Spike had made a reunion for Peewee and his family in Whitetail Woods that week before Scootaloo's birthday. Spike had thought that phoenixes only lived in filly fairytale books. But then had Spike seen Peewee and his family for the first time last year under his first dragon migration. Spike found a book with phoenix pictures.

"Phoenixes had been discovered for thousands of years ago in the Saddle Arabian mountains and fairs." Spike read.

"Only few ponies in Canterlot and Saddle Arbia including Princess Celestia could handle phoenixes as pets." the baby dragon were reading.

Spike read about the annual phoenix migration in the autumn. That nightly phoenix migration from Whitetail Woods to the mountains by Appleloosa had been seen by few ponies. Fluttershy and Applejack had told how they had seen phoenixes on their way to their yearly summer butterfly migration in the Canterlot mountains.
