Knocking On My Door

The clock read 1:49 P.M.. I sighed and stared out the window. It was raining cats and dogs out there, but I didn't mind. The rain always made me feel better for some reason.

I got up and turned off the TV. I trudged my way to the my room. It was nothing fancy. Just a normal room. I pushed the door open and stared at my domain. Posters of The All-American Rejects and Coldplay covered my walls. I made a beeline towards the bathroom.

I entered the small facility and gazed into the mirror. The boy looking back at me was fit. Muscular with a cocky attitude to match. One might even consider him handsome. My eyes slowly drifted to my multi-colored hair. This was the result of my friend's prank. He had a bunch of hair dye so why not use it? I responded by immediately grabbing a bottle of pink hair dye and turning his hair into cotton candy. It was satisfying hearing his screams of terror.

I gazed at my facial features. Not much, a scar over my right eye is all that I could see. My eyes themselves were quite attractive. They were both magenta, which for some reason went really well with my cyan blue clothing and rainbow hair.

My hair made me look like a proud homosexual. But if I said I didn't like it, I'd be lying. I walked out, flipped the switch and closed the door. Deeming it closed. I climbed into bed, threw on my covers and stared at the ceiling. Not quite sure what to do.

I stared at the ceiling wondering what to do. I couldn't sleep yet which was surprising. It felt like a game. I had already completed the objectives, now all I had to do was wait for the cutscene.

I tried to sleep but I couldn't. I had this feeling that something was about to happen. Something important. I didn't know what, but I knew it was important.

I closed my eyes once more in a failed attempt to get some sleep when all of a sudden I heard the doorbell ring. I groaned and got out of bed. It was probably the local mail man Will coming to deliver the wrong mail again. Poor guy.

I walked to the door and placed a hand on the door knob. I swung it open and simply stood and stared at the figure before me. Guess who? Jason fucking Vorhees that's who.

I woke up. body covered in sweat, I stared at my limbs to make sure I wasn't the victim of the hockey mask wearing psycho path. After making sure all my body parts were intact. I breathed a sigh of relief.

      "Just a nightmare. Thank god."

Then the doorbell rang. I tensed and wondered if I should go out.

Better bring something with me. Just in case.

I reached under my bed and closed my hands around the hilt of a baseball bat. I made my way to the door. Before I opened it, I readied my weapon. My visitor kept ringing the doorbell and did not stop.

      Okay, ready. One, two, three.

I swung open the door and heard the sound of a surprised yelp before hearing the bat make contact with human skull. I heard a body go limp and crumble to the floor. I hadn't opened my eyes yet though, just to spare myself the fear.

After making sure my "attacker" was incapacitated, I opened my eyes and gloated.

"Eat that Vorhees! You ain't got nothing on this- uh oh."

I looked downwards to see that I had not, in fact struck a psychopath. Instead I had struck a girl and knocked her out. She was wearing a cyan blue hoodie with jeans. She kept her hood on but just from looking at her body I could tell she was female.

"Ohmygoosh ohmygoosh ohmygoosh ohmygoosh I'm so screwed."

I decided to help the poor girl by leaving her there.

I have such a warm heart.

As I paced my living room, unsure of what to do, the thought of the girl staying outside was just unbearable. I couldn't live with myself if I left her out there.

I stood there and a figure appeared on my shoulder. It was a mini-me. Except he had devil horns and a pitchfork.

"Go help the girl you idiot! You might get lucky."

"I dunno. Let's wait for the angel-me to show his opinion."

      "I am your angelic side."

Right on cue a fat devil version of me with fire for eyes appeared and stabbed my little buddy with his pitchfork and disappeared.

      "Guess I'm saving her then."

I opened the door once more and looked down to see that she had not been kidnapped while I was having a conversation with my "angelic" side. I crouched down low, scooped her up in my arms and carried her inside. I set her down in a chair and immediately started taping her wrist to the armrest. The same went for her legs.

Once I was done restraining her, I drew my attention to her face. I couldn't see it since it was covered by a shadow that was cast by her hood. I reached my hand out and pushed the hood back. Revealing rainbow hair just like mine and a pretty face.

Holy shit she is drop-dead gorgeous.

I gaped at her for a while before shaking out of my daze. I went to the kitchen and got a knife, just because she was pretty didn't mean she couldn't kill me. I went back to the living room to see that she was waking up.

She groaned and moved her head around. She hadn't opened her eyes yet. I reached out and gave her a light slap to the face. Her eyes fluttered open and I almost had a heart attack.

Her eyes were two magenta orbs. just like mine.

I calmed myself down and stood up. Knife in hand. She raised her head groggily.

      "Where am I?"

"I'll be the one asking questions here!" I snarled

She suddenly took notice of me and my blade. A defiant fire blazed in her eyes but she played along.

      "Tell me where your from."

"Well, it all started this afternoon......"

She rambled on and on about stuff. I didn't really pay much attention and pretty soon I was bored. I stabbed my blade in the table, the girl jumped in fright. I stared at her with a steely gaze.

"Oh I'm sorry. Did I break your concentration?"

She stared at me, eyes wide with shock.

"I didn't mean to do that. Please, continue."

She stared at me, not daring to say anything.

"What's the matter? Oh you were finished! Allow me to retort."

She watched as I pried the blade and played with it. Twirling it.

"I told you to tell me where you were from! Not about what you did this morning! NOW TELL ME WHAT COUNTRY YOU FROM?!"

      "What?!"

"What ain't no country I ever heard of! They speak English in What?!"

      "What?!"

"ENGLISH MOTHERFUCKER DO YOU SPEAK IT?!"

"Yes!" She replied, clearly filled with fear.

"Then you understand what I'm saying?!"

      "Yes!"

"Then tell me, what exactly am I saying?!"

      "What?!"

I grabbed the knife and held it in my hand, ready to stab.

"SAY WHAT AGAIN! I DARE YOU! I DOUBLE DARE YOU MOTHERFUCKER!"

She cowered and shook with fear. I let out a little laugh before cutting her hands free. She looked at me, face filled with shock as I cut her bonds free.

      "What's wrong with you?!"

I flashed her a smile before answering.

"Pulp Fiction. It was a great film."

She stared at me completely confused. I cut the last of her restraints and dropped the knife. She looked at me, her face still pale with fear.

"I'm just kidding. Name's Ryan. Yours?"

She rubbed her wrist, not daring to look me in the eyes.

      "Rainbow Dash."

Now, I ain't exactly the smartest of people, but I know for a fact that "Rainbow Dash" Is not a human name.

"Can I just call you Dash?"

"Only if you promise not to yell at me."

      "Deal."

She relaxed her muscles. She seemed less, tense I suppose.

"Listen, Since you were in the rain for so long I'm gonna need you to settle down for me to check your body temperature."

      "I'm fine. I don't need your help."

      "Okay then. Bye."

She watched me with her magenta eyes as I made my way to the kitchen. Before I did, I raised an eyebrow and looked at her.

"Don't you have a home to go back to?"

      "Yeah, about that......"

I sighed. I set my blade back down and went back to her.

      "So, your homeless?"

"I guess you could say that."

"Do you have any family or friends?"

      "Not here I don't."

I sighed and got up, I gestured for her to follow me. She got up from her chair and walked behind me. I led her into my room.  There was only a single bed there. It was large enough to support two people, but I didn't want to sleep with a girl. I climbed in bed and put my arms behind my head and stared at Dash. She simply stared back.

"I'm supposed to sleep with you? In this room? On the bed?"

I felt blood rush top my face. She herself was starting to blush.

"Well, you have two choices. Either you sleep on the floor or you can sleep with the best looking boy in the neighborhood."

She looked at me, disbelief in her eyes. She was going to say something until I got up and walked right up to her.

"Just kidding. You can have the room. The couch should be comfortable enough. Good night Dashie."

      "Dashie?"

"Yea. If your gonna start living with me I mine as well give you a pet name."

I slipped past her and exited the room. She simply watched as I walked to the couch and made myself comfortable. She eventually got in the room, shut the door and went to sleep. I stayed awake and wondered where this mysterious girl was from. Maybe she was african? She had a weird name and all. No, her skin tone said it all.

A million questions ran through my head. Who was she? Where did she come from? Did she have a boyfriend?

I shoved the questions aside and went to sleep. I'd ask Rainbow Dash in the morning.

Oh god I'm dead

Well guys, I asked you to be critical, and you did not fail me. I'd be lying if I said I didn't learn anything from your hateful comments. So guys, I think I've fixed everything in chapter 2. As always I will need you to prepare your verbal AK-47 in case you have to blast me with your bullets of criticism. Again.

