Just Another Day: The Sequel

"Because, I'm stuck babysitting the kids today. And the fact that I have nobody to help out." Jhon did that inhaling hiss like when you get burned. Today was going to suck balls, and I'm stuck in the middle of it. I went inside of the house, and guess what, I heard loud ass crying already.

"Drew! Good to see you, Dawn needs to be fed and you need to make Night take a nap." Rainbow rushed out the door, she looks like she was in a hurry. Luckily nothing really happens anymore for me since I killed all of them, lol.

"C'mon kiddos, time to get stuff done." I gave Dawn Star some vegetable nuggets and I let Night Storm ride on my back up to his room.

"Dad, can you tell me a story?" He was already really tired, and I think I heard Dawn Star burp. I smiled and started a random story, I don't even know how I came up with it.

"Once upon a time there was a-" He fell asleep already, wow. I went downstairs and saw Jhon playing with Dawn Star, they were playing with kid toys.

"Alright, Jhon, keep watch over Night Storm, I'm going to take Dawn Star to Aunt Twilight's to play." Yes, since they're my closest friends I make the little ones call my friends Uncle or Aunt, it's what my parents did when I was little. Dawn was riding on my back, and we were nearing Twilight's house. Once I went inside, Twilight was surprised to see me, and she was even more surprised when she saw Dawn riding on my back.

"She said she wanted to come see you. I think she wanted to show you something." I set her down on the floor, her horn then started to glow. She disappeared and then reappeared on Twilight's back, her first teleportation.

"She's a natural at this! She must have gotten it from you." Twilight was astonished, I chuckled because it was probably true. Jhon then burst into the library, he had the look of worry on his face, that was never good.

"Drew, Night Storm is gone." Holy shit Jhon! You had ONE job! Just one!

"Gone? What do you mean gone?"

"Somepony knocked me out and foalnapped Night Storm!" Alright, time to get down and dirty. Ha, I said 'dirty.'

"Alright, whoever did this couldn't have gone far." I said, I then rushed outside and saw pawprints, of course Diamond Dogs would do something like this. Spiteful bastards, always taking shit away from me, but this is the one time they took something very important from me. Twilight, Jhon, and I then made our way into the Diamond Dog fields. For this mission, since there were V.I.P. hostages, I had my MP5 at the ready, and 9mm ammo have a lower chance of penetrating walls.

"Hey you! Come back here with my child!" I was getting closer to the ones who took Night Storm. I then shot the dog in the back with my dead on accuracy, and he dropped Night Storm on the ground.

"Daddy, I'm scared." He buried his face into my chest, and I comforted him. The gunshot then alerted other dogs that were here, and they surrounded us.

"Twilight, hold Night Storm, I'm about to put in some work." I cocked Goldie. My eyes turned gold, and my hair changed color to black. I went towards the head of the three leaders of these mutts and I grabbed him by the scruff.

"Give me a reason why I shouldn't kill you right here, right now."

"You would be killing me right in front of your own son, you wouldn't want to traumatize him even further, do you?" My eyes and hair changed back to their original color, and I put him down. I shot him in the thigh, making the head leader squeal in pain. I then walked away, with Night Storm riding on Twilight, and Jhon following behind, none of the dogs got in our way, they made a path so we could leave peacefully.

Once we were back at Twilight's house, Night Storm and Dawn Star played in the living room, but we were all quiet. Until Twilight broke the silence with a scold aimed to me.

"You didn't have to shoot that dog Drew." She suggested, but I shook my head.

"Twilight, if you have children of your own. You'll find out why I shot him." My mood wasn't that harsh, but enough to get the message through.

"Besides, aren't you and Jhon getting married soon?" Both Twilight and Jhon nodded, I smirked.

"My parents support me all the way, they already know Jhon's a Pegasus anyways." She giggled, Jhon laughed as well. At least Twilight's happy, and so is Jhon, as long as they're happy I'm set as well. Rainbow and Pinkie then opened the door, Pinkie instantly started playing with the kids. I told her about the events of what happened earlier, and Rainbow's eyes went open just like that.

"Drew, you need to be a better fatherly figure." What? I'm doing the best I can commanding the special operations units and being a parent at the same time.

