It was the day after Nightmare Night. Luna stared out her bedroom window, sighing. Tia seemed pleased with last night's "events", though. "Oh, Luna. Won't you take a joke?" Celestia chided with a smile on her face.

Right, because I can't take a joke!, The Princess of the Night thought to herself. I'm just an extremely old pony with absolutely no sense of humor

Luna went over to her bed and immediately collapsed on top of it. Her starry mane flowed with a supernatural wind as she tried to remember what happened yesterday morning...

Celestia was talking to some buisnessponies from... where was it? Oh yeah, Manehattan. I didn't want to interrupt her, but she looked oh so bored... Tia saw me and dismissed the buisnessponies. "Luna!" she said. "I have a surprise for you!"

Surprises, huh? I was never that enthusiastic about surprises... unless they involved moon cakes.
"All right, what is it?" I asked, pushing my magical mane from my eyes.

"Well... maybe, just maybe, some ponies from the town of Ponyville wish to honour you this Nightmare Night..."

I looked at her, unimpressed.

"Oh yes, and they have moon cak-"IM GOING!!!!" I interrupted. Suddenly I was grinning like a maniac.

Tease me all you want, moon cakes are my weakness. Ponyville's moon cakes were delicious, especially when that pink pony made them.

"I also heard," continued Celestia, "that the Royal Canterlot Voice...trend.... is coming back, being very popular to royalty." Celestia grinned. "This could be the perfect chance to test those royal vocal chords!"

I gave Tia a big, ursa major hug. "WE ROYALLY THANK THOU FOR THY USEFUL INFORMATION!", I shouted.

Tia laughed, then said to me, "Run along little filly, you have to prepare for tonight's BIG event!"

I bounded out of the Hall of the Sun, and turned around at the last second. Celestia was looking out of the window, still grinning. A small twitching was to be seen under her eye. I regarded it as nothing, and flew out to prepare.
