from when I sent this to your room.
Luna checked the time at the bottom, sent just five minutes ago. She set the letter down, and prepared to meet her sister.

DJ opened his eyes. Something's wrong... He rolled his head, light streaming in through the windows. He sat up in his bed, grabbing for his phone on his nightstand. He checked the clock. "It's almost seven..." He said to himself. He stood from his bed, making his way for the window. He crossed his arms as he began to relive the day's events, and how he was missing an hour. As he pondered an answer, he realized something.
Something that he had taken note of, but never really noticed. The throbbing headache he had been having since day three of football, was gone. The tan lines where his gloves met his wrists, were gone. All the scabs, bruises, cuts, sores, were gone. DJ took in a deep.breath through his nostrils. And smiled.
No longer was he in constant pain, it had all subsided, and for the first time since arriving in Equestria, his vision wasn't cloudy. "Today, well, tonight, may just get better..." He said to himself.
Then, in the distance, DJ heard a familiar sound. A small, four cylinder engine, turning over.
He didn't even think about what it was, he already knew. His Lil Red was alive!
He ran down the hallways, pushing maids and royalty out of the way. He knew where his truck was, he had visited it so many times, it was almost like visiting a loved one in a hospital. When DJ finally made it to thw door, he threw it open, running straight towards the red S10. The scientists all looked to DJ in fear.
"It did it! Not us!" They screamed, obviously thinking the engine's whine was an incorrect noise.
DJ pulled his good set of keys from his pocket, discarding the spare that was currently in the ignition. He pushed it in, and turned them. The engine roared to life.
DJ smiled as he gripped the steering wheel with both hands. Somehow, he had a full tank of gas, and all the other needles were pointing exactly where they are designed. One of the scientists knocked on the window.
"We are opening the doors to the gardens!" He screamed.
DJ gave a nod, before pulling a lever under the dash, disengaging the parking break, and pulling it into drive. When the doors were open enough, DJ slammed on the gas, flying straight into the gardens. He found his way through the semi maze, eventually reaching an open field.
DJ's foot never left the floor, flinging the Equestrian mud flying through the air, and tire marks where he had been. The truck's engine whined and whined and whined some more, begging for a break. Begging to be back on pavement, going a simple thirty-five mile an hour. But DJ couldn't resist.
Eventually, DJ stopped the vehicle, smiling, for some reason breathing heavily, and the happiest he had been since arriving in Equestria. He looked around, and saw a familiar someone.
She knocked on the window. "You got 'er runnin'?" Ryan asked.
DJ rolled the window down. "I didn't, I haven't touched her in a while. But yeah. She's alive!"
Ryan bit her lip, and tapped the window. "DJ, there's something we need to talk about..."
"Yeah, what's up?"
"Princess Celestia..." she swallowed. "She wants me to go to Ponyville to teach Twilight about our culture."
"You know damn well I'm not letting you leave my sight." DJ said. He wasn't going to let anything happen to Ryan, and when he wasn't with her, in a strange place, something could.
"She said you didn't want to g..."
"Of course I don't want to go there. But, I know you obviously do."
Ryan raised an eyebrow. "Are you going to force me to stay here?"
DJ frowned. "No? I'm just going to have to follow you."
Ryan started smiling. "You're coming then!"
Fuck me... "Yup."
Ryan leaned through the window into the truck. "We leave tomorrow!"
God fucking dammit... "Okay, I'll get my money from the bank."
Ryan smiled. "Already did!"
"Wait..." before DJ could process what was just said, Ryan was gone. DJ rolled up his windows, allowing the 5% tint to hide him from the world. He put his hands on his head and leaned back. "What the hell did I get myself into..." As he drug his hands down, he noticed a lack of something.
A lack of a metallic scrape on his face. DJ opened his eyes, and looked at his fingers.
A super tan, compressed, spot on his finger in place where his ring should be. DJ's eye twitched. His blood began to boil, and he already knew how he was going to kill the bitch that stole it.

*DEEP IN THE EVERFREE*
Black lust sat behind her desk, surrounded by guards and prisoners. The old castle, once belonging to the Equestrian sisters, now hers. She leaned back, admiring the architecture. Her dark crimson eyes scanning every detail. Until a large crashing drew away her attention.
A grey unicorn walked forward, a smirk plastered on his face. Lust felt a frown growing. "Who are you! And what are you doing in my castle!"
The unicorn stopped. "I come, bearing gifts." He said. A small brown bag floating to the desk.
Lust examined the bag, before taking the contents out. A small silver ring, with a blue gem. "What is this!"
"Surely you have heard of the demon that has infected Canterlot?" Lust gazed up from the ring to the unicorn. "That is its ring."
"A demon's, you say..." Lust didn't know what to think, she leaned back in her cushion. "And why bring this object, containing so much hate, to mt domain?"
"This ring has little value in terms of wealth. However." The unicorn stepped further. "Do you know how the demon came to Equestria in the first place?" Lust shook her head. "Portals!"
"What are you getting at?"
"This demon, hates Celestia. And so do I, and you. But none of us can do anything about it." The unicorn motioned to the ring. "So why not a new demon? One that is not bound by watchful eyes?"
"So you want to bring another unholy creature, into mt palace, and let it roam free?" Lust smiled. "I like it!" She looked up as the unicron was leaving. "Wait! What is your name?"
The unicorn smiled as he walked through the door. "We bring the demon in, then you know. I am off to get scholars, ones who have enough power amd knowledge to open the portal. Celestia's reign, is over." Next Chapter: Breaching's a new life Estimated time remaining: 1 Hour, 49 Minutes
