Bronze sat on a cloud. His mind racing, his bruises aching.

Where could they have taken Silver? That was the question he was trying to answer.

If they wanted to be able to pick up a response it have to be either Canterlot, Ponyvile, The Everfree forest, or Cloudsdale. Bronze did have 2 days, however he feared Celestia's pounding him would probably stick with him for a few days. Bronze continued to think.

Canterlot Castle: Celestia

Celestia lay on the floor. Crying.

"What have I done?" she asked herself

She feared that now her life was over. After what she did to Bronze, she felt she would be lucky if he showed any sadness to her death. This brought her to heavy sobs. By throwing Bronze out a window she had doomed herself. She decided that this was it. She stood up. She walked to a door opposite of the bathroom door. This led to her small office. She went to the desk. Pulled two pieces of paper and a pen. She began writing on the first sheet of paper.

"Meet me on the top of the tallest castle tower, Midnight. -Princess Celestia"

She then wrote the same thing on the second piece.

The first she sent out to Bronze.

The second she sent to Rarity's home.

Then she waited.

Bronze read the paper quickly.

Midnight? On top of the tallest tower? What is she going to throw me off it? He thought

He was a little bit angry at himself and her. Himself for yelling at Celestia, and Celestia for hitting him against the wall and then throwing him out a window. He decided to attend this little meeting.

10:00 PM: Unknown location

The Dark Queen's spies had found the paper sent by Celestia quickly. The Dark Queen read it. She grinned a large evil grin. This was too goo to be true. First she threw her own lover and protector out a window then she surrenders HERSELF over. This was going to very easy..unless...a trap. Celestia was setting up a trap. This was going, although without Bronze her resistance will be in vain. Right? Maybe Celestia did have a plan. No. She couldn't have any kind of possibly successful plan. Could she? Her royal guard was horrible in combat. Her student was the same. She herself would probably get a good hit off, but in the end would be overwhelmed. Maybe she really was surrendering herself. The Dark Queen smiled then called for her guards to bring Silver. Her Throne room was a large 80 feet long by 60 feet wide and 20 feet high square. It had a long red carpet going from a door centered on one side of the room to throne exactly opposite to the door. Two and One appeared coming through the door. One carried the child.

Silver had her fore hooves tied together. And her rear hooves were also tied together. She was also blind folder, but her mouth no longer had tape on it. For a small child she was surprisingly brave, considering she had been kidnapped. One set her down on her flank facing the Princess, then removed the blindfold and held her head facing the Dark Queen. The Dark Queen was a unicorn. She levitated the letter Celestia had sent to Silver for her to read it.

"See this?" She asked "this is your mother accepting death,by my hooves. In two hours your mother will be dead. How does that make you feel, angry, upset, does it make you want to cry?"

Silver just stared.

"Well?!" The Dark Queen questioned impatient.

Silver continued to stare.

"Argh!" The Dark Queen used her magic to send Silver 35 feet to her right. Silver hit the stone floor hard and just slid a few feet. Silver curled up on the floor, rubbed her new bruises, and sobbed.

"Yes girl! Your mother's heart will cease to beat in a matter of hours. After that its your turn, then we hunt your father and all of your little friends, and those 'aunts' of yours!"

Silver cried even more loudly.

11:00 PM: Canterlot

Bronze walked through the streets. Past several shops, inns, and homes. He carried a saddle bag. In it he had man items. On one side he had a large batch of very unstable chemicals, each secure in their own little bottles. In the other he had small boxes with detonation mechanisms attached and a small remote detonator. He knew the Dark Queen would strike Celestia tonight. Bronze and her were done for, and she figured Bronze would just let Celestia die now. The Dark Queen was going to be horribly mistaken. Bronze wore a small watch

11:10

Need to make this fast. He gently arose by his wings and flew for the tallest tower in Cantertlot. The center tower in the large square that was Canterlot Castle. Four towers bordered it. Each on the corner of the square castle. Bronze knew this was it. He ended it now. No problems later.

