It was a warm and quiet night and everypony was asleep. Everypony, except Rainbow Dash. She quietly sneaked around town until she arrived at Twilight Sparkle's house. She slid an envelope under her door and flew away into the night, without making a sound.

The next morning, Twilight woke up. She had some breakfast and went downstairs, however, she didn't notice the letter. Instead, she opened a book and started reading. About half an hour later, a slight breeze blew under her door, blowing the letter into the middle of the room. Twilight turned around and saw the letter sitting there on the floor.

"Huh. A letter." she said when she saw it. She flipped it over and saw the writing on the front.

From Rainbow Dash

"It's from Rainbow Dash. Why would she need to send me letter? We see each other everyday." Twilight said, confused.

She opened it up and started reading. As she read it, the expression on her face got worse and worse.

"Oh no! I have to tell the others!" Twilight said and then she ran off.

10 Minutes Later

Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Twilight all burst through the door of Carousel Boutique. Rarity rushed in when she heard them.

"Oh. Hello, girls. What's the problem?" Rarity asked, confused.

"It's Rainbow Dash! She's gone!" said Pinkie Pie.

Twilight passed the letter to Rarity and she read it aloud.

To my dear friends,

Something extremely terrible has happened and I am the only one who can fix it. This means I will be away for a while. I don't know how long I'll be gone for. A day? A week? A year? I'm not even sure if I'll ever make it back. But just in case I don't return, I want you to know that you are the best 5 friends a pony could wish for and I will never forget you.

Rainbow Dash

P.S Unfortunately, you can't know anything about what I'm doing or where I'm going. So, no matter how long I am gone, you must NEVER EVER come looking for me.

Rarity couldn't believe what she had just read. She might never see Rainbow Dash again!

"What happened?" asked Rarity, worried.

"We don't know. I just found the note this morning." Twilight replied.

"So... Do we wait her to come back?" asked Applejack.

"We have to. She told us not to go looking for her." Twilight said, still worried about Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash was pushing her way through a horrible snowstorm. Slowly but surely, making her way across Equestria. She didn't feel right, just disappearing with almost no information. She might never make it back and all she left for her friends was a simple letter. But it was the right thing to do. For their own good.