I woke up, still lying on the couch. My back ached like shit I'll give you that. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, still not exactly a hundred percent awake. I gazed out the window and saw the golden rays of sunlight flood the living room. It was so peaceful.

Then I heard a loud *crash*. I turned to see my bedroom door obliterated. A very angry looking female was at the door. She was seething with rage. I gulped and looked for the nearest weapon. Nothing.

I watched as the rainbow haired girl approached me. Her fist balled. I raised my fist in defense as she pummeled me to death. I felt every blow she dealt. To say she hit hard would be an understatement. She absolutely destroyed me.

When she was done I put my hands down. Only to get punched right in the face by her fist. I felt a tooth or two go loose as her knuckles made contact with my jaw. She finally stopped her onslaught of punishment allowing me to breathe.

"What was that for you crazy bitch?!"

The anger in her eyes seemed to intensify. I raised my fist again and waited for her to open up another can of whoop-ass on me.

"Oh you know what you did!"

I stared at her for a while before remembering last night.

"Oh right. I played with the knife and knocked you out."

She stared at me in disbelief.

"YOU WERE THE ONE THAT KNOCKED ME OUT?!"

      Uh oh.

She raised her fist once again and proceeded to kick my candy ass. Damn she hit hard. When she was done using me as a punching bag, I was left with a black eye, bloody nose and my eyebrow was busted.

"I'm sorry! Jeez what's wrong with you?"

"What's wrong with me? WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?!"

Damn I need to keep my mouth shut.

She proceeded to give me a yelling so loud and scary that even Hitler and Osama would've cried for mommy. She ended her  lecture by kicking me. Again.

"Look, how about I make it up to you?"

"And how are you going to do that?"

      "I'll treat you breakfast."

      "Your treat?"

      "Uhhhh......"

      "Deal."

I got up from the couch and went to the bathroom to lick my wounds. I made sure to lock the door behind me so that she wouldn't be able to do further damage. I examined the destruction she had caused.

I had a bloody nose, black eye, couple of teeth missing, and I think some brain damage along with my rearranged face. I washed off the blood and tried my best to cover the mess. It was difficult, but not impossible. I didn't bother taking a bath. Instead I exchanged my cyan blue shirt for a black AC DC one I got at a concert.

I opened the door and went out. I saw Dash in the living room waiting for me. I motioned for her to follow and grabbed the keys of my car. I led her to the garage where I kept my car.

It wasn't really much. just a two door sedan. Nothing flashy. I unlocked the doors and got in. Rainbow followed. She got in the car and did not bother with the seatbelts. I didn't want to make her any angrier so I left her alone. I inserted the key into the starter and twisted. The car came to life, the AC turned on immediately followed by the radio. I opened the garage door and set out to the mall.

During our journey, Rainbow refused to look at me. She stared out her window, an angry look on her face.

      "Could you be any slower?"

I looked at her. She had a look on her face that said: "If you don't go any faster I'm going to toss you out the car and run you over with it."

I ignored her dirty looks and turned my attention to the backseat. I flipped it backwards revealing 4 large canisters. They had the word NOS labelled on the side.

I'm such a naughty boy.

I turned the knobs, I could hear the substance flow through the tubes. I glanced back at Rainbow. She was clearly unimpressed. in between me and Dash was a big red button. I reached my hand out and prepared to press.

"You want me to go fast?"

I pressed the button.

About an hour later......

Me and Dash reached the mall, it was already noon by now. She was even more annoyed after the whole thing with the nitro. What happened was I pressed the button and the engine overheated. Causing the car to stop right in the middle of the road. Embarrassing didn't even begin to cover it.

I called a tow truck to come pick it up and send it to the workshop. I left the car there hoping that the tow truck driver would be kind enough not to send it to the police.

We walked the rest of the trip, all the while with Dash yelling at me. When we reached the mall she had cooled down a bit. But she was still stewing. I led her to the restaurant and she finally managed to calm down.

"So, what's your name again?" Dash asked

       "Name's Ryan."

       "What's that supposed to mean?"

"It's a name. It's not supposed to mean anything."

"Wha'dya mean it's not supposed to mean anything?"

"It's not supposed to mean anything! It's just a name!"

       "Well, It's a weird name."

"Funny coming from the girl called Rainbow Dash."

She leaned forward and grabbed me by the shirt collar.

"One more word and I'm going to hit you so hard-"

       "Order?"

I turned my attention to the waitress who had just addressed us. She was holding a piece of paper in her hand and a pen in the other.

I shoved Rainbow Dash off me and answered.

"A cup of coffee for me and a stack of pancakes for the lady."

       "As you wish."

The waitress left the table, allowing Dash to further threaten me. I ignored her blackmails and scanned the surroundings. First there was the clothes store, going to have to go get her some new clothes. And then there was the bakery where I would have to buy tomorrow's breakfast.

Eventually the food came and we ate in silence. Dash seemed to have troubles with the utensils at first, then she managed to get the hang of it. I took this moment of opportunity to interrogate her.

      "So, where you from?"

She stared at me with a suspicious glance.

      "Why?"

"Oh, just wondering. The weird name and the fact that you don't know shit about everything."

She glared at me once more before answering.

"I don't think I should tell you yet."

"Okaaaaaaaaaaaay. Then are you an amnesiac seeing as how you seemed to have forgotten everything?"

She stopped devouring her pancakes and raised a knife. Something told me not to push her any further. I shrugged and finished my drink. Dash finished her meal shortly afterwards. I payed the bill and we left. She was about to turn to the exit when I yanked her by the shirt.

"Not so fast. You're going to need some new clothes."

I dragged her to the clothes store. There should've been enough to keep her busy.

"Go on. take anything you like. I'll pay."

She raised an eyebrow and explored the maze of fabric. I simply hung out by the entrance. Eventually I went to the counter where Rainbow had about 3 bags full of clothes. I almost had a heart attack. The price was $160 total.

After buying her clothes, I led Dash to the bakery. The smell of freshly baked pastries hit my nose long before we even entered the shop. I browsed around and ended up buying some waffles. I payed and together we left the shopping complex. I  managed to get a cab.

Me and Dash piled into the car. I gave the driver the address and soon we were on our way. She didn't talk to me the whole time we were in the cab. Meanwhile, I was browsing through her clothing which consisted of mostly rainbow striped socks.

We arrived at my home about half an hour later, it was already pretty dark. I payed the cab driver and he sped off. I think I saw him giving me the finger while he left.

I unlocked the door and entered my home with Dash right behind me. She had left me with the honors of carrying her clothes bags. I lifted the three plastic bags of clothing into my room. The door was still in a thousand pieces. Gonna have to fix that, but other than that she had left my man-cave in mint condition.

I dropped the bags and exited the room. Dash was in front of the TV staring at it. She was probably wondering what the heck it was. I took the remote and turned it on. Dash jumped in fright as the TV displayed various images. It was broadcasting something about greek mythology. I honestly couldn't give any less of a damn, but Dash was staring at it like it was a 14-caret diamond.

      "What is that?"

      "It's called a TV? Duh."

      "How does it work?"

"First it...... Honestly even I don't know how this thing works."

Suddenly she looked at me, a confused look on her face.

      "Don't you have a job?"

I looked back at her. She raised an eyebrow, expecting an answer. Instead, I laughed and laughed and laughed.

      "What's so funny?"

I motioned for her to follow me. I led her down to the basement where a huge metal door was waiting. I entered the PIN and the door unlocked. I swung the wall of steel aside revealing a huge safe stacked with cash. Dash simply stared at it, she couldn't believe her eyes.

"How'd you get all this money?"

"Well, if you answer my question, I'll answer yours."

I could see her brain working, deciding whether it was worth it or not. I waited for what seemed like half an hour before she responded.

      "Forget it."

She climbed her way back up the stairs and into the living room. I followed close behind. As soon as we breached the surface I checked my phone. it read 10:00 P.M. I sighed and shoved the small black device back into my pocket.

"You'd better go to sleep. I'll see what I can do about the door."

She rolled her eyes and made a beeline for my bedroom. I went to the store room where I kept an old door. It wasn't exactly  the best door in the world but it would do.

I grabbed the toolbox and made my way to the scene of crime. The shattered remains of my door still stayed on the floor. I ignored them and got to work on unscrewing the hinges. All the while Dash was on my bed watching me work. It didn't help that she would occasionally grab a snack or two from my nightstand and pelt me with them.

Eventually, after having a hurricane of peanuts and an empty water bottle thrown at me, I finished it. I observed my handiwork and swung the door open and shut to make sure it was okay. I packed up the toolbox and lugged it to the storage room with me.

