Chapter 2: The Talk

As the sun set in the west Sugar Cube Corner slowly began to run out of customers, so they decided to take it easy and eat some of the left overs from the day. When Mr Cake was finally sitting down next to Mrs Cake, across from Pinkie, Mrs Cake cleared her throat, getting everypony's attention.

"So, Pinkie, do you remember what I was talking to you about this morning before we were interrupted?" Mrs Cake asked, her eyes glued to Pinkie's. Pinkie shifted nervously in her chair, making Mr Cake raise an eyebrow at her and his wife. After a long day of work all he could think about was how busy it was, and how many of each product did he bake today, all other thoughts were far back in his mind.

"Do you mean when you told me that I should stop eating all the frosting, and then had to pull some muffins out of the oven before they burned?" Pinkie asked, attempting to dodge the question using another conversation that had also happened that morning. Mrs Cake frowned, knowing that Pinkie knew what conversation she was talking about, but was trying to change the topic so she could avoid it. Although Mr Cake was more interested in the frosting story he knew better than to talk without being spoken to when Mrs Cake was acting this way.

"Pinkie, you know what I'm talking about, don't try to change the subject" Mrs Cake said in a very serious tone, making Mr Cake tense up a bit. The last time she got this way he was nearly forced to sleep in the guest room, and this was way before Pinkie showed up. He can still remember her hooves digging into his back that night, a smile on her face every time he grunted in pain. Pinkie and Mrs Cake gave him a confused look when he shook in his chair because of the memory.

"Anyways" Mrs Cake said as she shook her head, "What happened that made you take a pregnancy test, and why was it positive?" Pinkie began to look around nervously while fidgeting in her seat, the pressure she was feeling from Mrs Cake's hard stare was making her more than just uncomfortable. Mr Cake looked away for a moment, just in time to see the twins working together to get onto the counter where a batch of chocolate cupcakes were sitting. The only reason they still had that batch was because they didn't bake properly, and Mrs Cake was afraid they could make somepony sick, and now their two young foals were trying to get at them. Mr Cake freaked out to say the least, and was in the kitchen within seconds, leaving Pinkie all alone with Mrs Cake.

"Are you going to talk now that he's gone?" Mrs Cake asked, having made the assumption that Mr Cake's presence was what made Pinkie nervous. Eventually Pinkie cracked under the pressure, just as Mr Cake sat back down, so he was also there to witness Pinkie talking faster than thought possible.

"TWOWEEKSAGODISCORDBROKEOUTANDCAMETOMEATNIGHTANDWEHADSEXBUTITHOUGHTITWASADREAMUNTILISAWHIMTHENEXTMORNING" Pinkie said quickly, gasping for breath when she finished. Both of the Cakes looked at each other in confusion while their brains figured out what Pinkie had just said, gasping when they did.

"Did you say Discord, as in the god of chaos?!" Mrs Cake said loudly, making the twins, who were again trying to get the chocolate cupcakes, stop what they were doing and run over to the table. Pinkie nodded as tears started to run down her face because of how scared she was. She was scared that the Cakes might kick her out and tell everypony what she did, which means she's lose all her friends, and would end up being all alone. Mrs Cake sighed and walked around the table, pulling Pinkie into a warm hug to tell her everything was okay.

"You aren't upset with me?" Pinkie asked as she looked up at Mrs Cake.

"Of course not, how could we be mad at you for doing what you thought was right?" Mrs Cake said as she rubbed the tears off of Pinkie's face while giving her a warm smile. Pinkie started to giggle during the hug while tears still ran down her face, but this time they were tears of joy. Once she had calmed down everypony headed up to bed, and Pinkie fell fast asleep.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Pinkie opened her eyes to find herself standing in the middle of Ponyville, but there was no pony around. She searched all around town for any sign of ponies, but froze on the spot when she realized that town hall was replaced with a giant mountain of chocolate cake. With a gigantic gasp she ran over to the mountain, bouncing all the way up to the top of the mountain.

"YODEL-LE-EI-HO!" Pinkie shouted as she got to the top of the mountain. She looked around happily, now noticing Discord laying down next to her on the mountain. Before he could say anything she pounced him, sending both of them rolling down the hill. Pinkie giggled happily the entire way down, landing at the bottom on top of Discord. Without any warning she kissed him, and for one of the few times in Discord's life, he was speechless.

"Wow..." Discord said slowly, a smile starting to creep across his face, "Mind if I join you as you devour Mt Coco?"

"Go right ahead!" Pinkie said happily as she bounced off of Discord and into the mountain of cake. Discord laughed quietly before jumping into the mountain after her, both of them picking half of the mountain to eat. When they met up in the middle of the mountain Pinkie gave him another quick kiss, managing to make the thousand year old god blush.

"You really need to stop doing that" Discord said bashfully, making Pinkie giggle.

"Why, it's so fun!" Pinkie said happily as she kissed him again, making him blush harder. Discord sighed happily before he went back to devouring the mountain with Pinkie, and within a few short minutes all that remained of Mt Coco was a few crumbs that were on Pinkie's face, but she quickly fixed that.

"That was good" Pinkie said as she rubbed her belly, which was now twice it's size. Discord snapped his fingers and a small foal with a brown coat and bright pink hair. Pinkie giggled happily as the foal waddled over to her, landing clumsily in her lap.

"This might be your foal" Discord said happily, getting Pinkie to turn to look at him. When Discord smiled at her her vision started to fade, and from far away she could hear Discord speak to her.

"See you tomorrow night my beautiful pie"
