For many years ago there were this village called Baltimare that had been abandoned for decades. Ponies had found gold and diamonds in the streams by Baltimare. Dragons and ponies from Western cities and Canterlot had a gold rush in Baltimare. Uncle Strudel had lived there too. Then had a family of ponies  began to disappear after going to the lake outside the village. The Canterlot guards had told that the family had died in an accident or a murder after not coming back at night. A pony went out to the lake to fish one evening at the quiet lake. Then the pony saw a mare, and it was not looking alive at all. Suddenly were the half alive mare screaming loudly. The pony left as quick as he could. Other ponies had heard about and seen the screaming and ghostly mare by the lake. Soon had the whole Baltimare left quickly too. None of the ponies and dragons would be around murders and ghostly ponies in Baltimare anymore. Decades later had Rarity's father went out to fish by that same lake.

"I think I just heard somepony cry, but I can't see anypony here." the stallion told himself.

"Hey, I wonder if anypony is here." the stallion shouted.

But nopony were at the lake beside him that sunny winter day. Then had the stallion seen a ghostly mare across the lake.

"What the hay, I don't even." the stallion said.

Then the stallion ran all he could after hearing the entity make a loud and horrid scream that he had not heard before. Nopony would go alone to that place that once were Baltimare since those events. Next Chapter: Chapter 23 Estimated time remaining: 1 Hour, 27 Minutes