"Rainbow, y'know Drew has stuff to do just like you." Jhon intervened, Rainbow grunted.

"Drew, I think when you should be an Alicorn around the kids, so it won't be as weird when you pick them up from school, and it won't make Dawn and Night uncomfortable." She complained, I sighed and nodded. I can't really fight back because most of what she's saying is true, I've been hearing rumors that Dawn and Night are picked on at school.

"Alright, but I have an important mission to operate tomorrow, I can't take care of the kids." Tomorrow I'm patrolling the Griffon Border, and I've been hearing reports about a revolutionary war going on, so we have to be on our toes.

"Auntie Pinkie Pie can do it! They'll get along great with Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake!" Pinkie suggested, both Rainbow and I nodded, Pinkie jumped in the air, and stayed there for a moment, before literally bouncing off the walls. I then went back to the house, with Night Storm, Rainbow, Dawn Star, and Jhon. Tomorrow I hope nothing bad happens, because something always has to happen when I'm around. I'm starting to get the feeling that I'm cursed or something, or that I'm notorious between us and other factions.

"Well Rainbow, just so you know, no more kids." She nodded in agreement, and so did Jhon, he has to put up with enough already. I then did a little inventory in the armory, making sure that all of our checked out equipment is in good condition, and that we have no faulty wiring or anything like that. I cleaned the guns, and greased them, made sure our ODST armor is repaired, our ammunition is in good supply, ad other stuff as well.

"I can say that I'm prepared to take on a small country." I chuckled, I then made kits with the same amount of everything. I put them inside of our lockers and then headed up, and into the shower, before I went to bed. I then started to shave, I shave twice a day just so you know, but I constantly cut myself for some reason, I have very rough hair, probably from me being an Alicorn.

"I'm getting too old for this." I mumbled, and I then climbed into bed. Tomorrow I had to wake up early to get in some before mission training, in which I'll be waking up in, about three or four hours, close enough for me.

Chapter 1

Act 1-1

Saturday, 10:00 AM

The Griffon Revolutionary War

Drew and his team have been sent out into the Griffon Kingdom's border to do some patrolling, but Celestia specifically sent them there for a reason. There has been a war that started in the Griffon Kingdom, it was no longer an Empire, and now, it might not be a Kingdom for very long either.

"So, why are we taking this shitty assignment again?" Nick asked, I shrugged and kept walking over towards the outpost stationed there.

"I know Celestia, she doesn't send people anywhere without a good reason. This is something rather suspicious to me, to be honest." I replied. Royal Guards and Special Forces Operatives were scrambled all around the base, some in the mess hall, others training in the mud pits.

"Officers on deck!" One of them shouted, I then put my hands behind my back and walked through the path given to me.

"At ease soldier, what's the status report on the border?"

"Many refugees have been coming and going through the border. We suspect that these are victims of the revolutionary war in their Kingdom." He said, I nodded and kept walking. Nothing really happened while we were there, but when we were about to leave, that's when shit went crazy. I heard an explosion in the background and an order from a voice that sounded bird-like.

"Kill them all comrades!" Okay, I definitely heard a Russian Accent right there. I don't know how Celestia does it, but she always seems to send us towards the action.

"Helena, go to that watch tower and provide overwatch. Nick, go to the barracks and gather the rest of the soldiers, Kaptn, Jhon, follow me." I gave the order, there were Griffons everywhere, I don't even know who's on our side, but they seem to be fighting each other as well as us. There seems to be four factions among us, the Royal Guard, the Delta Force, the Griffon Imperialists, and the Griffon Rebels. We didn't know which side to choose, but they were attacking fairly close to our base. I then took a nearby megaphone and tried to calm things down.

"Mister Leaders of the Griffon factions! I need you to take this fight somewhere else! You are fighting on Equestrian lands!" Was all I said, they both gave an order, but not the one you would expect.

"Kill the ponies!" Both factions ordered, and a suicide drone then crashed into the barracks. A lot can happen in three years, including even more advanced technology. We then put down suppressing fire for some of the refugees and civilians to evacuate in cargo trucks.

"There's too many of them!" Helena said over comms, I then nodded and pulled out my favorite plastic explosives, C-5. The upgraded version of C-4, but it has been modified by magic to make it smaller, more compact, packing a bigger punch even for it's small size. I attached it to a Hunter Killer Drone and I sent it on it's way, I then heard a pretty decent explosion about half a click away.

