Evening had come to Appleewood in the autumn. None had been out except for some young Changelings. Rarity had returned to Ponyville after Twilight's Birthday. The Changelings from their kingdom by Whitetail Woods had studied the quiet forest. Fancy Pants and the royal guards were out. A white pony from Canterlot with a star sign cutie mark, and a bunch of keys were out with them too. A Changeling was on his own, as he got noticed by the pony with the star sign cutie mark.

"They are over here." the whte stallion told his friends.

"Hurry, and don't let them get away." Fancy Pants told the guards.

The Changelings flew away, but a Changeling got left behind. None of the Canterlot guards would stay the night in the forest, so they left after watching the Changelings fly away. The Changeling then went to a hill by the Applewood sign, as there were a view over the illuminated city.
