I was sitting next to my two best friends Sweetie Belle and Applebloom. Applebloom was telling us a scary story about this mystical Stallion That lives in the Everfree forest. My names Scootaloo and I was having a sleepover at Appleblooms when she told this ridiculous story.
" And the SlenderPony will eat any little filly who wanders in there!' Applebloom said trying to scare me and Sweetie Belle, I wasn’t scared but Sweetie Belle was. She was shaking in fear.
"W-wow that’s soo scary!" Sweetie belle said.
"Are you kidding? that was so stupid! there’s no such thing as SlenderPony!" I said
"Oh yeah? Well I dare ya to go in the Everfree forest tonight for at least 30 minutes and look for him, if you cant find him yer right an im wrong." Applebloom just dared me... ME! Scootaloo! I never turn down a challenge!
"Fine I’ll do it and prove that SlenderPony isn’t real!" I said proudly hopping up from my pillow I was sitting an and ran to the door.
"Lets go then!" I said running out with Applebloom close behind and Sweetie Belle was trotting behind slowly.

It was a short walk to the Forest being Sweet apple acres is so close to it.
"Well here we are... The Everfree forest... are you ready scoots?" Applebloom said, I think she was trying to intimidate me, but I wasn’t falling for that!
"Yeah im ready!" I said promptly.
"Scoots, You don’t need to do this... even if he isn’t real its still dangerous!" Sweetie Belle said weakly.
"Nonsense! maybe I’ll even get my cutie in night time adventuring!" I said walking in the forest, I felt there eyes staring at me. I felt like they were worried, but I knew there was no such thing as SlenderPony.

Crunch!
Snap!
Crack!
I heard these sounds coming from the forest. The trees made a large canopy over my head blocking out the moon and its light. It only was seen through patches were the trees don’t cover, The ground was moist from the rain that we had gotten earlier today. I was looking around and I saw nothing, then again SlenderPony could be standing if front of me but I couldn’t see because its so dark. I began to walk through so bushes, but while I walked through them I heard something.
DOYOUSEEIT?
I jumped from hearing that and looked around and I saw nothing. I was a little scared now, I just told myself it was all in my head. I decided to take a seat underneath a very large tree. I sat down and exhaled, trying to calm down and reason with what just happened.
YOUSEEITDONTYOU?
I heard it again I shot up, im terrified now my legs were shaking my thoughts were buzzing around I couldn’t concentrate.
DOYOUSEE?DOYOUSEE?DOYOUSEE?DOYOUSEE?
"NO I DONT STOP!!!" I screamed running back to were I entered the forest. I saw the trees split into a path as I jumped an ran from the voices.
DOYOUSEE?DOYOUSEE?DOYOUSEE?DOYOUSEE?
I was right there, I saw Applebloom and Sweetie Belle, I don’t think they saw me, but I yelled there names.
"APPLEBLOOM! SWEETIE BELLE! HELP!" I called out, there eyes shot over to my direction and saw me running to them. I was still in the forest I was so close to the exit I started feeling relieved. My hoof could almost touch Applebloom when a large black tentacle grabbed my back hoof and dragged me back in, Applebloom chased after my body dragging on the ground, I was crying and calling to Applebloom to grab me. She tried but it was too late the large tentacle like thing dragged me too fast and Applebloom couldn't keep up.