"Let's go ladies, we're on the clock!" I said, and I then made my way to the armory. I didn't know how technologically advanced these guys were, perhaps even more advanced than ours, I guess maybe that was an exaggeration. I then looked around the vault, with explosions coming from outside and Kaptn reported in a little situation.

"Uhh, Drew, we have a little problem. Griffons have breached the outer walls." Oh for fuck's sake! I then grabbed a SCAR-H off the wall and headed out, I also had in my backpack something special. Helena on the other side of the outpost had a little problem of her own, just great.

"Drew! We got reinforcements coming in! I don't think we can hold the fort for any longer than we already have!" Well, fuck, me. I then tossed her a little welcoming gift meant for the Griffons, her eyes widened and she instantly turned it on.

"MQ-27 Dragonfire ready for deployment." An announcer said, I chuckled and headed out to support the breach in the outer walls. I then controlled the turret mounted near the wall, and held off anybody who dare tried to enter, except for the retreating soldiers defending the trench stationed outside of the outer wall.

"Okay, I think they've evacuated the civilians, we need to pull out soon!" Jhon said, I nodded in agreement, these Griffons are taking out our guys faster than we can get reinforcements. A giant fucking javelin spear pierced my shoulder, and it hurt like fuck too. I pulled it out and I put pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding, I then ordered a retreat.

"Guys! This outpost is a lost cause! We need to get out of here!" Most of them loaded onto the cargo trucks, and my team were the last to go. But before we could even start the car, we got blown up by an RPG, they Griffon Imperialists then made a crowd around us, my vision was blurring and fading out, so I couldn't see properly. I think I was close to death, because I could hear my own heart beat, and the fact that I got shot by that giant spear again after I got inside the truck.

"Don't worry about dying, Equestrian, we have plans for you and your team." I could barely make out what he was saying, I was still recovering from Shell Shock. I could see on my HUD that everyone else on my team were okay, but unconscious, I guess after avoiding death for so long it's finally getting to me, I'm bleeding out pretty badly. One of the Griffons injected me with some sort of health item, it made my condition better, and most of the bleeding stopped, but the wounds were still there and it still hurt like fuck. I then faded out into darkness, combat fatigue taking over my senses, and I was out like a light, just like that. I could hear something through the darkness, somepony speaking about something.

"Yes, we have plans for these creatures. This one alone managed to take out Alpha Squad alone, the others are no exception. Each one of them seem to specialize in a certain field of combat. The lady over there is a good sniper, this one is good with handguns and equipment, that one is good at assault rifles, this one is good at close quarters combat, this one hand-to-hand, and this one is heavy equipment." I'm pretty sure which one was which, but I was still waking up, only to be knocked out again by the butt of a gun.

"Drew, wake up! We gotta go!" Helena tried to get me up, and I was starting to come back to my senses. I then got up steadily and looked around.

"We're wearing patient gowns? Helena what's going on here?" I asked, I looked pretty good in a patient gown though. Most of my equipment was gone, except for my concealed M1911 and Rusty, my knife, you don't want to know where I hid them. My shoulder had a giant patch with blood stains on it, but other than that I felt fine, no sores or anything.

"What do you mean they're gone?" Rainbow raised her voice at one of the surviving commanding officers.

"Their truck got blown up, and I think they were either captured or killed. All we can do now is hope for the best." Celestia comforted Rainbow, and Rainbow was very stunned at the news. She then grabbed her gun and put on her body armor, Twilight was very worried for Rainbow.

"Rainbow, where are you going?"

"I'm going after my stupid husband. What does it look like I'm doing?" She replied, she always wanted to go fight in a battle, but Drew would never let her. This was her chance to show him that she could handle herself.

"Rainbow, before you go, Drew said that if you ever needed it, to give you this." Celestia gave Rainbow a white container, and it was Drew's favorite.

"Awesome, my own box of Tic-Tacs!" She said, she then flew towards the direction of the Griffon Country with a few soldiers following her.

"Again, why are we in Hospital Gowns?" I asked, these gowns I have to admit were pretty comfortable. Helena was walking in front of me but out of respect for her I kept my eyes straight forward. I could see Nick behind me looking straight down, he looked a little bit like this.