      "Hey."

I turned around to see Dash on the bed. She had finally run out of ammo.

      "Yea?"

She looked at me with her tender magenta eyes, gosh they were distracting. I managed to keep my focus long enough for her to finish her sentence.

      "I still hate you."

      "Yea, kind of expected."

I shut the door and made my way to the store room to put the toolbox back. I put the container back where it belonged and shut the door. I heard a loud *Crash* come from the store room as soon as I closed the door. I didn't bother to open the door again. Instead I went to the living room where I sat down and watched some TV before eventually falling asleep.

Pancakes and Awkward Questions

I was sound asleep. Well, apparently a certain rainbow haired female didn't like it that way.

      *SPLASH*

My eyes fluttered open, the first thing I felt was the icy cold that inhabited my face. I brought my hand to my face and touched. It was wet.

      What the fuck?

I opened my eyes and saw a smug looking Rainbow Dash standing there. Water balloon in hand. She had a bucket load more by her feet.

"What do you want?" I groaned

      "I'm hungry."

"There's goddamn waffles in the kitchen."

I turned my back on the insane female and tried to go back to sleep. I felt a second water balloon make impact with my back. Opened my eyes and sat up. It didn't take an egghead to know I was pissed. I got up, stormed towards Rainbow and got in her face.

"WELL WOOPDE FUCKING DOO! YOU WOKE ME UP FOR FUCKING NOTHING! WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT?! THE GODDAMN WAFFLES ARE IN THE KITCHEN YOU DUMBFUCK! DON'T YOU SPEAK FUCKING ENGLISH?!"

Rainbow Dash stared at me. She looked downright scared, her face was pale, her eyes were watery and I could sense her throat was starting to go dry.

I sighed in frustration and collapsed on my couch. I buried my face in my arms and began to take deep breaths. I began counting down from ten. I managed to calm myself down.

"Go bathe first. I'll make us some pancakes."

She nodded and sped off for my bedroom. I remained seated on my couch. Not moving an inch. I remembered that I was awake and stood up. Not the slightest bit of happiness in me. I limped towards the kitchen. My legs were still sore after getting smashed to pieces by Dash.

I enter the kitchen and start making breakfast. I flip open the cabinets in search of some sort of cooking ingredients. I quickly gathered enough random ingredients to make our meal.

I heat up my pan and quickly stir up a small batter of pancake mix. Remembering the basic cooking skills my mum had taught me before I went on to be independent. I watch carefully as the bubbles rise to the top of the pancake and pop. I proceed to gently slide my spatula under and quickly flip it over. I decided not to try any fancy flips this morning since a burning house would be the last thing I needed.

Once it was done I scooped up the delicious little wonder and put it on a plate. Pouring more batter into the pan I was able to make a whole stack of pancakes in no time. I cut a lump of butter on the top and generously drenched it in syrup. I place the huge edible stack on the table and head off to cook another batch.

By the time I finish plating up my second batch of pancakes, I had nearly perfected the shape and timing for cooking them. I placed the two stacks on the table and headed to my bedroom to take a shower. I grabbed a black muscle shirt and a pair of jeans. I was about to enter the bathroom when I realized that Dash was still using it. Strange, no girl ever takes this long to shower.

"You okay in there?" I asked

"I'm fine. Now butt out! I don't need your help!" Dash yelled

I put my clothes on my bed and sat down. Taking a moment to finally replay what just happened. I hadn't been that mad since having my hair dyed. I grabbed a mirror and gazed into it. I saw a weak and feeble looking male staring back at me. He looked pretty darn wimpy. I stared at my multi-colored hair. It had to go.

I continued criticizing myself and eventually got bored. I looked at my alarm clock. It read 11:49 A.M., she had gotten in the shower around 10:30. Dash had been in the shower for almost an hour. I walked over and pounded on the door.

"Hurry up in there! You aren't the only one who needs to shower you know."

"I'll be out in no time! Just leave me alone!"

      "Dash what's going on?"

"Nothing! Now will you let me shower in peace?"

I sighed and sat back down on the bed. Shortly afterwards I heard her call my name.

      "Hey Ryan?"

      "Yea?"

      "What's this thing called "soap"?"

What the hell? What's wrong with this bitch?

"It's something you rub on your body to make it cleaner? Duh?"

      "I knew that!"

I rolled my eyes and continued lying around. I heard her again.

      "Um, I have another question."

      "What is it now?"

"There's these two things on my chest......"

      Lord save me.

After explaining the human body to Dash and how shampoo worked. She finally finished her shower. She seemed to be a little more subtle than usual. Not surprising considering she had just spent the last half an hour asking me about "The things on her chest".

I grabbed my clothes and went in the shower. I always hated taking showers, for some reason my hands would start to get itchy after maybe five to six minutes in water. I took a quick shower. Not even bothering to properly lather my body in soap. I stepped out the room three minutes later. Feeling slightly less shitty.

I dumped my dirty clothes into the laundry basket and went to the kitchen where Dash was devouring her stack of pancakes with gusto. I took a seat and watched her. It was kind of awkward, i had just yelled at her, she had just asked me about the you-know-what and here I was just watching her tear into my pancakes.

She finished up the last one and reached out to grab the second stack. I grabbed the plate and yanked it out of Dash's grasp. She gave me a glare. I responded with a snarl.

She had a look on her face that said: "Give me the pancakes and nobody gets hurt!". I was no different. We both glared at each other, our hunger fueling our quest for territorial dominance.

Rainbow lunged forwards and tried to get the pancakes. I pulled it out of the way just in time. She gave me a "I'll kill you" look.

      "C'mon! You already had yours!"

      "Just one more stack!"

"No way! I'm not gonna starve 'till lunch!"

      "You'll live fatso!"

She made one more wild charge forwards and failed miserably. I seated myself and picked up my utensils. I raised them high, ready to dig in.

I was about to eat when suddenly I felt a pair of eyes gaze upon me. I turned to my left to see Rainbow Dash giving the saddest and most adorable puppy eyes I had ever seen. I felt my heart melt and tear away knowing that I had deprived the poor girl of her pancakes.

I tried to ignore it but she was starting to really bother me. Those darn puppy eyes......

      "Fine."

I slid my breakfast to her and watched as she tore into them.

"Aggressive one moment, adorable the next."

Dash looked up from her pancakes and gave me a smile. I shook my head and got up, looking for my waffles. I located the soggy cardboard-tasting pieces of shit and proceeded to have a terrible breakfast.

I eventually finished the "waffles" and made my way to the TV. I turned it on and it flickered to life. It was tuned in to the History channel. I sat down to watch the Pawn Stars. It really was not helping that Dash was asking me questions that even I didn't know how to answer.

She eventually got bored and made her way back to my room. I sighed and continued watching. I was already feeling like shit. And it wasn't even 3 O'clock yet.

Why me? Why me of all people?

Flashback

Well guys, It's about to get a whole lot more insane. Not in a good way, this chapter will explain a lot, at the cost of being lame. I'm starting to run out of Ideas here. I read this chapter myself and couldn't help but face hoof. This is literally one of my lamest pieces of writing. Ever. Of all time.

I had fallen asleep again. Costly mistake.

      *SPLASH*

I sat up immediately. My face was wet from Dash's latest attack. She had a large grin on her face as I sat up, drenched in water. I contained my anger and calmed myself down before talking to Rainbow Dash.

"What is it now?" I said through clenched teeth.

"Nothing. I just felt like messing with you."

I groaned and slumped back into the couch, wondering what I was going to do. Eventually I made a mental to-do-list. I got up and stared at Dash.

"Listen, I'm gonna be gone for a while. Try not to burn the house down will you?"

"Can I drive a car through it?"

"No. You don't even know how to drive."

      "Can I wreck it?"

      "No."

      "I'm gonna wreck it!"

"If this house has even the slightest bit of damage your going to die."

Rainbow rolled her eyes and slumped into a recliner. She turned on the TV and started flipping through channels. I was genuinely surprised that she had learned how to use the TV controller so quickly. I grabbed my back-up car keys and headed to the garage. I pressed the unlock button and the car under the tarp was made accessible.

I headed over to the covered car and pulled the tarp off. Revealing a BMW. I hated it basically because I had all kinds of trouble with it. But I had no choice since my sedan was in the workshop. I remembered going next to the damn thing on the track. The sounds of revving engines and tires screeching came back in my head.

The car was a race car, technically I couldn't drive it on the streets but nobody really cared anymore. It belonged to...  a friend. I remembered seeing it everywhere. Now it was gone. Simply erased from everyone's memory. Maybe a few die hard racing fans would recognize it. I remembered the first time I went to an actual legal racing event, it was fun.

