Apple Bloom and Applejack laid in a bed in Apple Bloom's room one early summer morning in Sweet Apple Acres. Applejack had returned from the Crystal Empire. The two mares were half asleep.

"So you were a baby under your first Apple Family Reunion." Apple Bloom told Applejack.

"That's right, and at that time had both Big Mac and Granny Smith been younger." Applejack told the filly.

The drowsy farmer pony showed Apple Bloom a photo album from 1883, and those had been 100 years old. Those pictures told how Granny Smith and Big Mac had raised the first Sweet Apple Acres barn with their family at that time. Theree had also been photos of the apple orchards in both Sweeet Apple Acres and Appleoosa, including the cherry orchard in Dodge Junction.