"Like I said for the forty millionth time, I don't know. I'm just following orders." A grunt said, my guess is that the Imperials won the battle back at the border, but I still don't know if we should side with one of them, because I don't know their leaders as of right now. We then entered a meeting room, inside of the hospital, interesting, but a bit weird if you ask me.

"Welcome, Delta Team. I've been expecting you, my name is General Talon Beak." This is going to be interesting, I grabbed my now in pain shoulder and sat down, hopefully waiting to make a daring escape, eventually.

"Who is this Delta Team you speak of? That team you speak of does not exist." I was specifically told to deny anything that has to do with the Delta Force by the princess, too much is getting out into the public.

Chapter 2

Act 1-2

Delta Team 1
One Week Later, 9:00 PM

"So, you are or you aren't in the Delta Force?" He asked, I sighed and replied.

"I don't know what you're talking about. Look, I'm just assigned to this team in the Royal Guard. We were sent to patrol the area, but got caught up in the middle of your fight." I said for the hundredth time. I took a sip of this delicious coffee, it's the best one I've had for a while. The team and I had perfect poker faces, not even one smirk were on their faces.

"Alright, guards. Kill them all." Oh for fuck's sake! I put the General in a headlock and put the gun to his head.

"Nobody move! Or this guy gets it!" They all put their guns down on the ground, and I headed towards the locker room with my team very close behind me. I threw the General towards the guards that were following and I closed the iron doors that lead to the shower/locker room.

"Alright, we probably got one or two units out there, grab your gear and get ready." I opened the locker containing my shit, I grabbed Goldie, put on my body armor, and took my wallet. I had a family picture in my wallet, the one from Earth, and the one from here, I looked at it for a second and stuffed it into my pocket. I then heard gunshot noises coming from outside and I looked through the window, it was Rainbow and her team! I kicked the door open and shot the two guards waiting for us, the were distracted by the fighting from the other end of the hallway. Rainbow and I were talking over the radio, but it was the type of talk when you were recently released from captivity.

"Where have you been?" Rainbow asked, I chuckled.

"Well, I've been doing shit here and there, fucking stuff up everywhere. Oh, and we got foalnapped, but no harm done there." I was being sarcastic, she had that, 'I'm going to fucking kill you when we get home,' laugh as a response. I dodged a bullet coming straight at me, and shot the one who shot the incoming bullet.

"Well, it's good to see that you're not dead." She said, bullets flying past her in the background.

"Likewise, I'm coming in from your right, don't shoot." I then saw Rainbow, in all that agent getup. She kissed my cheek and we headed out of here.

"Wait, Commander." I turned around to see the General, still alive and well.

"You've forgotten your parting gift." He pulled out a detonator, and started a countdown sequence. I looked for the nearest exit, but we were on the 5th story. I looked out a nearby window, it looked safe enough to jump, but everypony else looked at me like I was crazy.

"Look, it's either jump, or get blown the fuck up, your choice." I said, I then put Rainbow on my back piggyback style and I used my shoulder to bash the window and broke it. Rainbow flew up, but dropped me, and I was still falling, and I fell into a hay bale. The farmer there looked at me like he's seen a ghost, well, I would too if a strange creature landed in the middle of his farm. The hospital on top of the hill was then enveloped in a gulf of flames, it was so hot I could feel heat radiation all the way down here.

"Hey, how's it goin?" I then went towards the rendezvous point, which was the nearby Cathedral. Rainbow's team and my team were talking, making introductions and shit.

"Hey hun' can we go home now? Because I'm fucking tired." I then called Celestia, because I wanted answers, and she was going to give them to me.

"Drew, I know you're mad but listen to me. I sent you because I knew you would get the job done, and you have." What the fuck? What job did I get done?

"What job? I thought it was just to patrol and defend the outpost?" My brain was still processing.

"Now that the General is dead, the rebels can win the war. They plan to make peace with the Equestrians and turn their government into a Democracy, and give back any land taken from us during the Imperialists' term." Well, that's one question answered, but left many in its place. I then hung up and got into an assigned cargo truck meant for specifically us.

"Time to go home guys, finally."