I awoke in a dark, Rundown house dazed and scared. I was laying on the floor, it was wooden but most of the planks are gone, the walls had windows but they were boarded up . There was nothing other then a couch and a coffee table in there, I was laying on the floor in front of the table. I saw a door to the left of the couch, it looked like a kitchen.
"H-hello? anyone here?" I said very sheepishly.
I heard something walking, it sounded like it was coming from the kitchen. I was terrified and shaking. I soon saw a Silhouette of a pony standing in the door, it was hard to see anything about thew pony it was so dark. The pony approached me, I soon saw its face, or should I saw I didn't see its face... It didn't have a face, It seemed to wear a suit with a red tie and a cutie mark that was a circle with an X in it. I tried to stand up and back away from it but my left hind hoof was chained to the ground, increasing my fear.
"W-who are you? what do you want?" I said staring at the strange pony-like creature. It just looked at me. Was it gonna kill me? Was it gonna eat me like in the story? Im so worried... It looked down at my chains a tentacle shot from its back and gently unlocked the shackle and removed it from my leg.
"T-thanks..?" Im not sure if I should be thanking him or not, I mean didn’t he tie me up first?
"Uhm... W-who are you? what do you want with me?" I asked scared if he was going to kill me or not. His large white head looked up from the ground and looked at me. I felt like he was peering into my soul. He walked away and motioned me to the kitchen. I shaking and barely able to walk, followed him. In there was a stove, dishwasher, a sink and some cabinets the doors either flung open or missing. There was also a table with two chairs, and placed on the table was a photo. I noticed that SlenderPony grabbed the photo with a tentacle and gave it to me. It was hard to see but I could make make out Celestia, Luna, and a pony in the center of the picture but that pony I couldn’t recognize Then a gentle tap was felt on my back, I turned around and that same tentacle pointed at the pony in the center of the picture and then at SlenderPony.
"Y-you are... r-royalty?' I said. I couldn't believe it. I don’t think it was true, It CANT be true. But it was... After I asked him that he shook his head in approval.
"W-what happened to you?" I asked. He looked over to the only close cabinet, and opened it with one for his tentacles. In there was a book he grabbed it and handed it to me. Inside was a piece of paper with some writing on it, I began to read aloud
"Dear Star Blare,
We regretfully inform you that we must banned you from the Canterlot Castle and, with a heavy heart we must banish you to the Everfree Forest and placed a spell on it so you cannot leave. We are sorry to do this but you cannot get away with what you will do. I am sorry, You will be missed.

Celestia"
I read and I was in shock... I turned the page to see an other note, this one was written by SlenderPony, or at the time his name was Star Blare.
"Day 1,395 Of my banishment,
The mutation process has finished... I am no longer Star Blare, I no longer control the stars, but with this mutation my sense of smell, hearing, and vision increased majorly. Although I have lost the ability to talk, I also realized I have these tentacles that I can control. Im not very good at using them yet, but I have until.. Well I don’t know... I've been alive for thousands of years, I don’t know if I can ever die..." I read, a tear came to my eye. SlenderPony closed the book and grabbed it from my hooves.
"I-I cant believe this... what did you do?" I asked. He opened the book to a page that said
'I was more powerful then your dear Princess...'
I couldn’t believe this, There was a pony more powerful the Celestia.
"well... that’s.. that’s terrible! But then were did that story about you eating fillies?" I asked. He opened to another page that just said 'Propaganda and lies...' I couldn’t believe it. She was so surprised about this, why did nopony know about this? I need to tell the other ponies!
"SlenderPony, or Stare Blare which every your prefer, if you let me tell my friends back in ponyville we can help, trust me. I want to help you..." I said, I meant this sincerely. I wanted him to be free of this prison. Selderpony looked at me, I felt a little worried and then he nodded his head and handed me the picture of him, Celestia, and Luna.
"Thanks SlenderPony, You're made out to be this terrible stallion in those stories but you're so nice." I said walking out, the fact that he trusted her was surprising but he wasn’t going to let him down.

