Twilight had been to the Cute Cenera in Sugarcube Corner. It's been two years since Twilgith first had met with Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo at the cute cenera. Later that night were Twilight going home to the library, as she fell asleep in her bed. Twilight had a nightmare later that night. The unicorn had been hearing screams from and unseen entity. Suddenly were a burnt mare showing up in front of Twilight that got startled. Just as the burnt entity with sharp claws was about to attack were the unicorn waking up.

"Whoa, it was just a dream." Twilight told herself.

"There was this burnt entity with sharp claws and sharp teeth." the unicorn said.

That made Twilight think about an old Ponyville legend. Many years ago an old mare lived in a house near the library. The old mare had been told to be blamed for the disappearing of some fillies in a forest one summer evening. Then one day the mare got burnt in an accidental fire in her house. That fire accident made the pony very sensitive to light. Ponyville got haunted by the ghost of the old mare every night, and she would not harm ponies if they had their lights on. A stallion that went home from a party one night in Ponyville crossed a park, and he got claw marks across hos body after being attacked by that entity. Later that noon had Twilight been going to the bookstore. The owner knew about that legend too.

"Nopony had seen the ghost of the burnt mare in ages, and others say that it's just a legend." the pony told Twilight.