"Yeah, what did those guys do to you for a whole week?" Rainbow asked, I shivered and sat down on the truck.

"You don't want to know." She shook her head.

"Wuss..."

"Do you really want to know?" She nodded.

"They force fed me meat, specifically. I don't know what they did to the others though. Luckily I spat it out when they weren't looking." Rainbow cringed.

"Well, they tried to get me to talk by making me listening to bad singing." Nick shivered, Helena was like, 'Bitch Please.'

"Well, they made me chug tea for a whole week. I don't think I'll be able to drink another cup of Earl Grey for a while." Kaptn and Jhon felt too uncomfortable to talk about what happened to them. We made it back to the castle, and I heard some music come on out of nowhere, I laughed because it was our theme music.
(Music)

We were walking in slow motion towards the throne room, I was looking from side to side in slow motion, making it look as dramatic as hell. I think Night Storm and Dawn Star thought it was a game, so they copied me, I had to admit they looked almost as badass as me. If they decide to follow in my footsteps I'm for it, but I'm not so sure about letting them in the field.

"Well, that was random." Luna giggled, I chuckled and sat down in front of the two Alicorn sisters, on the floor. We then got debriefed by Celestia herself, mission accomplished, but I don't know why she talks in riddle sometimes, it's just confusing to me. I then stood up, but then my vision started to blur, and the next thing you know my legs gave out from under me, and the rest of my team were having the same issue, I think they were messing with our minds back at the hospital, this is nothing we've ever encountered before, this is the first time it's happened to us.

"Drew? Nick? Helena? What's wrong? Can you answer me?" Celestia then went over to check the unconscious bodies on her floor.

"They're out cold." She then teleported the humans into the Canterlot Hospital, where they would be treated for whatever they have contracted. Rainbow then started to pace back and forth, with her children playing with Cadence while they wait.

"You think they'll be okay Princess?" Rainbow seemed truly worried this time around.

"You should know them pretty well Rainbow, they don't die easily. They'll pull through soon enough, even if we have to get them out of their subconscious by other means."

Chapter 3

Act 1-3

Princess Luna, Princess Celestia, Rainbow Dash
Monday, 1:00 PM

"They're still asleep, are you sure they'll even wake up?" Rainbow's worry had been increasing since their coma. It was the Monday of next week, and the team was still asleep.

"There's something going on in their subconscious, we need to find out what's happening in there." Princess Celestia said, Luna hasn't been talking the whole time, she was deep in thought.

"Sister? Is something wrong?" Luna's train of thought? Derailed. She then snapped out of her transe.

"I may have a way to get them out of their sleep." She said, Celestia's eyes widened.

"That's right! You can go into another one's dreams!" Rainbow's mood brightened, but Luna didn't seem so fond of the idea. Rainbow's mood then returned to original state, and Luna sighed.

"The thing is, I don't know what could be going through their mind. It could get both me and the host killed, like brain dead." She said, Celestia put her hoof on Luna's shoulder, and Luna closed her eyes.

"It's up to you sister, you don't have to do this." Luna then stood up, and walked over to Drew.

"If I get Drew out first, he can help me with the others. He's more capable of bringing his friends back than me, since he knows them better." Luna touched her horn to Drew's forehead, and her body fell to the ground.

Drew's Mind

"Hello? Anypony here?" Luna looked around the dark room, it was really dark so she couldn't see anything. She then saw shadows move across the wall, and moaning from the corridor. Luna was then grabbed from behind, and a hand covered her mouth.

"Shh, it's okay. It's me." Drew's voice comforted her, and she calmed down a little bit. Luna then bitch slapped Drew, which main him wince in pain for a little bit.

"What's wrong with you?" She whispered, Drew's eyed widened.

"What's wong with me? I'm living in my own nightmare! And I just saved your life!" He whisper yelled. Drew then grabbed Luna and picked her up. She was getting a piggyback ride from Drew, and she didn't like it one bit.

"Can you tell me what's going on?"

"We're in the town of Tall Oaks, a zombie outbreak has occurred and there's a nuke about to blow up the place in about an hour." Drew then made his way to the next building, shutting the blinds and locking the door.

"Look, I don't know how to get out. I've just been dying and dying over again, either getting blown up by that nuke or getting eaten by zombies. That's what I've been doing this whole week, and I know this isn't real, because you're here." Drew looked out the window, the streets were empty for now.