I finally got out of the forest and saw Ponyville, I was happy yet it did not derail me from my mission! I walked to the Sweet Apple Acres to see Applebloom. As I walked there I saw a flayer laying on the ground, curious I picked it up, It was a Lost Filly poster with my face on it, "how long was I gone?" I said silently. Soon afterward I approached Sweet Apple Acres I was dashing to the door and I knocked, a tad bit later the door opened and applejack was standing there,
"Hello- wait... Scootaloo?! Yer alive?!" I had no idea what she meant
"uh, yeah why wouldn't I be?" I asked
"well ya been gone fer about five days now... We uh, lost hope..." applejack said grimly
"you really thought I was dead? Well that's uh, interesting... Anyway where is Applebloom?" I asked
"livin' room..." She said with disbelief
"Aaapplebloom!" I called out. I saw Applebloom sitting on the couch she was crying and Sweetie Belle was trying to comfort her. Appleblooms head shot up and looked at me,
"Ew, what's going on here?" I said, they looked at each other and blushed slightly.
"Scoots... W-we thought you died..." Sweetie Belle whispered.
"yeah I've heard." I said.
"What was all that? Was that SlenderPony?" Applebloom asked as she sniffled and wiped tears from her eyes.
"Okay listen, Yes it was. But! The SlenderPony isn't evil, he doesn't want to eat any pony... He only wants to be free, free of his prison..." I said as the other fillies stared at me quizzically. "Okay, He used to be a Royal pony named Star Blare, He controlled the stars. He used to live with Celestia and Luna long, long before Nightmare Moon. But Celestia became fearful that this royal pony was too powerful, So scared she would lose her throne she banished him to the Everfree forest and placed a spell upon him never allowing him to leave! He also doesn't eat fillies, the Princess started that story so everypony avoided the forest and him..." after explaining that I was out of breath.
"w-wow... Is that true?" Applebloom asked.
"YES! He even let me leave to get him help! We need to talk to twilight!" I demanded.
"well then! What are we waiting for?" Sweetie Belle declared.
"Let's go!" I said dashing though the door and the others following.
We ran to twilight’s home and knocked on the door loudly. She answered a few moments later.
"Oh hey girls, what's up?" Twilight asked
"Twilight! Let me ask you this... How many ponies are in the royal family?" I asked as we walked in.
"oh well we have Luna the moon princess and we have Celestia the sun princess." twilight said with a smile.
"Wrong! You missed one!" I declared.
"oh? And who Is that?" twilight said humoring me.
"Star Blare or better known as SlenderPony!" I said.
"what are you talking about? SlenderPony is a myth!" twilight said... Typical.
"That's were you are wrong, you see when I was gone for those two days I was taken by SlenderPony. I thought I was gonna die but instead SlenderPony just wanted help. You see he was once long before nightmare Moon SlenderPony was called Star Blare, he was very powerful... Too powerful more powerful the Celestia! Celestia fearing she'll lose the control of equestria banished him to the Everfree forest and placed a spell on it so he can never leave. Over the years he mutated. Soon afterward Celestia spread the SlenderPony story, stopping anypony form finding him!"
Twilight didn’t know how to react to that, She just stood there looking at me and my friends.
"Go ahead and ask Celestia! Then give it to your dragon to use his freaky fire breath on it!" I demanded. Twilight agreed and called for spike.
"Spike start writing this!" Twilight called, huh. Twilight kinda abuses that power, I mean cant she do it? Whatever off topic.
"Dear Princess Celestia,

Me and my Filly friend Scootaloo want to know more about the royal Family, Surely there must be more then two royal ponies!

Twilight Sparkle and Scootaloo" Twilight said as the little dragon jotted it down.
"Wait... Scootaloo?" Spike said
"yes spike... Its a long story..." Twilight said, it wasn’t really that long but whatever.
Spike did that weird fire thing and sent it to Celestia, Soon after maybe 10 minutes afterward we got a reply.
"Dear Twilight,

Im glad you and this filly Scootaloo show interest in the royal family! I guess you've been my pupil long enough that you deserve to know this, the secrets of the Royal family. I'm sending a chariot to your library, it will soon get there soon after you get this letter.

Celestia" Twilight read aloud.
"YES! HAHA!" I shouted.
"Secrets? what secrets?..." Twilight was confused.
"whatever! lets get going! I think I heard the chariot outside!" I yelled.
"I'll be back Spike, watch the fillies!" twilight called out as I dashed through the door and into the awaiting chariot.

