Life's a Party
Chapter 1: Prologue
Prologue
Twilight Sparkle was reading her books, as usual, when she was startled by Fluttershy bursting into the library. "Twilight," The cream pegasus said, her voice more stern and worried than usual, "Pinkie Pie's missing."
Twilight looked up at her friend. "What?" She asked, "Where is she?"
Fluttershy shrugged. "I don't know," She said, her voice calming down a bit, "I went to Sugar Cube Corner to buy a cake for Applejack's birthday party, and I asked Mrs. Cake where she was. She didn't know where Pinkie went. The last time Mrs. Cake saw her was last week."
Twilight Sparkle noticed Fluttershy spoke in a frantic tone. She could tell her pegasus friend was worried.
"Well, she could be in Trottingham. Her sister Octavia's playing there today, you know," Twilight calmly replied.
"Oh, no," Fluttershy said, "Octavia's here. The concert was cancelled."
Twilight scratched her head. "Well, um, I don't know then," She said, "Pinkie could be anywhere."
"I'm scared, Twilight, what if she moved?"
"I doubt that, Fluttershy."
"No, really, Twilight."
Twilight Sparkle laughed. "Pinkie's going to be fine, you wait."
Fluttershy frowned. "Okay," She said, "But if she doesn't come back by Thursday, I'm going to look for her."

The Canterlot Dungeon
Two guards were patrolling the dungeons. They, Graham and Bluth, walked around the area they considered "safe" - the area where Celestia kept the tax dodgers, ponies who weren't "insane, literal backstabbers, etc.".
"So," Graham said, nudging Bluth slightly, "I'm bored. Let's go downstairs."
"Downstairs!" Bluth exclaimed, "Are you nuts! They keep..."
Bluth looked to both sides before continuing.
"Pinkamena down there."
Graham laughed. "I know," He said, "That's why I want to go down there."
"B-but," Bluth stuttered, "Pinkamena's a psycho."
"So?" Graham scoffed, trotting down the stairs.
Bluth frowned and followed his friend downstairs reluctantly. The two guards walked to the end of the hall, and Graham opened a big steel door with his horn. Bluth gulped as the walked in.
"Oh good, you two again," A high pitched voice said.
Bluth quivered as a pink pony with straight hair glanced up at him. "I suppose you two want to see me again."
"Good morning, Pinkamena," Graham replied.
"G'morning, Graham," The pony scoffed in an annoyed tone.
"Pinkamena, don't get pissy with me."
"I ain't gettin' pissy, dumbass. I'm just tired, and you're not giving me my entitlement to rest."
Graham rolled his eyes. "You're testy this morning, aren't you, Pinkamena?"
The pony looked up at the guards. "Shut it, Graham. I'm tired. I get pissed off when I'm tired. So you can stay for a few more minutes, but be quick about whatever the hell you wanna say."
Graham smirked. "Okay, Pinkamena. I just wanted to say that there are going to be visitors here soon, so you're going to be on your best behavior, okay?"
The pink pony growled. "I hate everypony. All they do is whine over how I'm such a bad pony. I know I'm a bad pony. I don't need some snotty-ass douchebag to tell me that."
"Pinkamena," Graham groaned.
"You know what," Pinkamena growled, "Fuck it. Let them do what they want. I don't fucking care. Just don't bring me any goddamn juice. It tastes like dragon shit."
"Fine, suit yourself."
The guards left, and Pinkamena trotted over to her bed. She layed down on it and fell asleep. Pinkamena wondered if her friends would ever find her again. She assumed not, but didn't think about it.