"I think you're gonna have to find the main characters and follow them until the chapter is completed. That's what happened in Resident Ponyville 6." Drew facepalmed.

"Why didn't I think of that? Well, the gun store Leon and Helena are holding up is about five minutes away."

"Look! Another survivor! Let him in!" I could hear Helena's voice through the gun shack, I quickly made it in, with Luna in like a ghost form since this isn't really her dream. Nopony but me could see her, I don't want them to think I'm crazy or something talking to an Alicorn.

"Thanks, I don't know how much longer I would've made it out there."

"You don't look like a civilian, just who are you?" Leon questioned. Drew had to think of something, he couldn't address his rank, but he could use his old one.

"Lieutenant Andrew Goulding, I got separated from my squad in this mess. I've been surviving alone ever since." He replied, Leon acknowledged and continued defending against the zombies trying to get through the barred windows. Drew helped him out until he got to the bus, where the chapter was completed. Drew woke up from his week long coma, and was glad to be that way.

"Okay, I'll take Helena and Jhon, Luna, you take Kaptn and Nick." Drew had to sit down for a second. Why did this happen in the first place? He guessed that Celestia had found out while they were asleep.

"Okay, can you tell me why this happened?"

"The Imperialists must've done something to your mind. You may have chronic headaches for a couple of days. I think they attempted to brainwash you, and then make you do something. Perhaps kill a V.I.P.?" Drew then got down to business, Luna had already taken a head start with Nick and Kaptn. Drew was only beginning, and he just learned the spell Luna taught him just now.

Jhon's Mind

"What the fuck?" I seemed to be on Titan Station, and I saw Jhon in his Advanced Suit, killing Necromorphs. Along with him was Isaac Clarke, one of the most badass characters known to mankind, he is one of my role models. I went over to try and talk to Jhon, and he seemed surprised to see me.

"Drew! Good to see you're okay, but how the hell did you get here?" He asked, Isaac was in the background, waiting for us to finish. I looked over to him a couple of times, and he waved at me awkwardly.

"Look, you need to finish the chapter and go to the nearest save station. That's how you get out of here, and it's the only way I can get out of here." Jhon nodded, I turned into apparition form and gave Jhon morale support. Isaac on the other hand was handling his own, occasionally having to save Jhon's ass. These Necromorphs are brutal, they won't stop until they turn everyone into one of them, and the only ones who stand in their way once Jhon is gone is Isaac, and his companions.

Jhon finished the chapter, he managed to survive, but only barely, his RIG was at a red and we both woke up. Jhon woke up in his Advanced Suit, his RIG health was still at red and he was fading out quickly. The doctors took him to the Operating room and I went on to Helena, who was still asleep, I wonder what her nightmare would be. I took a rest for a little bit because the spell that I have to perform is very hard to pull off, but my magic ability is just a bit lower than the princesses themselves. Only because I don't use magic enough that I should on a normal Alicorn basis, practice makes perfect I guess.

Helena's Mind

I landed in what seems to be London, England. I looked around, but this seemes to be more of a past memory than a worst nightmare. I looked around for Helena, but I couldn't find her, until a little girl pulled on my pant leg.

"Excuse me Mister? Have you seen my daddy?" My god, it was Helena, and she looks like she was about six years old. Since this wasn't based on a video game nightmare I don't know how to solve this problem on my own, I was never informed of how to deal with a past event to wake up the host. I walked the streets of London until I heard fighting in the alley, a man holding his own against about five or six thugs were in the back alley. Helena pointed towards the one holding his own, and I identified him as her father.

"Alright Helena, I need you to go into that restaurant and go buy yourself a muffin and some juice. I'll go help your daddy." I gave her a gold bit, which was pretty much a gold coin. The thing is that gold doesn't come easy in the 22nd Century, and that gold bit is probably worth a fortune. By the time I turned around, it was too late, the guy was bleeding out on the floor, I guess this is what happened to her at the age of six. I walked over towards the thugs who were looting Helena's Dad's body.

"I don't appreciate looting, especially from the innocent and harmless." They all puffed out their chests, I bet could take them all.

"And who might you be?" The gang leader asked, I chuckled and crossed my arms.

