When the Pegasus Device Was built and created something was not right something was unexpected when it was built.

It was alive. Yes alive it was alive from the start...But nopony knows that it is alive not even its creator Contrail. And what I mean by alive as in it specks, it sees, it breathes, it thinks, it needs, it cares, it even dreams. By dreams I mean it can sleep as well. It is like everypony else it is kinda like them but in many different ways. And you would expect that the Pegasus Device loves its job. No it hates its job it hates to have to slaughter innocent foals every day of its life. It hates to see young, and old or probably 13 year old foals lose their lives just to make rainbows... It hates that so much...

When it is time to use him, what I meant to say was time to force him to murder innocent foals... He cries, he sobs, and he begs them to stop...

But how can a machine talk without a mouth? He can still speck. But they can't hear him, they will never hear him, no matter how loud he sobs or even screams... It never works....

He regrets his sins...All of his sins that he was forced to do... Even the darkest sin imaginable and that darkest sin was when they forced him to make the element of loyalty just like them...Those sick heartless bastards made the Pegasus Device turn that loyal, caring pony into a heartless, cruel monster...That is his darkest sin... He has nightmares about it, he has them every time he sleeps. It never leaves him; he has so much guilt for that. In that nightmare he could just watch her being hurt by him...Torturing her until she breaks from sanity, and turns into a monster just like he is. He doesn't like being a monster; he wants to be a angle, a hero, even a guardian angel. It wants to protect the ones in need, it wants to help who are in pain the ones who are suffering, and it wants to stop who do sinful acts... But he knows it won’t happen.

And why they wanted Rainbow Dash because they wanted to break her element, they needed to break her element so that she can be a cold blooded monster just like they are, so she can let their victims see the loyalist pony is a monster and wants to make them feel that their lives meant nothing.

But the Pegasus Device knows that their lives meant something, he wants to say to them that they will be the best of the best, that they will be known for the great ideas or intelligence or whatever they are good at, and he wants to tell them that they will have a good life that they will take on what life throws at them. But still how could a machine talk without a mouth?

And now you know that the Pegasus Device is not a monster but to himself he thinks he is. And you would think that why can't he just stop? He can't now matter how hard he tries he can't. He is only controlled by those monsters that work in the Rainbow Factory...

But one day he will get his well deserved freedom from that nightmare and save many lives. But will that day ever come?

Or will he just forever slaughter innocent foals.