About 30 minutes later we arrived at the castle, We approached a large Shimmering gate which a guard opened. As we walked in we were greeted by Celestia herself.
"Well hello Twilight and Scootaloo..." she said. Blah, She so... Formal.
"Sup princess!" I said twilight glared at me angrily.
"I-I'm sorry Princess she doesn’t know how to act in front of royalty" Twilight said bowing.
"Oh its quite alright dear, I was like her when I was her age. Eager, and well curious." Celestia said, I really didn’t care... at all mostly because if she did do this to SlenderPony I’ll never look up at her again.
"Now for the reason your here... The Royal Family..." Celestia said walking to her throne, Me and twilight fallowed.
"Yes Princess." Twilight said.
"Well I suppose you're ready... Long, Long ago me and my sister controlled the sun and moon. But we were not alone, we had some help. You see back then we had three royal ponies. Me The sun Goddess, Luna the Moon goddess, and Star Blare the Star god..." Celestia said staring at us.
"G-god? it was a Stallion?" Twilight said.
"Yes, But not any stallion. He was the nicest stallion that I had ever met and yet to meet... He loved me and Luna. He would watch over us, protect us, even die for us..." Celestia explained with dismay in her voice.
"So then why keep this a secret?" Twilight asked, I already knew why but didn’t say anything.
"Well, I soon realized that he was more powerful then me and Luna. The power he had got to his head and tried to rule over equestria and remove me from the throne..." She said... That lying- Grr! I saw twilight’s mouth open but I shouted at Celestia before she could speak.
"That’s not what happened! That’s not what happened at all! Your lying! YOU got worried he was gonna take over! He did nothing wrong! and YOU banished him to the Everfree forest! YOU made sure he could never leave! All he was doing was his job and you banished him! And YOU spread the rumors of SlenderPony so nopony would go in there!" I shouted as loud as my lungs would let me.
Everypony was silent... Twilight had a look of horror on her face from how I talked to the Princess.
"You're right..." Celestia broke the silence
"W-what?!" Twilight couldn't believe her ears.
"You're right... God dammit... but how do you know?" Celestia asked me.
"Well I was dared to go into the Everfree forest, and while I was walking I kept hearing voices saying-" Celestia then interrupted me
"Do you see it?" She asked.
"Y-yeah... That’s it... How did you know?" I asked.
"Well when we were fillies we used to lay out on the grass and look up at the stars, and he would always move one around and ask us if we see it... He always said that..." Celestia said, I could see the pain in her eyes.
"oh... Anyways I was hearing things and I panicked and ran to the exit of the forest only to be grabbed by a large black tentacle! I awoke later chained to the floor in a run-downed house. then I first saw him, SlenderPony. He was terrifying to look at, but he soon showed me that he isn’t evil and didn’t want to cause me harm... He only wanted my help. He showed me a letter from you saying of his banishment and a picture of you and Luna and Star Blare... He soon silently informed me of his past, and his mutation... He has no mouth, no eyes. and no nose. But hes still a pony dammit! AND WE NEED TO TREAT HIM LIKE ONE!!" By the end of that I was enraged.
"your right scootaloo... In fact, Can you take me to him? I want to mend those broken branches in my family." Celestia said.
"well sure!" I said.
"Twilight come with us!" Celestia said.
"well uh, okay then..." She said hesitating.