"The one who is about to wipe your sorry ass gang off of the street corner." The second I finished they charged head on at me, they slammed me to the ground, but I got back up giving an uppercut to one of the thugs. A headache started kicking in the second I delivered a right hook towards the leader.

"They all must die... all of them..." What did the Griffons do to me? Who must die? I was on the ground, getting myself kicked to death.

"Not so tough now are ya?" I then grabbed him by the neck, I guess this I was in my stage 2 mode because my eye and hair color were different. I threw the guy I had in hand against the wall, and he coughed up blood. The others were a bunch of wusses, once their leader was either dead or knocked out, they fled. My hair color changed back and I went over to the wounded man, his temperature was cold, he's dead. I saw Helena over at the alleyway entrance, her eyes were watery, and she dropped her juice box on the ground, she made her way over to her now deceased Dad.

"Daddy? Please wake up, dad?" I used a nearby payphone that is so early 21st Century and phoned the police. I didn't talk to them, but I left the phone hanging by its cord. Helena and I then woke up with a hard gasp, my head was still hurting from earlier.

"I-I'm alright, I just... need to lie down for a second." I made my way to the couch, I think the stasis chambers fucked me over. Rainbow nudged me and gave me a Tic-Tac, I took one and gave it back to her, my head still hurt. I didn't understand what my brain was telling me. Who has to die? Why do they have to die? I think this may be a problem in the future, but we'll have to find out for ourselves.

Chapter 4

Act 1-4 Interlude

Drew and his team from the past are taking a little break. So to make up for that this chapter picks up where Chapter 30 of Just Another Day 1 left off.

I guess there were some pranksters or young ones at my door, because I could hear their voices from inside of my house. I went over towards the door and eavesdropped on their conversation. I could make out three little voices, two female and one male.

"Why is this house out here?"

"I don't know, but it looks abandoned to me."

"Legend has it, there is a human that once lived here. Another rumor that's been going around is that a male Alicorn lives here. But these were just rumors, I don't really know if they're true." This is my perfect chance to mess with them, but I don't know what's gonna happen if I actually pull it off. I turned Alicorn and I opened the door, their eyes widened to the size of Luna's full moon at night.

"Get off my lawn you kids!" I tried to get them to scram, but they were just stricken with fear. Then I took a good look at them, they looked familiar, a little bit like the CMC's if I recall. They hurried off of my property, and I sat down on the porch with my lemon iced tea. I've taken a liking to settling down, maybe in a few hundred years I'll ask to retire, today I was just going to look around new Ponyville. A lot can change in 30 years, a lot more than you expect.

"Dawn, take care of Aunts Pinkie and Twilight for me please. I'm going to see Mom my friends real quick." I put on a trench coat and fedora and went out. It was raining, great, all I need to do is light myself a Cigar and look like the Mafia. I then teleported into the Canterlot courtyard, where there were memorials, statues, and a graveyard not that far away. There was an isolated section in the graveyard, where lied Nick, Kaptn, Jhon, and Helena. I can't believe I lost my team not so long ago, it's been about two years since they all died of natural causes. There was a memorial where it was dedicated to the now deceased Elements of Harmony, including Rainbow. The only two now remaining were Twilight and Pinkie, and I'm taking care of them nowadays.

"I'll see you guys again one day, but not for a while. Why do I have to be the one who's an Alicorn? Why couldn't it have been somepony else?" Tears formed in my eyes, a hoof was placed on my shoulder.

"Not now Celestia, I need some alone time."

"But you said you wanted to see me again?" I remembered that voice. It was Rainbow!

"Rainbow? Are you talking to me from the dead?"

"No, you're talking to me from the living, I was chilling with Nick and your old friends. Then you called me here, and I just so happened wanted to see you."

"Well, thanks for ruining the moment..."

"Gladly. Now for the real reason I'm here. Drew, you need to let go, find somepony new in your life. I won't mind, because you're an Alicorn, you're meant to live a long time. By the way how's Night Storm and Dawn Star?" Well, that just made it that much better knowing that it's okay with Rainbow. The thing is I think I'm gonna stay single, too much sorrow when you outlive the one you love.