Snap out of it Ryan. That's back then, your living in the present.

I got in and buckled myself in. The BMW was unique, mainly because of the way it starts up. First I had to use my foot and step on the break and then the button nearby would light up and I would press it causing it to start up. But it would only work if the key was close enough. The second thing that made it unique was the various vinyls. It consisted of arrows, two huge letters, RC, were on the car doors. Sponsor decals and other various tid-bits were scattered throughout the car's paint job.

I started the monstrous engine and heard it rumble to life. I opened the garage door and drove the car out. Under normal circumstances I would never have bought a car like this. Instead, I had, how would you say? Won it. I would've sold it, but the car had a couple of illegal modifications to it. I'm afraid that if I sell it, the cops would arrest me.

I drove down the street, heading out of the residential area. The hair saloon was nearby, just a couple of minutes drive. I drove under the speed limit, not daring to break the rules. I didn't want to run into any trouble right now.

Eventually I reached the strip mall. I made a beeline for the hair saloon and entered it.

Some time later...

I exited the shop. My hair was now back to it's original shade of jet black, I decided that the rainbow hair simply looked to flamboyant for me. I entered my car and started it. Instantly One Direction came on.

"Great. It's One Erection." I groaned.

I opened my glove box and pulled out a CD. I slid it in the CD player and in a few seconds music came on. It brought back a shit load of memories. The feeling of adrenaline coursing through my veins, the sound of tires screeching, the engines rumbling, the sweet smell of tire smoke, the lights and cars blurring as I barreled down the tracks at breakneck speeds.

I shook off my daze and backed out of the parking space. I proceeded to drive towards the nearest mall. I needed to go get a new shelf for my store room since the toolbox broke it.

Eventually I reached the enormous building. I managed to find a parking space in the sea of cars. I parked my car and got out. I wanted it to be as quick as possible. Just in and out. No delays.

I got in and used the elevator. It was jam packed with people. Some were here to shop, some were business men. Not uncommon.

The elevator reached my floor and I stepped out. I made my was to the local hardware store. It was like a maze in there, but I managed to find what I needed. I approached the counter to make my payments.

The clerk was a skinny guy. He looked Asian-like. His hair was jet black and spunky. I put the shelf on the table and he scanned it.

"Is there any thing else I could help you with mister..." The clerk asked

"Call me Cooper. Ryan Cooper." I replied

The clerk went wide eyed and stared at me, stunned that I was right in front of him.

"No way! You're THE Ryan Cooper?"

I let out a small laugh. I smiled at him, glad to have met a fan.

"Yea. It's me. Ryan Cooper. Showdown King. Professional racer and all."

The clerk tried to talk but no words left his mouth.

"So, can I go now?" I asked

"Why aren't you at the tracks? You've been gone for the past four years!"

"I guess I just needed a break is all."

I grabbed my stuff and left. I didn't want to answer any more questions. My days as a racer were over. And I knew it. I headed back for the parking lot to leave. But unfortunately, that wasn't about to happen.

I headed to my car and saw a bunch of people surrounding my car.

You've got to be kidding me.

I approached the car and heard the crowd talk amongst themselves.

      "Isn't this Ray Krieger's car?"

"No way! Ryan Cooper won it off him at G-Effect remember?"

      "Hell yea he did!"

"I still think that race was rigged."

"Dude Ryan won fair and square."

I pushed through the crowd and approached the car. I was stopped midway by a huge buff guy. He had a tan and a 5 O'clock shadow. He wore sunglasses and a black muscle shirt.

"Who do you think you are? Touching the King's car?" The guys asked

Now, since I spent most of my career in a helmet, not many people know how I look like save for a couple of close friends and family members, so it was no surprise when this douche came out of nowhere and threatened me.

I pulled out my keys and pressed the unlock button. The BMW went *Chirp chirp* and the crowd gasped. The guy gulped and stared at me, disbelief in his eyes, I gave him a smug smile and turned my attention to the car.

I pulled the door open and got in the car. I started the engine, it was so loud the crowd had backed up as soon as it rumbled to life. I backed the car out and turned to the exit. I had already paid for parking, from here it was just a straight road out.

"Mind as well give these guys a little show."

I don't know what made me do it, maybe it was from penting up my need for speed to long. Maybe it was because I wanted to please the fans. I stepped the handbrake and floored the gas pedal, the car remained motion less, but I could here the tires screeching, the fans cheering and the engine revving. I eventually released the brake and the car lurched forwards leaving a cloud of smoke behind, it flew down the road straight out the exit.

I slowed the car down and decided not to pull of anything flashy again. I drove back home normally like any random civilian would, all the while my leg just twitching to floor the accelerator and send the car flying down the road.

I eventually arrived at my home. I opened the garage door and quickly drove the car in and parked it. I wanted to get out of it as fast as possible. I didn't need any more attention. I hope nobody saw me.

I flipped the garage's light switch and shut the door behind me. I was in the living room, it was dark and the clock read 9:00 P.M.. I wondered where on earth Rainbow Dash had went.

I made my way to my room and opened the door. Inside, Rainbow Dash was fast asleep. She had managed to kick the blanket off her. She was squirming around, I touched her forearm, it was almost freezing cold.

I took the blanket and pulled it over her again. I didn't need her to die from hypothermia, Though I knew it wasn't possible under such a mild cold, I decided that I was gonna be a bit nicer to her since she didn't blow the house to smithereens. Heck, I might even make her more pancakes tomorrow morning.

I made sure that she was fine and then proceeded to the store room. I opened the door and at my foot was a mess of broken wall pieces, a toolbox, tools, and the remains of the shelf. It truly was frustrating to see all the wreckage.

I sighed and shut the door. I honestly didn't feel like fixing it today. I instead made my way down to the basement. I stared at the wall of steel in front of me. It was the vault. I entered the PIN code and the door unlocked. I pulled it and it swung open. Inside was stacks of cash, all piled up high and in mint condition.

I stepped inside and looked around. All the cash had come from dominating race days like Battle Machines, Noise Bomb, and Super Promotion. Doing various racing events and whatnot.

I glanced around and found a black helmet. It had a couple of scratches but other than that it was completely fine. I picked it up and stared at my own reflection in the visor. I had won so many races with this thing, so much cash. This very helmet had been by my side the whole time. I didn't remember ever taking my helmet off in public during my career.

I wondered if I wanted to go back to racing again. Going all around the world, Tokyo, Nevada, all sorts of crazy places, racing various opponents and basically smoking the competition. I remembered everything, from the adrenaline rush I usually got from barreling down Nevada, to drifting through the tracks at Tokyo, then there was the Drag races where I would just floor it and feel my body literally slam into the back of my car as I made 6-second runs down the quarter mile, the G-force nearly tearing me apart as the car rocketed down the drag strip.

I put the helmet back down. I walked away from it and made my way back to the door of the enormous vault. I looked back at the mountains of cash. But the helmet kept grabbing my attention, just begging to be put on and used for just one more last time. I shook it off and closed the vault behind me. Thus ending my walk down memory lane.

Ignition

I slept early. Even though it was only 10:34 P.M. I went to sleep anyways. The couch for some reason felt funny. I decided to consult Rainbow Dash in the morning about that.

Speaking of the rainbow haired beauty, she had done a fairly good job in guarding the house. The only thing I have to complain about is the couch. Since the couch was "out of order" I had to find a new place to sleep. The recliner did a fine job though it was hard to fall asleep while sitting.

The next morning I woke up when I felt someone giving me light punches to the shoulder. I woke up and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. I turned around to see Rainbow standing next to the recliner giving me a warm smile which really concerned me. She never gave warm smiles, only sneer's, mischievous grins and smug looks.

"Why the sudden change in attitude?" I asked

"It's nothing. Just decided to be a bit nicer is all."

"You're tryin' butter me up just for some extra pancakes aren't you?"

      "Yea."

I popped my spine and cracked my knuckles. Then, I rose from my seat and stood up. I headed for the kitchen and heated up the pan. I put a slice of butter in it and watched as the butter melted and the pan was coated in the oily liquid. I made a batch of pancakes in no time.

I put the pancakes on the table where Rainbow Dash snatched them up and headed to the living room. I grabbed a glass, filled it with milk and followed her.

In the living room, Rainbow Dash had turned on the TV and was flipping through the channels. Eventually she stopped in the news channel.

"-and that's all for the biz part of the programme. Now let's move on to the sports section."

I took a sip of milk and watched as the reporter pulled out some papers from a stack of files. He held them and read.