We approached SlenderPony's house after a trek through the woods. I knocked on the door and soon afterward its opened slowly, at the sight of Celestia the door flung open.
"Dearest brother! how I have missed thee!" Celestia said walking in and trying to hug SlenderPony. He backed away angrily.
"whats wrong brother?" She asked.
Suddenly the door slammed shut we all looked at the door, Then we noticed from where SlenderPony was standing darkness emanated from covering the whole room.
"w-what going on brother?" Celestia asked, her voice crackling. A whisper was heard from the walls around us.
" YOU FITHY FUCKING BITCH! YOU DARE APRROACH ME AS IF YOU'VE DONT NOTHING WRONG?!" It was like a whisper and yet echoed through the room making it seem so loud.
Then a large tentacle shot to Celestia and wrapped around her neck. She began to choke as SlenderPony Brought her up to him, who was now levitating above the ground.
"P-please Star Blar-!" Celestia tried to say but SlenderPony tightened his grip, the whispers were heard again.
"SILENCE! WHO DARE YOU SPEAK TO ME WENCH!" SlenderPony threw the Blue faced Celestia to the wall distant to him, He threw her with all his might and she let out a blood curdling scream. I looked at her she was broken, Blood pouring from her face, legs broken and she looked as if she was dead...
i saw SlenderPony approaching Celestia, mostly likely to finish her off. Tears in my eyes and running down my face I jumped in front of her and SlenderPony.
"Stop it! Stop it please! this isn’t you! Please STOP IT!!!" I screamed.
i looked up at him. He stopped, and looked down at me. The darkness reseeded and he fall to the ground.
"Oh m-my god, Celestia! WE NEED TO GET HER TO THE HOSPITAL!" Twilight yelled.
"But how? We cant carry her!" I said through my tears.
SlenderPony placed a tentacle on my mane, I looked up at him. Even though he cant show expression I saw sadness in his face, I felt it. His tentacle wiped the tears from my eyes and gently grabbed the beaten Celestia and and walked out, Me and Twilight followed.

We left the Everfree forest, Celestia used every once of her strength to lift the ban on SlenderPony. We entered the hospital to very terrified and scared faces. Twilight called out "HELP! THE PRINCESS IS BLEEDING TO DEATH HERE!!" She called out. Soon doctors rushed out and placed her on a Gurney. They seem to hide there fear of the SlenderPony.
We Found ourselves, Me, Twilight, and SlenderPony waiting outside the ER. Twilight was terrified that she would die. I was about the same but more surprised that SlenderPony was just calmly sitting next to me... Weird. The Doctor walked out to us and said.
"Uh, Well it seems that she was some lacerations on her neck, Her left hind is broken among other bones, and some internal bleeding... Whatever happened to her, she is in bad shape... Uh im gonna let you guys see her now..." The doctor said walking away, I can tell he was terrified of SlenderPony. We entered the ER to talk to Celestia.
"Oh god! Princess! are you okay?!" Twilight said, The answer was obvious, No.
"oh... d-don’t worry about me twilight... I'll be fine..." She said
"This is all my fault... Im sorry princess." I said feeling guilty.
"Don’t feel guilty Scootaloo... you didn’t know, Honestly, I feel like I deserved this. I should have Trusted you Star Blare." Celestia said weakly.
I looked up at SlenderPony he seemed to be cringing, I didn’t know why... But soon the darkness came from his feet again. Oh no.
The whispers came again, they are quiet yet pierce the ears "Celestia! My Dearest sister! I cannot live with the fact that I did this to you!".
"N-no don’t worry about it-" The whispers interrupted Celestia.
"NO! I CANNOT LIVE WITH THIS THOUGHT!" Then, SlenderPony's tentacles reached over to a cabinet and grabbed a scalpel. No. Don’t do it! I shouted in my head but couldn’t say it. The scalpels flew at SlenderPony and shot threw his body, Right threw his heart. Everything grew quiet. Deathly quiet.
He fell to the ground all the darkness flew back to his dead body making a loud 'roar'. We all looked away, and when we looked back the only thing that was left was his cutie mark in blood.
I fell to the ground crying...
“Don’t go...”
A FEW DAYS LATER

"Hey Scootaloo" Twilight said as she entered my room.
"Oh hey Twi, whats up?" I said sitting at my computer chair.
"Well, I just wanted to see how you were doing, its been a few days and all. Just wanted to make sure you were okay." Twilight said.
"Yeah im fine, I'll miss SlenderPony though... He was so nice, so misunderstood..." I said to her.
"Yeah Celestia should be better in a few weeks." Twilight said.
"Hopefully..." I said, Hopefully she'll be fine.
"Well I just wanted to stop by, I gotta get home to spike. Bye Scoots!" Twilight said walking out and closing the door.
"Bye Twilight!" I said and as the door closed I saw the photo, Framed and remastered. The photo of Celestia, Luna, and Stare Blare.