11:30 PM Canterlot Castle.

Celestia walked the corridors one last time, so many memories. She couldn't bare to look any pony in the eye so she simply pulled a blank scroll from her own saddle bag and pretended to read it when ever she saw someone. She watched the clocks on the walls.

11:45

This was it time to go to the roof. She walked to her bedroom. Opened the door. Walked in and quickly drew a pen and wrote on the blank piece of paper.

"Dear Bronze- Our time together was short, but it was the best time of my life. Goodbye forever. -your lover and Princess, Celestia."

She sobbed as the set the note on the bed and walked to the balcony. She flew through the clouds to the highest tower.

11:58 PM: Atop the tallest tower.

Bronze finished laying the explosives beneath the shingles and quickly replaced the shingles. Then he walked to the edge of the roof and dropped down through a window below into a dark library beneath the roof and waited. He heard sobbing...Celestia. Then he checked his watch.

It turned 12:00 just as he looked. Then he heard 3 more objects land on the roof. Now time to go to work. Bronze thought.

He silently climbed out of the window and using little stones and window sills that protruded slightly from the tower. Scaled his way around the building. No harness or rope. Just his hooves. He was maybe three feet below the roof. He circled the roof until he saw the rear hooves, flank and, rainbow tail of Celestia. He then waited.

"Celestia." he recognized the Dark Queens voice "You have come to die for your child, yes?"

"That I have." Celestia said composed and grim. "Where is she."

"Right here" One said. He heard sobs from Silver.

"Release her." Celestia ordered.

"We will in due time." The Dark Queen said "But we wanted her to watch as her own mother was killed"

"You monsters." Celestia insulted absolutely disgusted

"One keep Silver focused on her mother" The Dark Queen ordered "Two Ready your pistol"

Bronze heard the click of a magazine being inserted in to the HP. Then a another click, as the hammer was readied.

"Goodbye Celestia..Two...3....2...1...FIRE!" The Dark Queen yelled. When she had said 2 Bronze sprang into action. He propelled himself onto the roof. Wrapped his right fore-hoof around Celestia's neck and pulled her off the roof. Then he flew her into the small library below and whispered loudly "Stay down!"

"What's this!" The Dark Queen exclaimed "Where did she go!?"

Suddenly something flew over her head "What in the..!" something zoomed to her left and when she looked Two was dead. His neck twisted in a way it shouldn't be. One released Silver and stood at the ready. Suddenly Bronze dropped before them "Run." was all he said. Bronze grabbed Silver and the two of them seemed to disintegrate into dust. The dust moved across the roof and down into the library beneath. Silver and Bronze rematerialized in the library and Bronze flew out quickly.

One shouted into his radio "Three! Four! Five! Get here fast Two is dead I need backup!" he loaded his pistol with a flare and fired directly into the air

The flare blinded Bronze in mid flight and made it easy for Three Four and Five, who were flying towards him, to see him. Bronze saw One take aim. He heard the whiz of their silent fire arms and the bullets they shot as he flew in a large circle around the tower. Three was catching up with him. Unable to reload Three simply came up on Bronze's right and hit him hard with his left hoof. Bronze blocked one of Three's hits and instead countered with his own a vicious headbutt. Three was dazed and flying for the tower now. He hit the wall and fell the rest of the way to the ground.

"Three!" Bronze heard One yell.

"Four, Five! Kill him!" One shouted

Bronze changed course and flew towards Four and Five. As he passed between them in mid air he brought up his fore hooves giving each a vicious blow to the head, dazing them. Four recovered quickly, reloaded and fired at Bronze. Four of the bullets missed Bronze. The last hit him in the flank just north of his cutie mark. He felt the pain as the bullet left no exit wound. Bronze trailed off course and skidded across the roof of the tower. Opposite side to One and the Dark Queen. He stood.