"Just yesterday, racing legend Ryan Cooper was spotted at a mall after having disappeared for over three years."

I spat my milk out as it sprayed out all across the ground in front of me. Rainbow Dash's jaw dropped as the TV showcased a video of me unlocking the car, getting in and doing a burnout. The video must've been taken on someone's phone because the quality was horrible.

"The racer was spotted doing a burnout for his fans before he left in his signature BMW."

Rainbow Dash turned around and stared at me. Her eyes wide with disbelief and shock. I simply stood there and tried to remember how to breathe.

Then, Rainbow Dash stood up and walked towards me. She gave me a glare and got right up in my face.

"Since when were YOU a racer?"

"Um, uh, five years ago? 2007."

      "And what about now?"

      "I stopped already jeez."

      "I don't believe you."

I tensed. My hands balled up into fists. I always hated it when people didn't believe me. Every time they doubted me I had to personally prove them wrong. A simple picture wouldn't do.

"Oh, so you don't believe me huh? Well I'll show you. Just give me a few minutes and I'll show you."

Rainbow Dash gave me a smug look as I stormed off to get my laptop and look up the next event. I found out that the next G-Effect was nearby. Just a half hour drive to the race track. These events usually lasts for a week, so I didn't need to worry about it shutting down.

I shut down my laptop and headed for the basement. I unlocked the vault and stormed in. I made my way to the black helmet and picked it up. My own reflection stared back at me from the visor. It was heavily tinted so I could see the outside, but nobody could see inside.

I held it for a minute, the memories flooded back to me. Everything, the good the bad and the just plain ugly. I stared at the helmet before putting it on my head.

It felt weird at first but after a while it felt like I had never taken them off. I headed out and motioned for Rainbow to follow. I unlocked the BMW and stepped in the car. Rainbow Dash followed.

I buckled my seat belts, but Rainbow Dash didn't bother. I decided to let her do what she wanted for now, but at the track she had to put on the seat belt whether she liked it or not.

I started the car and the engine rumbled to life. I opened the garage door and drove out my home and headed for the race track. It was just a short drive away. I drove at a steady pace.

When we arrived, there were cars and people everywhere. I didn't know how Rainbow Dash would react to the loud music, the smell of burning rubber, the sweaty guys that wandered around and the rumbling engines. And maybe she would get offended by the scantily clad women.

I saw the opening where normal racers would normally go through. I was a VIP. I could go in and out through anywhere I wanted. I saw a race about to start and I decided that was the way to go. I sneaked around the back and waited As soon as the last guy lined up I floored it and charged straight into the line-up.

The crowds went absolutely nuts. I heard screams and cheers come from the fans as I roared down the track and made my way behind a Golf.

"IT'S HIM! IT"S HIM! AFTER THREE YEARS THE KING IS BACK!" I heard Roger Evans yell with excitement in his english accent

"You really made a name for yourself didn't you?" Rainbow Dash asked

I didn't answer. When I put on my helmet it was like I changed personalities. I instantly stopped talking unless absolutely necessary. I didn't show my face in public and I was calm, cool and collected in almost every situation you could throw at me.

      "Buckle up."

      "What? No way."

      "Don't say I didn't warn you."

I revved the engine while the starter girl held the flag. I prepared to put the pedal to the metal. Then, she waved the flag. I floored the accelerator and slammed into my seat as the BMW rocketed down the track, the first turn was a sharp one, but it was no problem for me.

I took one glance at Rainbow Dash. She was calm and collected, she even had the nerve to yawn. As we approached the turn I applied the e-brake for a second then stepped on the clutch and sent the car into a drift. The force was so sudden that Rainbow was thrown around the car.

When we reached the straight away, Rainbow Dash was hanging on for grim life, her face pale with fear. I let out a small chuckle and continued dominating the competition.

When we were done, I drove the car to the center, the fans gave me quite a lot of space. And so did the other cars. There was enough space, so I turned the wheel, floored the clutch and did a donut. When the smoke cleared up I opened the door and stepped out.

The fans were absolutely deafening. I couldn't hear myself think as I stepped out of the car and heard the fans roar in approval upon my return. I closed the door just as Rainbow Dash was stepping out. I put my arms by my side as if to say: "I'm baaaaaaaack!".

Even the announcer, Roger Evans was bouncing up and down in excitement.

"Cooper just dominated the competition! And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why he is the king."

I shrugged as the fans cheering started to die down and Roger Evans focused his attention on me.

      "So, Cooper, who's your girlfriend?"

Immediately all eyes were aimed at Rainbow Dash. She was sitting on the hood looking at her nails when suddenly she looked up and noticed everyone staring at her.

      "What?" She asked

I rubbed the back of neck and tried to find a response. She was definitely closer than a friend, but not a girlfriend. Some where in the middle.

"Well, not surprised that you've found yourself a girl. Now give it up for Ryan Cooper everybody!"

The fans applauded. I continued greeting the fans and taking one or two pictures. The next event was the 1/4 mile drag. Definitely didn't want to miss that.

I waited as one by one, the rookies made their way to the strip and lined up next to each other. Most of them clocked in at 15 seconds. The best so far was 12 seconds. I got in the BMW and made my way to the drag strip again.

"Now here we have Ryan Cooper this guy is an absolute maniac on the drag strip." Roger Evans commented

I lined up and started doing a burnout to heat up my tires and make them more grippy. Before I took off I turned to Rainbow and made an offer.

"Since this is the last race for today. how's about a little bet?" I asked

      "Like what?"

"I bet I can do this in ten-seconds flat."

      "No way."

"Yea I can. So, care to bet?"

      "What can I bet?"

"If you win, I'll make pancakes for you. Anytime any place any amount."

      "And if you win?"

"Then I get a kiss. Sound good?"

Rainbow Dash pondered for a while. Unsure if it was worth the risk.

      "Fine."

I bore a smug look on my face as the tree of lights went from red, yellow to green. As soon as the green flashed, I floored the accelerator and the car sped forwards.

About an hour later...

I opened the door and entered the house. A smug look on my face as I threw the car keys on the table and turned around to face Rainbow Dash. She had an annoyed look on her face.

      "I won."

      "That was rigged!"

"No it wasn't. Now, a bets a bet."

Rainbow Dash refused to face me.

"Come on, I thought you were supposed to be brave."

      "I am brave."

      "Then prove it."

Rainbow Dash turned around and faced me. Her face was crimson red as I continued watching her. She seemed to be avoiding eye-contact with me.

"Come on now Skittles we don't have all-"

Then, one of the most unexpected things of my life happened. Rainbow Dash put her hands on my neck, pulled me in and locked lips with me. I close my eyes as she pushed her tongue in and I allow her to. I tasted a hint of wild berries in her mouth and pushed further, enjoying the bliss of the moment.

Finally she pulled out and so did I. I didn't notice it but Rainbow had her arms wrapped around my neck. She gave me a cute look with those magenta eyes of hers.

      "Happy?" She asked

      "Uh huh."

She turned and headed for my room. Probably to go wash up. I simply stared into space trying to grasp what had just happened.

Yo earth to ding-dong WAKE UP!

I snapped out of my daze and slumped into the recliner. I shook my head in disbelief. I never imagined that the girl would do it. But she did. Here was a girl that threw water balloons at me, stole my pancakes, and beat the crap out of me for entertainment and there she was kissing me just a few minutes ago.

I love her so much.

Betcha I can!

I woke up the next morning. I had no trouble sleeping since I was exhausted after G-Effect. Today was going to be no different. I was going to drop by my buddy Otto's and look for something then I would go to Nitrocide.

I got up and headed to my room where Rainbow Dash was still peacefully asleep. I snuck in and grabbed my clothes. I dashed out and changed in the living room. I threw on a pair of jeans and a shirt that said: "Need 4 Speed".

I wasn't sure if Rainbow Dash wanted to go or not after yesterday. She was still sleeping and I had to leave. What to do, what to do? I decided to play it safe and shook her as lightly as I could.

      "Hey Dash, Dash, wake up."

Rainbow groaned and remained motionless.

"I'm going racing. You wanna come?"

Rainbow Dash managed to slowly rise up and look at me, her eyes told me that she was still kinda sleepy. I decided to continue shaking her until she finally woke up.

"So is that a yes or a no?"

"Sure. Just hang on a sec" Rainbow grumbled

I left the room and sat on the recliner in the living room. I heard her slip out of her clothing and into some other form of clothes. She stepped out of the room wearing a cyan blue hoodie and a pair of jeans. I grabbed the BMW's keys and headed out. Rainbow Dash followed closely behind.

I started the car and drove down the streets.

