Prologue:

All my life I wanted to be a part of something bigger.  I wanted to be more than the dull farmers my family has been known as for so long; I wanted to live for the thrill of living.  But never would I have guessed that of all my adventures…

I thought I was destined to be a homepony.  To take over the family business, and live up in those dark, lonely mountains my whole life.  No one in my tiny family understood my love for excitement or culture.  So, I did as any good teenager would do; fight back by hiding my emotion in a dark corner of my heart.  So, you can guess how surprised I was when somepony who wasn’t even looking found it there.