"You can't win you moron!" The Dark Queen shouted

Bronze shaking all over said "Oh...yeah?" he drew the detonator from his satchel.

Before he could press the button, One tackled him. The detonator slid across the roof directly out of his reach. On his back now, Bronze lay beneath One, One sat up on top of him and used his fore hooves to pound Bronze's face. Bronze took several hits, blocked and coughed blood. Then returned the favor with a bent rear leg hitting One's spine and flank. Four and Five just watched the fight. Bronze hit One in throat and pushed him off. Bronze stood. One lay on the ground coughing. Four and Five now entered the fight. Four flew and tackled Bronze. Bronze and Four slid across the shingles and hit the detonator with their bodies. The detonator was forced off the roof. Celestia caught it below with her magic and brought it into the library.

Bronze managed to sit up on Four and put both his fore hooves on either side of Four's head and brought their heads together, hard enough to make Four black out. He then picked Four up and tossed him from the roof. As Bronze turned Five was already in front of him standing by his rear legs, Five lifted Bronze and threw him off the tower. Bronze was able to fly with his wings and as Five turned around to say "Well he's dealt with" Bronze wrapped his right fore leg around his neck and bit Five's ear off as he chocked him.

Bronze spit the ear off the tower and said "You just made a fatal mistake, idiot."

Five yelled in pain from his missing ear and as he passed out from air deprivation he simply said "No...."

Bronze let Five fall backwards off the tower. Then he saw one aiming his hoof at him. He heard the whiz and felt the bullet enter his throat. Bronze flew backwards a few feet then regained himself and put a hoof to his bleeding throat. As One now took aim at his head, Bronze flew fast towards him and used his hooves to redirect the pistol to One's own head and pulled the trigger for him. Then as One's body fell limp Bronze pointed the lifeless hoof at The Dark Queen and said "Good...bye." However as he pulled the trigger he heard a click. Out of bullets. He let One's body fall dead on the roof. The Dark Queen smiled and her horn glowed.
Bronze was hoisted into air, he tried to move a hoof to his bleeding throat but the Dark Queen kept his hooves away from his throat. He began to bleed out.

He heard Celestia's voice "Hooves off Bronze!" then he heard a light click and the rapid beeping of the bomb beneath The Dark Queen. Bronze fell to the roof and the Dark Queen lunged at him. The bomb exploded.

Bronze awoke now. He was felt hooves on his throat. Soft hooves. His vision was blurred but he could see the figure on had an absolute white colored mane. His vision cleared. Silver. He felt her pressure on his wound. He lay motionless too weak to move. He saw Silver in tears, he saw her lips move as she shouted for somepony. Celestia came into his vision now. She showed a face of determination, she looked Bronze in the eyes and said something, but he couldn't hear her. It was as if the world was mute. She left his vision and came back with what looked like a shred remainder of his satchel. She improvised a bandage by wrapping the leather shred around his throat and tying it tight on the back of his throat. He saw her lift him. She was strong. She held him in her fore hooves and as his hearing came back he could hear Silver's sobs. He was too weak to move much. He felt his heart beating slowly, his breathing shallow, and his limbs were numb. Celestia got him to his feet and moved his right fore hoof around her neck to help keep him on his feet as they walked across the ruined rooftop. Bronze saw the lifeless body of One. Celestia used her magic to clear some of the destroyed shingles. Revealing a very gory Dark Queen. The explosion had gone through most of her torso. Her skin burnt off to an extreme. Her rib cage and major organs were visible. Bronze smiled at this. The smell was awful a stench of blood and death hung in the air like a dark fog. Bronze instantly felt weak. He collapsed where he stood. He heard Celestia scream for him and try to hold him up. He fell against the destroyed rooftop. His vision was surrounded by black tunnel. The tunnel got larger taking up more of his vision. Then the tunnel took his vision entirely.