"So where we going today?" Rainbow Dash asked

"First, I gotta go to my friend, Otto's to go pick up something."

I knew the exact location of the junkyard. It was quite close and in a matter of minutes we arrived. In the middle of the sea of wreckage was a white house beside it was a garage. I approached the white building, I wasn't sure if my friend would be in, but I had to try.

I knocked on the door and in a matter of minutes he was at the door. He greeted me with his frizzy black mop of hair and his huge smile.

      "Ese, long time no see!"

We exchanged high-fives and bro-fist. He was a Hispanic but that didn't really get in the way, he could be all-out american if he wanted. After introducing him to Rainbow I got straight to the point.

"Listen, Otto. I'm going to Nitrocide today. You have any equipment I could get my hands on?"

I saw Otto perk up and his smile grew so large it probably hurt. He got up and willed me to follow.

"I've been waiting for this moment for so long! I got just the thing amigo."

He led me out the house and told me to wait in front of the garage. I headed out the house, Rainbow Dash in tow. Otto grabbed some car keys and headed for his garage. His garage wasn't anything fancy. It could house two cars and two cars only.

Suddenly the garage door opened. All I could see was darkness. No source of light came through. Suddenly, in the garage I saw four balls of light materialize in the darkness accompanied by the roar of an engine. It sounded so familiar.

Then, the car drove out of the darkness and into the sunlight. I almost couldn't believe my eyes. The car that had drove out was a matte black '65 GTO. Various vinyls and decals decorated the car. It was the the very same car I had wrecked 4 years ago. It was a Speed car meaning that It was meant to go fast but it had little to no control like the rest of the Speed cars.

I tried to breathe but I couldn't. The last time I saw it, it was nothing but a pile of scrap metal after a Speed Challenge gone wrong. I had escaped with only some cuts and bruises but the car was totaled.

      "Otto! Where'd you get this?"

"I found it in a junkyard. So I brought it back to my place and restored it."

I still couldn't believe my eyes. I reached for my wallet and started pulling out cash when Otto stopped me.

"Ese, this is your car. You don't have to pay me anything."

I thanked him and gave him a hug. He reached into his pockets and pulled out the car keys. He tossed them to me and I grabbed it. I was about to leave until I remembered something.

"Hey Otto, you still have that pickup and the trailer?"

An hour later...

Me and Rainbow Dash had arrived at Nitrocide, I had put on my helmet on the way there. Otto had followed behind me with his pickup and the BMW in the trailer. I decided to use the journey to Nitrocide to get reacquainted with my old GTO. It was much faster than the BMW but it had simply the worst handling ever.

I stepped out and was met by cheers so loud my windows rattled. I leaped onto the car and put my arms by my side and did a full turn to take in the scene. Waves of fans were chanting my name as I stood atop the car. Even the announcer, Big-Jay was behaving like a kid in Christmas morning.

"Check it out it's Ryan Cooper! And he brought his GTO back from the dead! This guy is like a demon in the Top Speed run. He just doesn't have any fear at all." Big-Jay said

I couldn't help but smile a little. It was true, Speed Challenges and Top Speed runs were scary as shit. The car would vibrate from all that power further enhanced by how much they would bounce around. If you hit even a rock you can kiss your car good bye.

I looked at the giant tron and realized that the next event was the Time Attack. It was gonna be a breeze. Here's how it works, they put four cars on the track and the racer with the best lap time wins.

It was simple but with four other drivers things could still get a little ugly. I unlocked the trailer and got in the BMW. The GTO was way too dangerous for a track like this. I drove the car towards the track while the fans continued cheering and applauding.

Each racer would have to wait for around 5 seconds after their opponent started before they could begin. This was to ensure that it didn't turn into a demolition derby right off the bat. I lined up last since I would eventually make my way ahead of the pack anyways.

Rainbow Dash had also joined me. As soon as she got in she buckled her seat belts and braced herself. I couldn't help but let out a laugh. I revved my engine and waited for the Chevelle in front of me to take off. After it did I waited for the five seconds then I took off. The fans cheered as I gunned it down the straightaway and sent the car drifting through the corner. This time Rainbow managed to save herself from getting beat up by the Laws of Physics. I floored the accelerator and sent the car straight again. The next couple of turns were so windy there was barely any straight tracks.

I sent the car drifting and passed the Chevelle leaving him in a cloud of smoke. I roared my way towards the Corvette. And in no time I had shot past him. After that, I practically dominated the whole race.

I took my place back in the center of all the other cars and stepped out. One of the managers came out of nowhere and gave me my prize money. A hefty $3,000. Not bad.

The next event was the Speed Challenge. Go as fast as you can and make it to the finish line in one piece to win. It was pretty straightforward except for the fact that our cars seemed to try and kill us. The track would send us barreling in between desert mountains. The one thing that made me nervous was the huge jump in the track. It woulkd force us to go downhill and up hill again. Definitely high enough to send us flying.

I calmed myself down and got in my GTO. Rainbow Dash was about to get in when I stopped her.

"Rainbow, this race is pretty dangerous. I think it's best if you sat this one out."

"If a wimp like you can do this then so can I!"

Rainbow ignored me and got in the car. She buckled her seat belt and flashed me a smile. I shook my head and drove towards the starting line and waited for the other racers. Suddenly Rainbow Dash spoke up.

"How's about a bet. Since this race is SO scary, I bet you that I won't be scared of this one bit."

      "What's the prize?"

"Loser has to give the winner a massage."

      "Fair enough."

I focused my attention towards the track in front of me. The starter girl was already holding a flag and waving it about. The racers were revving their engines, trying to get heard. I laughed and revved my engine once. It was so loud that everyone else instantly shut up.

"Woah, ho, ho, Ryan Cooper showing us a bit of power!" Big-Jay said

I watched as the starter girl held the flag high. I turned on the radio. My old CD was still inside and moments later music was blaring through the sound system.

I revved my engine once more to show off. The starter girl waved the flag and everybody took off. I floored the accelerator and slammed into my seat. Rainbow did the same, a look of shock on her face but otherwise she was fine. The car literally shook from all the raw power the engine had.

I shot past the first few racers easy peasy lemon squeesy. But the top three racers were a bit of a challenge. They knew how to draft, block and do all sorts of crazy racing tricks. But I passed them eventually. I continued the race like normal. If you could consider barreling down the road at 200 MPH normal.

The jump was approaching fast. I remembered Rainbow's bet. I turned around and turned the valves of the nitro tanks. I pressed the button on the steering wheel and felt the car go even faster. It rocketed up the hill and pretty soon I went airbourne. I felt my body go weightless as the car sailed through the air.

I looked to my right and saw Rainbow Dash putting her hands in the air while yelling: "WHEEEEEEEE!"

I felt the car crash into the road and I put the pedal to the metal and forged on. I still hadn't scared Rainbow Dash yet. In fact she seemed to be enjoying herself. I saw a pile of dirt up ahead and got an idea.

I turned the car towards the dirt and positioned it so that it's left wheels would hit the dirt. It was hard to see the little thing while I'm travelling at light speed. I hit it and felt the car raise up. It was now on two wheels. Rainbow Dash had an alarmed look on her face as she fell on the door, she was as pale as a ghost. I remained in my seat.

She looked out the window and saw the road, just an inch away from her face. If that glass broke she would've had free plastic surgery.

I put the car back on all fours and flew by the rest of the track. I finished it and stopped at the finish line. Triumphant. Then I noticed that I might've taken it to far.

I looked to my left and noticed Rainbow Dash sweating, her eyes looked like that of a cornered animals. Her breathing was heavy. She seemed to be covering her nether regions. I sniffed the air and smelled urine.

I looked at Rainbow Dash and raised an eyebrow. She proceeded to blush furiously while I tried not to burst out laughing.

      "Can we go home now?"

An hour later...

We had reached home. Rainbow Dash made a beeline for my room and she slammed the door shut, I was surprised that she hadn't opened up another can of whoop ass on me. She probably figured that if she did beat me up the rest of her days racing with me would always end with a nightmare. I collapsed on the floor and laughed, my sides exploding as the image of her after the race floated in my mind again and again.

After laughing I felt bad for like a second then continued laughing my ass off. I slumped into the recliner and proceeded to feel bad for her.

Eventually she stepped out of my bedroom in a new pair of jeans. She was about to walk over and give that massage she promised. But I decided against it.

"No, no it's okay. I should be the one giving you the massage if anything."

A smile materialized on her face as she leaped on to my lap. She was surprisingly light. She sat on my lap and I turned on the TV. By now it was evening so the only thing on was cheesy comedies and old blockbusters. I was lucky enough to find a re-run of "Limitless".

