It was bright. And big. Brighter than everything they’ve ever seen. When it landed in Canterlot a week ago it caused a mass panic all over Equestria. Some predicted it, some hoped for it, some didn’t believe in it. Some accepted it, some loved it, some hated it and some even went insane. But the Princesses said there was nothing to fear. Now it was just necessary to wait, stay calm and carry on. Until something happens. Because basically, the only thing they knew about it was that it was made of some kind of metal, about 500 meters high and could fly without wings. Oh, and there was this sign on it. White stars and red stripes. It seemed strangely familiar, somehow like from another world.

Same time, different world

It was 2 months ago that he read the strange ad on Equestria Daily. "Go to the journey of your life. You like science and travelling? You want to see lands far away? Apply *here*". Today something extraordinary happened. In fact, it was so extraordinary I'm making records about the happenings. To analyze it when it's over (or someone knows what happened in case whatever is in the Boxafly will kill us).

Pinkie Pie suggested that name. I know, it sounds silly, but maybe that's why we should use it. To stay calm and make fun of it. It's the way to go now. Besides, nobody had any better ideas for a name. So Boxafly.

Well, let me explain what the Boxafly IS at all. Frankly, we don't know. This morning a big box, about 500x500x500 meters big landed in Canterlot. It didn't even have wings, it looked like if flew with the flames coming from its sides. Nobody could explain me that technology, neither anypony saw it before. And as if that weren't unbelievable enough, nobody got hurt! They cordoned off downtown because of the strange weather. It was rained all night, but the Pegasi promised they had nothing to do with it and there was nothing they could do against it. Now I think it had something to do with the Boxafly. Still it's strange. Just like they've already been watching us a long time. Just like...TV?
