Hey Everyone, this isn't a material update so you can express your anger in the comments below, and I duly apologize for that. I didn't want to leave you all in the dark, so I thought I'd bring you all up to speed with the current situation:

I am currently enrolled in university, quarter based system nonetheless. This quarter is kicking my ass and I have midterms this week. I had been doing work on another story and those chapters needed to get out first so I didn't feel guilty about sitting on my ass while attempting to come up with new material for Equestrian Politics. This was the case during Lighten Up, but I somehow had the ability to shit out chapters every day and I was lucky everyone liked them, because when I reread my work, I wasn't too pleased to be completely honest. It was lacking a lot of detail on my part and I apologize in advance for that.

With that being said, I do have my ideas down for the next... oh I'd say about four chapters, but I haven't found much time to write them just yet. Being a math major studying to be an actuary (fuck my life) with a writing hobby conflicts horribly sometimes and it sucks because I love writing this story waaaaaaaaaay more than I should haha, but I guess that's just the brony aspect of me, but I digress.

ANYWAY, I just wanted to let you all know that I DID NOT FORGET ABOUT THIS STORY!!! I will NEVER abandon this story for any reason. THE MATERIAL IS THERE! *waves hands frantically to accentuate point*, but I haven't gotten around to writing it. After this coming thursday, I'll have a break in the onslaught and I'll sit down and attempt to churn out a chapter by the end of the week.

EXPECT A CHAPTER BY SUNDAY EVENING AT THE LATEST! YOU MAY HOLD ME TO THAT. IF YOU DO NOT SEE AN UPDATE THEN, YOU CAN SPAM MY INBOX WITH GORE AND PORN AS RETRIBUTION.

Not attempting to make my story sound larger than it is, because compared to other's it's not a drop in the bucket... so please don't mistake this as an ego trip. I just want to keep those who do enjoy my work in the loop with what's happening and not go on unexpected hiatuses. HOWEVER, I'm still on fimfiction everyday because reading doesn't take as much brainpower, especially on a study break, so....
