Chapter 1: Apple Bloom's Cutie Mark

Apple Bloom's Cutie Mark

It was a beautiful day in Equestria, and everypony was outside enjoying the sunlight. It was the perfect day for the Cutie Mark Crusaders to be out searching for their Cutie Marks.

"C'mon y'all!" Apple Bloom called to her friends who trailed behind. The two fillies trotted up to either side of her. "Coming, coming." Scootaloo sighed. "So, what are we even doing?" Apple Bloom smiled happily at the two fillies. "We're-a goin' to the barn to set up fer the party tanight." Scootaloo tilted her head. "Party? What party?" Apple Bloom giggled and kept walking, leaving Scootaloo's question unanswered.

"Apple Bloom, what's on your flanks?" Sweetie Bell noticed a series of bandages on both of Apple Bloom's flanks. They had small, hardly noticeable dots of blood stained on the bandages.

Apple Bloom hesitated and smiled back. "Oh, uh, I got myself a Cutie Mark but I wanna keep it covered 'til the party ta show it off." Sweetie Bell wasn't all convinced that what Apple Bloom said was the truth, but she went with it and they all kept walking until they ran into Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon.

"Well look, if it isn't the blank flanks!" Diamond said. They both laughed at the fillies and Apple Bloom kept her smile. "Not fer me!" Apple Bloom perked up. The bullies exchanged a confused look. "What? You're lying! Either that or it's too lame for anypony to see." Diamond eyed the bandages covering Apple Bloom's flanks. "No-siree! I do have a Cutie Mark! I'm just waitin' 'til my party ta show it ta everypony. You are comin', right?" She beamed up at the pink pony, hoping she'd answer yes. Diamond raised an eyebrow. She motioned for Silver Spoon to huddle with her.

"I think it's a trick," Silver spoon said. "Or maybe it is really lame." Diamond agreed. "We should go and see how stupid her talent is." They sneered, before turning to the fillies and saying "Of course! After all, who would want to miss seeing your Cutie Mark?" she teased. Apple Bloom smiled. "Great! I'll see you there!" And the three continued on their trip to the barn.

Several hours passed and the duo made their way to Sweet Apple Acres to the barn. It was nearly nighttime, and the place seemed dead. Nopony was around except for Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. Diamond knocked at the barn door. "Hellloooo? Anypony there?" She scowled and rolled her eyes, turning to her partner. "Told you it was a trick," Silver Spoon said angrily. "Those dumb fillies made us come all the way up here for noth-" The barn door flew open and there stood a very happy Apple Bloom.

"Great! Ya made it! Come inside!" Diamond and Silver looked at each other and walked in the barn, the door creaking shut behind them. It was pitch black, and a bit spooky. "Ack! It's too dark!" Diamond said. Silver Spoon was confused though. "I though there was supposed to be a party. So where is everypony?"

At that moment, a dim light flickered on in the center of the barn. The two ponies walked to the center. "Where are you stupid fillies?" Diamond called. She turned to see she was alone, Silver Spoon wasn't anywhere. "Um, hello…?" This started to freak out Diamond.

Just then she felt a dizziness wash over her and collapsed to the ground, waking up minutes later. She had an ache on the back of her head and she was tied to a metal table. The only part of her body not tied down was her left hind leg. She could hear slight muffled whines and looked to her right to see Silver Spoon, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Bell hung up by their fore hooves and rags around each pony's mouth. They were clearly starting to die because each had several cut marks on themselves and blood poured from the cuts. "Wh-what's going on??" She squealed out. The three ponies were kicking and wiggling, attempting to free themselves of the ropes when Apple Bloom appeared.

"Apple Bloom! What's going on?" Diamond asked in a frightened tone. "I'm showin' you my new Cutie Mark!" Apple Bloom angled herself so that her flank was visible. It was still the same pale yellow, but it had a shiny red image carved into her skin. The image was a tiara, just like Diamond Tiara's Cutie Mark.

"That's not a Cutie Mark, blank flank!" She screamed. She thrashed and tried to escape the ropes holding her to the table. "Not yet it ain't." Apple Bloom grimaced and pulled out a small, thin silver knife about seven inches long and walked over to Diamond Tiara. She smiled and slowly inched the blade to Diamond's left flank. Diamond kicked the filly's hoof with her free leg and the blade went backwards and cut Apple Bloom's arm. Diamond watched as blood gushed from the wound she just gave her.