Rainbow Dash had fallen asleep somewhere around the halfway mark. I didn't notice this until after the movie when I could hear her snoring. She would inhale from the nose and exhale with a little puff from the mouth. I found it quite cute actually. I rested my head while a sleeping Dash leaned on me. Her head was on my shoulder. I rested my hands on her stomach and went to sleep.

Make Some Noise

When I woke up next morning. I couldn't believe it. Somehow, someway, Rainbow Dash managed to turn around in the middle of the night so that her... erm... chest region was right in my face. Not that I was complaining or anything.

I sat there and eventually I had to go to the bathroom. I put a hand on Dash's shoulder and shook her. Trying to get her up.

      "Dash, Dash, wake up."

I heard Rainbow Dash grumble. Obviously annoyed at me.

"Five more minutes..." I heard Rainbow Dash

"In five more minutes I think I'm gonna wet myself."

      "I don't mind."

      "Dashieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

Eventually I heard Rainbow groan and she got off me. She was still sitting on my lap but she had stopped leaning on me.

      "Do I have to?"

      "Yes. Um, actually no-"

      "Okey dokey."

Rainbow proceeded to then slump onto me. In a matter of minutes I heard her cute snoring again. I groaned and tried to wake her up but she ignored me.

I saw Rainbow's ear and proceeded to nibble on it. I could hear her give out soft moans as I nibbled on her right ear. I wasn't looking to chew them off, just give her a bit of pain and pleasure. I stopped long enough to try and wake her up again.

      "Give up?"

      "Never."

I then got bored of the ear and proceeded to give tender passionate kisses down her neck. I could hear Rainbow Dash purring as I continued kissing her. She responded by holding me at arms length and then giving me one big wet kiss on the lips.

The kiss lasted much longer than our first one, the both of us exchanged feelings of love mutually. I felt her tongue slither it's way into my mouth, I enjoyed the sentiment, and did the same. I could hear quiet moans escape her mouth, her body heat was radiating to me. Somehow the room just got very warm...

This has to be my best morning ever. Of all time.

Eventually we broke away from our kiss. Rainbow stared at me with her incredible magenta eyes. She bit her bottom lip and gave me one of the most seductive looks a girl could make.

"Why do you always have to look so sexy?" I asked

"I dunno. Guess it comes naturally."

I managed to lift her off me and into my arms. I set her down on the recliner and made my way towards the bedroom. I locked the door behind me and browsed my wardrobe. I picked out a black and green hoodie and put it on along side some jeans, I proceeded to go to the bathroom to do my business. I unlocked the door and went back to the living room. Dash was still lying on the recliner, asleep no less.

I was kinda ticked off by this. If Dash slept too late, then she'd probably stay up late too. I didn't need a rainbow haired girl keeping me awake for the rest of my days.

I sat on the armrest of the recliner and put my hand on her thigh. I proceeded to rub it up and down.

      "Daaaaaaaaaaaashieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee." I grumbled

      "Ryaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan." She grumbled in response

"What do I have to do to get you up?"

      "Maybe a nice massage?"

I rolled my eyes and instead left her alone.

"Fine then. looks like I'm going to have to go racing by myself since Rainbow Dash is too scared to ride with me again. Oh woe is me!"

Rainbow Dash immediately sits up and gives me a glare.

"What are you talking about? I ain't afraid of nothing!"

"Really? You seemed pretty afraid yesterday when you wet your panties."

      "I hate you."

      "Love you too Dashie."

I watched as she got up and trudged towards my room. She probably wasn't going to change. Just brush her teeth and whatnot. I grabbed the GTO's car keys and picked up my phone. I called Otto and in a matter of minutes he had arrived. I got in the GTO and drove out with Otto closely behind towing the BMW.

Today's event was Noise Bomb. It had originated from Japan and some of the Japanese were generous enough to allow us to set up a couple of events. It consisted mostly of drifting but sometimes drag races and speed challenges were included.

We arrived eventually. I looked up at the tron. Next up was drift. I unloaded the BMW and headed for the track. It was going to be simple, go fast, go sideways don't stop until you're over the finish line.

I went through it fairly quickly and scored 3,234 points coming in first. Second place went to Kaneko Hishima with a sad 1,455 points. Such a shame.

The next few events were the same. With me dominating the competition every time. Rainbow hadn't made any bets today. I guess she gave up.

Eventually evening had arrived. I had dominated most of the events like they were nothing and earned a nice $15,000. I drove back home with Otto following closely behind. Dash had decided to ask me some questions.

"When did you first start racing?"

      "I first started at 2007."

"Have you ever had a girlfriend?"

      "No, not really."

"Would you consider me your girlfriend?"

      "Um, I guess."

"Have you ever done "it" before?"

"Um, not sure if I should answer that."

Rainbow eventually gave up and pulled out what looked to be an iPhone. It was cyan blue with the logo of a cloud striking rainbow colored lightning bolt.

"Since when did you get a phone?"

"I had it when you first met me."

"How come I never noticed it?"

"Because I didn't want you to notice it? Duh?"

"Oh silly me, I forgot that I was talking to a girl."

      "Buck you."

That insult sounded kinda strange. She had replaced the F with a B. I didn't really care and soon we arrived at my home. Otto unloaded the BMW and sped off.

I entered the house and slumped into the recliner, Rainbow Dash followed and sat on my lap again. I turned the TV on and flipped through channels. Eventually I found a re-run of Paranormal Activity and decided to watch that.

I had watched it numerous times before so it didn't bother me. But Rainbow Dash jumped up whenever anything scary happened. It didn't exactly help that I had a hard-on.

Eventually the movie stopped and I turned off the TV. Rainbow Dash stood up and I stayed in the recliner. Ready to go to sleep. Until Rainbow Dash interrupted.

      "Um, Ryan?"

      "Yea?"

"Do you think... well you know, that you could sleep with me for the night?"

I shrugged and followed Rainbow Dash to the room. She got in and hopped in bed. She snuggled under the covers and faced the opposite direction. I got in and pulled the covers over me. Ready to sleep, but Rainbow didn't want to sleep yet.

      "Ryan, you awake?"

      "No."

      "Good. Just checking."

We then stayed there in complete silence. I tried to get some sleep but apparently Rainbow Dash didn't want to go to sleep yet.

      "Ryan, I'm cold."

      "Then take the blanket."

She promptly rips my half of the covers and piled it on her side. I now felt the bone chilling atmosphere of the cold. I've lost both my covers and the cosy body heat from Rainbow Dash. I start to feel my teeth chatter. And I could actually hear them.

      "Are you cold now Ryan?"

      "How'd you guess?"

      Enough of this debauchery.

I sat up and looked at Rainbow. She popped out of the covers to give me a mischievous grin.

"Rainbow I know what you're doing. Do you want to cuddle up or not?"

      "Yes please."

I sighed and shuffled my way back to Rainbow's side of the bed and remove half the covers off. She quickly wraps her hands around me and pulls me in closer. Our entire bodies are practically pressing against each other but I enjoyed the warm glow she was giving off. She presses her lips closer to mine and eventually I do the same. My lips touch hers and I immediately feel my head fill with warmth. This time I press further and push my tongue into her mouth. She tries to defend herself with her tongue but eventually loses.

By now I've also wrapped my hands around her waist and are stroking her soothingly. It was peaceful and nice. I placed a hand on her inner thigh and begin rubbing. I'd never done this before but the quiet moans were suggesting that she liked it. Eventually her quiet moans turn to muffled pants and slowly into her cute snores.

I eventually fell asleep with Rainbow Dash on top of me, ever so peaceful.

Departure Time

Play this song and read. I'm a sad genius! (BTW Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy was a great game.)

The next morning, I woke up with Rainbow Dash still sleeping on me. Her cute snoring was blowing on my chest. I put my right hand on her spunky rainbow hair and petted it. She didn't seem to feel it so I just continued.

The next few weeks were excellent. Me and Rainbow were officially in a relationship, she was just irresistible. I simply craved her slender, curvy body, her gorgeous rainbow hair, that beautiful voice, those incredibly seductive magenta eyes, her cute competitive attitude. All of these elements simply made me crazy for her.

I thought we were going to live the rest of our lives in complete harmony. With Rainbow in my arms and me completing my rise back to the throne in the racing scene. I thought everything was going to be fine, but I should've known better.

My mum once told me something. She used to tell me: "Rainbows here one minute and then their gone". What it meant was that good things only last for so long. I remembered her telling me that quote time and time again, and now that quote was about to be applied to my life.

It was a fine afternoon. It was raining but I didn't mind. I was planning on taking Rainbow Dash out to a great spot on a mountain nearby, at night we would get a great view of the city. I planned on taking Rainbow Dash there today but something changed all of that.

