(Okay first of all I'm tired as hay and I was busy all day with school, getting my girlfriend a V day present, and sorta kinda running out of ideas. Well just enjoy.)

"Dashie are you alright? You don't look alright. Should I get you some medicine?" Pinkie said as usual jumping like a spring.

"I'm okay Pinkie." Rainbow Dash said lying through her teeth as the tv starting flashing with the news logo.

"We have terrible news to all. As it looked like the light at the end of the VDE tunnel was glowing and glowing. It shut off. We have just received a flight down from chopper 5312, which was the same plane the survivor of the VDE was on. Which makes the death toll of the base 53 soilders 5,000." Everypony looked at Rainbow Dash, and had a right to. She couldn't believe what she heard. She was gonna break down into tears until the news reporter put her hoof to her earpiece and started talking.

"What? That's great news." She then turned her attention to the camera. "Mares and stallions I have just received word that there were only two bodies in the crash with fresh hoof prints in the ground and with no other body found in a mile radius, the officers have started to believe that the survivor survived death a second time. After following the hoof prints for several feet, they have come to believe that he has wondered into the Everfree Forest." The reporter said as the logo flew onto the screen and played them out.

"Almost home Ezio. Almost home." Rainbow Dash said as she closed her eyes and went to another flashback, except despite being happy, she remembered one of the saddest moments of her life. The day Ezio left.

The time was 3:00 pm, or by military standards 1500 hours. The sun beat down on the gravel runway laid as all of Ezio's friends lined up on the side. At the end of a runway laid a massive jumbo jet able to carry hundreds of stallions and mares, and at the other end stood a young stallion wearing a gold necklace, a military uniform, and carrying a green burlap sack across his body who went by the name Ezio. As Ezio made his way down to the jumbo jet he stopped by each of his friends starting with Dontoa and Eclipse.

"Be careful brother. Don't get shot and don't drop the soap. Wait that's for prison. Still, don't drop the soap." Dontoa said trying to hard to mask his sadness. Maybe a little too hard?

"Don't die Ez. We still gonna need your help with the band." Eclipse said trying to mask his sadness. Not hard enough.

"Whoa guys. Don't all mushy on me." Ezio said as the brothers gave Ezio a huge hug. "Before I go there's one thing I wanna give you." Ezio said removing the golden necklace around him and handing it to his brothers. "San Expedito, patron saint of good luck. Take good care of it." Ezio said as he walked to his sister Applejack. "Take care sis." Is all Ezio could say.

"Only if ya promise not to go and get shot. Applejack said giving her long lost brother a hug. Then Ezio made his way to Rarity.

"You think you can live without me getting your supplies for a couple of months." Ezio said as Rarity looked at him.

"I can cope. I'm sure I can get Eclipse to do it for me." Rarity said laughing with Ezio. "I have not notice this Ezio, but camo complements you perfectly. When you get back, from now on, everything I make for you will be camo." Rarity said as Ezio made his way to Pinkie Pie.

"Be super-duper extra mega safe Ezio." Pinkie Pie said with her head down. "So what do you want for your welcome back party. Cupcakes, cakes, my punch nudge nudge wink wink.' Pinkie said with a smile on her face but still had her hair down.

"Surprise me Pinkie. I'll be back." Ezio said giving her a hug good-bye. "It's gonna be hard to get along without your sweets." Ezio said going over to Twilight.

"Good-bye Ezio. I want you to take this." Twilight said floating a book to Ezio's bag.

"Redemption. Twilight I can't take this." (Just so you know what Redemption is. It's about a mare who simply gives up on life and love and commits suicide from the tallest building in her town and jumps. She wakes up in a hospital to find out she failed a her death and tries to go back to her normal life buts starts getting called 'suicider'.)

"I know it's one of your favorite books, so I thought let him have it while he's gone." Twilight said with a smile. "Be careful Ezio. Lot's of ponies are going to miss you while you're gone. Just come home safe please?" Twilight said giving him a hug good-bye hug and watch him walk over to Fluttershy.

"Ummm Ezio....just don't hurt a lot of ponies okay." Fluttershy said giving him a hug good-bye and watch him walk over to the final one on the line, Rainbow Dash.

"Rainbow Dash.." Ezio said looking at Rainbow Dash who had her head down.

"Dash.. I know you're upset, but I need you to be strong, okay. I won't lie, I gonna be gone a long time, but not eternity. I swear on my life I'll see you again. Either hell or high water." Ezio said trying to cheer the sad mare up, and it mostly worked.

"I I I...just please come back okay." Rainbow Dash said as she pushed Ezio away and flew to her cloud house.

"OCRASSEN! WHEN I SAID 1500 HOURS I MENT 1500 HOURS! GET YOUR FLANK ON THIS PLANE OR ELSE!!" A stallion screamed out of the jumbo jet. Ezio did as was told and stepped on the plane. The cargo door slammed shut cutting of view from the black and red mane Pegasus.

Why in hay did I do that. No even giving I sign that I was gonna miss him. I must be the worst mare in all of Equestria. Even Trixie would've told him good-bye. I bet if he did come back, we wouldn't be together anyways.