Apple Bloom frowned and took her hoof and placed it on the cut and lifted it up. The whole center of her hoof was covered in her blood. "Now ya gotta stop squirmin' or imma keep missin'!" This repeated a couple times, the knife flying out of Apple Bloom's hoof or somewhere near Diamond.

Finally, Apple Bloom pulled out a bigger, longer knife from under the table and jammed it into Diamond's ankle. The pony squealed in pain, tears streaming down her face. Apple Bloom rolled her eyes. “Shut yer mouth!” She then took the smaller knife and finally touched it to Diamond’s flank, carving carefully on the edges of Diamond’s Cutie Mark. Diamond was about ready to scream again, then thought what Apple Bloom might do to her.

The pony carefully carved out the tiara from Diamond’s flank and held up the piece of flesh, placing it in the carved out space on her own flank. She laid the Cutie Mark on her carved flank and fit right into the mark. "Well look at that! A perfect fit!" Apple Bloom cheered. Diamond was losing blood fast and her left leg had gone completely numb. Then Apple Bloom got the knife again and carved out Diamond's other Cutie Mark and put it on her flank. "Who's the blank flank now?" Apple Bloom mocked. The other three ponies were nearly dead, they weren't moving but their eyes kept darting back and forth across the barn. Apple Bloom started sewing small threads into her skin and the Cutie Mark so that it looked completely like her own.

"What ta do with ya now…" Apple Bloom said. Diamond did not want anymore torture after losing her Cutie Marks and losing massive amounts of blood from the knife in her foot. "I guess I'll just have ta wing it!" Apple Bloom then took the knife from Diamond's foot and cleaned the blood from it. Diamond cried and pleaded to the filly: "Please please please STOP!! Please!! I want to go home!! Just stop!!" Apple Bloom drowned out the cries for mercy and stepped up onto a stool and hovered above Diamond. She then aimed her knife for Diamond's stomach, when the pony yelped and Apple Bloom dropped the knife in Diamond's stomach, easily slicing the flesh and getting almost to the handle. Diamond held back a scream and nearly fainted when she watched blood and other liquids seep from her stomach.

"Now look watcha did!" Apple Bloom whined. She quickly withdrew the knife from the stomach, releasing more fluids, making a bloody waterfall off the table. Diamond was drifting away, feeling cold and numb. She would soon be dead and nopony would know about what happened to anypony here in the barn except Apple Bloom.

The filly was playing with the knife, making bloody designs with the knife on her stomach. When she finished making swirls in Diamond’s stomach, she started peeling away the skin from her flesh and it revealed a bloody mess of muscle and innards. Diamond’s heart started beating and was scared at the fact she could see all of her organs and her own beating heart. Apple Bloom smiled and started stabbing randomly at her innards, blood gushing and squirting here and there like a volcano of blood. Diamond couldn’t stand the stinging pains and blood flying all around, hitting her in the face, eye, mouth, everywhere.

"W…Why are you doing this to me…?" Diamond said softly. It was a rhetorical question, and they both knew it. Diamond felt the blood flowing through her veins and out of the wounds. When Apple Bloom cut part of her esophagus, blood gushed from her mouth and back into her opened stomach. "That was kinda cool!" Apple Bloom said to Diamond. Diamond knew that she was going to do it again. But this time, she vomited blood everywhere. Diamond started crying again.

Next, Apple Bloom gutted the pony, leaving her stomach, heart, and lungs. For more fun, she even ringed the body fluids from the organs and put them in Diamond's stomach. Diamond cried in pain and disgust.

Apple Bloom was almost done, the last thing she did was peel Diamond’s eye lids open so she could see the look in her eyes as she died. She cut off her eye lids and started sawing at the edges of her eye until it popped out and rolled onto the floor, and Diamond died. Apple Bloom continued cutting up the body though, taking out the the innards she had left and tossing then up, creating bloody rain. She took her friends corpses then, and started doing the same thing: tearing out the eyeballs, cutting their stomachs up, and taking both Sweetie Bell's horn and Scootaloo's wings and kept them as a souvenir.

Then, when she finally finished her psychotic kill streak, Apple Bloom collected the corpses of the four ponies and hiked to the Everfree forest, and dumped them there for them to rot, and she made her way home to sleep the rest of the night.

The next day, Apple Bloom woke up and showed her Cutie Mark to Apple Jack. "Wow, Apple Bloom! You gotchur Cutie Mark! What's your talent?" The filly smiled up at her sister. "Nuthin' special," she smiled. Apple Jack looked confused, but congratulated her sister and walked away. "But it'll do." Apple Bloom whispered to herself, and walked out of the house to enjoy the beautiful day.
