Note from Author: I have little time to work on this story since this is my first and most progressed work of fiction. So when I work on the next chapters, they will come out very late. So for the moment, I will post the characters involved in this story mainly (In normal form) and give you a little insight on who they are. Enjoy

Von

Age:20
Gender: Male
Race: Dragon-pony (Kirin)
The main hero of the story. Personality-wise, Von is a loveable and hopeful half-breed in Equestria. Still growing, in terms of maturity and power, he won't stop until he reaches his goal. Regardless of what he's dealt with, he's still going strong. His current goal is to strive towards coexistence between ponies, dragons and all races. A rather far-fetched dream, but it's what keeps him going. Born to the union of Ignus and Silva, watched over by Celestia, the halfling is unable to decide whether to embrace his dragon half or his pony half. But regardless of this battle in his mind, Von will fight for what he believes in no matter what may befall him.

Currently in a huge bind involving his father's former partner and murder, Bastion. What happens to him is both up to himself and you, the reader.

Midnight Phoenix

Age: 22
Gender: Female
Race: Pegasus
Despite appearances, she works alongside Celestia's Royal Guard as one of the princess' top warriors. She is tactful, bold and somewhat reserved. But she has a heart of gold deep down inside. She does not hold any sort of connection to Von or any of the others, but she was once Storm Front's orphanage before she left to join the Royal Guard. Acting as Von's personal trainer, she hopes to get along with the dragon-pony well and see him grow stronger as he matures.

Though Storm's death still lingers in her mind, she's managed to stay strong for quite awhile. Whether she is putting on a front or she has truly gotten over it is unknown.

Storm Front

Age: 15 (Deceased)
Gender: Female
Race: Pegasus
Von's former love interest, killed by Nova which drove his dark power to awaken and an optimistic young mare. While she kept her age hidden from him, Storm truly loved Von and wanted to do whatever she could so that they could be happy together. She was in an orphanage alongside Midnight, treating her like a sister and was torn when the two of them were about to be separated. Though she is now gone, her memory lives on in the both of them.

Daring Do
Yeah. No explanation should be needed. Seriously, EVERYONE should know who Daring Do is.

Gilda
Again. No explanation needed.

Axel and Arcius
Age: 24 and 27
Gender: Male
Race: Dragon
Von's closest friends in the dragon race. Axel is stubborn and Arcius is wise, but the two are always by Von's side every step of the way to his goal. They hold nothing against pony kind or coexistence in the slightest. While they may have their squabbles, they always patch things up and live a happy life together.

Ignus
Age: 45 (Deceased)
Gender: Male
Race: Earth Pony
One of the driving forces behind Von's wish for coexistence. Once a proud member of the Sacred Guard, an organization separate of the Royal Guard charged with keeping peace, he was well-known and respected in most parts of Equestria. A user of the Bushido sword style, in addition to his normal way of fighting, he lost his life in a great battle. In truth, he was murdered by his best friend and partner, Bastion.

Silva
Age: 57
Gender: Female
Race: Dragon
Von's mother and one of the driving forces behind Von's wish for coexistence. A peace-loving dragon by nature, Silva has always wished the best for Von and his father. She was forced into a relationship with Konan after she was defeated in battle. In the past, she had foreseen her own death and knows there is nothing she can do to prevent it. What the cause of death is remains unknown.

She was raped by Konan after Eldrich's death. Her fate is unknown.

Bastion

Age: 43
Gender: Male
Race: Unicorn
Traitor to the Sacred Guard, creator of the chimeras Von had faced and murderer of Ignus. Bastion is a heartless stallion in every sense of the word. So long as it pushes him closer to his goal, he will experiment on any and all subjects he finds interesting at his lab. He cares not for the lives of others, going so far as poisoning those he no longer has use for (such as Sebastian). it is rumored that he and Konan were the ones that destroyed Dragon Heart Village, but there is little evidence at the moment to confirm otherwise. He has a great hatred for Ignus and anyone close to him, so Von is also a target of this hatred. Against coexistence, he works alongside Konan and their master, Orcus.

Konan
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Race: Dragon
The main antagonist of this story. Konan is a power hungry, cold and ruthless dragon. He's seen and been a part of many battles, so it's possible he is well over 100 years old. He is Von's stepfather, father to Nova and the self-appointed husband of Silva. Konan seeks nothing more than to be the king of dragons and conquer Equestria. He sees ponies as lesser beings and the fact Eldrich did not even attempt to enslave them only fueled his anger. He hates the weak and those who are unwilling to conquer those that are weaker than him. He despises Von's dream of coexistence and it is rumored that he destroyed Dragon Heart Village, the place that acted as a haven for those who wanted coexistence.

Currently, he is back on Dragon Mountain. He has been appointed as king for slaying Eldrich and has taken Von's mother as his queen.

Nova

Age: 27
Gender: Male
Race: Dragon
Von's Step-brother and Konan's son. Nova is the type of dragon that fights with honor, giving his opponent time enough to recuperate so that they can fight at full capacity. His motives for doing things are clearly unknown, but it is hinted that it seems to be toward pleasing his father.

Currently he is back on Dragon Mountain with his father, the newly appointed king.

Orcus
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Race: Unicorn
An unknown unicorn who entered Von's dream and retrieved the egg of his alleged half-brother. He is the driving force behind Konan's rise to power and the one who bestowed the power of darkness unto him, Nova and Cynder. His reasons remain unclear, but he is undoubtedly plotting something horrid.
