"You."

To them, Twilight was almost a practice dummy to 'test' strange torture techniques. It'd been days, or at least it felt like days to Twilight. She couldn't tell. The cave she was in didn't have any sunlight what so ever. Twilight had been trying to tamper to with the device that held her head back using magic. She had been caught twice but on the second time had managed to actually release her head. Sadly she had been electrocuted to unconsciousness before she could see her surroundings. This time she knew what she was doing. She felt she was on her back. Against a slightly slanted vertical surface. It felt like stone. She mentally tampered with the pulley system used to hold her head back. She heard a slight thud as the weight that had been pulling suspended by a rope against her forehead fell releasing her head. At first she noticed her neck was EXTREMELY stiff when she took a look around. She was in a cavern of some kind, stalagmites hung from the ceiling like spikes. However she was on some kind of surgical table, her hooves were tied up and separated to each corner of the rectangular incline. The inclined table was indeed stone. It was corded up to several different machines by the likes of which Twilight had never seen before. Equestrians didn't usually have gas generators and medical equipment used to check heart rate, blood pressure, brain function, etc. Twilight noticed a small table near her with needles, staples, and....pliers. This made Twilight's heart rate increase. She saw the number on the small screen jump from 91 to 120 beats per minute. She levitated one of the staples to the locks on the latches holding her hooves.

When she had herself free. She quickly fled to the near pitch black area of the cave to regain her composure. Right as she planned to leave to the pitch blackness she heard foot steps from the area with lanterns near all the machines. Beyond the machines and lanterns was one small tunnel leading to more lights. Twilight quickly levitated the largest scalpel to her mouth so the magical light wouldn't give her away. She bit on the grip of the scalpel, and waited in the blackness for who ever was coming. She saw a hooded figure. She immediately noticed the figure's size and noted it was probably the male she had heard before. As the male gasped she noted the deep voice. Then she knew it was the male when he turned and shouted to the other side of the small tunnel

"SHE'S ESCAPED! TWILIGHT SPARKLE IS LOOSE!"

Twilight used this opportunity to carefully sneak up behind him and she quickly in one fluent motion moved the scalpel in her teeth to slit his throat. Though she had never done ANYTHING like that before it was pretty simple. Stay quiet, sneak to your target, and use the BLADE to slit your targets throat. Causing death from the severed artery in the neck. That artery ran blood to brain and head in massive amounts. Easy equation,
*your body - a massive amount of blood=death*

Well enough of that back to Twilight
Twilight watched the body go limp on the floor as blood leaked from his neck. She ran through the long tunnel as fast as she could. She knew she wouldn't stand a chance against who ever was here. She could maybe out run them. Maybe. She ran past more hooded figures. They all screamed at her and ran after her. Twilight used their screams to measure how ahead of them she was. She ran faster than she had ever run before. Mostly because now it was for her life. She past small areas of the cave positioned over large pools of water with thin stone bridges she ran across. She ignored all scenery. And just ran past the lanterns. She soon found herself going up a small slope. For what she hoped to Celestia was sun light. When she got out her eyes took a second to adjust to the light. The cold didn't slow her, her eyes adjusting didn't slow her, the only thing that did was the incredible bang and sharp pain in her flank. She shot off a random magical force. Collapsing the cave roof over the entrance on her pursuers. She knew they were still alive and well capable of getting out, she heard them barking orders for " 'The explosives' ". She began limping in the direction of the sun, it was mid afternoon so that meant west.

The extreme cold froze the blood on her wound. It was as if she had a red ice bandage over the wound. She asked herself "What happened?". What caused the loud bang? What made the wound? What other dangerous weapons did they possess. After a few miles it was near dusk. She was approaching a town of some sort. She saw that orange male she had seen before, the injured one. In a heavy cloak walking out of a tavern. She limped after him as he made is way to a large hotel like building. No one questioned the red mark on her flank. No pony stopped her and asked if she need help or a coat. They just carried on. She continued to limp after the orange one when he entered the hotel. She entered about a minute later, but she had lost him after the door. He was no where in the lobby. Twilight made her way to a seat by a small fire place in the lobby. She warmed herself up and let her wound thaw. It had stopped bleeding hours ago just the blood hadn't had a change to get away since it was frozen to the spot of her flank directly above her cutie mark. She let the cold ,thawed blood drip to the carpet. When all the blood was gone no one noticed the red on red of blood on red carpet. The lobby itself was relatively clear. She kept her focus. She need to spot that orange one. She had never caught his name. She spotted him stumbling through the lobby. Shortly after diverting her focus to the fire. She quickly got up as he entered the stairwell. She followed him limping up the stairs was difficult but she made it to his floor then saw him enter his room and tried to follow but the pain in her flank caused her to stop and take a seat on a bench in the hallway. After about 20 minutes the horrid pain in her flank went away and she was able to walk. She knocked on the door. Then the orange pony opened the door and gasped at the sight of Twilight Sparkle

Bronze stared at Twilight, his intoxicated brain scrambling for any kind of logical thought of whats going on. He heard Celestia's voice behind him.

At first it was a whisper "Twilight...?"

Then it was a scream "TWILIGHT!"

Celestia ran up to Bronze's side and scanned Twilight "What happened to you?!"

"I...I got kidnapped...." Twilight began to cry. "Tortured...." she sobbed with every word then just clasped against Celestia.

Bronze shook his head to gain some focus in his mind. Then he spoke.
"Who?"
"I...I don't know"
"What did they do to you?" Bronze questioned
"They asked me were you where, Princess" Twilight said gesturing her head to the Princess.
Bronze pushed him self up onto his rear legs exposing his chest. All the scars and permanent marks. Then he pointed to one mark in the center of his chest it was a triangle with a sword shape inside of it.
"Did they had this mark on their chests?"
"I....didn't see their chests. They wore heavy black hooded coats."
"Then we'll have to assume it them."
"Who Bronze?" Celestia asked
"The very same individuals ordered to kill you." Bronze said.
"Wha...what?" Twilight looked at Bronze with an face of deep confusion.
"I have been sent back to stop Celestia's murder." He said blankly
"Sent from where?" Twilight asked
"60 years from now"
"By who?"
"You."
