Darkness falls across the land, the midnight hour is close at hand...

"How close are we to Ponyville?" Big Mac asked, looking at Applejack. They had just escaped with Rainbow Dash on a journey back to Ponyville after this mess.

"About an hour away, bro." She said, running in front. Big Mac was close behind with Rainbow as the Eyes in the Sky or Surveillance. She came down and stopped the 2 earth ponies by landing in front of them."What's wrong?"

"Factory for Boxes ahead. I think it's time to go...." She flew over to a box and put it over her body, "Metal Gear."

"To be honest, I agree. Besides, It won't be easy to get back into town with all the crazy mares on the loose." The two put boxes over their heads and followed Rainbow on the path. Though a stupid plan it seemed at first, as soon as they arrived in Ponyville, it became apparent that they weren't necessary, but they kept them on anyway. Big Mac was surprised by how well the plan worked.

The ponies discarded the boxes at the barn and went inside. Big Mac closed the barn door, while the 2 mares got settled. They wanted to wait until this all blew over, so why not wait in the barn? They boarded up the door and windows, waiting for safety.

"Rainbow?" Applejack began.

"Yeah?" Rainbow replied.

"I've got something to tell yeah." Big Mac knew where this was going and decided to vacate to the kitchen. He had to give them privacy.

"Me too."

"I have an idea as to why I wasn't goin' mad. It's because there's some...uh.....MARE I've eyed." Instead of saying somepony, she blurted out MARE, hoping it didn't give it away too soon.

"Actually, me too." She blushed. "I just hope she loves me too." She looked at Applejack, sincerely.

"Who is she?" Applejack asked. Rainbow just looked at her until she got the hint. "Oh.............come here you." She leaned in and kissed her. The kiss did not last an eternity, she didn't feel like she could fly, there were no sparks or fireworks. It was just her and Rainbow. And that was more than enough. They hugged for a while, tearing up too. It seemed like hours. Rainbow broke it.

"I'm glad you love me, too." They kissed and rolled in the hay for a while.

Meanwhile, Big Mac thought about his miss-adventures.

All ah wanted to do was talk to Fluttershy. I really wanna just tell her how I feel. When I see her again, I'll.....admit my feelings.

A single tear shed down his muzzle and hit the floor. But, faster than you can say SHIT, there was a noise.

"Hmm?" He looked at the door, hoping it wasn't who he thought it was. The noise, now sounded like.....running? But why? He then realized...somepony was gonna break the door down! Before he could stop it....

SLAM!

The creaky door caved in and was thrown off it's hinges. The perpetrator? "Fluttershy?" He said, facing her.

"I've been looking all over for you, Mac." She charged for him. Just then, Rainbow and Applejack came in and shouted, "LOOK OUT!" in unison. But Macintosh had a better idea.

"STOP!" He said, putting a hoof out. "There's something ah want to get off ma chest." Fluttershy stopped and looked at him, confused. "Fluttershy, I love you." She blushed furiously. Suddenly, she lost the crazy gleam in her eye. It was clear that he snapped her out of it. She walked up and started to cry.

"I'm..so...so...so sorry....on how I acted. I never knew..." She was stopped by a hug.

"I forgive yeah. I just wish ah could have said it sooner." He was about to kiss her when..."Wait. do you feel the same way..." He couldn't finish as Fluttershy touched her lips to his. It lasted a while and felt like hours of bliss. They hugged too.

Lyra and Bon-Bon showed up, saying that while he was gone, Lyra paired up with Bon-Bon. They patch up the door and stay with the 4 ponies. The next morning, the barn door's open to reveal 3 pairs of couples, sleeping together. The crowd of mares, missing the mane 6 and Trixie, leave and curse to an awakened Big Macintosh.

"Yup." He goes back to sleep, sure that the 6 of them were safe.