It was evening, me and Rainbow were in the room doing one of our... activities. She had rested her head on my chest while I was petting her hair. Eventually I heard the doorbell ring. I got up, got dressed and went to greet our visitor. It was probably Otto coming to give me more news about that '69 Charger I told him to look for.

I opened the door and found a tall slim middle aged woman standing on my porch. She had rainbow hair just like Dashie, but her's was flowing in slow motion like there was wind blowing into them. I felt no sign of wind however. Another thing was that Rainbow's hair was much more... well solid looking. This woman's hair was more translucent.

"Can I help you?" I asked

"Yes, I am in search of miss Rainbow Dash."

I wondered if I should've called the cops. This woman's icy cold stare was starting to freak me out. I stepped aside and let her in. She entered my home and took a seat on the couch (Which was still broken by the way). I took a seat on the recliner and waited.

"Dash! Someone's here to see you."

      "Coming!"

Rainbow Dash emerged from my room. She had put on her cyan blue hoodie and a pair of jeans. She didn't seem to notice the woman yet, instead she walked over and gave me a peck on the cheek.

      "What's up?"

I motioned my head towards the woman who was still sitting there with an annoyed look on her face. Dash panicked and kneeled.

      "Your majesty,"

      "At ease."

Rainbow Dash rose up and took her place sitting on the armrest of my recliner.

      "So, who are you?"

The woman glared at me for a second and answered

      "My name is Princess Celestia."

"Are you like, Dash's mom? 'Cause both of you have the rainbow hair and-"

      "No. We are not related."

      "So, where are you from?"

"I prefer not to talk about it."

"How did Dash get here, I mean she's not from here-"

"I shall not speak about it."

"So, down to business. Why are you here?"

"Simple. I am here to take Rainbow Dash back."

I could feel a sharp pain in my heart. My chest hurt as the woman continued staring at me as if nothing was wrong. I managed to retain my composure and avoided breaking down right in front of them. Rainbow Dash hung her head low. I gulped and stood up. I had decided not to ask Celestia any more questions.

"Sure thing. You wouldn't mind if we took a moment to say goodbye would you?"

      "I do not mind."

I turned my attention to Dashie. She was on the verge of tears by now. I stared into her glassy magenta eyes. Eyes that I probably wouldn't be seeing forever. I brushed a hand though her hair and stared her in the eyes.

"Looks like this is the end of our journey."

"Yep. Goo-" Rainbow Dash managed to croak out

I cut her off before she could finish.

      "Don't say goodbye. Please don't."

      "Why?"

"Because if you don't say goodbye, it means you haven't really left. You're just not here."

I could see Rainbow Dash stare at me with her watery magenta eyes. I embraced her one more last time and gave her one more last kiss, her tears streamed down my face. Celestia seemed to be shifting uncomfortably. I let go of Rainbow and she went to her side.

      "Farewell." Celestia said

Her hand glowed with light. She was about to cast a spell. Before she could, Dash interrupted.

      "Wait!"

Celestia stopped as Dash ran over to the kitchen, grabbed a pen a paper and wrote something. I saw her place her iPhone on the table and she ran back to Celestia's side.

      "I'm ready."

Celestia fired up her hand again and shot a beam of light, it made contact with the wall and soon there was a swirling portal on the wall. Celestia stepped through and Rainbow Dash followed. She turned around at the last second and blew me a kiss before stepping through the portal.

Soon the portal stopped and the house returned to it's once gloomy dark state. I was on the verge of tears. I went to my room and found out that all traces of Dash, the clothes and everything was gone. I let out a huge depressed sigh and walked back to the kitchen. I grabbed Rainbow's iPhone which by miracle was still there. And her note. I didn't read it yet. Instead I folded it and put it in my pocket.

I slumped into the recliner. Wondering what to do. I grabbed my car keys, I had planned to go to the top of the mountain and I sure as hell was going. Dash or no Dash.

I got the BMW's keys and made my way back to the garage. I entered my BMW and drove out the garage. I headed for the mountain. By now it was night, the raining hadn't stopped. I drove towards the mountain. I didn't really focus on anything. In a matter of seconds I found myself on the mountain top.

I stared at the city, shining ever so brightly. I turned on the radio and Coldplay's "Paradise" came on. I didn't exactly hear all the lyrics but two lines caught my attention.

In the night the stormy night, she closed her eyes.

That was when Rainbow first came. I had knocked her out and her eyes had been closed the whole time. And it was raining. Just like now.

In the night the stormy night, away she flies.

That sentence was obviously directed at me. Rainbow Dash had just left minutes ago. The pain was still fresh in my heart. The pitter patter of the rain against my windshield accompanied the music.

I grabbed Rainbow's note and iPhone out of my pocket. I read the note. Here's what it said:

Dear Ryan,

Looks like this is it. The end of our time together. I'm gonna miss you. A lot. Just don't forget me. Check the phone. I left you a farewell gift.

                                                                                                                                                              From, Rainbow Dash

I folded up the note again. I turned on the iPhone. It's lock screen was the classic bubbles, but when I unlocked it, the background changed to me kissing Rainbow.

I didn't remember her ever taking pictures of us together but her gallery told me otherwise. It was filled to the brim with photos of me and Dash. I felt a tear well up in my eye as I browsed through the picture. When I cam across the last one, it was me and Dash, on our last kiss. Her tears streaming down her face. I felt the tear in my eye stream down my cheek and land on the screen.

I locked the iPhone and put it on the passenger's seat. I then slumped in my chair and stared at the night sky as rain continued to pour down.

There was still a lot of things I didn't know about Dash. One of which was where she came from, I didn't know exactly what kind of a past she had. But what I did know was that she was never coming back. And that fact just came back again and again to just beat my emotions to a pulp.

"Thank you, Dash." I whispered as one more tear streamed down my face.

The End

Bonus Chapter

Things are gonna get a little wacky here. But hey I simply couldn't bear the thought of just leaving the story like that. With Ryan deprived of his Dashie, all alone in his home.

I slumped on my recliner. As always. I practically lived in the damn thing. I never got up other than to eat or go to the bathroom. I don't race anymore. Instead I spend most of my waking hours staring at the pictures of me and Rainbow Dash.

How long has it been since she left? Two to three years I guess. I never got over it. I couldn't stop myself from thinking about her. Everything from her slim body, her cute competitive attitude, her stunning magenta eyes, that beautiful rainbow hair, and that gorgeous voice.

Everytime it rained I would go out and stand there. Getting soaked by rainwater all just to see the rainbow that would appear afterwards. Everytime I did see a rainbow I would think about Rainbow Dash again, all the great times we shared. All gone now, nothing but painful memories.

I shook myself out of my daze. I went into the garage. Inside were three cars. One was a GTO. The other was my BMW. The third was something I had built.

It was a Nissan 240SX. I had removed it's engine and replaced it with the engine of a semi-truck's. I had removed any excess weight from the piece of machinery. It had a bunch of stuff attached to it. One of which was a actual Flux Capacitator. I had gotten it from the military for $200,000. It supposedly had the power to send anything through dimensions.

I stared at the monstrosity. It was ugly, but it was my one and only ticket out of here and back to Dashie. I walked over and ran my hand down the body of the car. For some reason it reminded me of back when Me and Dash used to cuddle up in bed, keeping each other warm.

I shut my eyes tight. I stormed back into the living room and grabbed my keys. I stomped back to the garage, unlocked the car and got in the monster. I started the engine. All that raw power rumbled under the hood. I drove out the garage.

I wasn't sure if this was going to work or not. I had a one in a million chance of getting this. But I was willing to do anything to get back to Dashie. Anything.

I revved the huge engine. It was fired up. I waited for a second and just floored it. The car sped off like a bullet out of a gun. I was slammed into the seat. The world slowly became a blur as I hit light speed. I saw a wall up ahead, but I didn't mind. I only stepped on the gas pedal harder.

The world was swirling, just becoming a blur as I switched dimensions. But that didn't help. The car was still going at around 300 MPH. I felt my body changing as I crossed dimensions. My fingers retracted from my hands, wings grew out from my back, my skin grew a smooth coat of black fur.

When I finally crossed dimensions, I instantly hit uneven roads. The car bumped around and eventually went airbourne. I heard the Flux Capacitatior blow up as the car sailed through the air. The car hit the ground and blew up but not before flinging me out.

I tumbled across the meadow, I stared at the sky. The light blue sky. I could feel some of my limbs burnt. I saw a cyan blue figure look at me. I tried to talk but ended up passing out.