"Night Storm has a family now, and Dawn Star is still living with me. I keep telling her that I'm fine by myself, but she worries about me and your old friends." Rainbow chuckled, but she looked back.

"Well, come by to talk again sometime, I really need to go. Nick is having a drink off with Kaptn." The apparition of her then disappeared, I chuckled because I'm probably going crazy. I think I was going crazy, the dead can talk to me now, and both Alicorn sisters were in the background, just staring at me.

"Are you alright Drew? Anything we can do to help?" They offered, I nodded ad wiped away leftover tears.

"Just a question. Is it... possible to talk to the dead somehow?" They looked at each other, then back to me, and huddled, I couldn't make out anything that they were saying.

"Actually, yes. If you visit one's gravestone or lifeless body, there is a spell that you can perform to talk to them."

"Oh, and another thing."

"Yes?"

"Can I... have a cup of tea? I'm thirsty as fuck."

"As much as I disapprove of your language, yes you may." I followed Celestia inside, I hung up my coat and hat on my way inside of the castle.

"How do you deal with so much death Princess? I just don't get it."

"The same way you do, you give them your respects as you move on. How do you deal with death on the battlefield?" I thought about it for a moment, I haven't really thought about it considering how many near death experiences I've been through.

"I don't, once the fight is over, you put a body bag over them. We don't really deal with death, it's a natural cause on the battlefield." I responded, and Celestia nodded in acknowledgement.

"Well, I take it that you haven't dealt with close friends dying and moving on so well."

"You know what? This talk really helped me. Hasn't there been problems between us and Gargoyles lately?" Celestia nodded. I then walked down to the Canterlot Armory, I can't believe that thirty years ago this was only filled with crossbows, spears, and swords, but now it's a really futuristic armory. Now, it holds an unbelievable amount of weaponry, such as laser weaponry, plasma weapons, conventional weapons, and melee weapons, not to mention all the suits of armor, like my ODST suit, the Advanced Suit, my old combat body armor, a Spartan IV suit, and other sets of clothes too. I don't really think that Gargoyles are evil, but they wrote a death threat specifically to Princess Celestia, and they also threatened to raid Equestria. I'm not letting stone bats take our stuff, that's like losing a pet rock that stole your favorite video game or something.

"Yes, they've been really hostile towards us lately. They said if we don't work out a negotiation for some type of bribe they'll attack Mane (Like Maine), the northern most state in our country." I guess I'm gonna be testing out a just recently made Snow Suit. Description of Drew's new Snow Suit below.

Plus the fact that it's winter, this Snow Suit will come in handy. Since Gargoyles are made of stone I think conventional weapons would do the trick. I'll be taking FMJ ammo just in case things get out of hand.

Chapter 5

Act 1-5

The Crew wanted to unwind today, because they are all tired and needed a break. So they decided to go to Pinkie's Club. To get an imagination of what Pinkie's club looks like, it looks like Club Solar from Black Ops II.

Wednesday 8:00 PM, 2165

"What are you planning to do tonight?" Rainbow nudged me in the shoulder. I shrugged, I had no earthly idea what I was going to do tonight. I was eating dinner at the cafe in town, because I had plans to go drinking tonight in Pinkie's Club nearby. The kids were back at home, I had Nick take care of them, because I needed a break. Night Storm worries about my drinking sometimes, saying it's bad for me. I know it is bad for me, but it's addicting and I don't care that much, I have enough shit to deal with.

"Well, we could always go to Pinkie's Club?"

"Sure, I could go for a drink, perhaps a song or two." I haven't done a song for a while, because I can't seem to find any that I like and I haven't done already. Rainbow and I went into the club, we were always on the list according to Pinkie, I really need to pay her back for that. Pinkie was already on stage, hosting her 24/7 party club, it was always crowded because it's Pinkie's club. Who doesn't like Pinkie's parties anyways?

"It looks like we have an unexpected guest." She noticed both Rainbow and I walking in, Jhon, Kaptn, and Helena were already here surprisingly. Nick didn't want to come anyways, so he volunteered to take care of the kids back at home. I hung up my trench coat and fedora to reveal me wearing a plain white shirt, and jeans.

"Alright, who's up first?" I asked, Helena raised her hand and we all went on stage. I took the spot of music mixer for Nick, I had the special effects table right in front of me.
