Prolouge : A Tale of Two Sisters

   Many years have passed since the elements of harmony combined for the first time in eons, to defeat the dark one, Nightmare Moon. Even more since that fateful day, the alicorns fought their final battle, on the steps of Corel. The only hope for their beautiful race lay with two fillies. They had fled from their world, travelling the stars for months, until at last, they set foot in a strange and chaotic world. Many a story was to be told, by the young creatures. They told of a world, like our own filled with glorious structures and cities, towering mountains and endless oceans. Technology we could only dream of. Remembered, were the stories. Told and then shared, throughout everyone. But one was forgotten. Not the words of the sisters, but of another. A mysterious and elusive figure. "There will come a time," said he. "When the false peace between two sisters will fall apart. When hate will smother the kind souls, who exist as few. When our colourful shell will crack open to reveal the darkness underneath. When sides must be taken in the coming war". "I say this as a warning," he continued, "and heed it not, you should fear the worst."

   Once upon a time, there lived two sisters who, through the darkest of days, stood together, until something, or someone, broke such a bond. This is their story.

**AUTHORS NOTE**

I Would like to mention some stuff about all future fics. First, all of them will be set in my own MLP universe. This means that it will disregard many canon points of Equestrian history. Also, seeing as they exist in the same universe, fics will often reference other fics of mine, and even include hidden spoilers about incomplete ones. See if you can spot any of them :D
